We only had a short stay here but there are a few points that stood out.
The rooftop brekfast was better than great.
Evenings provided a fantastic view at the akropolis. Prices for drinks at the bar seemed high though.
Staff was very helpful organizing shuttle frm and to thr airport which was good as the airport is far to travel with 2 kids

We stayed one night in this centrally located hotel. We walked to the Acropolis Museum and it is in walkable distance to restaurants and shopping. The only complaint we had was that they didn’t replenish the supplies and toiletries in the room, we didn’t even bother asking for them as it was a short stay. Nice Acropolis views from the roof top terrace, and the staff allowed us to check-in early. We certainly considering this hotel for our next Athens visit.

The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and friendly and spoke English well. Excellent location in close proximity to many restaurants and and the popular Plaka shopping area.

This is a city hotel, so comes with the noises of a large city. Pack earplugs if you need quiet to sleep well.

This boutique hotel provides lemonade, water, jelly beans, and cookies in the lobby for its guests.

While rooms are modern and spacious, the bathrooms lack adequate hooks or racks on which to hang towels.

The staff were great and the room was clean but had minor issues that made the room seem worn down but not dirty. The spa was tiny and not in service half the time. I couldn’t use the sauna and hot tub the entire stay because they said it was unavailable but nobody was there every time I checked.

It is an oasis in the middle of a jungle of 8 stories buildings, rooms are a little smaller than I thought but was ok, its clean and staff was very helpful and nice to give directions, there is a little market a few steps from the hotel as well as good restaurants, plus is just a few minutes from the metro station, we walked to everywhere because is the best way to see the good and the bad, we love the Leka.

Room was very small with no chairs in room to sit. Bathroom had glass door which made it impossible to have privacy while doing private business. There was no closet except for a metal pipe on the wall with 2 hangers. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I do not recommend this hotel, terrible service, the web site pictures are not accurate, no front desk personal after 11pm, until next day at 8am.
I did a reservation a year ago ago for a standard Room, and they gave me a room for a handicap, also you can hear all the screaming, and outside noise from the room. Attached you will see a picture of my bathroom room, no hangers on the room.
Run away from this hotel!!!!

HOTEL WAS NICE AND CENTRALLY LOCATED. THE NIGHTLIFE AROUND THE HOTEL WAS PRETTY LOUD AND SOUNDED LIKE THERE WAS A CLUB OUTSIDE OR NEXT DOOR. BUT OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND IT.

Breakfast was the best thing about this property :) lovely , all clean and the young lady who was looking after breakfast area was very kind .
The main problem is NOISE until 5:30 AM ! The noise is coming from the nightclub GATSBY near by . Really impossible to get any sleep !

Overall the room was fine but the staff was beyond unfriendly. They would not smile, not be attentive to needs, and would smirk at you if you could not open the door into the hotel, which was always locked. Unbelievable. The rooms were not very clean but considering the price I understand. Will not recommend this stay to anyone.

Basics first. The hotel is adjacent an afterhours (11pm - 5am) party club and no sound proofing. It was not just loud, it is constant yelling in your face loud. We requested a room change, it took 3 days, and it was a move from 2nd to 5th floor, same location and problem. Worth noting, no electrical outlets in bath so hair dryer has to be used in main rooms. We had 1 chair and footstool and had to ask twice so we could both sit.

The hotel is a great place for those who want to be centrally located to exploring the Greek capital and the archaeological sites. It is 2 blocks to the main pedestrian street Ermou, with many shops and restaurants. Good breakfast and stunning views of the Acropolis from the rooftop. I had an really excellent stay.

We made our reservation as a group of seven. We read the reviews and agreed on this hotel because the buffet breakfast was so good. Five days before our vacation, we were told the hotel was undergoing emergency renovations and that we could get breakfast at the bakery across the street. When we objected, they told us we could go to a sister hotel 10 minutes away. When we checked in on our vacation, we discovered the entire hotel was undergoing renovations. The elevators weren't working, and we experienced internet and power outages. Room cards kept breaking, requiring us to go to reception. We think the hotel is being deliberately marketed while it's undergoing renovations. Our only satisfaction was the hotel's location.

The room makeover was poor. The cleaning and replenishment of cold / hot drinks was omitted, as were a supply of towels and bathroom amenities.
The bedroom could have cleaner, especially underneath and around the bedding area!
Enjoyed the health and spa facility, and roof top terrance, and in general staff were attentive.

The staff was extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming at all times even when I observed dealing with \"difficult\" guests, they maintained professionalism. The room was clean but there was no storage space so we were literally living out of our suitcases for 10 days. There were 6 hangers placed on what looked like a metal sculpture. 2 women, 6 hangers, and 10 days... not convenient but we managed. As some reviews mentioned the rooms were a bit dated but I think it added to the hotel's charm. The breakfast was a small buffet with decent options and the roof top view was beautiful. Given that there is food in every single direction the lack of dining options at the hotel was not a deal breaker.

L’hôtel est bien situé pour être au centre de la vie à Athènes. Cependant, la gentillesse du personnel ne peut pas palier au manque de propreté et de l’insonorisation absente des fenêtres. Il y a des taches sur les buts et de l’accumulation importante de poussière au bas des murs. Des bouchons sont offerts pour dormir tant que les fenêtres ne coupent aucun son extérieur. Nous avions l’impression de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes dans ce quartier très animé.

