Our family had a wonderful 4-night stay at this well kept hotel. The apartment was spacious, very clean, had nice amenities, and the hotel is conveniently located just steps from the beach. We recommend and would be happy to stay there again.

Gym was well equipped and spacious, rooms were clean, kitchenette had all the things you would need, staff was super friendly and accommodating, and they have beach stuff that you can check out for free which was such a nice surprise. Plus the location is minutes from the beach with a rooftop view you can’t beat!

Overall, this is a great property with a lot going for it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooftop bar was a really nice bonus—great atmosphere and a perfect place to unwind.
That said, I’m not sure how the property is marketed as a true two-bedroom. One of the rooms does not have a closet, which made it challenging for a family of four, especially with two teenage girls and limited space for clothing and belongings.
The unit does have a bath and a half, which can work well if you’re comfortable with teens essentially taking over the primary bathroom for showers and getting ready. Once we adjusted to that setup, it was manageable.
If you’re aware of the layout going in and don’t need traditional bedroom storage, this can be a great stay. Just something families should know when booking.

We really enjoyed our visit. The beachfront 3 bedroom apartment was great for our family. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Not a deal breaker but only one room in the front had a view, the other two rooms were windowless. Staff were friendly and responsive.
Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors, that’s the reason I’m not giving full five stars.

We couldn't get fixed. By time maintenance got fixed, we had to check out. TO credit, they mailed our laundry to us, but we needed it the for the next 3 days of our vacaction, and didn't have it available.

Ecesivamente extrictos con la limpiesa demasiado olor a cloro cuando solisite limpiar mi abitasion me dijeron que no se podia por que debia solisitarlo el dia anterior les mensione que solo queria aspiradora y que recogieran la basura se negaron nunca hubo una flexibilidad con el cliente cuando uno va a bacasional , me se relaja y deconecta lo menos que piensa es que debes de avisar el dia antes , tambien cobraron cargos que no aparecen en los detalles de la propiedad cuando buscas informacion antes de haser la reserva como el parqueo y que si encuentran una colilla de sigarro te cobran 300 dolares y puede varian hasta mas dinero, la viata que promeeten del balcon al oceano es limitada por otro hotel que queda alfrente , las acesibilidades como food store quedan distantes debes de usar carro , no existe una comunicacion de hasia el cliente como si fuera ayudarte en cualquiera de los casos , yo no recomiendo esta propiedad para bacasional si lo que deseas es una unidad militar con demasiadas restriciones y farta de ayuda de parte del teen de manager y sus trabajadores del front desk entonses estas en el hotel correcto

Overall the property was clean; however, it was a great disappointment to see the street light with wires as an ocean view literally right outside your balcony. I also didn’t appreciate upon greeting the staff stressed about the fees instead of stressing what is already included, such as the beach chairs, umbrella etc…

Resort and room were very clean. On the beach a huge bonus. Staff extremely friendly. Downsides: The phrase \"Total includes taxes and fees\" is not correct. Was hit with a resort and parking fee after booking. Unacceptable. Include them in final price or show \"additional fees\" prior to booking. Rooftop bar closes too early. Fitness center closes too early. Photo on website shows beautiful Adirondack chairs but resort gave out used/dirty beach chairs. Free towels were also quite harsh. Glad we brought our own.

The people were really nice. I wish Travelocity would've made it more clear that I was not going to get room cleaning and and that you stuck. Yes they said a side view to the ocean, but it was pretty poor. Hard to believe they would even say that that's what you get when you're really, just staring at another building.

My stay at the Avalon was great! The staff was really nice and always asked if we needed anything. The room was so nice! It had everything we needed for our stay. Pots, pans, silverware, cup, plates everything. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Clearwater.

Nice. On the beach. Provided chairs, toys, and umbrellas for the beach daily. Perfect for families. Only con is there are no guest showers and late check outs are not avaliable. If you want to visit the beach on your last day there is no where for you to shower and change before heading to the airport. Our entire family of six was cramed into the second floor restroom with our luggage changing clothes. The floor was full of sand when we entered the restroom so it seems like everyone does the same thing. Would I stay there again ? Yes.

Place was very clean loved how large it was and was in a great location, could walk to everything The only negative thing was the pool seemed to be pictured different on the website and was very small and the rooftop bar really cannot be called a bar. They were out of most of the beers didn’t sell liquor and really was not a bar at all.

it was great! we loved the whole stay - the only thing that kinda was a downfall was that the view we had - had a telephone pole with wires right in the way of the view - so in the future - i would be sure to ask for one that didn’t have that.

You can walk to different restaurants. The only bad thing is that the bed in the master bedroom was not in good condition and the metal base was broken. I had to move to another room within the same unit.

We all loved it a lot. There was 10 of us. So new so clean….The only thing I just wish the outdoor pool was bigger … the staff was great Karen, at the front desk was so helpful so nice and got right on top of things. The bartender was fun too at the pool area.

This place was great besides our view… it was of a brick wall, I don’t recommend 305. I thought it was going to be a street view not a brick wall, besides that everything else was great. No air flowing on that balcony.

The place was very clean and well maintained. Beach chairs and umbrellas available at no additional cost. Staff was extremely friendly. Lost of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Beach access was right behind the facility. One downfall is that we could not have a later check out time than 11am. Our flights leader later which left us at the airport for 3.5 hours.

The property was really nice! I stood in a 2 bedroom and the ocean view was spectacular. There was always someone available if I needed anything and it was a jump, skip and hop away from the beach. Everything is within walking distance of the property. Gas station was right around the corner and a cute park across the street if you have little kiddies. I would stay in this property again and very soon :)

My friend and I absolutely loved The Avalon Club. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The location was great. You could walk to just about anywhere and was right on the beach. They have chairs, towels, toys and pool noodles for guests to use. The staff was also wonderful and very friendly. Will definitely be staying again.

My stay at the Avalon was horrible. They put me in a room looking at someone riif and a parking lot. There was banging and grinding ans sawing all day long . This was one on my worse vacation. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

Certainly a nice large, extremely clean room. We love the rooftop bar.We had a balcony, but it wasn’t connected to our room. We had to go all the way down the hall to get to the balcony and it wasn’t private other people could access it. Overall, it was nice, but it was not worth the cost.

The Avalon Club resort was such a wonderful place to stay. The suite we stayed at was so spacious, clean , smelled so good and the views were spectacular. They provided beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for us to use for free. It took us a few steps to get to the beach with powdery , fine sand. After the beach, we had time to play pickleball which was just crossing the street. Avalon even had pickleball sets to use for a minimal fee. They had covered parking which was a bonus. There was Frenchy’s restaurant a few feet away where we saw the beautiful sunset while eating very good seafood.
Most impressive about the Avalon were the staff especially Ernesto and Karen, who were very friendly, and responded promptly to our needs and questions. We left a computer charger, and they had to inform us once their cleaner came. Very honest staff.
Overall, we decided that once we get some time to go on a trip again, we would definitely come back to Avalon and perhaps book Room 504 again.

Resort fee and a parking with tax add an additional $100 a day to your coat and feel like a cash grab.

We enjoyed our stay. It was more of a condo than an hotel. Our place was spacious, clean and super close to the beach. They had chairs and umbrellas you could check out at the front desk and take with you to the beach. We enjoyed the views from the rooftop bar. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely place! We would love to return to this resort for longer next time…super clean, newer resort with very friendly staff! Great views. Definitely a less busy area (which we loved) but a short walk to all the action. The provided chairs for the beach are a huge perk. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
