Very convenient location, you can go on foot everywhere. The apartment was nice but the pillows very hard and high, totally not comfortable. There was no smaller pillow available. The sponge in the kitchen used before.

We absolutely loved our stay at My Greek Apartments. It wasn’t until we had to relocate to another apartment in a different area of Athens that we truly appreciated just how special our experience had been.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt right. The apartment was cool, spotless, and welcoming after a long day of travel. Every detail seemed thoughtfully prepared, making it easy to settle in and feel at home immediately.

The location turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Being in a university area means the neighborhood has a youthful, energetic atmosphere. It’s lively without feeling overwhelming, with plenty of people around, which gave us a strong sense of comfort and safety. We loved being able to step outside and find so many wonderful restaurants, cafés, and local spots within easy walking distance.

After staying elsewhere, we realized how much we had taken for granted: the convenience of the location, the vibrant community feel, and the comfort of returning each evening to such a clean and well-maintained apartment.

We would happily stay at My Greek Apartments again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to experience Athens. It truly enhanced our visit and became one of those places we looked back on with genuine appreciation.

We stayed at my Greek vacations apartments May 12 - 19th 2026. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the location and access to many of the locations of interest in Athens. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We did find it a little tight for a family of 4 with our daughter sleeping on the convertible chairs/bed in the living area kitchen. A microwave would have been helpful in the kitchen area. Also its important for others to realize it is apartment and you will need to provide your own trash bags, kleenex/tissue paper, etc.. after the initial is provided is utilized. As long as you are aware of these items beforehand, it's a nice, albeit very small place in a nice neighborhood with very friendly support staff that checked in periodically via text to make sure we were satisified.

There were food items and dirty towels left behind by the last guest. We had to wait quite a while for our room to be ready past check in and as mentioned, there were food items left in the refrigerator, a dirty towel left behind as well as some clothing found in the closet. These are minor things. All in all the property itself was very clean and orderly. It is also in a great location. It is also a great value for the location it is in.

Great apartment with a balcony, and comfortable beds and the kitchen and balcony had all we needed. We felt at home. The location was great with shops, mini markets and restaurants within walking distance with excellent food at reasonable prices. Coffee shop with sandwiches and gelato, right at the corner of the property. It was a nice combo of Greek neighborhood feel while being close to attractions. Our flight got delayed 12 hours so we got there at 4am but felt very safe at all times and was able to check in the day so access to property and our apartment was extremely easy and secure. I really appreciated the security system at the property, the hallways and especially in our room and they even had a small elevator. The staff was very responsive which was convenient if you had questions. I would definitely recommend.

I usually bring my own travel adapters, but I found that they had some in the bedside drawer, which is a nice touch if you forget to bring yours, the laundry facilities was good, but some basic instructions on the washing machine and drier would go a long way 😊

Good location, short walk to the metro. The hot water takes a bit to heat up be warned. There were a lot of riot police stationed in the area but I never felt unsafe. Easy to get into the apartment with the codes. The door auto locks but you have to give it a few moments.

When I contacted the host from our cruise ship about check-in instructions, he yelled at me about not having emailed him earlier. I tried to explain I had been traveling without internet. He was NOT helpful! He told me to download WhatsApp and figure it out, which I did. He made a point of telling us we could not check in until 3:00. When we arrived at 3:30, the apartment was wide open and had not been cleaned. It was full of garbage and dirty linen. I message the host through WhatsApp, and he did \"send me pictures.\" Then he said it was an unfortunate situation with the cleaning crew and it would be ready by 5:00. The apartment was cleaned at 5:24. In the meantime, my husband and I spend two hours sitting on a bench. Once we got in, we closed the door and stayed in for the night. The next morning we got up and went out to breakfast. When we returned, the door wouldn't open. Assuming we were doing something wrong, we worked on it for 15 minutes before contacting the host again. He said he would send someone, which he did. That person determined a locksmith needed to be called. We were back waiting on the bench for another 1 1/2 hours before they determined the batteries had been installed upside down in the door lock.

The apartment was in a good location and nice. But our experience there wasn't the best. We understand that things happen, but those things are easier to take when the staff is nice.

Clean comfortable property situated near the Acropolis, Plaka, & funky little cafes, restos & bookstores. Rooms appear to have been renovated, beds are comfy, & the street, though centrally located, is remarkably quiet. Evans kindly arranged our transfer, (at a cost of 48 Euros), which was seamless & helpful. Disappointed to discover we reportedly had not booked a suite with balcony; modest issues with the room we were provided (limited daylight in room & noise from main door below) undermined our stay a bit, but we minimized those issues by getting out to enjoy Athens. Some small tweaks (coffee in rooms, fixing the spring on main door, a guide for guests) would enhance the stay greatly & make this property almost perfect. Overall, a very good stay, & we would seek this out if in Athens again — thank you Evans & My Greek Vacations!!

