Great property, close to dining and great views. They just needed to fix the exterior lights so we didn’t have to use our flashlights in the hallway and stairs. Sound proofing between units isn’t great either.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. At first we booked room with a city view but once we arrived were delighted we were able to upgrade to a sea facing room. It was convenient to walk to the city centre, bus services and a supermarket. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Enjoyed eating on the balcony.

Excellent family of four stay. Staff are friendly. Sea view room was excellent - large enough , two bathrooms Inc. 2 toilets and 2 showers. Aircon great, only maybe 10-12 min walk along harbour into the beautiful harbour town where there is loads of shops ice cream parlours bars and restaurants. Small point was I think it could have been a little cleaner ( floor whilst tiled needs a deeper clean) and the beds are a tad hard. Minor points and would def stay there again. Checkout at 12:00 was nice plus can pay 10euro per hour to check out later. Small

Small studio close to train station. Was clean and basic. Dark and stuffy since it’s a basement unit. A few things were inconvenient - the key pickup is 3 blocks away which can be annoying when lugging suitcases. The bathroom had no working hooks to place towels or room to put toiletries.

Fabulous location, great apartment

A fabulous location overlooking the sea and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Ciutadella. The apartment itself was huge, with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining area with loads of useful equipment for comfort and convenience. The apartment had a large balcony and a separate, private rooftop terrace with a sea view. The apartment building had two pools and is generally quiet so sunbeds were always available. Would return in a heartbeat. Secure underground parking is available for 10 euros per day, however this was not required as there is ample, free on-street parking available. Very clean, daily maid service. All round top notch.

Pleasant comfortable stay.

We chose this as our 4 night stay while in Ciutadella. The location worked well for us as we like a stroll in the evening to grab food and drinks. You can walk along the harbour which brings you to the start of the dining options along the waters edge .Although we don’t use the kitchen it seemed quite well equipped. It did have a coffee machine which is a lovely addition. We did ask to change our room as we were given a ground floor apartment but do prefer a higher floor. This wasn’t possible as it was busy. It is a very well maintained building and is kept very clean. There is also the bonus of a child free pool if you wish to use it.

Wonderful family stay

We had an amazing time here! The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming (reception giving great info about the area, booking taxis, great bar staff at the pool, friendly cleaning staff). The room was clean and very spacious (2 bed standard apartment( and had a lovely balcony). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool and sunloungers were great, with a lovely view over the Sant Nichlau turret. The bar area was a lovely pkace to sit abd have a drink before heading into Ciutadella in the evening. It was only a 10 minute walk into the city centre, or you could walk along the promenade down into the harbour area. The perfect mix of city break and relaxing by the pool.

This was quite refreshing on a hot day, but my youngest wasn't able to stay in very long before she was shivering. I would definitely stay here again.

Great aparthotel with lovely staff

We had opted to pay the extra for a sea view and were glad that we did as we had sun from mid morning onwards and had a lovely view, which not every apartment has. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The only criticism I have was the base of the walk in shower was very slippery, causing me to fall on one occasion, which I rectified by standing on the shower mat every time afterwards and that the shower curtain didn't do a very good job of keeping the water off the bathroom floor. The pools are lovely, if a little on the small side for peak season, and its was lovely to cool off after a morning sightseeing. The location of the aparthotel is great, a lovely 10-15 minute walk along the harbour or a straight walk into the centre. There's a lovely little bakery and supermarket nearby with friendly, helpful staff. The best thing of all about the complex is the staff. Every-one we met were so helpful, cheerful and friendly that made staying there a pleasure. Citadella is a lovely place to visit and a good base to visit a few of the lovely beaches nearby

A wonderful place to watch sunsets!

The location is super, overlooking the sea but only a short walk into town. The apartments and ground are very well kept. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Christian, the manager, took very good care of us and helped to make it a special stay!

Wonderful location, good hotel, 15 minute walk into the heart of Ciutadella. Loved the two bedroom apartment, which meant my mate and I did not need to share a twin room. Great pool, pool bar hours could be extended, but fully appreciate that during Covid, this isn't economically doable.

The only slight improvement would be to the bathrooms. A combination of style-over-substance shower head and a shower screen which was too small meant the bathroom for drenched every time and became slippery.

7 Night Stay just outside of the main season. Very easy access to town. Quiet hotel. No restaraunt. Bar area was not open much. That said its a tourist town and both of those things are avaialble close by. Pool area is great with great views out to sea. Staff are all very helpful. I would stay again

Positives: The location of the skyline hotel is wonderful as it’s a short walk to the harbour and town. Lots of great restaurants to choose from in town. The large pool was fantastic and great for both adults and kids. The apartment itself was good and comfortable. Fresh towels provided everyday.

Negatives: No washing machine or dishwasher which would have been a bonus (especially when travelling with kids). Cleaning service (of the flat) could have been better.

Overall, we had a great time.

