Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and had extra pillows in the closet. The balcony was lovely! We enjoyed the complimentary lounge chairs and enjoyed dinner at the onsite restaurant.

Wonderful Place

This is a fabulous hotel with excellent staff, food and drinks. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Our corner-beachfront suite had everything we needed, including plenty of plugs by the bed and a reading light too. Beds were super-comfy, even the sofa bed. We were able to close off the sofa bed room for privacy, whist they had their own bathroom. The small pool on our deck was not heated, but there is a hot tub on the property, as well as a sauna and indoor (unheated) pool. Kostov? the Bartender filled us in on the local sights and was really funny. The Beach has a lovely view and the waves calmed down on the 2nd day. There is also an unheated pool in front of the restaurant. We were there early April and weather was gorgeous but not quite hot enough for the ocean and pools. Crete is beautiful but be careful driving. I'd say they are even crazier than Athens. I did see lots of families at this resort, and I can see why. The price was excellent for

Great experience, clean, safe, excellent food and wine at Veranda, stunning views of the sunset and the Temple of Poseiden. The gym is missing a lot of equipment as it was damaged in some recent flooding which was the only, minor downside. Would definitely stay again!

Best Hotel Experience Possible

Our 7 day stay at Aegeon Beach Hotel exceeded all expectations, my wife and I booked a trip to Greece on a whim and I lucked into booked here. Andriana, Anastasia, Sofia, Nikos, Georgia, Zach and Andreas are so kind and helpful and the location is so good you won't want to leave the beach and it's less than 45 min from the Athens airport. We don't have a single complaint and will recommend this hotel to all!

Excellent location for hiking up to the Temple of Poseidon and a number of decent restaurants nearby (short drives). Be sure to visit Lavrio and the Thoriko archaeological site. Hotel shows wear but good value off-season.

Great hotel, but rooms need an update!

We loved our stay at the Aegean Beach Hotel! The location was supreme - beautiful beach with great snorkeling is just steps away from the rooms. We visited in mid-September, and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves, it was perfect! There are great views of the Temple of Poseidon and about 6 islands right from the room, and the sunsets are unreal!! I loved how quite and peaceful it was, I didn't want to leave; 3 nights was not enough time!

The restaurant was great for snacks and meals, and the included breakfast was very tasty. The communal areas (lobby, restaurant, lounge chairs by the water) were all great and very modern and comfortable. The rooms however, can definitely be updated. I was a bit taken back when I first arrived about how small the room was, and how the furniture and decor was so out of date, but honestly, it was enough to make us feel comfortable throughout our time there.

I would definitely visit this property again!

I took my elderly mother to this hotel for a break. Staff and food were great. The location was fantastic with a beautiful view of the Poseidon ruins. The beach was easy to access and it had soft sand. We will be returning next year to enjoy this hotel again.

Good for overnight to see the sunset at the temple

Spent the night here so we could watch the sunset at Cape Sunil, this is the closest hotel. Checked in around 4 and swam a bit, water was freezing in late May. The beach is semi rocky and does not even begin to compare to Caribbean beaches, but it was ok for a couple hours. I would not stay here more than 1 night and only to see the sunset. The shower was awesome. Ate dinner at Elias Fish next to the hotel, the fired Zucchini was amazing! Went to see the sunset, they shoo everyone out 15-30 min after it sets, but we went to the next hill behind and got some additional photos. Much better to rent a car and drive to spend the night and have the freedom than taking a tour from Athens, but we were continuing our drive the next morning to Delphi and Meteora.

