We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Onrio City. The entire hotel was spotless and the breakfast was amazing. We could not be more complimentary about the staff and the service. The hotel is a little removed from the action; about a 15-20 minute walk to the Plaka district and the sights. But we embraced getting out of the tourist area at the end of the day and exploring the great neighborhood around the Onrio. We tried some fantastic local restaurants suggested by the staff and were able to see the sun set behind the Acropolis just a short walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay her again.

I wish we had more time at this hotel! It’s located in a great area with lots of restaurants and really safe feeling. It’s also walkable to the more touristy areas like monastiraki and Plaka but away from all the crowds and noise. The room was beautiful and with a huge spacious bathroom. The staff and service was amazing - very friendly and welcoming making it feel like home. The complimentary breakfast was also the best we’ve had with options like eggs Benedict and cappuccinos all included! If I come back to Athens I will definitely pick Oniro again!

The staff was friendly. The rooms are lovely and good location to some shopping and sight seeing. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of items and prepared food included in your stay. The hotel was very clean and looks to be newly renovated. Couple great places to eat beside the hotel. Nice rooftop bar at the Marriott a few steps away.

Hotel Oniro City was a great place to stay while exploring Athens. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and chipped in to do whatever might be needed. I had a fantastic experience at Oniro City Hotel. The rooms were the perfect size—well-kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast hostess. She is truly amazing—attentive, quick, always smiling, and effortlessly ensures everyone has a great start to their day.

The front desk staff was equally impressive, responding promptly to messages on the booking app, like Expedia, and always providing helpful service. The hotel’s location is a major plus—it's close to everything! The Parliament, the Acropolis Museum, and city tour buses that can take you anywhere you need to go are all within easy reach.

Just a small heads-up: if you're not used to city noise, it’s best to close the windows before bed for a peaceful night's sleep.

Overall, Oniro City Hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in the city, with wonderful staff and great accommodations. I would definitely return!

The staff was amazing and accommodated our every need! Ioanna and the manager of the breaksfast area took great care of us during our stay. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The included breakfast options were numerous and delicious. The hotel is in an area with lots of shops and small restaurants. The walkability to other areas and attractions was convenient. My only complaints are that the hotel ran out of fresh towels one day and it could be quite noisy at times. All in all, a great place to stay for a short respite in Athens.

We were given a free upgrade from the junior suite to the master suite. The master suite was great with lots of space, a double shower, double sinks, good size beds, good toiletries, a fridge and robes. My only criticisms would be the duvet for the bed wasn’t big enough and there needs to be a door between the living area and bathroom as when my daughter was having a shower we had to go in the bedroom and close the door to give her privacy.

The room and hotel generally were very clean.

Breakfast was really nice though it would be nice to have more options without eggs as my daughter doesn’t like eggs.

This is kind of mixed review as this property could be 10 out of 10…
The pros -
1. Nicely decorated, new room, not enough light though.
2. Walkable also a little far from the main attractions and the return is up hill.
3. Excellent and tasty breakfast
4. Nice staff with a smile.
The cons -
1. No window in the room other than weird window in the bathroom overlooking interior patio.
2. The staff is polite and smiling but not trained as you would expect from hotel stuff to provide a good advice on the area, this is lacking.
3. My legs got bitten by some insect, not sure it’s their fault but it wasn’t pleasant at all.
4. Not soundproof do you can hear everything from the outside and inside. One of the days there was a non stop barking dog…
5. Didn’t like the bed, too small and the mattress not comfortable (I guess this is personal preference).
To summarize- Ok hotel, maybe for younger audience, would try elsewhere next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Oniro City Hotel and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality. We arrived earlier than expected, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure we were comfortable from the moment we stepped in.

The rooms are immaculate, well-equipped, and despite some being a bit smaller, they were still very cozy and comfortable. We also appreciated the breakfast – conveniently scheduled, which was especially helpful for us and our friends with early checkouts. The breakfast spread was of high quality with a great variety of options to choose from.

Lastly, the location couldn’t have been better. We were within walking distance to all the spots we wanted to visit and close to a great shopping area. The neighborhood is safe and perfect for exploring.

Great hotel! Very central and in a good neighborhood. The staff were great. We had walked with luggage from the Metro. It is uphill! We are seniors and it was exhausting. I think a welcome drink should have been offered (we were entitled due to VIP status) it was not mentioned and when I asked, the desk needed to call someone. I was told a coke or Sprite. I asked if I could have water. There was a hesitation so said forget it and we didn’t get our free drink! Not a big issue! The room was amazing and breakfast delightful!

This was our first stay upon arriving in Greece before we commenced our island hopping for 3 weeks. Staff were terrific throught the motel and on review after our four weeks in Greece, Breakfast was the best of all the venues we stayed at. Room was fairly small and comfortable but reasonably expensive as the motel is located in \"Kolonaki\" which is one of the better areas in Athens. Approx. 30 minute walk to Acropolis/Museum, dining and shopping precinct

This property is very unique in design. Small space has been cleverly and artistically redone. However, there is no lobby on common space to speak of. Lighting in our room was dim and for purpose of putting on makeup not bright enough.

Excellent breakfast and staff. They really set the standard.
Some delayed maintenance in the bathrooms that were not addressed during our three day stay. Bathroom is right inside the door to your room. Slippers/robe provided. Comfortable quiet sleep.
Frankie Restaurant is half block up the hill— best Greek Salad in town! Walking distance to the funicular up to Lycabettus Hill. Do not miss the views. Amazing restaurants/bar/history.

We had a fantastic stay at Oniro City. The staff were extremely friendly and were eager to help. We got upgraded upon arrival and the room is was spotless and beautiful. If we are in Athens again I would absolutely stay here again.

Jerry at the front desk was so friendly & helpful at the check in time and when asked for the assistance for a confirmation of certain pre-purchased tour info. The staff in the kitchen was also kind to prepare for the ordered dishes in a quick manner in time for the early morning tour. Thanks much!