Great pool, nice staff, apartment is basic but clean and does the job. They replaced our towels everyday but nothing else (I would've loved them to replace the little coffee pods in the kitchen). Free parking on the street outside was totally fine. And, we had to check out by noon but didn't leave til later so they have shower rooms you can use after the pool. We stayed the week before the Sant Joan festival and would have appreciated knowing that at the end of the week the whole complex would turn into one big party with competing music coming from every balcony. We may have chosen another part of the Island.

There were ants crawling all over the kitchen counter and bedroom but apparently this is normal in menorca.
Also showering felt more like a chore because the shower screen was too small so the water would splash everywhere! The bathroom and toilet wasn’t very clean either, we told reception staff this however it still wasn’t clean to my standards. You could see the dirt on the bottom of the , under the sink and the edges between in the glass in the shower which was pretty gross.

Menorca get away

Booked a penthouse apartment didn’t realise it was over 2 floors, this just added to the experience. Bedrooms on the lower floor with an excellent appointed kitchen and sitting room. Great Views from the balcony with table and chairs. Some of the other apartments had larger balconies that accommodate sun loungers unfortunately ours wasn’t big enough for both. However there was an additional patio with loungers on the opposite side but it didn’t get the sun.
My only criticism would be the shower very small area surrounded by a shower curtain that didn’t prevent the water escaping from the tray as it was very shallow . We pointed this out to reception as well as mentioning we were expecting a bath it turns out this was located off the 2nd bedroom (I would assume the master as it was on-suite). All resolved once we had access.
The sliding patio doors out to the balcony are very low. You have to step over a high step and duck your head at the same time as there is a concrete over hang. This is a design fault as the patio doors on the lower level provide plenty of head room.
Otherwise we had a lovely stay at the apartment and the staff were friendly and helpful when we visited.

I stayed in early November and the price was rock bottom for a beautiful, spacious apartment with magnificent uninterrupted views out over the sea. (Other parts of th complex may have more restricted views.)
The kitchen was very well equipped.
The town is very beautiful BUT a good 10-15 minute walk away with no buses.
Complimentary tea and coffee sachets on arrival was a welcome bonus (not normal on the continent)

An attractive property in a very convenient position for a pleasant walk to Ciutadella

On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were, for some unknown reason, given an upgrade and ended up in a 3-bed duplex penthouse, which we were delighted with, although there were only 2 of us. The apartment had everything we could have wished for, however the outside terrace tiles were tatty and worn with a lot of bird droppings and definitely in need of some maintenance. I didn’t find it a comfortable place to relax because of this. The daily cleaning of the apartments left little to be desired. In the end, we had to ask for the floors to be swept and cleaned. If they could sort out these two issues we would stay again.

I was a bit surprise as I wasn’t expecting a property that was renewed quite recently. Common areas are great and apartment is big with minimalist decoration (modern taste) and extremely practical. Location is also a plus as this location is in front Castell of sant Nicolau and with a beautiful ocean view. Staff is friendly and During check in you receive a complimentary glass of cava. Location is safe with several options to park (free) and it isn’t in the middle of the city, which is a must when you want to relax. Several restaurants and rockery stores are within less than 10 minutes walking though

Friendly staff, lovely grounds and pool area and it was quiet at night. We wouldn't have been given the sea view room we had reserved if I hadn't made the receptionist aware of it.
Sadly the rooms are not 4 star quality, indeed they were more like student accommodation. The kitchen was stocked with IKEA crockery, some of which was chipped, and there were no tea cups and saucers.
There was no kettle. Furnishings were very utilitarian and bed sheets well worn. The daily cleaning schedule did not include the bathroom or floors.
Would not stay at a Ferrier Hotel again.

We booked a one bedroom luxury apartment with the sea views and on a higher floor. Instead we got a two bedroom ground floor apartment with a garden. No sea view from the actual apartment, only from the garden if you looked through the sun umbrellas and lounges. We asked for a different room but the hotel could not accommodate our request. A very disappointing stay!

Fantastic location

We had a superior sea view suite, which was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The location of the apartments is fantastic, being a couple of minutes walk from the centre and harbour of Cuitadella. The fact that the apartments are out of the centre of town means that they are quiet enough to be able to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
Our air conditioning wasn't working, but after it was reported, it was quickly mended.
Would certainly recommend this place, and would love to return.

The town is lovely, lots of little shops, tapas bars, cafes & restaurants & in the harbour, all within a 10-15 minute walk. Briliant loation for Cuitedalla

This is our second holiday at the Apartments. We chose this location becasue of the stunning views, peaceful location and easy walk into town. It has everything to offer for a self-catering holiday. Originally built as domestic dwellings, the apartments are huge and modern. The site used to be the poplular 'Esmerelda Hotel'. Ideal for both young families with children from a safety aspect and the more mature travellers. I would highly recommend to anyone.