We came to the Aegeon Beach to fulfill a lifelong ambition to see the sunset from the temple to Poseidon Unfortunately the May weather did not oblige with the sunset but it was a great, if short stay anyway Hotel was not full but the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and the view from the room was amazing

A little beach-side gem hidden in a quiet cove

This is a lovely small hotel nestled in a little cove below the dramatic Temple of Poseidon which dominates the headland of Cape Sounio. In its design some effort has been made to blend in with the surroundings and, even at night, there is minimal light and noise pollution from the hotel. Hence in and around the hotel the atmosphere during our stay was generally peaceful and quiet.
Our room was clean and comfortable, if a little basic, with a great bathroom with a powerful shower. The wardrobe contained a safe so we were able to put some valuables in there, although our sense of security was somewhat deflated after a few days when we discovered that the safe was not actually attached to anything and could easily be carried away.
The staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food and service were very good in the main restaurant, and snacks were also available from the beach bar but only on busy days and then the fresh food available consisted of just one choice of sandwich or roll.
The beach appears to be private but day visitors are allowed to hire sunbeds for just 5 Euro a day. On a particularly busy Sunday there were hundreds of day visitors, mostly families, greatly outnumbering hotel guests, occupying the beach area including sunbeds and beach bar. So day visitors enjoy some of the same facilities as hotel guests for a fraction of the cost, taking away any feeling of exclusivity that one might usually enjoy as a paying guest in a beach-side hotel

Toppklass service och bra läge vid egen strand

Vi tog en buss från Aten till Sounio där bussen stannade på toppen vid cafet nära Poseidons tempel och där fanns inga taxibilar som kunde skjutsa oss ner till hotellet. Då vi ringde receptionen och berättade om vår olägenhet kommer de och hämtar oss med privat bil. vilken service!
Servicen är verkligen toppen, både i receptionen och på restaurangen.

L'hotel è posizionato in una piccola caletta, direttamente sulla spiaggia e sotto alla collina del Tempio di Poseidone. Il personale alla reception è cordiale e super disponibile.
La colazione è nella norma e manca un po' in varietà. Ci sono poi una piccola palestra, un comodo parcheggio privato ed il servizio spiaggia. Quest'ultima l'ho trovata troppo concentrata con ombrelloni attaccati uno all'altro.
Le camere sono spaziose e molto luminose e per la categoria della struttura manca la macchina del caffè o il bollitore. C'è solamente un minibar dove, al contrario dell'ormai stragrande maggioranza di qualsiasi tipologia di strutture, non viene offerta nemmeno una bottiglia di acqua.
Il letto, nonostante la tipologia di camera matrimoniale, aveva i letti singoli ,con lenzuola singole, accostati.
La vista dal terrazzino è bellissima.

먼저 직원들이 친절하였고, 룸에서 보이는 뷰가 인상적이었습니다. 전면부 룸에서는 에게해가, 측면부 룸에서는 포세이돈 신전이 보이는 매우 좋은 뷰를 가진 호텔입니다. 또한 바로 앞 해변에서 에게해를 즐길수 있는 점은 최대의 장점입니다. 다만, 시설 관리 상태 뛰어나다고 보긴 어렵습니다. 룸내 시설들이 조금 낡아 보였고 샤워실은 길이는 기나 폭이 좁아 불편했으며, 결정적으로 체크인 했을 때 화장실에서 머리카락이 발견되어, 청소 상태가 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 그리고 모기가 많습니다. 저희는 포세이돈 신전에서 일몰을 감상 후 호텔에서 저녁식사를 하려고 했습니다. 그런데 식당이 외부에 오픈되어 있는 구조라 실내에 있었음에도 도저히 모기때문에 식사를 할수 없다고 생각되어 룸서비스로 먹었습니다. 룸내에는 홈키파같은 모기기피제가 있어 조금 낫지만 발코니를 드나드실 때 주의하셔야 합니다.
그러나 주변 풍광이 워낙 좋고 해변을 끼고 있어 특히 가족 단위 여행객에게 추천할 만 합니다.

Belle vue côté mer, avec vue sur le temple

Cet hôtel est un très bon choix pour le dernier hôtel avant de prendre l'avion.
Il permet de voir le cap sounion au coucher de soleil, de se faire un dernière vue sur la mer.
Le petit déjeuner est bon, la chambre était propre avec un balcon très sympa.
Par contre, il ne faut pas regarder l'extérieur qui est sans âme.

Erittäin mukava ja rauhallinen rantahotelli. Täällä oloa varten kannattaa vuokraa auto. Hotellin ravintola on ihan ok, palvelu erittäin hyvää, hinnat vähän korkeahkot, aamiainen erittäin hyvä ja kattava.
