Unfortunately, the room was very small — and so was the balcony. The biggest downside was the bathroom. There was no ventilation at all, so it was very humid, and unpleasant smells from the drains spread throughout the room. The bathroom door couldn’t be closed because it was broken. When taking a shower, half of the bathroom floor got flooded with water.

On the positive side, the breakfasts were tasty, in a nice Greek style. The location was good, right next to the metro station.

However, the pool looked much bigger in the photos — in reality, it’s very small and shallow, more for dipping your feet than swimming. The jacuzzi is also quite tiny, more like something for a small garden.

The rooftop, though, had a nice view and was a pleasant place to sit in the evening.

Loved this Hotel as I stepped out of the taxi from the Airpot. Metro entrance, Hondos Center, & Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop only steps from the door. Omonoia Square has plenty of places for Coffee, Food, & a store next door for anything you may have forgotten. Friendly Welcome on arrival, too early to check in, bags easily stored & out to explore. My room had everything I needed, including a fridge & kettle. The Staff in the Restaurant, & the Breakfast choices provided, were outstanding. With a choice to sit out on a Balcony & watch the Square below. Star of this Hotel has the be the Roof Top Pool, & Bar/Restaurant area. The views over the City are Superb, & the busy sounds below disappear.

Only downside half the hotel looks over a horrible redundant building and you can’t use the balcony. Shocking view, scary, like something out of a horror movie!

The hotel was ok. Close walk to many things and by close I mean within a couple of kilometres. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy-the usual homeless and addicted. The room faced into a courtyard and the noise of all the surrounding buildings travelled a fair bit. The hotel has a lot of dark colours and furnishings that make it very dark in the room.

The staff at the entrance was very nice and friendly. We had a rough day and even though we only stayed for one night, they gave us a free breakfast. The food was very good and there were a lot of choices in the buffet. Sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The only downside was the noise. It was a saturday and there was a party near. The room has no noise cancellation so you hear everything but the party stopped around midnight and the people were respectful at the hotel. No one talked loud so it wasn’t that bad

This hotel looks nice and well designed at first glance. And the breakfast is phenomenal- lots of local cuisine and done really well! Service is nice too.
But things in our room kept either falling off the walls or breaking, shower drain was an issue, rooms are extremely tight squeeze and not very much surface area.

Booked a city view, however when Sat down on balcony we had a concrete building in front of us, if you stood up you got half city view. ( As per photos)
The decor is dark and lighting terrible in room, found it hard to see.
The rooms are small with terrible lay out, bed at a slant with hardly any room at sides, no room for case. Hanging area above tea and coffee area , no chance of hanging a dress.
The pool is small and shallow, no chance of a swim and sunbeds all full
The positive about hotel, staff were great, breakfast was lovely, everything you could possibly want . Location fantastic,bright next to metro, lots of restaurants shops etc near by

The breakfast buffet was great with a large variance in offerings. Much better than expected. The rooms were smaller than expected but comfortable. The Staff was very helpful, and the only confusion was with service in our 'room'. I think it was because we actually were using 2 room numbers and service initially focused on one of the rooms. The Metro was right outside the doors making it convenient to use and all the the places we wanted to visit were 1-3 stops away and easy to get to. We would use this hotel again for future visits if available. Also, the National Archaeological Museum is one Metro stop away, but I think it is faster to walk from the hotel since it is still a long walk from the closest Metro.

If you like a claustrophobic, overpriced little cell of a room then stay here. Rooms are ridiculously small, are on a weird angle and the corridor is dark and dimly lit. Lift was always dirty/mirror smeared and was overall a very weird place to stay. Rooms also look out to a brick wall.

Location is ok, but you can find better for a better price.

Pool was the best thing the hotel had to offer but closes at 6pm in summer when temperatures/ and the sun are still high after this time.

I’d recommend avoiding this hotel.

Lovely hotel but should be adults only, the pool and roof top isn’t really suitable for children, or adults that want a nice relaxing stay.

The rooms are cute and well designed, but small and you wouldn’t want to stay longer than a couple of nights.

We came here a few years ago under different ownership, back then there was a welcome drink on reception and breakfast was included. Those perks no longer exist which is a shame.

Handy little gym although some of the equipment was broken.

