Very close to food, bars, markets and historical sites. If you’ve come to Athens to party and see some sights - this apartment will be for you. Roof terrace is great for early morning coffees or later evening drinks.

This place is amazing! The easiness to get around anywhere is incredible; restaurants, shopping, night life - WOW! The staff was extremely helpful and when asked set us up with transportation from the airport and then to the port (we were going on a cruise) Everything was walking distance even the Pantheon. The room was clean and comfortable. Just perfect.

Fantastic location in The heart of Psyrri. Everything at your doorstep. Staff were very helpful and the “penthouse has three decks with a view of the acropolis. Upper room has a windy staircase so watch your suitcase sizes. Great location.

This hotel is reasonable. The great aspect is their staff. The communication was very thorough and efficient. They also tried their best to accommodate our early check in request. Really helpful staff.

The area downstairs has quite a few very loud restaurants, however. The 1st night was noisy and lasted till 12. The 2nd night was SUPER noisy and lasted past 1:30.

Wonderful location, everything is close by. Plenty of restaurants around. The apartment is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The only downside is the Cuban restaurant next door – the music goes on until the morning and it's very loud. I highly recommend it!

The apartments were centrally located and communication was good. However, the apartments needed maintenance as there was mold in the shower, the doors did not latch properly, the kitchen faucet was partly detached, and hot water was not always available to shower. Further, while ear plugs were provided, the apartment was loud with outside noise and it was difficult to sleep.

Beware of noise, you will not sleep.

WARNING!! There is not sleeping at this property, it is in the heart of the bar district and it is very loud! The apartment itself is ok. It is doable for a night if you like to party. It's basic. For the price, go to a hotel that at least offers breakfast. One positive note, communication with the host was fantastic, thank you.

This should be advertised as a great place for people who want to party all night. The area is fun and full of great restaurants and shops. Its very well located for walking. However it is right on top of several extremely loud bars with music until 3am. They supply ear plugs but its useless. It is not sound proof at all. This is great if you are wanting a party but not if you want to be asleep by midnight. Rooms are basic and fine but communication is confusing and inconsistent. You will get one answer then another and the reception hours are not great for international travel. Also hot water takes time to heat and isnt really reliable. Also if you read the reviews please note they disregard guests issues and blame complaintson guests. This is for a party crowd who want to be out all night but would be convenient if you want that.

Wonderful location

You couldn’t ask for a better location! The property was a 5 minute walk from the metro station that led directly to the airport, and within a very lively neighbourhood filled with fantastic restaurants and steps away from most of Athens’s well known sites. I would definitely recommend it to any friends going forward, and will gladly stay here again if/when I ever return to Athens.

Awesome location to really experience Athens

A great location, right in the middle of one of the coolest areas in Athens and a short walk from everything else. If you want to be amongst it, then this is the place for you. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, but with so much stuff right on our doorstep, we weren't in there much.

Hot water didn’t work water was freezing , we arrived late so no one answered to my mail until the day after when we already check out

I’m 6 month pregnant and after a long day with flight it was really horrible not to shower the hotel response was that this could happen, sorry , take 20%for next time ( don’t want to go there again!)

This location was perfect for site seeing ! You can hop directly onto the train from the airport and you’re there under hour. It’s also a 20-30 minute walk to acropolis and 10 minutes to the agora. We stayed at ground level 5 apartment and it was basic room but served our needs and ac worked great and bed was comfortable. It’s in great area for finding food and drinks. Only downside was you can hear the noise outside since you’re on the ground by the action, so if you’re a light sleeper avoid this room. We did the host check in and staff were so nice ! You don’t really need to do it because they give you easy instructions and if there’s any issue their office is 5 minutes around the corner. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a great location for a great price and great price. It definitely feels like a safe location since it’s so busy and there’s some local shopping with decent prices

Just what we needed. Space for for a family of five, clean and spacious for Athens. We walked to the Parthanon we walked to monastiraki and sintagma sqaure to see the changing of the gard. We were able to take in all the major sights by foot. Make sure to eat at Atlantico an amazing little seafood spot 3 minutes from the apartment. Just be aware of the Cuban restaurant next door thay like to party till 1 am.

