Me and my wife had a great stay at the colors hotel, the staff were very helpful in recommending places to go and see and what to do for the day, the breakfast on a morning was great and again the staff were very friendly and courteous.
The location of the Hotel is ideal for anyone visiting the main attractions, we were able to walk to all of the attractions within 20-30 mins but access to public transport is within easy reach for those not willing to walk 🙂
Thank you again and will highly recommend it to anyone.

Such a great place. The staff is very warm and ready to help with anything. This goes for both the helpful front desk as well as the amazing bar staff. Room was comfy and very clean. The suite I booked had a terrace and a really nice view. Location is great as well. Will be back, thank you!

A boutique hotel very conveniently located to see the major parts of downtown Athens. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and well furnished. If you're looking for a nice place in a good location that's NOT your standard chain hotel, Colors is a great option.

All of the staff who we interacted with were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We arranged transport from the cruise port to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport through the hotel staff and it was an excellent stress-free experience. The room was spacious, clean and in good condition and the air conditioning in the room worked well to keep us cool in the summer heat. The location of the hotel suited our needs well as there are many restaurants, attractions and even a supermarket nearby.

The hotel is cute, breakfast and staff are great. very nice for social media pictures but it was one of the worst places we ever stayed. Location not the best, rooms are not our favorite: restroom has an open concept and after showering, water goes everywhere. Family rooms are smaller than it looks in the picture. The smell in the room is horrible. We stayed 2 nights. Couldn’t sleep the first night, we called someone to check the smell and they said it was a city issue. We changed room but smell was still bad. We didn’t have a good experience. Even if it is a city issue, they need to work on a solution. It was a very unpleasant stay.

It was an OK stay. The staff were very nice but we stayed 4 nights and they only appeared to
Clean the apartment 1 time, and that was in late afternoon when we were there relaxing so they could not come in. I asked twice to please send cleaners and they never arrived. So that was disappointing. If I wanted to clean myself I wouldn’t have stayed at a ‘hotel’ but this was more of an apartment across the street from a hotel. Which also wasn’t clear when I made booking on Expedia.

The apartment at Colors Athens was fantastic. We had a perfect time there. The hotel is slightly away from the main sights but ultimately only a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away. The staff at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, super clean and perfect for a family. Honestly a perfect stay. Highly recommend!

I cannot thank the entire staff for their excellent service, friendly environment and great accommodations. This is our second time in Athens and we didn’t look twice, we reserved the entire stay at Colors Hotel. We kept our luggage in their storage until we returned from the islands after ten days. Location is not bad, 10-15 minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly. The apartment is small, clean but the elevator is super tiny only for 2-3 people at a time. Carry luggage’s up/down the stair was not fun. Absolutely no wifi.

We stayed at Hotel Colors while in Athens for a few days. Every single staff member that we encountered went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We asked for dining suggestions and were even walked by a front desk gentleman to the restaurant and introduced to the owner..what amazing custom service!! They arranged for our transport pans tours we were interested in. I would highly recommend staying there!!!

The staff was super nice and accommodating. Check in wasn't until 3 pm but our rooms were ready when we arrived at 1:30 which was nice after flyingfor 14 hours. They arranged our transport from the airport and to the cruise port. The taxi drivers were very nice also. I will absolutely stay there again next time I visit Athens.

This is our third stay at Colors - you could say we're fans! We were offered an upgrade this time around and stayed in their new flats across the street from the main hotel. These are spacious with full kitchen amenities, a large, comfy sitting room and a well-appointed bathroom. There were two double bedrooms and a small play area for children. This was a very luxurious experience, albeit a different one from staying in the main hotel, where the trendy decor and vibe make it very clear you're on holiday, rather than at your home away from home.

COLORS is a bit of a home away from home, a lovely boutique hotel just outside the centre of Athens that takes good care of its guests. We came for our honeymoon and they were quick to offer a few little perks to make our stay more comfortable, and swapped rooms for us when we asked for a different set up.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special mention to Stefanous, Katerina, and Bjorka, who were absolutely amazing. Stefanous, in particular, gave us fantastic recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable.

The hotel’s location was perfect—convenient, central, and within easy reach of everything we needed. Whether it was sightseeing or dining, we never had to go far.

Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety to start the day right.

Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The warm hospitality and excellent service made our experience unforgettable. We will definitely be returning!

Two BIG highlights. First, very walkable to the sights and restaurants. Not far away. We walked everywhere and felt fine doing so. Big win. Second, the staff really know what hospitality is. All the ladies working at the Front Desk were amazing. There were three that I remembered very well. One with dark hair seemed like a supervisor was especially kind also a blonde lady very small in stature impressed us so much how she took our heavy luggage to the room. I wish I remembered names but we were impressed by all desk agents. Also the gentleman working the breakfast was a scholar and a gentleman. Loved his service and barista skills. This hotel was lovely. Only recommendation is to stack more towels in the room. Otherwise it was perfect.

The property is conveniently located although not in the safest of locations. Streets are extremely dark and desolate at night. No on-site parking. The accommodations were comfortable. Front desk staff not the most helpful. Wifi connectivity was absolutely horrible.

Property is quaint, a bit underwhelming. Shower leaked all over the floor, although the water pressure was decent. Probably the worst WiFi on the planet so don’t plan to get any work done. Had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and management was unwilling to accommodate my request for a refund.

