Excellent newer hotel in the heart of Athens, highly recommended!

Be loved everything about us stay here, but the breakfast was the highlight. The views from the ninth floor restaurant where breakfast is served are stunning, directly looking at the Acropolis. The food is well presented and yummy, has huge variety, the staff is well trained, efficient and courteous.

The places quite close to most of the attractions in Athens, easily walkable to the Plaka, Syntagma square, Monastiraki, Ermou street, etc. We took a taxi to the acropolis, that’s a little further away.

This is not a 5 star hotel, more like a very good 3+ star. The spa is very small, although well managed and there is only one restaurant where they have a DJ so can be extremely noisy so we never had a meal there.

The rooms are dark with lights etc controlled electronically by a wall panel which can be very frustrating whilst the air conditioning is switched on by movement in the room, of course there is no movement when you are in bed under sheets so you are woken in a warm stuffy room? Not a very good idea, although it can be bypassed on request.

The general music is not nearly as bad as some have stated and the view from the roof at breakfast fantastic.

What has to be said is the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel! without exception, they are all cheerful, courteous and very professional at all times and their contribution lifts this to a 5 star hotel.
A special mention to Christina – Guest Relations who’s pleasant and professional approach is worth note, thank you. As was the breakfast staff and breakfast supervisor.

First of all WOW!! You walk in and feel the rock and roll elegance. This place is cool. Class all the way. It felt like MOMA and hard rock had a baby. The staff are warm and welcoming. went out of their way to make EVERYTHING happen for you.Our sweet was incredible with an amazing view of acropolis(also seen from rooftop and restaurant)! spacious and all amenities included.

From the check in the staff tried hard to make you buy stuff like spa treatments and wine bottles.
They required pants to enter their restaurants and quite frankly I understand no beach wear, but pants in a beach hotel is to much.
To see the mexican show they required to buy a wine bottle that are marked up 300% at least.
If you are a smoker, get ready to be chased out their property

A very nice hotel in a good location close to the centre and a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis.
The room was comfortable and modern although no view.
Breakfast was good lots of choice although it can be busy and difficult to navigate the buffet.
The roof top pool area is very nice but there is limited space and beds have to be pre reserved.
Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Show stopping views of the Acropolis. Staff dedicated to making your stay perfect, they just went above and beyond for us. Cool modern vibes and walkable to EVERYTHING. The tween and teen loved all the Instagram-worthy locations in the hotel and the lobby robot serving up candy.

Two examples of going above and beyond…
One of the people in our family needed a doctor and a prescription. They had a doctor onsite within the hour and had already called pharmacies nearby to confirm they were open and could fill the prescription.
After an all day sailing excursion, we could not get an Uber or taxi to bring us back. I called the hotel and they had someone to use within the 27 minutes. We had tried for an hour on our own.

I stayed at NYX for about 2 days prior to traveling to Santorini. This location was CLUTH and very walkable to high end shopping. Tons of walkable places to eat and shop. The hotel had a few options to eat from and a small in door and outdoor pool. I was greeted with a welcome gift wine and cheese that i left behind as i didn't want to travel with it on to Santorini. Definitely a hotel to consider if you're in Athens.

Centrally located and walking distance to all major Athens attractions. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. Breakfast is excellent, the rooftop pool is a standout, and the gym is functional. Dinner at the hotel bar was pricey and service was slow with waiters standing and socialising amongst themselves, but overall a highly recommended stay for convenience and style.

The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star review is because I chose this hotel based on proximity to the Acropolis. Turns out it’s not a 10 min walk but more a 20-25. Took about 12 min to get there with a taxi. Otherwise l highly recommended we had a wonderful stay and would definitively choose this hotel again.

Perfect across the board!

This was the best hotel stay I had in my 4 week trip to Europe (and it was kind of a surprise). Wasn’t expecting too much from the hotel when I booked it but it looked nice enough and in my price range. Everything was absolutely perfect in the hotel. The rooms were nice quality, the staff was professional and so kinda and accommodating, and the FOOD! The food in the hotel was some of the best I’ve had on my whole trip! Not to mention the view from the pool!

Excellent hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, and truly heartfelt service from all the staff. You can really feel that guests matter here. From the breakfast area and the rooftop bar, there’s a stunning view of the Acropolis. On Friday night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the bar, accompanied by a singer and two acrobatic dancers - a perfect experience.

