Do not book with Expedia!! Book directly through the hotels website. We booked this hotel for a Saturday through Sunday and when we arrived at the hotel around 8pm they had told us we’re sorry we overbooked and you don’t have a room! They were kind enough to book a hotel 45 minutes further south and further from our home. No communication sent to us prior of our arrival! No phone call, no email, no text. When I initially contacted corporate Marriott they had passed the buck to Expedia and unfortunately this is what happens when we don’t book directly with the source. When I contacted Expedia they passed the buck back to Marriott and offered me a $25 credit. I was insulted! $25 doesn’t even get you a 1/4 tank of gas these days.

Room I had reserved was not available when I tried to check in at 11:30 pm in a Friday night. The two front desk people did everything they could to find us a rooms with two beds but it just wasn’t doable. They did however make sure that the right room was cleaned first thing in the morning and ready for me to switch. I can honestly say that the rest of the staff were every bit as pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. They are perfect for the hospitality business.

The property was a block from the beach shops and restaurants. Enjoyed having my breakfast by the pool every morning. Would definitely return.

Only minor gripe was that we were out of the room for most of the day twice and it hadn’t been made up when we got back. Just asked for clean towels and washcloths on those days and they were very responsive.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We had a delayed flight and got in after midnight and they were so kind and still energetic
The room was spacious and clean!! It was too chilly to utilize the pool or rooftop bar but both looked inviting! Location was great, easy walk to shops and restaurants. The flip side pizza was convenient and delicious- great vibe and the staff were fun!
Our last morning we wanted to get breakfast nearby and they were easy to allow us a later checkout!!
If I return to the area I would definitely stay at this hotel again

We were not told of the $38 per day mandatory valet parking charge. After the first night, I told the front desk (and gave them a note in writing) that the light by our fridge, microwave was not working and asked them to fix it - they never did. This was a 4 night stay. Although the room was \"straightened\" every day, some days it was after 5pm. I was told they did the \"checkouts\" first and got to all rooms before 6pm.

Room and hotel were clean and nicely appointed. The street/garage entrance to a sterile vestibule with nothing but elevators up to the main decorated lobby on the 4th floor was a bit of an odd set-up but the valet team and check-in staff were super-friendly. Great New Year's Eve party and views of the fireworks from the rooftop.

I do wish there was more clarity about what \"breakfast included\" entails when part of your booking. We were told upon check-in that anything on the limited breakfast menu (up to $20) and a regular drip coffee were included (lattes/espressos and specialty coffees were extra). For the first 3 mornings, the cafe staff were all very friendly and provided the breakfast as described. On the 4th and final morning, a pretty unfriendly woman behind the cafe counter argued that black drip coffee was NOT included and I would need to pay for it. When I explained that was contrary to what I was told at check-in and what had been provided the previous 3 mornings, she did eventually relent but was still quite argumentative and abrasive about it saying that everyone else was wrong. After ordering, I walked across the lobby to talk to the front desk staff about the interaction and while they were very friendly and apologetic for her behavior, they also admitted that they weren't even 100% clear on what the full \"breakfast included\" rules were. In the end, not a huge deal but just kind of left a bad taste on the final morning after an otherwise pretty good stay.

There was only one person working the front desk. It took a long time to check in. No dresser for our clothes, bad view from the patio, $38 a day for a valet parking only, no free breakfast, the refrigerator was small and it only stayed on for a couple hours. The bathroom faucet was bad.

This was a nice place. Great location. Be aware it’s valet parking only, that has a daily rate. I had a room with a balcony which was nice and really close to the beach, like 2-3 minute walk. Only bad part was some stains on the bathroom tile but it was under the sink area

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were disappointed with several aspects of our experience.

It seems the hotel may be understaffed during the off-season, which negatively impacted the overall service and guest experience.

While the rooms are spacious, they clearly need better maintenance. Several items were not functioning properly, including some lights, the iron, and the bathtub faucet. Additionally, there was no full-length mirror and no convenient place to hang bath towels, which was inconvenient.

The valet service is extremely expensive and very slow. Even on a regular day, we had to wait over 10 minutes to receive our car.

Breakfast service was by far the most frustrating part of our stay. Ordering two breakfast sandwiches took more than 30 minutes. We had breakfast twice during our stay, and this was easily the slowest breakfast service I’ve ever experienced.

Considering the high room rates, I would not recommend this hotel. There are likely better options available in the same price range.

We had a wonderful stay and the most of the front staff were suburb. However the last night there of the 7 days we stayed. My 5 year old with some special needs ran in the hallway, its 745pm, and a white man who worked there but we hadnt seen the whole time, came up to us and was very rude and ignorant.

Convenient location while off the beaten path. 3 minute walk to the less busy part of Clearwater Beach. Beautiful rooftop bar/sitting area. You can see both the sunrise and sunset from the roof. The front desk and Starbucks employees were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was couteous. Room was clean..beds are very very hard, so it hurt my hip joints. The 1st night in the middle of the night, someone was clanking weights in the gym for 30 min! The refrig only stays on for 2 hours then off for 6..so nothing stays cold in the fridge. I was not aware valet parking was all that was available, so add 38 dollars plus tax to each nights stay for Valet. There is comlimentary coffee pods in the room, but if you want extra in the morning you have to buy at starbucks in the lobby. The hotel itself is down a side street and has an akward entrance..lobby to check in is on the 4th floor. It is very convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops and in a quiet area on the bay side. My main gripe was the 38 dollar plus tax valet per night, that was not disclosed ahead of time when I booked the room. Nice hotel though. When I asked for extra coffee and towels for the room they arrived within 10 minuites.

We didn’t get breakfast because we slept in everyday. The balcony view was poolside and it was great. We definitely will stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable. The water could be a tad hotter in the shower, but I like super hot showers. The hotel is close to everything beachside, which is great for people on vacation.

I mentioned before that we had a big shuffle/run around with being put in a handicapped room. Hotel said it was the way Hotels.com reserved it. Basically they blamed you and you said you would let hotel know. Both of you just kicked the can down the road. We told them at check-in we wanted daily cleaning. Everyday day we reminded, daily cleaning. Everyday we would return around 3 PM and room was not cleaned. Asked ladies in hall, they said we were not on schedule, so we would mention to front desk. This went on daily and the room wouldn’t be cleaned until way late when we were ready for showers to go to dinner. It got to be tedious. For what the daily room rate is, don’t get the daily parking charge. One time, I get, but $38/day is ridiculous for not moving vehicle.

We had a great experience over the weekend. We got upgraded to a balcony room, which was unexpected and appreciated! The hotel is very clean and updated. It’s walking distance to anything you could possibly need! I feel like there was no disturbances or noise, so we slept great! We would definitely come and stay again when coming to Clearwater area.

The hidden detail of the Valet parking would've been great to know up front. I later learned that customers can park across the street in a parking deck and notify the valet people that you're unloading/loading. The parking is $48/night for cars which is like a Miami price honestly. Other than that the gym was clean and well stocked; although having kettlebells too would be perfect! The view from the gym while you exercise overlooks the water which is amazing! Overall the place was clean and a nice stay even at the bars and rooftop pool. The noisy part is some systems outside in the front on the sidewalk. Sometimes music from the main drag can be heard, but it wasn't a big deal in my room.

Nice staff, excellent valets first people you meet. Very friendly always say hello and welcome back. We dealt with Elijah and Rashad when we first arrived excellent as well as all the other valets. When you first walk in the chairs have stains. Not a good first impression. Rooms very nice. Pool was nice however needed to be cleaned. This did not seem to be a priority as it was not cleaned daily. Overall we had a nice stay.
