We stayed on a Saturday night so parking in a nearby side street was easy and we only had to pay for a few hours as it was then free. Family room had double bed and double sofa bed, quite small room but perfectly acceptable for a 1 night stop over. Very good location close to main area for bars, restaurants and shopping. TV and board games in reception area

This was a great location while we were in town. The only negative is the parking can be a little tricky, but with the guidance of the staff, we had a great parking spot for our vehicle. The breakfast choices were better than most hotels that we’ve stayed in. I would stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. We were so close to the Ducal Palace, the cathedral, shopping and dining. We were able to walk to everything that we needed in the city.

The parking was about a 10 minute walk but with small luggage it was very manageable. Hotel reception was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is offered for purchase at the hotel, but there are places close by to get a coffee and pastry in the morning. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and great location. Room was lovely and a nice surprise of having a small balcony which had a good view. No parking at hotel but secure underground car park within walking distance €11 per 24hr. There is space to park outside hotel to drop off bags whilst checking in. Would definitely stay here again

We were in one of the annex rooms, not the main property. Our room was on the fourth floor of the building without an elevator, and the stairway up is incredibly narrow and spiraling. It does tell you this on the reservation, but for American travelers just be aware of two things; first when they say it’s on the third floor we would consider it the fourth; secondly, the spiral staircase is small, narrow, and very steep. Not likely legal here in the states:) That said, the room was absolutely amazing! It was beautifully appointed with a comfortable bed, internet, huge windows on one side that let in plenty of air (but no view except of the building across the way on the east side), and it was super clean. The location is perfect for a trip to Dijon. Everything you want to see is an easy walk. There are more restaurants in walking distance than any city I’ve ever visited! If you’re OK with the stairs, I can’t recommend this room enough, just a perfect spot for our three day trip to Dijon.

Despite the supervisor’s written info about the hotel guest benefitting free winery visit and tasting through the hotel reception, Christine rudely insisted that we “misunderstood “ the information and the hotel has nothing to do with it. She “never heard about it”. Very unprofessional, unpleasant and expected better service from this calibre of a hotel.

Very central, convenient location for seeing Dijon! Only drawback is ‘public parking’ 10mins walk away, with very narrow spiral access, putting my alloys at significant risk of damage! Website did indicate limited onsite parking….but no specifics/unable to book. Although we stayed x2 nights & arrived before 4pm, we weren’t offered the option of onsite parking!!
Breakfast is worth it. Staff very friendly & helpful.

Hotel des Ducs was in a great location, and was clean with a friendly staff. I had a small double room, and it was pretty cozy (small), which was fine for me as a solo traveler.

It is conveniently located a block from the Palais des Duc and Place de la Revolution, and all of the shops and dining options in the area. The Dijon Ville train station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel, along the main pathway.

The only negative was the room size, but as I said it was fine for me as a solo traveler. Otherwise it is a fine option for travelers looking for 3-star accommodations conveniently located in Dijon's tourist area.

We had a great one night stay! The location is very good and close to everything you want to see! The property was beautiful and very clean and modern. We booked a superior room and we unfortunately got the 1st floor with a bit of a view but quite a loud road and a very bright outdoor light that has you closing your curtains. Breakfast was good. I would stay again but would make sure I had an upper room with a view next time. We weren’t offered a walking map which is too bad! Disappointed to note they had exactly what we were wanting when we checked out and saw it on their counter. Appreciated the coffee and tea in the room

Ongoing maintenance work meant some early morning disturbance, nothing major.

On street parking outside - we were lucky to get a space - €4.50 for 2 hours 9am-7pm.

This was a quaint building with great facilities. We stayed one night and it would have suited for a few more. The facilities were excellent with easy access to the old part of town. The only thing to be mindful of is the access with no lift. The staircase was very tight and would have made getting a large suitcase up easily. We left our suitcases in the car and used backpacks which made it simple for us.

Excellent spacious apartment, very close to all attractions. The only downside was the amount of noise you can hear from the apartment above, as the wooden floors were creaking and you can hear people upstairs stomping and slamming the doors when we went to sleep, so soundproofing is not the best.

Perfect place to stay in Dijon

Great place to stay in Dijon right in the center of town - so it was easy to walk everywhere. We came by car so you can park in front of the hotel to drop off your luggage and then there is a nice indoor car park close by where you pay €11 for 24 hours. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the appartment nice and spacious. Will definitely recommend.

Great location!
Maybe the other rooms are better than the one we had. Ours was noisy, run down and generally mediocre at best.
Specifically:No deadlock on door, mould in shower room, sofa beds extremely creaky, thin walls lots of noise, dirty wooden floors.

What a fantastic hotel! We had an apartment for our family of six, and we could not believe how spacious and well-equipped it was! Espresso machine with coffee beans ready to go, dishwasher, microwave, oven, washing machine, and more - much more like a long-term rental than a hotel. We also arrived very late in the evening and were still very warmly and helpfully greeted at reception.

This property was a great place to stay for our overnight visit to Dijon! The room was perfectly clean and the modern facilities were such a welcoming experience. Add in the historic setting and you have a perfect Historic lodging. We wish we could have stayed longer!
The only thing is to be aware that the winding narrow staircase up to the third floor can be challenging when carrying baggage. Otherwise 5 stars for us!

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Dijon

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Beautiful design. So many personal touches. Large space spread around a courtyard. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
Located just off Place de la Liberation but we had a very quiet room even though there was a music festival on so there was a lot of noise in Place de la Liberation.

Well situated for old part of town and close to plenty of eating places quthin short walk.We stayed on Sunday so street parking free but spaces tight and limited. Breakfast very nice. Room small ( superior double) but kettle and effective air con. As a personal preference didnt sleep well as winter weight duvet and it was too hot.