We stayed in the apartment in the Psiri neighborhood which is steps and walking distance to everything! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Only small issue is that this location is very noisy with local restaurants music going on until 2:00 am- they have another location which is quieter. The location is vibrant and great if you want to be walking distance to everything !!

Apartment was clean and tidy, staff was very responsive and helpful. I’d give this stay a 10 if it wasn’t for the noise coming from a club down the street which made it unbearable to sleep before 3am. There are some very nice restaurants in the area, we really didn’t mind any noise from them since it was just normal ambient music and chatter of people dining. The night before we left was the worst (Thursday night) since city was full of Irish soccer fans who were there for the game the next day and apparently no place to stay so they spent the night getting drunk at yelling / chanting as loud as they could. I realize that all this is out of control of hotel staff but there’s gotta be some noise ordinance in place. There are other hotels in the area and I don’t understand why hotel owners can’t team up and do something. Our room was on the second floor, can’t imagine what it was like for anyone staying at the ground level or the first floor.

The property was amazing!! Clean, close to the metro station. Very cute and practical.
The only down side is the noise all night. Even if the windows are closed makes no difference.
Maybe bigger/thicker curtain to help cut light and sound ?
But overall it was very nice I recommend especially if you are looking for a great night life.

The pictures do not showcase the property well. This is somehow listed as a 4 star but I would barely give it 2.5 stars. The stairs to the bedroom are so tiny, unable to bring your luggage up. The only good thing about this place is the location since it is in the middle of a lot of dining options. However that means it is very noisy at night as indicated by the ear plugs that are provided bedside.

Tbh found Athens very scary and have been to a few places in my time. The room was more like a youth hostel and not like the pictures at all. Ear plugs was provided ! As we felt unsafe we didn’t want to complain and took all valuable belongs with us. The shower flooded when used into the bedroom and the handle on the door was balanced good point was central to attractions

First I can say the location is great!
It's in the middle of very active streets, with bar, restaurants and cafes which are not too expensive. It does get a bit loud at night but it's not too bad. The guest is nice and available when needed.

However, it's not at all like the pictures of the \"Perfect 10\" we were expecting. The shared patio on top is fine (except for the stairs leading to it). The personal balcony is maybe 24 inch wide, and there is no view of the Acropolis. The internet is awful, we were planning to work from home while being there and we would barely be able to do 1 voice calls. The wifi would cut randomly. The stairs leading to the apartment are very small an I would say dangerous for kids or the elderly.

The bathroom is really small and you can see ants crawling everywhere (even thought we were on the 3rd floor), also It's always really hot in there all the time.

The AC units works but were never able to really cool the apartment properly, but it's really good at keeping the air super dry.

The fridge is also not able to keep things cold.

I honestly don't think it's worth the price we got it for, I will not stay there again.

A little gem

The studio apartment was excellent. A large roof terrace with a table and chairs which we used for homemade meals cooked in the small but well equipped kitchen. Well located in an interesting area. The staff member who took us to the apartment did a great job. We’d happily that here again and would recommend it to friends. It can be noisy in the evening and the earplugs were useful over the weekend.

VERY LOUD AREA AT NIGHT!

Even with roll down outside shades, the noise from outside was super loud. It didn't die down until almost 3:00 am. The whole purpose of renting the room was to be able to sleep. After being up from 3:15 am and taking a very long flight from NY, all we wanted to do was sleep. When I wrote them, they denied that the noise is evident. Perhaps they should spend a night in the room and suffer through what we did.

Great location and accommodations. In addition to a lovely two bedroom apartment with kitchen, there is a roof deck where you can enjoy morning coffee or wine at night. Staff was great and gave us containers of yogurt with fresh cherries. Delicious. Just check your booking. Although we were always three travelers, the booking only showed two (which I never noticed). We were told at checkout that there would be an extra 20 euro charge for a third person. Would have preferred to see this in the original price quote. Overall, a nice stay.

Our apartment was #10. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Live in Athens team. They respond very quickly to requests and are very friendly. The location was perfect and walkable to all main sites of Athens. It is also an excellent location for dining with many great restaurants very closeby. All the essentials were provided in the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed, the blackout shades were very helpful, and there was plenty of space. The shower was decent, though small, but plenty of hot water. The bed was large and pretty comfortable. There was some noise at night, though it was expected in this central location. I would recommend Live in Athens to anyone visiting this unique city.