Perfect apartment for few days base for exploring Athens. Clean, good facilties, comfortable bed. I was working while there and wifi v good. Quiet safe building. Just round corner from ample cafes and bakeries etc. V easy walk to Kolanaki area and elsewhere. I didnt use transport at all, all walkable. Would stay again.

This room was very accommodating. The kitchen was clean and was stocked with everything you’d need including glasses, plate, bowls, everything that you need! Only thing is that it did not have a microwave. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean, spacious and instructions are clear for hot water. The doors have great safety measure around 7 locks for protection that automatically close shut.

The location is very convenient 15-20 min walk from Plaza, Monastiraki, Acropolis sites, great food everywhere in that area, also brunch spots, souvenir spots, nail salons €15 !! Lots of things nearby to do. Loved the stay and the location.

Also communication with the host was easy and was quick with responding to any questions. They kept up to date checked in, making the experience more comfortable.

Overall, beautiful stay.

room was great, the neighbourhood was really good (bourgeois trendy with outstanding restaurants but feels like an Athens neighbourhood, not a tourist neighbourhood), and Evans was super responsive. The locks are number key which wasn't a problem (you may have to key it in a couple of times) and the shower worked fine. No complaints, and would definitely stay there again.

Clean room spacious living area, good location close to many sights. Walking distance to Mt Lycabettus and metro 5-10 mins walk.
Lots of cafes and bars in surrounding areas, recommend the restaurant Yoda for all day dining, good prices and lovely decor.
Evans our host was great always attentive and available for questions and any help needed.
The apartment had everything you would need for a home away from home; fridge kettle cooker/oven. All fitting and fixtures were clean and looked fresh.
Some coffee/tea is provided but would suggest packing your own tea/coffee as difficult to find a store close by that doesn't charge a fortune for a jar of coffee! Or alternatively just jump out across the street to grab a coffee from Enuff Said.
The heating for the shower was not too much of an issue...push the button and by the time you gathered you toiletries and clothes, brushed your teeth etc it would be hot enough for a shower.
The windows have black out shutters, but can also be opened to let in the fresh air which was nice. The street is quiet so no sleep disturbance.
All in all a great place to stay for a visit to Athens.

The place is well located, has been recently renovated and has everything ones need. The communication was good as well.
However, my experience was not perfect.
Some of the instructions were confusing, e.g that the door is 6.0 while the sign on the wall says 6.1 or that the boiler button is on the electricity board, but no hint that the board is hidden in the wardrobe. It's a shame because these are all simple things to sort and are simply making a bad first impression.
Apart from that, there was a very annoying system to open the door. I had to put the code in some of the time 5 times before the door would open. I raised the problem but been told \"this is how it works\" which is not a great reply. It also didn't feel secure that the door to the balcony was not secured.
Other small issues were a lack of bed light and the fact that there were only blinds on the windows, meaning you are either in the dark or all the neighbours see you.
It would have been nice as well if there were some extra towels, toilet papar etc when someone is staying a whole week.
Bottom line, it's a nice place to stay, but some basic adjustments will turn it into excellent and will justify paying the extra cost.

The view was amazing and it was nice not to have to share the balcony. It is located is a busy area the noise didn't really bother us much but it might for others.

We got a nice apartment on the fifth floor with city view. The area was quiet and with some restaurants and mini markets at walking distance. It is a little bit far from the city center so you will need to take a taxi to visit the most popular areas in Athens. Overall we had a good experience except for the issue with the elevator that did not work during our entire stay and the apartment had a plumbing issue with the bathroom sink that we reported but was not fixed.

Location was perfect - walkable distance from most things. Quiet neighborhood and the on property laundry was a complete bonus. This is the perfect location to enhance your visit to Athens. It is small and cozy, has laundry facilities at no charge. It would be nice to know you need coffee pods and there is no microwave. It would be wonderful to have a small sauce pan to make soup. The bed was clean and comfortable. We travel around the world and this would be highly recommended. Great communication.

Convenient location a bit outside the busy areas but still with available local food options. Property was clean and well equipped. Modern and renovated. Great air conditioning units, decent gym and laundry machine which we used. Fridge was a good size and kitchen with bowls and flatware were available. Could have used a few more hooks on the walls for convenience but not a big deal. In room iron and safe were helpful. The door to the apartments have iron clad locks so we felt safe through out the night. The room was very quiet so we slept soundly. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There is a nice ice cream shop downstairs and some local eateries behind the building. There is also a local supermarket one block over which made it super convenient to buy drinks, instant coffee, milk and fruit. A nice residential area to explore. We would stay here again.

