I was really disappointed with my stay. The room wasn’t clean when we arrived — there was visible dirt and dust throughout the bathroom and front door; and the air conditioner had filthy vents just sitting on top of the unit. The toilet ran all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, we were surprised by destination fees that weren’t mentioned until check-in. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. If it wasn’t for the location of the hotel being so close to the beach and other places we visited, I would have left 1 star. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are made.

Good location. On the bay side. Breakfast good but service very slow. They have a very small kitchen behind the bar area. Could only make 1 maybe 2 plates at a time. 45 minutes wait until served. Parking is $35 every night. They did allow me to plug in my EV. 110v Staff was great.

I like the place it was clean little pricey, but it was a Saturday on Clearwater Beach so what do you expect? Staff was super cool. room had a fun view. It was nice. I liked it. Fun place to stay if you decide last minute to stay in town but book early in the day. We checked in around four and the whole hotel was booked out by 8P. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a shower door and water got everywhere. For me personally I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t get the breakfast sandwich for my free breakfast option. For 20 bucks for two people it wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was nice that the lady at the counter cooked my eggs to order, she was very friendly too. Those are pretty much the only cons. I would stay here again if I was in town, preferably not on a weekend.

Location is great! The staff were wonderful. Did a great job accommodating my parent’s anniversary. Room was very spacious & clean. The price of the stay was pretty reasonable, a little more pricey than I’d liked it to be, but still reasonable. Good stay overall.

I was not impressed at all. I was very disappointed. The room was not ready when we got there at 4. We sat there a half hour and it still was not ready. They ended up giving us a different room which was OK. When we finally got to the room the keys did not work. We had to go back down and get that fixed. When we got in the room and got settled we realized there were only hand towels. We went back down and proceeded to wait twenty minutes while both counters were being monopolize by one family. Apparently they must have been VIP members. Other disappointments were the parking was mandatory valet at an additional $38. We did try the pizza restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was exceptional. Apparently guests receive a free dessert but we were told our dessert was not part of the offer. Would have been nice to be told this beforehand. I will definitely not be returning to this hotel when there are so many better options. I thought the Marriott would have been a reputable name .I qill stick with Hilton.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. We were there during the week and it was a quiet hotel. The Bistro cafe was on-site and had hot breakfasts for an additional fee that could be added to the room fee we had breakfasts there 3 days. The pool, fitness center, and laundry facilities were great. There was an outdoor bar on the 8th floor. Flipside pizza was connected to the hotel where we could eat. The beach was 2 blocks away and we could walk to restaurants, shops and boat tours. The trolley stop was 2 blocks away as well.

There is no free breakfast. They offer a 20$ food and drink credit per day. They charge a 30$ resort fee and parking is 38$ per day.
Property is a great location and very clean. Great views and staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Convenient location two blocks from the beach, We were able to park the car and leave it for the time of our stay as everything was very convenient. At check in we were told that they offer every day room service and we were not even given clean towels-we had to go ask housekeeping for clean towels.
Staff in early am departure could not run us a reciept as I had questions about some billing charges.

My daughter and I went here for spring break and I have traveled to this area quite often and this hotel was not the best. The \"resort\" fee is ridiculous considering there were no pool towels for the first two days, no chairs available by the pool. I guess they allow people to put towels on them in the morning even though no people were using them until later afternoon which was a bummer. They turned the water off from 3-5pm with no advanced warning. The staff were inconsistent in what they charged for parking and amenities. Not overly helpful and seemed to have attitudes when asking questions. The only positive was the rooftop bar and bartender Lou was awesome. Just very disappointed in the hotel and will not be staying here again. I would not recommend it for the price spent.

The front desk clerk provided exceptional service and even gave us information of the hotel amenities. But the staff in the bistro and bar that served was rude and provided bad service, I originally paid for 3 adults and 1 child but when it was time to get breakfast they only let us get 2 kids breakfast and 2 adult breakfast. The room itself was clean but the shampoo and conditioner bottles were full of water and no product. I had a problem with the shower handle because it got stuck but the maintenance guy was very kind and respectful.

Great hotel option. Close to everything, but far enough removed that wasn’t in the fray. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Staff was excellent. So friendly and attentive. Answered all my questions with a smile and super helpful. Loved the breakfast and the view of the beach and the bay.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Clearwater Beach. While there were several highlights regarding the service and location, the physical room conditions and apparent staffing shortages made for a mixed experience.

You truly cannot beat the location of this hotel. It’s right in the heart of everything.

Check-in was a breeze. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful with our departure—they granted us a 1:00 PM late check-out and securely held our bags so we could enjoy the area before our flight.

A huge shoutout to the valet team for providing us with beach chairs and an umbrella left by previous guests. It was a thoughtful touch that saved us time and money.

