This is probably the best hotel experience I've had in years. Front desk was genuiely friendly, even with a glass of cava!
The room was beautifully decorated, included toiletries, the towels were soft. And the views were beautiful! Walking distance to a strip of shops and close to cathedral. There's a public transportation service right in front of the hotel, which you can take one stop toward Plaza de Espana. An unforgettable stay!

Check-in was very pleasant and the front desk informed us the street in front of the hotel would be blocked from taxi access the morning of our departure, October 19, due to an organized race. I was informed that the conceirge would be able to assist us with taxi service upon our departure. On the morning of the 19th. I called the front desk to have a porter take our bags. I then went to concierge desk to get some assistance regarding taxi service. The concierge said the roads are blocked and we would have to walk some distance to get a taxi. He could identify the location for the nearest taxi stand. We then got our bags from the porter who also could not identify where would could get a taxi.
This was our first time in Seville and neither my wife nor I speak very much Spanish. Ultimately we carried our bags for about 15 minutes and located a taxi stand.
The staff should have been better prepared for this situation and at the very least provide a map with a time estimated for walking to the nearest available taxi stand.
The lack of preparation and professionalism shown by the staff does not place your hotel in a very favorable light.

In some ways it is an almost perfect hotel in many levels. The historical building is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the open air patio is amazing. The pool is perfect for the Seville hot weather. And the stuff is great and efficient. The location is just amazing at the heart of historic Seville with walkable access to most attractions. Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service f

I recently stayed at Alfonso XIII and had an exceptional experience, especially as someone traveling with a service dog. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure both my dog and I felt welcome and comfortable.

The check-in process was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities provided for my service dog, including a cozy bed and a special treat. The hotel staff was knowledgeable about service animal regulations and treated us with the utmost respect and kindness.

Our room was immaculate and spacious, offering easy access to outdoor areas, which was perfect for quick walks. The grounds were beautifully maintained.

Dining at the hotel was a delight. The restaurant staff was accommodating, ensuring we had a suitable table where my service dog could comfortably settle. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was both elegant and relaxed.

It's rare to find a place that genuinely understands and supports guests with service animals. I highly recommend this hotel seeking a fantastic, welcoming getaway.

During our 8 day trip we spent time in 3 hotels, this one was by far the most expensive but sadly the most disappointing. It's the kind of place that treats the elite with Kidd gloves but the random guest is a nuisance. We saw guests being offered champagne but not us! Our room was painted black with red accents, very dark and sombre. The restaurants were fine, expensive but we were expecting that. It's in a wonderful location which is the biggest reason to stay.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip in which the air-conditioning never worked. A repair man came the first night and said it was working and left a fan for me. The AC never worked and no one acknowledged that. My second day became even more ridiculous when the power in the room went out three times while I was trying to get ready for work and then later to check out. The repairman came three times and seemed rather annoyed with me and the front desk didn’t do anything but say I’m sorry. For the price of these rooms, and the quality expected, I was incredibly disappointed, and I will never stay there again.

Not what it once was. This was our 4th stay at the hotel since 2014. The hotel is beautiful, majestic really and well located but most definitely not a 5 Star service that goes above and beyond for its clients as it once was. Particularly when it comes to families with younger children. The icing on the cake is that my Chanel make up kit disappeared after the room was cleaned for checkout. For which, I received no apology from the staff.

Hotel is undergoing renovations and the construction noise is not pleasant, they should advise guests, when reservations were made. Coffee mugs when we used we had to ask service to bring to the room. Phones to call room service not working… just not a good experience for the high price we paid.

It was like a horror movie. We paid 2.500 euro for 1 night and we received a room in 18 degrees, and smelling sewage. They said it will be heated in 10 min, there was no change after an hour and we called technical service. Someone came, check the air conditioning again and one of the rooms was a bit heated. We went out for a dinner and got back to the room around 23hrs. The smell in our bedroom was worst, we opened the windows, kids were asleep so we had to stay in the room last night. I woke up around 03:30 in the morning with a horrible smell, I was about to vomit. We moved to the kids room, the room was freezing... So, we tried to sleep 4 people, in 2 single beds in a freezing room. I really pissed off and went down to the reception, they apologised etc. A cleaner and technician came, they sprayed some air freshener and gave us an electrical heater. You can imagine out frustration. We met with the front desk manager after the breakfast, he said they will do the best to compensate for previous night and make sure that we will have the rest of our stay perfect. We will see....

The Hotel Alfonso XIII is an iconic hotel for many reasons. From the moment you drive through the gates you are treated like royalty. The valet service is first rate. The lobby is very special. Elegant and comfortable

We spent a week at this hotel with 2 teenage daughters. It is a very beautiful and elegant building and the hotel was an important part of our Seville experience. Set around a lovely courtyard, with a restaurant, terrace bar
estaurant and cocktail bar, with severwl live music events over the week (jazz, piano etc). The saltwater outdoor swimming pool is lovely.
Breakfast is great, a good range of cooked foods, fresh fruit, granola, nuts etc, fish, cold meats and salads. Also fresh bread, pastries and cakes.
Shutters and decent glazing mean that even street facing rooms are quiet and dark and the beds are comfortable.
Concierge were helpful for local information and all the staff we encountered were friendly and professional.
Such a central position, that you are in walking distance of many of the main sites.
A lovely and memorable stay.

Grand Old Property

Clearly the grand hotel of Seville. Its location is great and it stands out as a landmark of the town. For a very old property it was well maintained. The only real shortcoming was the service. The concierge didn’t respond before our stay about transportation even though they sent an email reaching out. In person the team always seemed to be distracted with something else rather than customers. The pool service was quite spotty. On the plus side, the front desk crew were very good and the staff at breakfast worked very hard. The cleaners were friendly and efficient.

Check in and being shown to our room wasn’t to the standard of a 5 star hotel unfortunately. The check in girl dealing with us looked concerned the whole time and went away to check things making us feel there was an issue with the booking. The girl showing us to the room forgot to show us where the pool was. Beautiful hotel in centre of the city, no comfortable day bar if you don’t want to sit at the pool either.
The greeting note with chocolates in the room was addressed to someone else.
To me the small details were overlooked for a hotel of this calibre.
The 5:30pm daily tour of the hotel didn’t happen, even we waited in reception we were ignored.

Went to bar for drink , waited an age to be served, again when wanting another drink , staff seem to vanish. Had to go to front desk to check if room was ready, as no phone call whilst waiting served person behind us, eventually got room keys, but again after a long wait called reception asking where our luggage was, only then did it arrive. Room was lovely, bed comfy. Breakfast was excellent, vast range on offer. For the cost of room expected better service, will not return

If you come to Sevilla, you must stay at Hotel Alfonso! Absolutely lovely and elegant. Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool area is wonderful and massage service was highly professional.

We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond offering 5 star customer service. The food was incredible for breakfast buffet and dinner in the main restaurant. The pool is clean and offers a great break from the extreme heat. Located in the center of everything you’d want to see! Would definitely return.

It is a very special building and location. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was outstanding in terms of its offer of choice.
However the mattress felt old and soft and squeaked loudly. Not what you expect in an premium hotel. When we arrived at 4pm the room wasn't ready so we were kindly offered a drink and the charming man at reception said he would bring the key to us when it was ready. He forgot and 50mins later we had to follow it up. He had forgotten our names and that he promised to bring the key. I felt this was poor and for all his charm it seemed insincere. We had travelled from Madrid where we stayed in a less expensive hotel and the service and quality of the room was far superior.
