The room was like a small apartment with kitchen area, living room and separate bedroom. All very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is located in a great area just 3 minutes from Monasteraki Square and Ermou Street. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was very nice and comfortable. We had a functionnal kitchen and it was easy to access.

The rooftop terrace is cool ! The hotel is very close from everything, including the netro station (Monastiraki).

Staff was friendly and it was easy to get acces to our room via the instructions.

The room was very good, had everything you need. Including being able to cook if you wanted, but who wants to cook.
The location is excellent, you are 2 blocks away from Monistiraki station, and there are hundreds of restaurants all around the area.
And the food, all delicious!
You are within easy walking distance to a lot of the major attractions like the Acropolis, Panathenaic stadium.
The staff were very helpful. And don't forget to go to the rooftop with a bottle of wine and enjoy the end of the day with a beautiful view of the Acropolis!!

This unit is in a great location - walkable, lots of places to eat and easy access to key sites. The staff were great! My only complaint is that the kitchen was not stcoked with any ingrediants - no oil, salt and pepper, sugar, etc.

Loved having my own small kitchen area. The roof view during the day is amazing and beautiful at night when the Acropolis is lit up. Staff helpful when I was unable to open the lockbox for the key card. Felt very secure as a solo traveler with all the locked doors.

ToStayLoft, is fantastic located. Central, lots of shopping, restaurants, and tourist attraction. The unit it self is good size (there were three of us). It’s a Airbnb style so no daily cleaning nor new towels/sheets. We stayed 3 nights 2 days so not a big deal. If you stay longer it might be an inconvenience. The unit is clean and designed nicely, but the shower heads do not work well. The TV remote also gave us problem. The volume does not work and had to watch with loud volume.

Good, affordable room in a relatively convenient location with good transport links. The rooftop view of the Parthenon is a bonus especially at night. While the area is safe, it's certainly not upmarket (sewer smell), but the trendy bars and restaurants nearby will appeal to younger (18+) travellers.

Comfortable stay - Apollon apartment

We stayed in the apartment \"Apollon\", on the first floor, it was a one bedroom that slept 3 (convenient room, close to elevator and stairs (which you need your key card to get in). It was great space for us (with a 5 year old, who had great sleep on the sofa bed). It was nice and close to everything! Thought it is on the first floor, you cannot hear anything from the outside. There is AC in the bedroom and living room, amazing as we went there in July, and it cooled the rooms fast. There is a flight of stairs when you go in, but an elevator at the top. The receptionists were all super friendly and helpful! We got instructions for the apartment days before we had checked-in and had no problem with entering the codes needed. It was pretty seamless. Our rooms were available before the 3pm check-in time. When we got back from our cruise, they kept our bags for us and messaged when the room was ready! Overall, I would book here again. We stayed there for 3 nights before our cruise and one night after (same room).

I booked last minute for 1 short night everything went well everything is just very tight. Toilet had very tight space to be used. It’s very minimum but works well for solo traveler. Not good for taller or heavier people that’s for sure

toStay Loft exceeded my expectations! I just wanted something in a walkable area to all the main attractions in Athens that didn't break the bank. This place was excellent and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Athens. The view of the Acropolis from the Rooftop Patio is unreal! I would book this place for that view alone; I knew they had a view from the listing, but did not realize how amazing that view actually would be! Breathtaking! And both nights that I was up there it wasn't crowded at all, since it's a boutique hotel, you don't have a bunch of other guests around. The room was spacious, with the exception of the bathroom, which I find in most European hotels, so it was fine for me. I like that it had a mini kitchen, although I didn't use much but the refrigerator. The place was just very convenient and comfortable for my couple of nights in Athens. Self check-in after hours was easy and the communication with the hotel staff was fast and excellent. Also, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in the area and even walking around after dark. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Athens!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à To Stay loft hôtel! L’hôtel est super bien situé (pret du métro et à quelques pas de très bon restaurants et rues avec pleins d’ambiance. Le personnel était super accueillant et accommodent. Le logement est super sécuritaire (portail avec carte d’accès pour entrer dans la bâtisse). Although it looks small on the outside the apartments are spacious. Conveniently located and still quiet thanks to good glazing on the windows. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Markets are walking distance as are the local fruit and vege vendors.