The room layout felt oddly designed and lacked functionality. Specifically, there weren’t nearly enough drawers for our clothing. Also, my bed was broken upon arrival; while maintenance did come to fix it, it’s not something you expect to deal with on vacation.

It felt like the property was significantly understaffed. We didn't receive housekeeping until the third day of our trip, and only after we specifically asked for it. Until then, we had to manually hand off our trash to staff and hunt down fresh towels. The pool area was consistently out of towels. Every time we wanted to swim, we had to track someone down to request them.

The staff members themselves are doing their best and are very accommodating, but I’d expect more from a Marriott. Again, great location but the hotel itself was average.

Do not book with Expedia!! Book directly through the hotels website. We booked this hotel for a Saturday through Sunday and when we arrived at the hotel around 8pm they had told us we’re sorry we overbooked and you don’t have a room! They were kind enough to book a hotel 45 minutes further south and further from our home. No communication sent to us prior of our arrival! No phone call, no email, no text. When I initially contacted corporate Marriott they had passed the buck to Expedia and unfortunately this is what happens when we don’t book directly with the source. When I contacted Expedia they passed the buck back to Marriott and offered me a $25 credit. I was insulted! $25 doesn’t even get you a 1/4 tank of gas these days.

Room I had reserved was not available when I tried to check in at 11:30 pm in a Friday night. The two front desk people did everything they could to find us a rooms with two beds but it just wasn’t doable. They did however make sure that the right room was cleaned first thing in the morning and ready for me to switch. I can honestly say that the rest of the staff were every bit as pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. They are perfect for the hospitality business.

The property was a block from the beach shops and restaurants. Enjoyed having my breakfast by the pool every morning. Would definitely return.

Only minor gripe was that we were out of the room for most of the day twice and it hadn’t been made up when we got back. Just asked for clean towels and washcloths on those days and they were very responsive.

The room was spacious and clean!! It was too chilly to utilize the pool or rooftop bar but both looked inviting! Location was great, easy walk to shops and restaurants. The flip side pizza was convenient and delicious- great vibe and the staff were fun!
Our last morning we wanted to get breakfast nearby and they were easy to allow us a later checkout!!
If I return to the area I would definitely stay at this hotel again

We were not told of the $38 per day mandatory valet parking charge. After the first night, I told the front desk (and gave them a note in writing) that the light by our fridge, microwave was not working and asked them to fix it - they never did. This was a 4 night stay. Although the room was \"straightened\" every day, some days it was after 5pm. I was told they did the \"checkouts\" first and got to all rooms before 6pm.

The street/garage entrance to a sterile vestibule with nothing but elevators up to the main decorated lobby on the 4th floor was a bit of an odd set-up but the valet team and check-in staff were super-friendly. Great New Year's Eve party and views of the fireworks from the rooftop.

I do wish there was more clarity about what \"breakfast included\" entails when part of your booking. We were told upon check-in that anything on the limited breakfast menu (up to $20) and a regular drip coffee were included (lattes/espressos and specialty coffees were extra). For the first 3 mornings, the cafe staff were all very friendly and provided the breakfast as described. On the 4th and final morning, a pretty unfriendly woman behind the cafe counter argued that black drip coffee was NOT included and I would need to pay for it. When I explained that was contrary to what I was told at check-in and what had been provided the previous 3 mornings, she did eventually relent but was still quite argumentative and abrasive about it saying that everyone else was wrong. After ordering, I walked across the lobby to talk to the front desk staff about the interaction and while they were very friendly and apologetic for her behavior, they also admitted that they weren't even 100% clear on what the full \"breakfast included\" rules were. In the end, not a huge deal but just kind of left a bad taste on the final morning after an otherwise pretty good stay.

This was a nice place. Great location. Be aware it’s valet parking only, that has a daily rate. I had a room with a balcony which was nice and really close to the beach, like 2-3 minute walk. Only bad part was some stains on the bathroom tile but it was under the sink area

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were disappointed with several aspects of our experience.

It seems the hotel may be understaffed during the off-season, which negatively impacted the overall service and guest experience.

While the rooms are spacious, they clearly need better maintenance. Several items were not functioning properly, including some lights, the iron, and the bathtub faucet. Additionally, there was no full-length mirror and no convenient place to hang bath towels, which was inconvenient.

The valet service is extremely expensive and very slow. Even on a regular day, we had to wait over 10 minutes to receive our car.

Breakfast service was by far the most frustrating part of our stay. Ordering two breakfast sandwiches took more than 30 minutes. We had breakfast twice during our stay, and this was easily the slowest breakfast service I’ve ever experienced.

Considering the high room rates, I would not recommend this hotel. There are likely better options available in the same price range.

We had a wonderful stay and the most of the front staff were suburb. However the last night there of the 7 days we stayed. My 5 year old with some special needs ran in the hallway, its 745pm, and a white man who worked there but we hadnt seen the whole time, came up to us and was very rude and ignorant.
