After checking us in, the staff suddenly had to check with housekeeping if the room was ready, which took 45 minutes, so obviously the room was not ready at 15:00, as stated and had to be panic cleaned. No kind of compensation was offered. They could have just given us something from the bar, but no.

The rooms are quite normal for this class of hotel (poorly planned for a family with kids), but who came up with the great idea to have a glass room to the bathroom? I'd really love to not hear what's going on in there, but with an uninsulated glass door you get the full report. This is a bizarre fad that needs to be stopped!

The beds are OK, but not great. The sofa beds were quite bad, and the kids complained.

Quite a lot of noise comes through the ceiling and from the hallways outside. Fortunately it subsided quite early, so we could have a good nights sleep.

The breakfast is meh. On the surface, it looks OK, but nothing is really well made or good.

This is a bit like a cargo cult hotel. They have seen pictures of good hotels, but they have no idea how to actually make it good or pleasurable, so it all comes out a bit half baked and it gets weird when the staff has no read at all on the what individual guests actually need from them.

Stayed here over the Christmas week. We were very impressed with Anemi. Spacious and well equipped and quiet rooms, comfy bed, good walk in shower, proper sized towels and great to have the kitchen facilities even if we didn't use them very much.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and we felt well looked after.

The breakfast buffet was very good, plenty of choice on offer and kept well stocked. If I have a minor quibble it would be to have stronger tea bags and to offer eggs to order as scramble that's been sitting around is never nice. It was lovely to have such fresh and juicy oranges available.

The Christmas Day lunch buffet was a treat, so relaxed and exactly the sort of experience we needed when trying to get away from the pressures of a traditional day at home.

Anemi is well located and a good choice for an off season break.

The gentlemen checking us in didn't seem too friendly and didn't even let us know that breakfast was included in our stay. I had to go back down to ask about it later in the day. When I asked about self-parking, he just seemed bothered by my questions as well. While the hotel was nice and met our needs (and the breakfast was excellent), it was just disappointing that the service wasn't that great. All other staff we spoke with were very friendly though.

Das Hotel war wirklich toll, das Ambiente, die Lage und die Größe des Zimmers haben uns besonders gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war super und das Personal im Frühstücksbereich war sehr nett und bemüht.
Auch hier stimmte das Ambiente sehr.
Auch die Reinigungskraft war sehr nett und hat einen tollen Job gemacht.
Parkplätze gibt es zwei und wir haben auch immer einen Parkplatz gefunden.

I have been in many hotels but this hotel would have to be in my top 10. Breakfast room not over crowded, cleanliness everywhere, room was a suite so we had a kitchen and a sofa. The shower had great water pressure and the water was hot. The spa and gym facilities were amazing. The indoor pool was heated. You have to pay extra for the sauna, steam and ice room unless you pay for a treatment. We did not use the roof top bar as there were a few mosquitoes around. Location to the sea (no beach/sand) was 4/5 min walk. Restaurant in the hotel and plenty close by. We hired a car and the free car park was an added bonus.

Reception staff were probably the most unfriendly I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. Not rude, but not a bit welcoming either. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Pool area wasn’t great as huge parts of it were in shade for good chunks of the day. The sunny side beds were all “taken” by towels being left, well before breakfast, even though the people didn’t arrive until just before lunch.
Breakfast was good, plenty of variety but the three o’clock check in time and the staff would put me off returning here.
Location is very close to all amenities including a small supermarket directly across the street.

During the selection of the hotel, it was a selling point for me that the sauna and the steaming room were listed under the amenities of this property. However, it wasn’t mentioned in the description of the hotel that there is a surcharge for using them. I believe that it is the example of the hidden fee when the hotel charges extra to profit from their guests. I was discouraged by that unexpected and unpleasant discovery, which turned me out of enjoying the hotel’s amenities.
Another thing, there was a bunch of the garbage containers standing just in front of the view from the balcony and spoiling the area around the property.

What a spot!

Anemi was a fantastic choice as a base for a holiday in Cyprus. The room was clean and comfortable and walking distance from the bus stop (to and from the airport) and the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful going the extra mile with tips and suggestions. The only downer was the street noise but nothing that closing the balcony door couldn’t mostly resolve with a quiet aircon to keep it cool.

