Breakfast was great. The sheet on the bed was too thin. When you pulled up the next layer that was too thick and was too hot.

The lady who checked us in had to be the nicest lady I’ve ever met. So friendly and helpful and sweet to my daughter.
Matthew

Staff-Excellent
Breakfast- Not enough options
Room- Nice bed, nice bathroom. Not enough light, and the carpet is not good for people with allergies
TV- Sparse channels and too many conservative Fox channels. Not being able to use the Guide function on the remote was terrible, and TV lost signal once

Property was very clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay. Very clean, excellent location. The breakfast was very continental. Don't expect to get full meal. There's a waffle maker, bagels, and coffee/tea. I would recommend the stay because it's comfortable, clean and centrally located.
Dawn
The property was clean, and the parking area is handy and tidy and well lit. The breakfast area was clean and stacked, and the staff was helpful. I do wish there was slightly more lighting available in the room itself, or a different type of soft lighting. All out is perfect.
Edward
Would have been nice to have warm eggs sausage and potatoes forBreakfast just had bread ,cereals and waffles

Heather
Staff was great. Room was clean. Hotel was spacious.
Jill
Good: The room was big and generally clean. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows. No weird smells. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Check in was easy. Parking was always available, and it's in a convenient area near businesses and restaurants.
Bad: The shower was dirty with pink mold in several areas in and around it. The breakfast was pretty basic but not terrible, mostly carb options. The wifi didn't work in my room the whole time.

Convenient, clean, comfortable, with ample parking.

Bathroom sink water flow was minimal at best. Wife could not watch face and barely hands. Wifi in operative alarm clock had incorrect time on it by one hour too high and no way to change the setting.
Gregory
Clean room, great temperature, friendly staff and every type of shopping nearby. Fantastic.
Moreover, the city is filled with wonderful places to visit. I shall return.

Great place with great staff. Check out the farmer's market and art if you get the chance.
Terrie
Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are not very big to move around in with two queen beds. The breakfast bar needed more hot items.
LeeAnn
The staff was wonderful, the location is perfect, central to lots of stuff and close to the interstate, breakfast could have been better, but it was ok, rooms were clean and well maintained, would definitely stay here again!
Kelley
room was very clean, public spaces well maintained. staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. breakfast was fine. i wish there was a hairdryer in the room.
Michael
As a member I requested an early checkin when I arrived at 1:00PM. The attendant at the counter said that I could not checkin until 3:00PM. I sat in the lobby and I could not checkin until 3:00 on the dot, not a minute earlier. While I was in the lobby waiting a man and a woman came in. The man was extremely intoxicated. Staff allowed him entrance. The man came to me asking where the bathroom was. I told him and pointed to it. He then walked past the bathroom, went into a hotel room, and relieved himself right there in the floor. He then came out apologizing. All the while I saw no action from any employee at the hotel. The lady at the counter was not very friendly nor helpful.
Felicia
Clean building, and friendly staff
Cynthia
Clean room friendly host. My only complaint was the waterflow in the bathroom sink. No real complaint just felt better you know.
Meagan
Womderful staff. The room.wasmt stocked in the essentials and the ac was working over time...however the stay was a 9 oit of 10. Also it was clean!
Lonnie
Did not have a \"Breakfast\" just bread and sugar. No protein options. Just bread to be toasted, waffles or cereal. Was highly disappointed in the \"breakfast\" provided. My room also had a slight smell. My room appeared to be clean other than the slight smell. was warm enough to go swimming however the pool still remained closed to guests. Staff were nice.
Greg
Perfectly fine guest experience. Annoying that prices are set to demand (Air show) but everywhere else was doing it too.
Gary
Excellent hotel. Very clean and ideally located. You should not have an ask for your room to be serviced. Holdover from Covid staff reduction. Only blemish on an excellent stay.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside is unassuming but we found the room to be better than most we've stayed in. Clean, renovated and spacious. Breakfast was good too. Fresh and delicious.
Buffy
Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. This was a last-minute stay for us and we made a very good choice. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff who helped us out. Very friendly.

This is a lively property that is well maintained and very clean. The room was comfortable and well layed out. The location is great and close to retail stores, restaurants, etc. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in New Bern.
Keith
The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The building and room were very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. I'm kind of particular about my pillow and often bring my own, but I had forgotten to bring it on this trip, thankfully I found the pillow to be very comfortable. It was very quiet. As others have mentioned, breakfast was simpler than some other hotels, but was adequate and everything was fresh. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we would certainly stay there again.
Cynthia
Clean rooms, breakfast left a lot to be desired, the front desk staff I interacted with was courteous.
Deidra

Doug
Clean quiet comfortable
Brian
Everything. It was good. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. And it was under difficult circumstances with the near record, setting snowfall.
Donna
The staff was pleasant. The bathroom door blocked the entry door.
The only hot offering for breakfast was a waffle. This was the smallest breakfast offering we have experienced at a \"breakfast included\"hotel.
Our credit card was charged an additional $75 which we were told would be returned in up to 10 days. I would not have stayed here if this was told to me when I made the reservation.

Rooms were spotless. Lobby was very inviting. The breakfast was great. If we ever need to stay at a hotel in New Bern it will definitely be the Clarion Point New Bern.

Overall a nice clean stay only cons I have to mention are that the room feels kind of cramped due the the huge closet thing right infront of the first bed and the breakfast did not have any hot food other than waffles. Eggs and sausage should def be added to the menu! Other than those small things the stay was great!

We are regular customers of this hotel. It's always been our favorite New Bern Hotel and we can't imagine staying anywhere different. The first night was the absolute best, I had the BEST night of sleep and it was so quiet. The second night was a different situation. Someone had checked in after 9pm that night and was given a room on our floor. Next to our room, all I heard for almost 2 hours was children screaming at the top of their lungs and thudding and running and banging thing's around. It was so loud you could hear it in the hallway. I did eventually go to the desk to see if anything could be done (husband and I were there celebrating our wedding anniversary.) She said the person next to us was not supposed to have anyone with him and I told her there have to told her there has to be At least 2 kids in that room having a huge meltdown. She said she'd handle it. I laid awake well past 11pm listening to it and was promptly woken up the next morning by it. I really wish someone had done something to address the issue. He may have been there a few times but it didn't change the fact I had to listen to kids screaming in the room next to us. Other than that it was a goodstay.

Our room was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and nice.

The continental breakfast could use improvement.
The parking spaces are kind of tight and they could use more.
Other than that no issues and our stay was good.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived, due to being short staffed. Room was very ready (clean/neat/stocked) when we got into it after dinner. Bed in the room was comfortable. Lounge chair was a nice addition as well. A/C kept the room from being hot or humid.
Front desk was very friendly and apologetic for the delay. Helped with locations for dinner when asked.
Small issues overall. It was a good stay for us. We would go back to this hotel without hesitation.
Refrigerator had no freezer compartment. We bought a pint of ice cream and it (obviously) melted overnight.

I was very pleased with my stay. The facility appears to have been updated . The lobby and breakfast area was impressive . I will stay here again if in this area.

This was the quietest stay of any hotel I have been to.The room was neat, modern and clean. It was also nice to turn on regular TV, not streaming service based! Thank you for a great stay! I will return.

We prepaid the room. Upon entering the room we felt the room smelled bad enough, and with the window screwed shut, we decided to return to the front desk and turned in our keys. A different room was not available, so we asked for a full refund. We never received a refund. We had used the toilet and a hand towel, but were only in the room for a couple minutes. Via email, the manager chose to disagree with our refund request.
