The room is very spacious but basic. Would benefit from a bit of a refurb perhaps. Location is very central and great for getting around. The breakfast that was included from the cafe downstairs was amazing. The street was noisy early morning and late night.

Great Location and Restaurant, but Poor Maintenance!

The location is phenomenal, right in the center of Athens, just a 15 min' walk from the Acropolis. The restaurant associated with the apartment building is a real highlight: delicious food, warm staff, and excellent service.

Unfortunately, the apartment itself is poorly maintained. The sink is rusted and unpainted, the refrigerator door is broken (the plastic seal is coming off), and the water heater takes a long time to warm up, and once it does, it only lasts a few minutes in the shower.

If the management improves the upkeep of the rooms, this place could be a gem. Until then, it’s a mixed experience.

This is located in a different building and area from the hotel, it is really an Airbnb. The email sent contained the wrong door code, the restaurant (which is downstairs and where they include an awesome breakfast) was very helpful. When I contacted the office they were quick to respond but instead of admitting they sent the wrong code they told me I was entering it wrong - I know the difference between the numbers 05 and 21! Just admit the mistake and I wouldn’t have felt the need to add it to a review! Room is fine, nothing special. As advertised it’s at the top of a building - 3 steep flights up. The roof terrace is in pretty rough shape with dead plants, broken privacy screens and mops and buckets around. But for the price it was good for one night. Location is ideal.

Loved our stay here! We were able to store our bags before check in which was a great perk. The room was great! The terrace was amazing and even had a view of the acropolis, which was awesome at night! They provide breakfast at the restaurant called Brunchers which was the best breakfast I had while in Europe!! The location is awesome with great access to the metro and in walkable distance to majority of the archeological sites! Would highly recommend this property!

Major stuff-up

When we arrived we were told that there had been a major stuff-up and the room that we had booked was not available. The staff went out of their way to provide a room an other hotel not too far away (of lower quality) and were very apologetic. But after traveling for 25 hours it wasn't great to be told that there was no room at the inn.
Not sure if it was a Hotels.com stuff up or by the hotel itself, but not great.

Do NOT book here. The photos are very deceiving. Out the the 50 photos only about 5 are from the room itself the rest are from the lobby. And the photos of the room are cut off so you don't see the problems.
The place is old, dirty, and falling apart. It also not a hotel which is what I was expecting. It's more like AirBnB. I don't know how they are listed on Expedia. I was not aware Expedia listed these properties.
I don't know how they have a 4.2 star rating. Very disappointed. Place was a disaster with dirty mop, and other cleaning items placed randomly such as broom left in a corner which I suppose as a kitchenette/broom closet, toilet/mop&bucket room, washroom sink/toilet brush/cleaner holder. Place was dirty with thick dust and either Ikea furniture that was falling apart or 2 nd hand items that were picked up from the street after they were thrown out.
After the 2nd day it started to smell like sewer water. I figured it would go away but after 2 days of dealing with the stench. I called Expedia to check out early. They agreed with me but the owner has yet to refund me the balance of the stay.
Very unethical owner, does not answer phone or emails.To post a listing in this condition is fraud/false advertising. Once again, DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Good but 1 bad point in honesty of hotel staffs

About good points, the room was very wide and clean. and very near to many historical monuments and shopping area. And also the replies from the hotel staffs are very quick before and during my stays. About 1 bad point, I selected this apartment because the hotel staff explained to me that this building has the washing machine for clothes, but after starting my stays, they announced me that the washing machine can't be used because of COVID19. They should have explained to me about it before my stays.

Good location -everything functional

Great location/ access to main touristic landmarks. Proper self check-in/out instructions. We scheduled taxis with them from/to airport, super nice and welcoming drivers, excellent service. Ground floor loft in an old building, good efforts to refurbish as much as it was possible. Very spacious (we were 4) good quality bed and beddings. The place has 3 couches but not too comfty and specially not for having anyone sleeping on them. 1 large bathroom w/good water pressure and temperature settings (towels, toiletries) A/C worked fine (a bit difficult to adjust) and it was needed since you could feel humidity in the air. Service will not show up if you don’t ask for it, so use the sign. We had no intentions/time to cook, but it seemed to be fully equipped. The cleaning was impecable in all areas but the fact there were big roaches (we killed 5!) in the kitchen made me doubt about it and sort of ruined the stay for me. We informed the admin, he apologized and said he’ll get on it. Hopefully it’s taken care of and people can enjoy a good place for a reasonable amount of money, seems Athens accomodations in the central area can get real expensive and not necesarilly offering good quality.