The room was very clean! And the design of the hotel was beautiful. The rooftop was a highlight and the breakfast was delicious. We ate so much and loved the quality of the food and the coffee. The staff were very friendly and easy to speak to. The only issues we had is that the hotel did not respond to our request for a taxi from the airport, and when we got off the plane and started looking for our taxi , we couldn’t find it. I then realized the hotel never responded to our request. It was also our honeymoon, but the hotel didn’t provide any kind of amenities or anything like that. However, it was still a nice stay, and I would recommend it to a friend. They also gave us free drink tickets for the rooftop bar which was great!

The location is very convenient and close to everything. The room was nice and decent—perhaps a bit more storage/cabinet would be helpful, but overall it was comfortable and met our needs. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond. They even prepared breakfast for us since our flight was very early and we would have missed the regular breakfast service.

We were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Staff were excellent and super friendly. The rooms were quiet enough, couldn't really hear the outside traffic. The view from the hotel is amazing, both day and night. The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel and goes off intermittently, which made the room hot at times. The location was amazing, walking distance to most things. Water pressure on the shower was also amazing. Room size was adequate for what we paid for. Breakfast was decent with some good options.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Athens. Beautiful boutique-style hotel. Their breakfast was more abundant than expected and delicious. And dining on the rooftop with the view of the Acropolis was out of this world. The staff was super, super nice and even helped us out when my adapter stopped working, as I needed it for a medical device. Got us a brand new one. FANTASTIC! We really liked our stay at the Lekka. The location is great and the staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived early after a cruise. Staff allowed us to check in early. Decent breakfast, but most importantly, great nespresso coffee! We also enjoyed the rooftop bar, fantastic sunset views of the Acropolis and great cocktails. I would definitely stay there again, THANK YOU!!!

A simple modern hotel with a nice rooftop bar but that’s it. However my room was terrible, for whatever reason the window faced the lobby & all night I was woken up by noise from staff & guest talking or exiting/entering. I was woken up hourly if not more & I had an early flight so if you plan on getting ANY sleep at night don’t stay here. The shampoo was not refilled in the shower, TV had no remote. I’ve stay in different hotels in Athens every couple months, this was the worse because I NEED a hotel to sleep! Never again!

The Lekka Hotel was nice. The highlight of our stay here was the rooftop view, bar, and the server, Destiny. She was very friendly and great to talk to. We only spent two nights there but weren’t able to get a hold of the front desk for assistance when that was needed. We had reached out to book transportation for both arrival and departure. The arrival transportation was perfect but the departure transportation was never booked so we ended up pivoting and using Uber instead. It all worked out in the end but it would have been helpful if that request that was made was fulfilled. Otherwise, the room was great. The area around the hotel is also nice and definitely lively at night. I personally had no issues falling asleep with the noise but if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll need some sort of white noise.

Our room was on the second floor and facing the street. It was terribly loud, we could not sleep for the 2 nights we were there. You could hear every car passing and the croissant of people were loud and very audible until 430 am. If you can ask for a high floor room and facing away from street.

We found the staff to be excellent- we arrived early and were able to check in earlier than normall. This is a small hotel in a fantastic location. The roof bar / breakfast area is beautiful with views of the Acropolis!

Overall a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the small boutique hotel. It’s designed very well and the staff is very friendly. The views from the rooftop are extraordinary. Our room was above the street. My only bit of advice is, if you’re a light sleeper, make sure that the windows are properly shut or ask for a room on the backside of the hotel.

A really lovely boutique hotel in a great area of Athens. Excellent facilities in the rooms - a full size kettle was a brilliant surprise - and nice to have little treats in reception. The only thing that wasn’t great was there was no bar and that breakfast on the roof is a great idea, unless it’s raining!

Tres bon sejour à l'hôtel Lekka. Le petit dejeuner était très bon et la vue depuis le roof top est incroyable. Petit bémol pour ma chambre, la vue sur le hall d'entrée, ce qui fait que la chambre n'a pas d'aération naturelle, il faudrait peut-être l'indiquer dans le descriptif. Le matelas était également un peu mou pour mon dos. Les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées, on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dans le hall, heureusement que l'hôtel mais à dispositions des bouchons d'oreilles. Gros point positif, les produits nuxe dans la salle de bains et la mise à disposition gratuitement tous les jours de 3 bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo

The staff were very friendly. It can get quite noisy at night. So having a room on the top floor was great. Unfortunately the bar on the roof terrace was not open and make sure you book for the sauna early as it is quite small.
It’s a perfect location to visit Athens.

We stayed here four nights and have not slept for four nights. Rooms facing the streets are extremely noisy. There is a club and lots of bars [next door] that are open till 5am every night, and music is blasting, and people are screaming....till 5 am every single night.... the hotel's solution is to give you an earplug... sorry but not acceptable, this is a 4 star hotel, please do better.
Otherwise everything was great, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, staff is wonderful.

February Sightseeing in Athens

Fab hotel, well placed to take in all the tourist attraction Athens has to offer, with the bonus of having a Spa to help you wind down after a long day exploring! Well within walking distance of fantastic dining options or high end shopping if that’s your thing. We stayed for four nights, ample time to take in the Acropolis and Parthenon, which were 15/20min walk away. Breakfast was of good quality and the complimentary Nespresso coffee was lush! Only slight negative was how ‘active’ this area of the city is all through the night leading to some background noise.