Nice little city gem!

Lovely cute/clean apartment in downtown Athens with a very helpful and friendly staff.
Its location is a hot spot and you can walk to all the famous areas & landmarks in central Athens - hassle free!
As it is situated in the city centre you will have to expect some city noise.

Simple studio - clean bed, kitchen, bathroom. Courteous reception.
The room was not in perfect shape, some lamps did't work, the door handle on the bathroom was loose, the shower head was damaged - nothing dramatic, but not perfectly kept.
I missed a comfortable chair to read in.
The area is very lively and fun, but the flip-side is that the street is very noisy at night - so noisy that the hotel leaves you earplugs next to the bed.

This place was amazing! The staff was wonderful and spent 15 minutes showing us the map of the city and making recommendations. The apartment was perfect, clean, nice bathroom, full kitchen and everything we needed. There are probably 50+ bars and restaurants within a couple blocks and it’s only 4 blocks (Greek blocks are much shorter than US blocks) from the main city square and subway station.

This apartment was the highlight of our trip. An excellent location in central Athens within minutes walking distance to the important landmarks such as Acropolis, etc. They provided us with airport transportation to the hotel for a lower cost than the regular taxi fare. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating and gave us a tour and explanation of our room, it’s amenities, and the surrounding area. The room was spacious and clean, and had an iron and closet with hangars. They even provided us with a complimentary phone with 4G service to use google maps and other services for finding out way around the city. There is a personal room balcony and also a rooftop balcony overlooking the square with restaurants and shops with an amazing view. My wife and I bought a bottle of wine and stayed up one of the nights people watching from the rooftop balcony. They even have a kitchen with dishes, fridge, cutlery, and wine glasses/opener etc. The hospitality and friendliness is endless in this amazing city. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay, and I plan to stay here again when I return to Athens in the future.

Saved our lives with a great and safe place

The hosts at this apartment could not have been nicer or more thoughtful. They even provided a phone for us to use to get around the city and call home and were given a delicious snack when we mentioned we were hungry when we arrived. The apartment is centrally located. Might be a little better for younger people as it can get a little loud down below until about 2 a.m. There are delicious places to eat within steps and lots of action close. The only suggestion that I would make would be room darkening curtains in the bedroom.

It was great that they scheduled a ride for my group from the airport. We were greeted and let in our apartment early, too. The apartments had everything we needed for our stay and they were very nice. It really helped to have the supplied phone so we had service when we didn't have wifi.

The pleasant, friendly staff did everything they could to help us settle in and make the most of our time. A map was provided, and some tips about the locality.
The studio had a very well equipped kitchen area, and breakfast bar for meals.
The bed was comfortable. There was a hi-fi and TV though we used neither.
Nice touches such as a welcome dessert, and shower gel etc. Plenty of thick fluffy towels.
It may not suit a light sleeper, since it fronts onto a lively street, that didn't close until around 2am, but ear plugs are provided.

Spacious home in a quiet part of the town, close to major historic landmarks, like the Acropolis, Roman Agora, Ancient Agora, etc. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood, yet only a few minutes away from very lively streets full with restaurants, bars, shops and a metro station. Most attractions were in walking distance. Would recommend to travelers who would like to have an accommodation that's close to all the major sights, yet would like to avoid crowded streets full with tourists.

Highly recommend. Loved our stay at Live in Athens. The location was right in the heart of main attractions and lots of restaurants and shops. It was wonderful! The apartment was a vacation in itself and the staff were outstanding in terms of helpfulness, friendliness and knowledge. I would definitely return here if I were ever in Greece again.

The music coming up from the streets below was Greek music - bouzouki and singing - and set just the perfect atmosphere. The view of the Parthenon was magical. Absolutely loved

The apartment was spotless, beautiful and located in a great area. The staff who waited for us to let us in was super friendly, gave us lots of excellent tips of what to do and where to go. Everything worked well, seemed brand new and looked great. It was very quiet although located in a very busy area, due to its prime location in a side street. Close to shops and restaurants and many famous site seeing locations.

The Wifi was spotty and not very good but we were told they were working on fixing it. Other than that, everything was great about this place.