First trip to Athens and this was great for getting around the city. Short walk to underground line. Yes the area is covered in graffiti but so is most of Athens (not unique to this area). Felt very safe walking at night with children. Lots of food options in area, all reasonably priced.

Staff at hotel very friendly and more than happy to help. Room was quirky (in a good way) and good as a base to explore city. Breakfast was delicious, I have rarely had such a good breakfast in a hotel around this price point. Hot and cold options all fresh throughout service.

The location of this boutique hotel is excellent for travelers who prefer to stay away from the hectic main streets or major tourist areas. Many restaurants and bars filled with locals are within walking distance. My room was spacious and equipped with modern amenities. Will certainly consider staying there again next time I am in town.

This area was far more sketchy than the other hotel we stayed in Athens as two women traveling alone. Graffiti on every building and just an unsettling feeling outside the hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful and provided additional bedding so we could use the day bed in the other part of the room.

My friends and I booked room at this location, when check-in, they want to give us a look like apartment across the street, we don't want to so they finally have rooms for us at this location. Generally, the service is excellent.

Location was ok, but out of the way. Room view non existent and it was in a bad state, felt run down. No where to hang wet towels. One receptionist friendly the other not as much. Didn’t feel as modern and new as pictures sold, more like a cheap renovation. No toiletries except one basic body wash. Wouldn’t stay again although was reasonably priced from memory.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed it. The place was clean and perfect for the short stop. The sliding glass doors to the patio didn’t lock so that was a little disconcerting but we were on the fourth floor. The restaurant across the street was fabulous.

First, if you have a big group or family this might be a good option for the cost. The hotel lobby was nice, has a bar and staff is friendly. However we were given an apartment across the hotel which was spacious yet the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the mattress in both rooms were as hard as sleeping on the floor. There was so much noise and construction happening in the building we woke up by 6am, first unable to sleep due to the mattress and then the noise. The location wasn’t ideal for us, it was bit farther from the attractions and restaurants but getting a Uber was easy. There is no phone in the apartment so you’re unable to get in touch with reception if needed.

Nice hotel ruined by a graffiti covered area

Nice hotel ruined by the location. In a very graffiti strewn neighbourhood. If you can look beyond this then it’s fine, lots of coffee shops nearby but the overwhelming enclosed feeling of graffiti everywhere was very disconcerning for us. It made the neighbourhood feel unsafe. There were also riot police patrolling the district every night because apparently anarchists were due to protest.

Also, please be aware that the loft is tiny. Just enough room for 2 people at a squeeze. Certainly not for the claustrophobic.

About 25 mins walk from the centre. Wouldn’t advise for families. Better options in better neighbourhoods.

I really enjoyed my stay at colors hotel. Whilst a little off the beaten track, it was only a 15 minute walk from the city centre and so very convenient for anyone that doesn’t mind a stroll to the centre.
The hotel itself was very unique, such a great vibe in terms of the decoration. Very clean and the staff were so friendly, happy to chat every time we passed the reception area.

Seems newly remodeled, very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of great food nearby, 10-min walk to metro station for easy travel throughout the city. The hop-on, hop-off buses are all at this stop as well (Red Line Omonia). The neighborhood was a little sketchy (seemed about the same as most of the city). Felt safe during daylight hours. Only complaint is the showers flood (no curtain). The food looked great, but most nearby stops will get you a great meal for half price. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Colors Athens. We would highly recommend this hotel. We were welcomed by Kosta who made us fresh lemonade pretty late at night which I thought was so nice. My girls haven’t stopped talking about that lemonade since! Our room was comfortable and clean. The bunk beds were a hit with our kids. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is in an area within walking distance of most places. We will definitely be back.

Really great hotel in central location. Wonderful restaurants and shops a close walk away and a few min walk from the metro. Comfortable beds and pillows and a great shower. The staff here was really incredible, helping us get into a room a bit early after 30 hours of travel. Everyone we met was lovely and we had an absolutely perfect stay. Staff was amazing. Room was great. Only real complaint is the lack of a shower in my room. There was a tub with a handheld shower but it wasn't tall enough to reach my head so showering was a challenge. Also, there was no glass door to prevent water from going all over the place. It was a minor issue. Outside of this, everything was great. Also, note that this is a 4-star hotel by Greek standards so don't go in with U.S. expectations.

This hotel was cozy , clean with courteous staff. We stayed for 3 nights . Staff gave us information about Athens, gave discounted tkts for hop off hop on bus. They arranged our taxi service to the port. Breakfast was good. They always had lemonade at the front desk that guests could have when they came back from tours in that hot weather. Recommend it as it is close to the restaurants and bus stops.

The room was quaint but the staff was absolutely AMAZING! Everyone was super welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I’d stay here again just because of the staff.

We had a great stay at Colors. We had no idea what to expect and everything was just perfect. The area is super cool and close to everything. Our room was clean and very quiet. It was great to sit out front on the patio and have a drink at the end of the day. The staff was really nice. Loved it!

Kind staff

Appreciated kind staff, hot shower, comfortable bed, kettle, frig & in- room safe.

It's a good hike to major sites. Some may be turned off by the working class neighborhood. No international TV worked so no news in English, wifi fluctuated so working remotely from room not possible, room had a strong sewer gas odor, had to call in the middle of the night when heat could not be turned on & no extra blanket was provided in room.

Rooms were clean, however the hotel is far from 4 star. Breakfast was v poor with limited selection. You get what you pay for but there are far better 4 stars to be found.