The good - wonderful roof terrace, chilling up there at sundown was wonderful. Very good breakfast. The staff are young and friendly. Great location to explore Athens.
The bad - beds were a bit soft, and internal rooms were very dark due to dark decoration.
The ugly - the cleaning staff were garbage, sometimes they clean your room sometimes not, sometimes empty your bins sometimes not, sometimes change the towels sometimes not. Took our belongings by mistake, make a load of noise at night waking people up.

The best thing in this hotel was Tatiana guest relationship, she was —super helpful and nice.
Unfortunately, the hotel was very disappointing. It had a bad smell and felt very low standard. The room was small, poorly designed, and looked old. The space was cramped and not well laid out. The toilet was dirty—I had to clean it myself.

The rooftop looked much better in the photos. The pool was very shallow, maybe only 70 cm, and there was no shade. The elevators were scary and dirty, and the hallways were also dirty and had a bad odor.

This hotel might be acceptable for people with very low expectations, but overall, it felt dark, unclean, and neglected. The area around the hotel also felt shady and dirty.

The only good things were that it was close to the underground, and the breakfast was decent—but nothing special.

Overall, I was very disappointed.

Amazing short stay for one night

Spent an amazing stay at the hotel!
About 18 hours but totally worth it.
The team was super welcoming and the service was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and the view from the jacuzzi on the rooftop was so perfect.
Teh breakfast was excellent and was a super way to end our stay.

Central and great deal

Hotel is situated in central Athens at Omonia which means you can get around Athens easily. Metro station is directly in front of the hotel. The hotel has a great rooftop pool and bar although it was a bit cold for a swim in November. On arrival we didn’t like our room but were able to upgrade and it was well worth it to have a room overlooking Omonia square. Rooms are small but that is common for city centre hotels. Complementary breakfast was a lovely touch.

Consider other hotels..

The room is very small. There is an italian shower with no door and no proper slope so water runs out of the shower and bathroom. It said view to Omonia square but I had a view to a wall of the building in fornt of me. Everything is black in this hotel, not comfortable for the eye. Make everything looks even smaller. The roof is nice and breakfast was good.

Property itself is great. Rooms are small, but clean and good facilities. Excellent rooftop bar and breakfast options! Main issues were that we requested a twin room, which seemed to have been ignored or not even acknowledged on the booking. So ended up in a very small double. On day 2 housekeeping didn’t change our towels properly or leave us enough toilet roll, then they provided a leaky iron… most of the staff including the concierge were lovely though, would recommend staying here as long as room options work out!

Athens is really hot in the Summer Time, so avoid July to September. Hop on and Hop off buses are all not the same so watch them before you Hop On. Cabs can get expensive so learn to use the Subway. Its less and 100 feet from the Skylarks front door. Hotel rooms are quirkey but the staff being helpful overcame the problems.

Beautiful hotel with a fun rooftop. We spent quite a bit of them on the rooftop pool and bar with Acropolis views. The rooms are beautifully decorated but also unfortunately rather crammed. We booked a junior suite but oddly they gave us two adjoining regular rooms instead. Pros & cons to this arrangement: awesome to have two bathrooms but the king beds are too big for the room size we had to be creative with opening luggage. There are no real closets just some hangers above the fridge. So for a couple with a real suitcase in a regular room it just won’t work. If we want to hang out together in a room we have to lie on the bed. Breakfast buffet has plenty of varieties and are delicious.

We loved the hotel. Its dark inside but that goes with the contemporary style of it and we loved its relaxed but cool vibes. We both had the greek god massage and it was amazing. A bit of an unusual set up for massages (in a room off the gym) but headphones were given so youd never know where your were. Fantastic stay. Every single member of staff we spoke to was lovely and helpful and friendly. We did notice behind the hotel are some streets you wouldnt want to walk down but once you stay in front of the hotel entrance it all felt safe.

The staff are the winning element of this hotel, their service was brilliant. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and thought the sunbeds were really comfortable.
However, the bedrooms were too small and dark. We had an atrium room with a balcony, which I think I paid for, but the view was to the back of the hotel which has awful abandoned buildings. So the balcony could not be used and it felt cramped inside.
The pillows and mattresses were very very hard and the fridge buzzed very loudly at night time. We didn't pay for breakfast included because we like the freedom to go elsewhere, we did go once and it was extortionate! We didn't go back again....
Food in the restaurant at the top was lovely and the barstaff were attentive and super gorgeous with my little girl.
The taxi driver told us the area to the left of the hotel was very unsafe and not to go down that way, so that was a bit uncomfortable with a little one on my own but apart from homelessness and migrants asking for money and food, I didn't feel uneasy at all.
Thank you to the staff, they were fab.