The loft was very large and accommodating! My friends and I were very comfortable and happy with the space and the location of the unit. Our host was very welcoming and they even let us check in early because no one else was there before us. Overall it was a great experience. Wish we could have stayed there longer!

The apartment we had was not at all like the pictures but it was surprisingly spacious and clean. It was the mezzanine apt and had very high ceilings with a lofted bedroom in addition to the main bed. The outdoor area was small and completely covered/surrounded and offered little to no sunlight. Wonderful for sleeping in till noon but not helpful when your ferry leaves at 7am. The check in /out was all done with a keypad (no personal interaction whatsoever throughout our stay even with other guests). Location could not have been easier or more central to everything you want to see Athens. Only drawback was the loud live music from the adjacent building till 2am.

Simply the Best place to stay in Athens

Vladimir and Costas were incredible hosts. The location is pretty much perfect! Be aware that driving to it is a bit of a pain as the roads are narrow but they have a good deal with a car park next to the apartments so please call ahead to ensure a space is left for you! Apartment is so central, everything is walking distance away and full of amazing shops/restaurants and historic sights.

Very convenient location in Monastiraki. Nice and private. Friendly and responsive staff. AND very big and spacious (high ceiling and large floor area). Nicely decorated but not overly so. Highly recommend staying here unless you want a great view of Acropolis. Kitchen was convenient for our family of two young children (no microwave/toaster but the stove worked fine).

Many light switches were broken in our room and it was a hastle to get the lights on or off. Other guests at the Concierge Athens did NOT respect quiet hours and were very noisy throughout the night.

This is a brilliant location for visiting Athens, ideal for eating out and going to the main sights. It's well placed for transport (bus and metro). But it's main quality is the fantastic welcome from the friendly staff which makes the visit to Athens a great experience. The facilities are excellent. We were in Athens for three days, but would have loved to stay here for much longer.

Large apartment near Monastiraki

Stayed here five nights upon arrival in Greece. Excellent location very friendly staff, large apartment.
The physical location can't be beat. The apt is in a relatively quiet area. Unfortunately and paradoxically there was construction during the days when I was there. A couple of the nights someone dropped what sounded like heavy objects right above me at various intervals during the night. Don't know if this was from the apt/hotel itself or a neighboring building. Hence a lower score for the comfort category.

The experience was particularly soured by lack of water in the apartment on the last day. Despite making several phone calls, to the 2 emergency provided, there was no response from the staff. Subsequent email correspondence with the Director of the company was fruitless, as he stated that they received no phone calls.

Pros:
1. Great base for exploring Athens, 2 minute walk Monastiraki, so you're right in the middle of town and easy walking access to the Acropolis, Plaka and shopping areas.
2. Located on a quiet street off the main road.
3. Room is nicely fitted, with a small kitchenette. We stayed in the upstairs loft.
4. Good WIFI in our room.
5. Pretty hard to beat the value of this room taking into account the standard of the room and location.

Cons:
1. No lifts, so 3 flights of stairs for the loft.
2. Ask how to open the side door for after hours. There is a small trick to getting it open...

Perfect stay in Athens

The staff was great! They took the time to really talk to us and give reconditions. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a large patio that connected to a rooftop patio with a view of the Acropolis. Lots of shops and restaurants near by with easy access to the metro and bus systems. Would stay again anytime.

Great location.

Fantastic location in the center of the city and just a few minutes away from the Acropolis. The room is a bit of a hike up some stairs and there is no elevator so just be aware if you have a lot of luggage. The room itself was basic but nicely decorated and clean.

Charming hotel with great location

We booked the upstairs studio, complete with kitchenette and our own terrace. Hotel is located down a small alley above a wine bar. Located within 10min walk to the major Athenian historical sites such as a the Parthenon, this place was super convenient and showed great value for price. The only drawback was that being in the city, amongst all the restaurants and bars, it was a bit noisy at night until the bars closed.
