This is a solid two star facility. If all you require is a cheap clean spacious room for a night, it'll do the trick. If you want service, minimal decor, amenities - don't go there. Didn't see any stuff. You pick up/leave the room key on the counter of the front desk.

Comfortable room in a sprawling hotel, often empty while I was there - thought there were enough people for a party on Saturday night. Huge variety of places to sit and hang out, the games room and free food for evening snacks were highlights.

Don't let the Shining vibe put you off
Fascinating...the hotel appeared empty/closed when we arrived. The door was locked. The phone number on the door sign did not work. Then I noticed the text I had received the day earlier (and ignored) with portkod info. Not sure if this is a covid-19 situation but everything was done without human interaction: let yourself in, pick up keys, info about breakfast, etc. in the envelope. Once in, I was pleasantly surprised. Total timewarp. The 24-hr self-serve coffee and oatmeal was charming, too. Definitely off the beaten path but an enjoyable one-night stay.

Breakfast is less than basic, i would suggest to go eat somewhere else or pay a little more for a differnt locate that includes breakfast as well. Wifi wasnt the greatest either but they do have it available. Beds were really comfortable though. Bathroom took some getting used too but very creative on how they maximized space.

Hotelli lähellä satamaa on erittäin hyvä asia! Mutta eikö kannattaisi edes hieman panostaa hotellin kuntoon? Meidän huoneessa pistorasia löytyi sängyn viereen asennetun yöpöydän alta paikasta, joka oli miltei mahdoton löytää ja käyttää. Ikkunat olivat likaiset, villakoirat lentelivät ilmavirran mukana, ja WC:n suihkusysteeemi on "ainutlaatuinen". Kynnyksen seutu märkänee suihkun sijoittelun vuoksi, suihkun letku oli litistynyt ja koko systeemi hankala käyttää! Eikö mitenkään voisi pikkuhiljaa alkaa huone huoneelta korjata tätä tärkeää paikkaa, jos rahoitus ei riitä hotellin kaikkien suihkujen korjaukseen? Vuoteet olivat hyvät ja siistit, huoneen varustelu välttävä. Mutta tapasimme kahden yöpymisen aikana ainakin kolme työntekijää, jotka kaikki näyttivät hoitavan kaikki asiat receptionista siivoukseen! Siltii aina ystävällisinä ja auttamishaluisina, kuuntelevina.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht gehabt und kamen am frühen Abend im Hotel an. Durch Zufall hatten wir draußen jemanden getroffen gehabt, der uns den Türcode mitteilte, ansonsten wären wir nicht reingekommen. Morgens beim Frühstück gab es eine relativ große Auswahl an Aufschnitten, aber leider nur 2 verschiedene Käsesorten. Es wurden 2 verschiedene Brot- und 3 verschiedene Müslisorten angeboten.
Was wir persönlich sehr unhygienisch fanden war die Ameisenstraße, die durch den Frühstücksraum führte und teilweise an das Frühstücksbuffet ging. Als ich mir Apfelsaft holen wollte und ich auf den Knopf drückte, bekam ich Wasser mit Ameisen. Somit blieb für mich, da ich keinen Kaffee trinke, zum Trinken nur die Option Milch übrig.
Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir mit dem Hotel sehr unzufrieden. Es war eher eine schlechte Jugendherberge und für uns persönlich nicht das Geld wert.

Det är billigt boende och gratis parkering, det är det positiva. Mycket slitet, ofräscht rum. I frukostrummet sprang det myror, kändes inte riktigt bra, även om jag vet att de är i farten just vid denna tid på året. I övrigt var frukosten inte heller något att glädjas över. Synd på ett hotell som man tycker borde gå att driva på ett trivsammare sätt med tanke på närheten till hamnen och att jag ju nog antagligen inte är den enda bilburna gästen som behöver boende i väntan på nästa färja.

This is a pretty decent hotel. A little out of the way of Umeå but that keeps it quiet. A nice quiet bedroom, granted the beds are a little hard but still comfortable.

Elementet fungerade inte i första rummet. I andra rummet fanns skabbiga möbler, och väldigt mycket smuts. I det tredje rummet fanns värme och var skapligt rent från väldigt äcklig smuts. Det rum som gick att bo i var ändå inte särskilt rent och väldigt väldigt slitet. I allmänna utrymmen stog sopor och avlagda möbler. Fick ingen kompensation för dessa rumbyten och olägenheter( än).
