The location is great but here are the negatives, the fridge in the room was situated next to the bed and was quite loud, often woke us up. The bath/shower combo was elevated, my wife had a very hard time to get in and out of the shower. The bathtub was an outdated jacuzzi type bath with signs of mold around the bath enclosure. The bed frame was noisy. Our room was due for a renovation considering the price paid for our stay. During the first day of our stay the cushions for the pool chairs weren't out yet. Quality price ratio is very high for this accommodation.

This property is ideally located on the edge of the center of Chora - the picturesque principal village of Folegandros. It has an excellent pool setup - great for families, groups and couples. Nice breakfast buffet included in my room price. Available massage/spa services. Great staff. Across the street from the island’s only winery worth seeing. Easy stroll to the shops, cafes and many restaurants of Chora. Large free parking lot very convenient to the property entrance. My room was fine - could use some updating - but quiet and comfortable. Easy drive to everything on this small island.

Staff was very nice and the aesthetics were quite pleasing.

In terms of functionality, our toilet didn’t flush half the time, the drains were clogged, and we didn’t have hot water for our entire stay, and had to use another room to shower. The phone didn’t work, and the mini fridge was very loud in the middle of the night. Also, the lights by the pool were not installed, leaving exposed wires inches away from the pool and we found many screws just laying on the ground around the pool which we almost stepped on many times, we picked them up ourselves to avoid injuries to us or other guests.

Again very beautiful, if they upgraded their amenities this would be a wonderful place and it is an excellent location with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Only wish the amenities were more modern and better maintained.

Great place to stay!

This hotel was wonderful. It was small so even when it was full you did not feel like it was over crowded. The pool area is beautiful. And the hotel is steps from the town making it easy to walk in for meals or to shop. It was a little way from the port but the front desk arranged all our transports to and from. Everyone was so nice and we really felt comfortable and relaxed.

The property is well located. The balcony in the room had a beautiful view on the village and the mountains. The room and the property was clean but we had a problem with ants in the room. The staff came immediately to clean it but the ants came back the day after.

Everything from start to finish was perfect! The hotel and grounds are attractive and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very well located with easy walking access to the town. Our room was pleasant and spacious, although the bathroom was rather dated. However the pool area is the star feature, and added a lot to the enjoyment of our stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The service of this hotel is very lacking. They will not work with you for anything - death of immediate family member; canceled ferry; etc. They are unwilling to even meet customers half way. Book the Chora Resort and be ready to lose money!

This was a horrible stay. I booked a room that advertised several beds for 3-4 people. The room type is not suitable for more than 2, however. They have a couch with a thin cushion (not a mattress) that they consider a bed. I feel cheated by this false advertising. The management is also horrible. Regarding covid, it seems they really don’t care. They have a buffet style breakfast. The food options are very low grade but beyond that the whole set up is very unhygienic (especially during covid). There is no service - guests can just come and grab things as they please so you really can’t know how the food was handled (if someone put something back, for example, which I did see happen). Not even the coffee was okay. Very cheap machine. Unbearable taste.

The accommodations are also very tight. There is nowhere to comfortably put your luggage other than the front entrance so you essentially have to walk around your stuff the whole time. The bathroom is the same. You have the squish in to move the door to close it and get into the shower. The products are very cheap. The bedding isn’t comfortable. The power at the hotel actually went out 2x while there. It didn’t last long but I noticed this did not happen to surrounding hotels. There was no functional WiFi. It really did not work. At best it was an inconsistent flickering one bar and impossible to browse the internet. Be careful -they also own other hotels. Don’t recommend. Island offers many better accommodation options.

Our stay was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived at the Port we were picked up by a private shuttle and brought to the resort. Thanos the concierge is one of the most genuine and kind people we have met throughout our 3.5 weeks in Greece. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the poolside breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. The pool is magnificent and quite arguably the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay on the hidden gem island of Folegandros.

We had a very nice stay here! The staff is very accommodating and the breakfast is great! They allowed us to check in early and helped us plan out our quick stay. The pool is very relaxing. The room was as expected but they gave us robes and slippers which was very nice. We didn’t have time to use their spa services but next time we come I would love to!

Superb room for cleanliness and location. Staff very friendly especially Maria who seemed to do all the catering! The pool was beautiful and the surroundings very chic. Prices were also very competitive for on-site food and drink. The only criticism I have is for the breakfast. I have stayed in many 4/5 star hotels around the world and this was without doubt the worst breakfast I have EVER had! You had to set your own place, coffee was from a machine, the juices were very limited choice and synthetic, the fruit was tinned and again limited to two choices and as for the hot options the only thing I could eat every day for 8 days was a fried egg! Sometimes there was also scrambled egg( which was disgusting) or mushrooms but the same utensil was used for meat options so I couldn’t choose them anyway. As a vegetarian the whole thing was something to be endured and certainly not an enjoyable start to the day. Overseeing the whole sorry procedure was poor Maria who had to do everything on her own. I realise this is the end of season but in town my family enjoyed much better quality breakfasts at the local cafes making Maria’s excuse that “ this is Folegandros” when I challenged her null and void.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Chora Resort. The staff was more than helpful. We had booked a garden view room bur because of availability we were transferred to a pool view one which was quite nice . Also, the place has a very nice atmosphere with a very nice view and we enjoyed very much the time in the pool. I would highly recommend the place.

I never want to leave.

As we sit eating our last breakfast, we are extremely sad to leave this beautiful island. This resort is picturesque. Our room was adorable, the view was magnificent and everything was clean, white and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed drinking by the pool. Excellent service from the bar with a lovely clean pool. The location is a short walk from the main shops and restaurants. Overall 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect hotel, highly reccomend!

We had a fantastic time at the Chora Resort. The hotel was beautiful and very well looked after. The buildings were very pretty, the rooms were a good size, clean and quaint and the pool area was fab - full of lovely sunbeds, a few hammocks and a very large swimming pool. The food was good and the staff were all very friendly. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Folegandros is a beautiful Island, a real hidden gem!

Nice hotel in Hora, the most charming village

Hotel staff helpful and supportive. Free transfers to/from the port on arrival and departure.
Good breakfast and good food in the hotel restaurant. A large swimming pool. Immaculate, clean and secure room. Close to local bus terminal going to the port and beaches. I had a good time wandering through Hora village and taking a boat trip around the island with 5 swimming stops.

We loved it all hotel was fantastic, staff helped us in every way possible, location was perfect, we would definitely come back here, our room was beautiful and had a little courtyard, breakfast was good too, we originally booked 3 nights but extended another 2, couldn’t recommend this place enough, not to mention the fantastic pool, gorgeous!!!

We stayed at Chora for 3 days and wish we could have stayed for longer. This is a beautiful hotel, we loved everything about it! Fantastic pool, great comfortable spacious rooms, helpful staff. The only negative was the food - breakfast is delicious and there's a great variety to choose from but lunch and dinner choices are limited and not very well cooked, this really needs improvement. We had a pizza at lunch that was burned on the edges and undercooked underneath and fish pasta that was overcooked and included crab sticks (which are not actually sea food at all!). Other than that the hotel is great and within walking distance to many great places to eat as well as next door to a bakery that does delicious ice cream and cookies!

The resort is nice, the staff is super cooperative and friendly, ready to accomodate your requests, believe it is the strongest point of the resort.
The structure seems quite old but it is well maintained and the level of cleanliness is good.
I did not try the spa, the gym instead is ok for cardio equipment but substandard if you need to work with some weight (guess i was unlucky since they were renewing some equipment).
Breakfast is very good, not only for the variety but as well for the quality of the offered products.
I really enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend this resort