The first thing I would say is be sure to do your research of the area before booking which is the mistake I made, when I got into my cab and the cab drover told me it was an unsafe area I was a little shocked. Obviously that is not the hotels fault, not many great places to eat around, however it is opposite the train station which ks then 3 stops to the acropolis or 30 min walk depending on your fitness, its also a short walk to the museum. The hotel itself is clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, although it was two single beds joined together, for the price I would have expected a proper double or queen, the bathroom floods the shower does not have proper draining, and I tried to get room services all night however no one answered the either of the phone lines. The lift is a bit of a hassle when you are leaving and on one of the lower floors as it was always packed, I had to wait 20 mins and ended up giving up and carrying my suitcase down the stairs. The staff however are very friendly, walked me out to my taxi and carried my suitcase for me. Roughly 45-50 euro to get to airport. I booked this hotel as I saw the photos of the pool, however I wish I did a bit more researxh about the area first.

Unfortunately, we found bed bugs on our second night. The staff didn’t seem surprised and weren’t overly apologetic. They gave us alternative room (smaller & a worse view), we complained and they moved us to a similar room to our original given room. They gave us a bottle of wine & macaroons as an apology, however we have now realised that the bed bugs travelled back to the UK with us. If I could, I never would have booked this hotel and I strongly advise against staying here. The bed bug situation is making me regret the entire trip to Athens.

Gothic design gets a little getting used to. Theres a plaster bird mounted on a wall which is off putting!
Rooms very small with poor views, but clean
Breakfast excellent and included in price.
Rooftop bar excellent with views of the acropolis
Location excellent for getting around central Athens and theres a department store for general shopping next door.
The hotel provides water and a small bottle of prosecco on arrival.
All things considered, excellent value for money.

Worst hotel. Besides the first day with the amazing gentleman, the service was bad. Rooms where super claustrophobic and small. Did laundry with them and they ruined all our clothes. Including asking for extra money because the laundry mat was closed. They sent my laundry to a different laundry mat without my consent, which cost more. They never communicated this with us. They said they called our room but we notified them we weren't there, they had our details yet never called, including email and mobile number. How can a laundry mat be closed when they where meant to be doing it through the hotel? Never staying here again.
Definitely don't recommend this place for anyone to stay. All you see is beggars and a mess outside.
Upstairs rooftop was so crap. I'm so glad I left for a whole day to Zakynthos, staying there for three days would of given me anxiety.

A disappointing experience.

The positives - Friendly and helpful staff and a good buffet breakfast.

The negatives - We booked a \"superior room\" as the standard rooms looked to be a little small. It appears that to provide the additional space of a superior room they just give you 2 interconnecting rooms and remove the bed from one of them. Hence we had 2 bathrooms, 2 fridges, 2 safes etc but no more room between the sides of the bed and the wall. (Friends booked a standard room and commented that it was almost impossible to store their luggage). The decor used in the rooms (black doors, black woodwork, black bathroom furniture and dark colours for other surfaces) makes the room very gloomy. Room service was a little lacking with repeated requests to provide more tea bags and wash used cups going ignored. The in room fridges rattle so much that I started to unplug them before going to bed.

The hotel lifts are probably not fit for purpose. You will wait ages for a lift only to find it full when it arrives, you wait for the next one and then have the over weight alarm go off when other frustrated guests try to force their way in.

The location is \"interesting\". It's reasonably good for seeing the city. However, one wrong turn and you are quickly in homeless junkieville. In fact, do not be surprised to find homeless people sleeping on the pavement just outside of the hotel regardless of the time of day or night.

I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.

Overall an acceptable hotel reasonably close to all the tourist attractions. Rooms are kind of small and dark, with a very different bathroom set-up to that I have ever seen before. Large breakfast buffet was included with was a nice way to start each day. Good choices for everyone's dietary needs. Roof top bar was nice with a good view and service. Pool was nice, but not heated. They have a two person hot tub as well. Area is okay.