The property was not what I was expecting. However, it was very close to the center of the city. The room was not that clean, and the bathroom toilet and shower needed some maintenance. Also during the night time, you can hear the whole street, good luck if you're a light sleeper. Overall the staff was very nice and I would recommend this property if you want to stay really close to the city and if you’re not trying to spend a lot.

Poly - the one bed apartment - was perfect for my stay. I stayed for 3 nights and had everything I needed. Super close to the Metro station so easily to get to from the airport as a solo traveller.
The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
Only downside is noise. The walls/doors are extremely thin so other guests checking out/moving around the building can wake you up. Poly is also next to the stairs to the terrace so people adventuring up the roof can be fairly noisy but it is tolerable.
Overall I had a great stay and will be recommending. If I’m ever back, I will be looking to stay here again!

The front desk is are very helpful. we stayed for 9 days i wish i dont have to ask for change towels and garbage bags for the kitchen and washroom. No one cleans the roomsi wish they provide sweepwe dust pan and floor mops for ua to clean. Other than that, zhe stay is wonderful. very close to sites grocery and restaurants. thank you to the all the front desk

We were a little concerned when we first walked down the street to the property as narrow streets with lots of graffiti and the door to enter the property was not very attractive. Once inside the hallway was dark. The apartment however was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Elvis in the office in the evenings was very helpful and friendly and gave us a good suggestion for a dinner out. We would have never gone the direction he suggested and were pleasantly surprised when after a short walk we came across a very upscale area of restaurants and stores. In addition to his recommendation we also appreciated the location of the property to the square and the metro station as well as pharmacy and grocery store. we can't remember the name of the lady in the office during the day. She was very nice also. Wish the cubbies where we retrieved our keys had digital pass code rather than the manual number locks where you had to spin the numbers.

Travellers BEWARE - this listing is VERY deceptive. It was clear from our welcome email that the property was not as it seemed. The elevator was barely big enough to fit one person and their suitcase, let alone 2 people, making a higher floor stay incredibly difficult. As we entered our room, we learned that our water heater would have to be turned on before every shower - and upon usage we quickly found out that it was lukewarm for only 5 minutes. The glasses in our room were still dirty, and our sheets were stained. We reported our concerns to the building attendant and were quickly (and rudely) shut down for help. The sheets were blamed on housekeeping, and in the four days we were there, housekeeping did not come once to replace them. The water heater was blamed on us, when we were following instructions. The staff refused to so much as greet us at entry after we complained, and while the building was claimed to be smoke free, we frequently were hit with cigarette smoke from the building attendants leaning out the front window. While the area it was in was wonderful to walk through, I cannot recommend this hotel less.

Very centrally located. Great selection of bars/restaurants very close by. Metro stop is 1 block away. The only thing wrong was they only give you a top sheet for the bed. No blanket and our bathroom door had a sign not to close it. That should be fixed. Could be akward for some people sharing the room.

Rooftop terrace with one small section that has a view of the Acropolis. Didn’t love that we were told not to put any toilet paper in the toilet/ had to throw in a small garbage can. I spent 3 nights here at the beginning of my trip through Greece and I’m so happy that I did! The location is what originally made me come: the building is right in the city center and you can walk to all of the big sites and museums, plus there’s a metro station a few blocks away too. I also loved sitting on the rooftop to look at the acropolis! The staff was very helpful and communicative from before I checked in to after I checked out. Great for the Athens first-timers like myself!

Do not stay there if you are a disabled person!!!
Do not stay there if you care about safety requirements like handrails and ease of egress during catastrophic events such as fires!!!
Do not stay there if sanitation is important…told not to dispose of used toilet paper down toilets…put in waste basket…oh yeah, they don’t clean your room until you leave…
Do not stay there if you expect management to be customer oriented and even discuss other arrangements needed due to the misfit of the property and your basic needs…
Do not stay there if you believe management should not make it’s staff scapegoats…they have no power to help…only to apologize…

Loved staying at this property. We have stayed in higher end hotels further out of the city; however, we really enjoyed staying in the heart of Athens! Check-in was easy and communication with the property was clear and helpful. They were highly responsive. We did appreciate that are 2 locked door to pass before you can access the apartments. We felt very safe in the area and often returned late in the evening/early in the morning. Everything is in walking distance and there is a mini market very close by. The metro is about a 3 minute walk and can bring you to and from the airport with ease. We tried to sleep with the windows open; however, you can certainly hear the Athen's night life bustling- even at 3:00am! No worries, we just closed the windows and used the air conditioner. We would certainly stay here again.