We just returned from a week in this hotel. It was so clean and staff were lovely. So close to the harbour, beach front, shops & restaurants etc..Beautiful pool area. Rooms had kitchenette (not that we used but great for young families) and were very spacious! Breakfast was lovely with a good variety for all. Lunch by the pool was also really good! Would definitely recommend!

Booked as a rehab trip after a knee op so just wanted pool sauna spa and small gym. The hotel worked perfectly for this purpose. After one day unfortunately the steam room and sauna were broken and out of service but Stelios the manager And Elina the spa manager worked miracles to at least get the sauna working which was great for me personally. The spa area and treatments were excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

A pleasant stay at Paphos

The hotel is conveniently located near the port, with plenty of dining options nearby. The premises are attractive, and the room was comfortable, with daily housekeeping and extra pool/beach towels provided. There's also a washer and dryer in the basement for guests' use. The staff are kind and helpful. On the downside, the pool was too cold in October, and the breakfast was a bit dull (the coffee wasn’t great either).

Staff were polite and professional and couldnt help more! The bed was inceedibly comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot to watch the sunset and have a delicious cocktail.

The cons which can easily be resolved: when checking in, if you dont know beforehand it can be a bit of a headache as you have to park ourside the hotel, go to reception, they will explain where the parking is and give you a number for the gates to open . There must be an easier way to let guests know the info upon booking?

There is a nespresso machine in the room which us great and the option to purchase nespresso pods. The 2 capsules you give free however are a cheap alternate . 2 nespresso capsules for your guests are not too much to ask given how lovely your hotel is !

Fabulous apartment, perfect for all the family. All facilities very good. Plenty of sun beds round by the pool (a lifeguard went and found us some if we struggled to find some) and lovely spa in the hotel too. Would definitely stay there again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very clean. 5 minutes walk to restaurants and bars and 5 minutes walk to the beach. Massage in the spa was great and we booked the steam room & sauna too.

The area is getting a revamp so it’s not in the best area at present but when finished would be nicer just ignore it for now, but very local to harbour. The hotel itself is great, very clean and modern but the xmas songs went well into the 6 January which started to be annoying by the pool and breakfast etc. breakfast lovely, maybe a vegan butter option as vegan shower gel and handwashes were a nice touch. Bathrooms fantastic walk in shower and auto light sensors and digital modern options for rooms were great-but aircon turned itself off so was hot in night at 22 degrees had to open balcony doors. No sun from reception building overlooking pool as wrong direction so ask for a room in the other building if this is a priority but we didn’t mind as was cooler. Overall very nice hotel and staff- the restaurant Nema was amazing and 15% off great pizzas!

Week between christmas and new year, 2023. Travel solo. Needed a base for the exploration of Paphos' UNESCO heritage sites. Anemi was very good because of location close to public transportation hubs and the Promenade. Also, inner swimming pools and wet or dry saunas were just perfect to the end of days loaded with hiking. The room had a private kitchen so you may fix up something if you feel in the mood.

Friendly welcome checking in on arrival to the hotel, I was upgraded from one bedroom apartment to a premium double room with sea view and terrace and king size bed and big screen TV, which had English channels as not all hotels in Cyprus have English TV channels.

I woke up on Christmas day to a full buffet breakfast with Christmas cake, would highly recommend you visit if you are in the Paphos area of Cyprus.

Excellent hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Very clean and in great condition. They were helpful whenever we had questions. I have two recommendations: To fit privacy (light, translucent) curtains on the rooms with balconies facing the pool area and to replace the balcony furniture with something a bit higher quality than the standard white plastic stuff. But overall an excellent hotel for those seeking a bit of luxury and a quiet, relaxing stay.

Loved our stay in premium room , brand new, Luxurious touches like robe, slippers, pool towel, nespresso, balcony over pool & could see the sea. Modern touch lighting/air con panel. Relaxed feel by pool, quality breakfast, excellent spa with indoor pool etc & treatments for proper bit pampering. Therapist George was fantastic. Everything was great, poolside bar & snacks, didn’t eat in new restaurant but looked lovely. Close to other restaurants and bars and harbour. Would definitely return.