Got off to a rocky start at checkin but the breakfast buffet and rooftop pool & bar were probably the best I have ever seen. The view from the roof was amazing. The staff especially Cristo were amazing!

The hotel is conveniently located. The pool was closed so they arranged daily trips to a beach for free - but when you are staying for a day - it's not working for me.

The main photo of the hotel is their rooftop pool which is also why I decided to stay here and it wasn't available.

Arrived at 10:30 and the room was actually delivered at 14:30 which is like 30 minutes after their check-in time. They could have done better.

Made me wait in line to check in to my room and I waited for 35 minutes in line to learn that nothing was ready at around 10:30 am - there are many others checking out and also two rooms complaining about their check-ins.

The hotel looks clean but the lobby is full of flies, even in my room, I had to kill three flies before I settled in. Get a god-damn air curtain for your lobby. This is 2022 and I don't ever remembering killing insects at a hotel.

Even though their check-in time is 14:00 and they did very little to help me get a room earlier than that and they delivered the room at 14:30 - there were no shampoos or showers gels left in their environmentally-friendly cases. If you are so on point doing your best and still deliver the room late, make sure your cleaning ladies actually do a decent job.

Over all their smaller brother Dave did a way better job. They don't deserve to be at this price range.

Best Breakfast in the world

The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast. The check in service there is no allowance to check in even a hour early. Sit and wait. Attitude of front desk is very bad, you work in the hotel you don’t own the hotel. The rooms are very very small and very dark. Maybe it’s the theme. I would stay again for the breakfast which was the best I have had in the world. Options are amazing. The pool is not quiet a pool but ok.

This hotel is perfect for some, not for others. The design can only be described in one word: SEXY. However, it is much more sexy than it is functional. The rooms are beautifully decorated but are so small (standard queen room with balcony for reference) I could just barely open my suitcase. If there were two people the suitcases would have had to stay closed the whole time. This is a party hotel! The rooftop pool and bar has an absolutely incredible view and vibe, but full on techno/trance/house music blasts all day so if you are on a high floor and jetlagged as I was, it was nearly impossible to sleep. The people next door to me came back at 5am and were talking super loud on the balcony, and when I asked them to go inside they did but the walls are so thin I could still easily hear them.

This said, the staff were all absolutely wonderful! The breakfast is incredible! The location is super convenient to all attractions and right next to a metro station. If you are looking for a sexy party late night scene, look no further. If you want a quiet place to rest your head, I'd reconsider booking this hotel.

- les photos des chambres choisies montrent exclusivement des vues avec balcon sur Omonia Square. Nous avons eu une vue sur un mur.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The hotel is located at the second busiest square (Omonia) in Athens, so it can be rather busy there. Yet we couldn’t hear a single noise in our room, and we never felt unsafe. The hotel was very nice, friendly staff, nice architecture. The breakfast is just wow: a lot of variety as well as typical Greed dishes.
Yes it’s true that a standard room is rather small. We were aware of it but it didn’t bother us. The hotel is only a footstep away from the metro station. We can definitely recommend the nearby Attica bakery.

Hotel liegt sehr zentral, damit enden auch schon seine Vorteile.
Das Personal ist unprofessionell. Uns wurde ein winziges Eckzimmer zugeteilt. Und das für Personen! Auf Nachfrage hieß es, wir melden uns bei Ihnen morgen nach 10:00 Uhr... Danach hat sich keiner gemeldet... Am letzten Abend baten wir, ein Taxi für den nächsten Morgen zu bestellen. Als wir um 6:00 da standen, war kein Taxi da, es hieß, der Kollege habe es vergessen!!!!
Ueberteuert! Das Fenster im Zimmer konnte man samt Silikon - Versiegelung bewegen!

Nie wieder!!!

Hotel bem localizado, com atendimento excelente.

Estive com minha esposa em lua de mel entre os dias 3 e 05 de outubro. O hotel é super bem localizado, fácil de chegar de metro do porto de pireu, facil de ir para o aeroporto e para os outros principais pontos de atenas. Recomendo usar transporte público (os taxistas sempre querem cobrar muito por pequenas corridas). O hotel é do lado da estação omonia. O atendimento foi muito gentil, nos deixaram até um bilhete e cortesia de lua de mel. Os quartos embora pequenos, atenderam às nossas necessidades. Recomendo este hotel.
