The room was made up every day. The bartenders were very professional and extremely friendly. The hall carpet is already showing wear after 3 years. The hallways are dark. We only had lunch and the food choices were good. The ice machine on our floor was not working(8th floor). The pool towels were skimpy. The heated pool was nice and warm with the air being cool. It was close to many restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a very weird hotel. Apparently it is designed as a short stay hotel, so there are no drawers or closets, just a long, useless bench in the room. Why would you build a short stay hotel in a resort? Also, the rugs in the hallways are disgusting for a fairly new hotel. It seems like management is on a very low budget. They don't refresh the coffee or the soap or the water. And the water takes forever to get hot. Very last century. When I didnt get room service, the woman told me they were sold out. What does that have to do with me? There are better properties in the neighborhood for a better price.

The AC Clearwater is managed far below Marriott’s standards…Dog barking next door for an hour+ early Saturday morning (front desk did nothing), soap dispenser in shower empty, coffee pods not replenished by housekeeping (“we’ll send it up right away” took almost 2 hours)…”Valet Parking” on my Bill (I drove an uber.) I’m a Bonvoy fan, just not the AC Clearwater.

The location is outstanding. Hotel was very clean and modern. We had to ask three times to have our room cleaned out last day. We didn’t have any towels. Also, the rooftop bar and pool bar are not well staffed or stocked. The hours were not consistent and very very basic. Bartender did not know how to make hardly any drinks. Very disappointing when on a vacation.

Went during spring break and they were definitely understaffed. Marriott management should find a way to shift staff to help busy locations during peak travel. Staff get was there definitely tried to make best of situation.

The view was great from our room. We could see the pool and the beach, even though the hotel is across from the beach. Pool was clean and staff were friendly.
We stayed at the beginning of the week so we did not realize the rooftop bar would not be open until the weekend. The valet team did an excellent job. Never waited for our vehicle.overall good choice!!

The pool was beautiful. The valet service was excellent and valet staff were friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were okay but did not go above to accommodate and communicate. Our room was cleaned only twice in six days,, there was no communication that this would happen. Breakfast was a disaster and expensive, the bar was out of many mixes and poorly run. I did like the location and I would stay there again.

The hotel is located a block from the beach so it was a super easy walk. Great location. Clearwater was bustling for spring break. The pool was nice, on the 5th floor, but the seating around the pool was limited. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very modern. Breakfast was very good too.The only thing I didn't like was that there was a sliding glass door as the bathroom door, so I felt privacy was compromised. Shower was awesome, you had a choice of rain shower or regular. We also were hoping that we would get beach chairs included with our stay.

The focus of this property is the lobby and amenities the rooms do not reflect the price point they charge per night. The worst part are the mattresses I have stayed at cheaper hotels that atleast invested in quality bedding.

I would rather stay at a motel than rebook here that's how underwhelming the experience was.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. We booked two queen beds for 6 days but were told upon arrival that they did not have two queens available for our first night. They did comp us a free breakfast the next morning for our inconvenience. Breakfast is not free but it is top notch! I also like that there is an on site restaurant ..

Room was clean and spacious, beds very comfortable, huge comfy pillows. There’s a nice long bench the length of the wall that greatly assists with managing suitcases; plenty of space for 3 people. It was nice to have Starbucks coffee and water available in the lobby at all times. Nice view from window. Excellent location across the street from the beach. Staff were friendly and very responsive to our requests. Blow dryer was broken, but was quickly replaced with a brand new one. Only downside was the heating/cooling system was a bit noisy at night, so bring earplugs if a light sleeper.

The room didn’t have enough storage places to put our cloths. The shower was awful and not enough places to hang towels especially since you need to reuse them. I was not made aware of the cost of valet so that was a surprise.the staff was ok at front desk but not particularly helpful. The hotel is dated. The staff at bar restaurant were great.

Room was not clean. Found several hairs on the shower wall and around the bathroom. Denied late checkout even through we are a Marriott member even though we ask for half hour. There is nothing close to this hotel too. Restaurants are several blocks away. Not worth the price they are charging. Will not stay here again.

The staff was great, but the valet parking situation was a bit confusing as I was originally told it was valet parking only, then later told I could have parked my car myself for a lower daily fee. If the parking fees could be made clearer, this would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the AC Hotel after an awful experience at the motel (disguised as a hotel on their online listing) across the street and MAN was it a breath of fresh air!
We checked in on a Sunday. The nice young man at reception was so kind and even upgraded us to a room with a view. I think his name as Elijah.
The first day we were there, we noticed the TV remote didn’t work. We let them know at the reception on the way out and they had it replaced by the time we got back.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the toiletries were Korres and smelled amazing! The shower water pressure was great and the views were refreshing.
I rated this 4 stars because there were a few minor issues that I feel guilty even mentioning because we really did enjoy our stay and appreciated the hospitality. I’m hoping my review gets in the right hands to get these little hiccups handled.
When we noticed the remote was not working, we tried to call the front desk from the phone in our room and it didn’t work. There was an extension listed on the phone for the front desk, but it just went to a busy signal. Later in the day, my husband ran up to the room to grab something while I stayed in the car with our sleeping toddler and I noticed that he left his phone in the car. I tried to call the hotel in order to ring the room and there wasn’t an option to get ahold of reception (or the hotel at all. Only a reservation line). I did notice on the automated message said this was a “brand new” hotel, s

Staff was a rude (front desk) about a late checkout. First-time traveler and didn't know checkout was 11am so I had to pay a charge which is no big deal to me so I'd like to remind the staff to not make it a big deal next time. If your "cleaning staff" were truly so eager to go and clean our room a phone call to me would've been made to my cell. Don't mistake ignorance for malice... Also had to book an xtra night and was told it was the same room I already had and when we got there it was not even after triple checking with staff so that that exact situation would not happen but yet still did. Of you have a vehicle the parking is 38$ a night. There is no affordable ivernight parking anywhere in the area. This was my only gtipe about the hotel. Everything else was beautiful and I would stay again.

The manager uovraded my room as a bonvoy member which was great.

The lavender satchels that yoy can fill uo was such a beautiful touch!

We checked in on a Friday for 4 nights and had no room service during our stay. We had to ask for towels each night. Complained about the water pressure in the shower and nothing was done. Not what you would expect from a Marriott.

Daily housekeeping was nice - just had to request service around our schedule. Bartenders were great - Georgia stands out the most, the drinks she created with the pineapple vodka need to be put on the menu. The inconsistencies of the bar openings could have been better but not anything major. I personally found the bar menu "lacking" and a 9pm kitchen closing to be disappointing - but that could be a seasonal thing. The location felt commercial, the walk to the beach or local restaurants, albeit short was past empty lots and loading docks of neighboring hotels. The biggest issue i had was the crews dredging the sewage lines in the area made it hard to walk around or sit outside at the bars due to the smell - no fault on the hotel, just my luck.

Breakfast was awful, and a scam! Food was stale and poor quality, selection quite limited. Unsure why it’s marketed as “European Breakfast”. The woman working the breakfast area was terribly rude! She threw the plate at us when delivering, unacceptable! The beds were very uncomfortable, rooms dusty, volume on tv not working properly. Overall I was very disappointed, I will not recommend to friends or family!