It is massive. 15 blocks of apartments. Our apartment was so far into the concrete jungle that even though we had some lovely weather our apartment and balcony didn't get a single ray of sunshine. We did ask to be moved but were fobbed off with come back in an hour, come back tomorrow, come back in an hour. I'm sure there are apartments with the lovely views that are on the web site but ours wasn't one of them. We wouldn't go back.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a penthouse sea view apartment, which was a nice luxury. The roof terrace was huge, the views were wonderful and each sunset was a special treat. The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable. Surprisingly there was no coffee maker or iron, but there was an electric fruit juicer. Otherwise the place was well appointed. The complex and pools were very clean and also modern. The building is a bit echoey and the walls are quite thin. The couple next door would chat until the small hours on their balcony, right next door to one of our bedrooms, which made it almost impossible to sleep. In high season it must be bedlam. One of the ground floor or \"inside\" apartments is probably a completely different experience to a penthouse sea view. It's just a short walk into town and there is a really good cycle shop \"Tot Velo\" just up the street where you can rent town, mountain or road bikes. Off-season - excellent. High-season - only if you can handle a constant buzz.

Welcoming Aparthotel in a quiet area

Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were fine but the cleaning of the room was poor with the floors never swept until day 6 out of 7 which was not really acceptable.
The shower screens were too short so the bathroom floors were always flooded but the overall look of the place was fresh and quite new with good equipment in the kitchen for breakfast and other meals. A decent fridge too.
The swimming pool was freezing because it was not heated and the weather was cool and cloudy in mid September. With solar panels it would not be that expensive to heat it and it would make all the difference to the quality of the place which was generally reasonably of a high standard. The landscaping was well maintained and there was never any litter.
Having canned music in the Bar area all the time was a bit annoying and the volume could have been lower for those trying to read near by.
All in all it was a pleasant place to stay and I would recommend it should the above comments be acted upon.

Diabolical excuse for a penthouse with a view

We booked a penthouse apartment advertised as a \"room with a view\". The only view we had was of all the neighbours around us looking at us as we looked at them. The only exception was one chair on the patio which if you sat on it and leaned to the right you could see the sea and pool. The patio in question was accessed by a sliding door about 5'10\" high. Not brilliant when your 6'4\" tall.
The apartment was unexpectedly on two floors. Bedrooms on lower floor with lounge/kitchen on upper floor. As we live in a bungalow due to mobility problems this was definitely NOT what we would have booked had we known.
The apartment was the most disorganised layout we have ever seen with very poor comfort in the lounge area.
After arriving late at night and been told there was no alternative room to change to but the manager may help us in the morning we stayed in the room overnight without unpacking.
The following morning the manager did not help, just said there was a 90% chance of a room change the following day.
Not happy with this, we walked out and found alternative accommodation in a much nicer and friendlier hotel.
We are extremely unhappy with the advertising of these apartments and feel they in no way reflect the true image of what they are.
Worst ever booking we have made in 30 years of travelling.

Would not use Expedia again if this is the way they falsely advertise their accommodation.

Very nice, comfortable and clean hotel

Fantastic location overlooking a little castle on the coast, and with the old town of Ciutadella a 10 min walk. We were travelling just as a couple and booked one bed apartment but the hotel must have bumped us up. We had a 2 bed apartment and I assume the balcony, living and kitchen areas were larger than we would have had in a 1 bed. Also it overlooked the large pool and had a nice view over the coast. So we were very happy with the apartment but most likely in July/August it would have been smaller and possibly overlooked the street. It was very clean and nicely decorated, the kitchen was well stocked and quite new. Very comfortable stay. The pool is lovely, good size and the bar quite nice. Overall very pleased with the hotel

Really Good place.

Very clean and tidy. Impressed with our apartment. Facilities were great. I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Sparkling wine or juice upon arrival in reception. A welcome pack of assorted things in the kitchen. Free wifi. U.K. tv channels to watch if you want to keep updated with X Factor haha. Great appliances and even brand new sponge tea towel and wash cloths. It was really really good.

Relaxing atmosphere and close to Ciutedela

We booked a Penthouse with Sea View. When we first arrived we were given a side room with a tiny view of a bay. When we did request to move to one with a Sea View they were able to move us the next day. Although we weren't offered any money back for a room that wasn't the one shown and paid for via Expedia.
The next room was absolutely lovely with a great terrace wrap around looking over to the lighthouse and with great views of the sunset. The pool was lovely, but very cold! Would be much better if they could have the water a little warmer. The staff were accommodating and friendly and a pleasure to talk to!
Great location. Beds a little on the simple side and wasn't easy to find extra covers, some rooms did not have them on offer.

Excellent apartment in a great position

The whole complex was kept spotless, the flats and the landscaping. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Both pools were pretty empty during our stay, so very nice for a quick swim before lazing on the sunloungers. We started in the smaller adults only pool, but preferred the main pool with its view of the sea. Cuitadella is a really lovely old town, and the ten minute walk along the inlet into town was perfect, with lovely views of the fantastic yachts that berth there. There were a couple of restaurants around the corner, but Cuitadella is full of them, so you're spoiled for choice. The tourist office at the side of the main square is very helpful if you have any questions, through the reception staff can answer most things.