The hotel also offers an outdoor pool and an indoor pool at the spa, which includes various treatments. Both pools are not deep, with a maximum depth of 85 cm.

The location is perfect - right in the center near Ermou Street and within walking distance to all the main attractions of central Athens.

Loved everything about this hotel. Stayed twice while in Athens and will definitely stay again. Staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive and always available to help. The buffet breakfast was the best, especially enjoying it on the balcony with a stunning view of the Acropolis. Hotel firmly believes that it’s a hedonistic 24hr party venue with OTT Club music everywhere - however, clients tend to be tourists from various countries, who have probably had the hotel chosen for them. Avoid if you don’t want constant Club music blasted at you.

Unforgettable NYX Experience!

We booked this hotel after doing some research and it was nothing short of superb. The amenities were top notch, but the service stole the show. Our flight home was cancelled during our stay and while we were very stressed, the staff made sure we were taken care of and treated us so kindly.

We were upgraded rooms complimentary, received a mid-stay courtesy call to ensure our staff was enjoyable, and were given incredibly insightful recommendations in the city.

You have to make reservations to use the pools/spa, but it’s free (can do it via WhatsApp or with the staff at the counters). It helps manage the capacity, which honestly was great so that nothing felt overwhelming and we could get chairs.

The buffet breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve had - great mix of classic staples and Greek cuisine. The views were astounding.

Great location as it’s walkable (~10-15 minutes) to practically everything. Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of some of the tourist areas.

Funky interior and really cool design choices. The rooms are modern with digital gauges and it was pristine. The little details like a shoe sponge and pillow selection are thoughtful touches so you can stay how you prefer.

If you can’t tell by the length of this review, I highly recommend this place and if I’m back in Athens, I would stay here again.

Quite possibly the loudest place I’ve ever stayed. The endless stream of motor bikes outside sounds like in bed with you. The top floor pool would be great but it’s basically a night club. This hotel is not meant for kids. It’s small, loud and more suited to single young people. The buffet breakfast is great though.

This hotel is really beautiful inside and out, very modern with cool funky designs and rooms very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the maid service is excellent. The only negative I have is that there are not enough sun loungers at the pool area and there is a booking requirement and minimum spend also. When we booked this hotel one of the main attractions is the lovely rooftop pool but the chances of being able to book a sun lounger are slim! Such a shame that they didn’t make this a priority when designing the hotel. There is also a minimum spend to dine in the restaurant which has lovely views of the Acropolis but surely when you have already chosen and paid enough to stay here they should not be taking further advantage of you. Not the best way to make your customers feel welcome or important.

The location and view of the Acropolis from our room and the rooftop was amazing. I am giving it 4 stars because the air automatically clicks off in your room if there is no movement?? When I am sleeping there is no movement so we woke up hot. I booked 5 rooms for 10 guests. I called downstairs and they over road my system. I asked if they could override the system for my other 4 rooms however, that was not done so they were uncomfortable in their rooms. This should be addressed immediately and never happen in a hotel. There was a key you would leave for power in your room while you were in it it but their system overrode it while in your room.

The room, location, and concierge staff were great and befitting a 5 star hotel. The business lounge and staffing was offensive. Staff was not helpful and had a room monitor presence. For example, if they ran out of one of the standard sodas, there was no offer to get any more unless you asked. Then, you were not allowed to leave the room with an open can of soda. There was no ice in the VIP lounge, but you could leave the lounge and go to the gym to the ice machine to get your own ice. That was in the basement. The other downside was the towel situation. The towels were worn and frayed. Other than these two issues, we really enjoyed the staff, the hotel, the room, and the location.

A nice hotel in a good area.
At the time of our stay at the hotel was very full. We were not blown away with the service. Saying that the service was satisfactory.
There is a rooftop small swimming pool, but during our stay it was almost full which put me off trying it.
There is a restaurant on the top two floors. The food is good. I found the service a bit abrupt and not as friendly as I was hoping for.

Best views of the Acropolis by day or night!

My stay here was simply outstanding. The rooms were modern clean and wonderfully appointed. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic as it’s close to shopping the metro and above all else and easy 45 minute walk to the Acropolis if you’re so inclined. Do not repeat do not miss the restaurant on the top floor as the nighttime views of the Parthenon and the Acropolis are simply not to be missed. There is a great spa and I had a 70 minute massage which was quite enjoyable and a good value for the money I spent. Hotel food was excellent. There’s absolutely nothing to complain about!