The appointment was very clean and walking distance from restaurants and things to do. I wish we had someone in person to talk to instead of chatting. We also wanted more towels and you have to pay for that so we were disappointed about that and no one cleans or takes out the garbage while you’re staying there either. We did request transportation and they took care of that with no issues.

Note that this is not a hotel, cleanings and linen changes are an extra fee. I don't feel that was clear at all in the discription before I booked. It's more of an extended stay type property.

However, the room was clean when I checked in, safe, and the staff are very helpful! Location is good - lots of food and cafes around. A bit of a walk to the Acropolis, but not bad!

The apartment was awesome! It was modern, clean, spacious and well appointed. Marina the host representative was incredibly responsive and friendly. The location was great, 15 min walk from Santagma square. It was a quiet residential neighborhood off the beaten path. Some of the rooms had balconies. Mine didn’t but had two large windows which was great. Highly recommend this property. Next time I’m in Athens it will be my pick! Thank you Marina.

We booked this property back in June based on the reviews. AMAZING LOCATION, gelato shop next door . The neighborhood is about 15-25 minutes walking to Plaka, Syntagma, Montsaraki. So great to see lots of Athens.

The apartments were centrally located, modern and well appointed. Our electronic door panel did not work so we had to use a key from the lock box. At first it was slightly inconvenient but we got use to it and the key was fun.

Overall great stay and would do again but with a bigger 1 bedroom or suite.

We were very happy with our stay! Marina was responsive since our booking months ago and everything went smoothly. Entry to the property was easy given the instructions and the cleaning staff we encountered were friendly and kind despite our arriving slightly before the official check in time. Quiet area , close to amenities and transportation. Easily walkable to all sights. Liked the Red Sparrow coffee shop which opened at 6 am. Apartment was stocked with tea/coffee (lovely after a long , hot day of sightseeing). Appreciated the shampoo/shower gel and hair dryer 😊. Would definitely recommend to others!

A terrific apartment for the three of us and located in a good position to explore the city. We used one of the bus tours to explore the city for two days and the apartment was a short distance to walk to/from the Bus Stop at the National Library of Greece. Highly recommended.

Everything was clean, and it was quiet at night. It even had a place for us to do laundry and work out. I would definitely recommend.

Our stay at My Greek Vacations City Apartments was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was very welcome with temperatures above 33 C, and the staff were very helpful.

Overall, we would stay here again if staying in Athens.

Almost all of Athens has a lot of graffiti, which some call wall art. It unfortunately takes away from the beauty of the city and its friendly people.

Great apartment in Athens! Highly recommend!

Marina was very attentive and proactive during my stay. She was very prompt to answer any of my questions and was reachable by whatsapp whenever I had any queries.

The room was very nice and it was super convenient to have a laundry (free of charge) in the basement as well as the gym. Both of them fully functional and well equipped.

I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Athens! It offers a comfortable and safe stay, ideally located within easy walking distance to attractions and numerous coffee shops. The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was well supplied for basic meals and had enough space to spread out. The balcony was a perfect place to sip a coffee before the day started. While most of the tourist locations were a solid 25-30 minute walk, there was a grocery store and plenty of dining options in the immediate area.

Great place to stay

We stayed in the location twice. Once before our cruise and once after we got off. The apartment was clean and nice. There were several places to eat around the apartment, as well as a market not far. The metro entrance was around a mile walk, to get to. They had a closet you could store your luggage in, if you arrived before check in, which was very helpful. We highly recommend Araxo ice cream right outside of the apartment entrance. They had wonderful ice cream. Overall, we would stay here again.

Location was good but lots of walking needed. Nice Air conditioning and quiet with laundry in basement. Pillows too thick. Recommend they offer coffee and French press. Need to provide more info on how to use cooktop and close blinds. Good value overall!

It was very clean. Water pressure in shower was great. Directions clear on how to turn on water heater. Laundry was free which was very nice, we washed our own towels no problem. Drying took a little longer, but we put the towels on the porch area they definitely will be dry quickly. We had room G.0, which was quiet for the most part other than a little noise in the hall no big deal there. There was a very strong musty/moldy smell from bathroom that Marina replied to and took care of VERY quickly no questions asked. We left the bathroom window cracked which helped and kept the bathroom door closed. Would recommend and stay again! Location was close to lots of things, if you're walking maybe 20 minute walk. Never felt unsafe. Ice cream place next door was very nice as well! :-)