Good but some cons

The hotel was in a good location. It had very nice facilities such as the indoor pool and gym. The staff were also very nice.
However, I requested a pool view room over 2 months ago and never received it. The room we had was ok but not worth the price. Loud music ever night.
I wouldn’t recommend the half board , dinner was bland but the breakfast was good.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again

The hotel is nice and clean. Nice pool and the breakfast was good. I stayed there 2 nights, the first one, I got a king bed room and it was a really nice room. The second night I booked the double bed room, they were out of king rooms, the room I got was very outdated, the bed had no comforter, it had only sheets. When we asked for a blanket they told us they don't have, although the other room had one.
One stupid thing the reception did was asking me to pay €15 extra for my wife, because I booked the room for only one adult, something I never paid attention to before, because the room is for 2 adults anyway.
Overall, this hotel is good, depends on what room you get. You could get a 3 or 4 star hotel experience with a nice room or a 2 star hotel experience with another room.

The hotel was recently renovated; the pool was nice, the spa area and gym were nice (although the gym was only open 10am-7pm), and my room was big, clean and comfortable. The beach/waterfront is a 5 minute walk, Pafos harbour is a 10 minute walk, and there are many restaurants close by. The staff was nice, but if you are looking for any real services this isn't the hotel for you. If you want a place that is updated, comfortable, clean, and in a convenient area at a reasonable price this hotel is a good choice.

I had a wonderful stay at the Anemi. The only thing I would mention to potential guests is the hotel is located right next to a nightclub at opens at 11:30pm and goes all night. If you want a quiet nights stay this may not be your best option. The hotel itself was amazing though!

The walls are thin so u could hear neighbors. From 8am tHey started digging outside so no long sleep. Cleaning was not on top - 5 days and they did not change any towels or bed sheets and to mention the bathroom did not have any heating so the towels were wet. Internet was ok but. Breakfast was good. Nice Hotel in a badly run down area.

The hotel has just been fully renovated.
The hotel was immaculately clean.
The renovation, has been done very tastefully, and everything has been considered.
Unfortunately the area needs a whole lot of work. This is at the back of Bar street, some clubs are bars are open, but most are just derelict.
Our balcony was not / could not be used, as we were overlooking a badly run down residential area, and all the occupants washing hanging over their balconies!
The break fast was wonderful, as was the pool area.

Spent 2 nights here. Lovely hotel, nice pool area, friendly staff. Rooms clean, good aircon. Note that the rooms at the back look over some run down local housing. We didn’t feel comfortable to sit out on the tiny balcony and wouldn’t leave anything valuable outside to dry. The hotel is at the bottom of bar street which isn’t the most picturesque area but you can detour this if you turn left out of hotel, head straight up and right.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was open till 7.30 in the afternoon which is excellent as it is very hot in Cyprus and the sun doesn't go down before 8.30
The parking lot was free and secure but it was a decent walking distance from the hotel which made it somewhat difficult with the luggage during check in and check out. I was travelling alone with two kids and there was no one to help us carry the luggage back and forth. But this was the only negative thing. Other than that we had a great time at a very comfortable place with good breakfast and food in general and helpful staff.

Very nice and quiet hotel for relax vecation

Very nice , modern hotel,close to the main street and port. Service of reception crew is excellent and kind, especially violeta. The brake fast is good,but they close exactly at 10 so it is not recommended to come after 9:30. In the room you have towels for the swimming pool.

Almost perfect

It was almost perfect, exellent location, great service, newly renovated. As we were cooking, we thought we were just missing a non stick pan and a dish rack to dry the dishes. We did a trip recommended by the Hotel, unfortunately the winery visit was removed by the company without telling the hotel and us, that was the reason to select that specific tour. Not the hotel fault, but recommed that they check with the tour operator and record the changes for future clients.

Excellent stay in deluxe apartment. Staff friendly and helpful.Area around hotel a bit run down but hotel itself excellent. Good location for harbour area and archilogical park.Good restaurants close to hotel, Porto Bello- excellent italian , Phivos - cheap good cypriot , The Curry House - outstanding Indian
