Property in a great location, close to all the major attractions. This is a busy area that’s loaded with restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping.

Close to the metro and buses.

The bed was.very comfortable, great rainfall shower, excellent water pressure and good ac.

The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were helpful and efficient.

Location, staff and services were great, only issues I had were - could not select cool mode on air conditioning due to the time of year, however my room faced the afternoon sun and was very hot in the room, the other is not able to leave my bags anywhere while waiting for my late transfer pick up, but otherwise great place.

The hotel has only 1 elevators to accommodate for restaurant on 7th floor, and all hotel’s guests. The worst is elevator can take maximum 2 guests at a time. We had to use stair mostly.

The roof top bar ( not affiliated with the hotel) were the worst!!! Absolutely the slowest service, the mostly rude, and an unbelievable ability to avoid patrons!
The roof top has the best view in town!! Unfortunately the worst service we found in Athens!!

Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. The room was spacious with air conditioning, free water, a fridge and toiletries. The shower was very powerful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop bar was amazing with views of the Acropolis and we had a complimentary drink on arrival. This is a great hotel for couples to relax in a lovely location.

Amazing experience. We had to switch hotels just before midnight due to excessive noise at our previous one. The receptionist could see how exhausted we were after such a rough evening and kindly upgraded our room. It made all the difference and truly turned our night around. Their breakfast is amazing too

Worst hotel ever! Very young staff, very standard rooms with only one elevator. No opportunity to put the luggage in the lobby..because there is no lobby.
Won’t come back even free of charge. You better stay away from this hotel!

I had an amazing stay at Athens Utopia Ermou! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to the train station, close to all the major attractions, and surrounded by plenty of dining and shopping options. It made exploring Athens so easy and convenient. One of the best parts was the incredible view of the Acropolis from the top floor — truly breathtaking! With its central location, easy access to transportation, great restaurants, shops, and beautiful views, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Athens. Highly recommend!

I'll start with the good things. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was excellent. The bathroom was clean and modern. It's a small hotel. It has about 5 floors, with 5 or 6 rooms per floor. The reception is just a counter, but the staff was very friendly. It has a small terrace where the restaurant is located, but it was under repair, so we didn't use it. The best thing about the hotel is that it's located on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants near Sygtagma Square.
Now the bad thing: we traveled in March, and it's the cold season, so hotels in Europe don't have air conditioning, and you have to open the window. Because of this, you can hear the noise from the street and the bells of a nearby church. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.
Don't expect a large hotel, and because it's a pedestrian street, the shuttles don't arrive right in front of the door. You have to walk a bit to where the driver can park.

Boy, was I lucky to find this hotel... :)

I have been to Athens many times, over many years, staying in lots of places, ranging from hotels to Airbnbs, But ALL have been in Syntagma Square, as close to Ermou Street as I could get (and afford), because if you have not been to Athens, that is exactly where you want to be. What took me so long to find this hotel? I will absolutely be staying there every time I go to Athens. It's not just the rooms are fantastic - everything you could possibly need for comfort and convenience, not just the rooftop restaurant has a fantastic breakfast, and one of the best open views of the Acropolis, not just the location, walking distance to everything the city offers (including the tram, metro, airport buses, etc.) not just an extremely reasonable price for what you are getting, expecially in that location, but the front desk staff. I can not say enough about them. Our first two days we had Irene and Aggelos, last day, Leon.The level of kindness, efficiency, helpfulness, was beyond what we could have expected. They all went above and beyond to help us in so many ways, and always with a big smile. This will forever be my place in Athens, and I can't wait to return. Hugs to you all.

The staff was so kind and helpful. We were able to check in 4 hours early.
Upon our departure day they ordered a cab for us very early.
They upgraded our 3 rooms to get better views for free.
You get vouchers for a free breakfast and they serve the most delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Picture included!!
We had a wonderful experience.

A great stay in a fun and lively city!

The hotel was well-locared in the center of the Ermou Street shopping district. Always busy and interesting, but not boring or quiet. Central to most everything.

The staff were very attentive and accommodating:gave us the view room we wanted with an early arrival and late departure. Excellent breakfasts on the rooftop, with Acropolis views!

They arranged taxis to and from our cruise ship in Lavrion.

The property was clean and they allowed us to leave our bags when we were early. Our room was lovely. The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices compared to American standards. The only issue that we had was that it was a little expensive for what we got and, the signage is very difficult to see. We had a hard time finding it because the taxi driver had to drop us off relatively far away due to the lack of accessible streets. When we walked to try to find it, the sign was not what we were expecting Perhaps they could give an explanation when booking. I ended up using Google maps walking to find it and it took longer because the sign was so small. When you are going to hotel you expect a pretty large entrance. It’s literally a door like an apartment entrance. Otherwise, very nice stay.

The hotel was in a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. The rooms were clean and generally quiet. The only criticism is that there is only one small elevator, so sometimes you need to wait if there are several people. I wish they would allow guests to access the stairs. Other than that, everything was good.

The property is in a very central location within easy walking distance to all of the central Athens attractions and neighborhoods, including great restaurants and shopping. Also, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We also loved the rooftop restaurant with views of the Acropolis!

While Ermou street is busy and is very active and noisy in the evening (especially on the weekend), we found the rooms to be reasonable quiet. There is no lobby to speak of and the furniture in the rooms is pretty uncomfortable. However, we did not spend a lot of time in the room, so this was just a minor inconvenience.

Great location! Great staff at the front desk! Rooftop business not so much, but it’s an adorable boutique hotel in the middle of all the activities. Loved it!
Taxi however cannot pull up on this street however so get clear directions. And Greece taxi drivers are crooks, use Uber to get your taxi!

Fantastic Location Near Athens Acropolis

Three things stand out about this hotel: location, staff, and comfort of the room. The location is ideal. It is short 7-8 minute walk to the metro which connects to Athens airport. The hotel is close to shopping, transportation, and many restaurant options. It was busy outside the hotel, but it wasn’t loud and night. I am a very sensitive/light sleeper. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Check in was seamless. My room had a small sitting area and a comfortable large bed. The rooftop bar has a spectacular view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. The bar/kitchen opens early and stay open late. The breakfast was quite good and I had a couple of tapas late one night which were also very good. I would definitely stay here again in Athens.

We had a pleasant stay at Athens Utopia. The reception desk staff were amazing. So helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. Beautiful rooftop view of the Parthenon/Acropolis. It is a hidden gem. Look for Kalispera (name of Restaurant) sign. The entrance to the hotel is easy to miss. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Athens.

The hotel is well located within the heart of Athens and within walking distance of many of the attractions. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed the terrace for morning breakfast and evening drinks. The only critique we have is that there was a smell that came from the pipes in the bathroom which is probably a structural issue. Otherwise the room was very nice.

Refrigerator was nice. Offered a welcome drink. The bartender was not so friendly. Bed was comfortable. No closet. But there was a place for hanging clothes. It was just open.

This hotel was a very updated and very clean establishment. The front staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to check in early as my room was ready once I arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was extremely nice. It was one of those rain showerheads and the pressure was amazing considering it was in Europe. Also the views at the rooftop restaurant were spectacular looking at the acropolis. It did get quite noisy at some points throughout the evening because of the location of the hotel on a busy shopping street but you do not hear it inside your room. It is close to a metro station, which makes the location even more desirable. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this location and I would 10 out of 10 recommend and stay at this hotel once I go back to Athens. Thank you staff for an excellent stay!

This hotel is an amazing find right in the heart of everything. 5 minute walk to Syntagma Sq and Plaka. You won’t find a location more centrally located.

The hotel is all new construction, great bed, bathroom, shower, storage and safe. Lots of room to stretch out.

Elevator, rooftop restaurant and bar with a great view of the Acropolis without the crowds. Breakfast was amazing and was included with my room.

I recommend it so much that I already booked another stay for my return.

We stayed at Athens Utopia Ermou for 3 nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and clean and a descent size. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The only issue during our stay was that the lift stopped working on several occasions meaning we had to use the stairs. Thankfully on our check out day the lift was working and we didn’t have to carry heavy luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Also note our room had beams blocking the window in the room that obstructed the view, keep that in mind if a view is important. In saying that the view on the rooftop bar where breakfast was served was magnificent!! Great view of the Acropolis.

Small hotel in the middle of it all! Such a great location that is walkable to all the great points of interest. Rooftop breakfast spot had amazing views of the acropolis and the food and coffee was excellent! Staff service quality was good as well. Just note that there is no lobby for sitting and only one elevator. Room was comfortable with nice shower and bed.