Great location, but be prepared its above 2 restarunts that stay open very late. Well stocked kitchenette if you need it. Nice roof top balcony with a great view of the acropolis. Good size room for 2 people. There is a small set of stairs to the small elevator that will only hold 2 persons or 1 person and 2 suitcases. Persons with mobility issues would have problems. Staff were friendly and kept us informed via email.

ToStay loft is located near the metro station which makes for cheap and easy transport to and from the airport. The loft was easy to find and their check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room was very nice, and the bed was so comfortable. The office staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great central location, close to all the resturants and the Acropolis. Super easy to walk to all the main attractions and the train station. Room was moderately clean, however they do not provide daily housekeeping like it says on the website and the bed was pretty uncomfortable and only had sheets, no blanket, just a stained duvet with no cover to use.

The hotel looked great on the website. Upon arriving there was a very small elevator to get luggage up and down. The beds were covered with only top sheets and a mattress cover. The mattress covers were stained and there was a bug casing on one of the mattresses. It was horrible. More hostel than hotel. Would not recommend.

The immediate area looked like slums. I understand a “trendy” bohemian atmosphere may be what is being pushed but it’s a true turn-off. The entrance to the building looked like a post WW2 disaster.

Reception desk were very friendly and helpful. Area is noisy at night. We stayed for 6 days, no housekeeping. Hot water is on demand, sink makes a loud noise when someone is taking a shower. Very basic, utensils not even enough for 4 people.

My tiny apartment was clean , everything I needed was there. Mine I think was for one person only . (Polos ) . First entry was stressful, as had to follow emailed instructions , however they were clear and after that everything was easy . In the apartment one also has to follow instructions for heat and hot water , again all clear after you are used to it , I stayed a week and I would again , but next time I would pay extra to have this tiny space cleaned in between . There is a open roof terrace and reception during the day , but you still need to use keypad to enter building regardless of time . One minute to monasteraki station , many shops around , and restaurants. The location is very central to everything yet in the apartment was calm .

This property was a really fun place to stay at. Tons of bars and nightlife in the area plus a view of the Acropolis (which was especially cool at night).

It was very clean, check-in and check-out was very easy, and it was in a great location for getting around (right by the Metro and right by a Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop).

PROS: location (proximity to major sites and Metro/central), lovely terrace, comfy couch, heat is excellent, staff is approachable/nice, lots of outlets throughout the space, great security (multiple codes & doors to enter space)

CONS--for some:
*right next to bars/restaurants that play music quite literally all night (weekends it did not stop until 5 am), I could hear it through closed windows, white noise app, AND ear plugs -- I have stayed in the neighborhood previously, about 3 minute walk away, and it was silent at night there so this was unexpected and inconvenient
*the internet was okay (slowed down during my stay, went out several times), luckily I wasn't working but it would have been hard if I had been . . .
*no cleaning provided despite an 8 day stay, it would have been nice to have had at least a trash pick-up
*shower did not have a good seal so the floor got very wet and slippery--if you want extra towels to help, it's a charge (according to the sign in your room)

Clean studio in central location

We had a comfortable stay at ToStay Loft. Check-in was easy and clearly communicated. We found the location very convenient - both in terms of proximity to tourist sites as well as convenience for eating out / nightlife. The studio itself is roomy and very clean - we felt at home. The team was helpful in keeping our bags for our last day.

A great budget option with a great location. The good: Very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, spacious, walking distance to train station, attractions and restaurants and bars, good communication, friendly staff, lovely view of Acropolis from the roof terrace, easy to get to with the train from the airport. Very good air conditioning. The bad: The Apollon room is not to reccomend because of noise. There is a gate right next to the bedroom which slams almost constantly. This is probably not problematic for the other rooms. Hip, lively neighborhood might not be for everyone, I found it charming. We were awoken early due to construction noise which continued all day. No private balcony. Overall I would recommend this hotel but would request a different room not adjacent to the entrance gate.

Great location, lots of restaurants and shops but it is noisy at night. Be prepared to wait 30mins to take a hot shower as you have to click a button to start the water heater and even then the hot water only lasts 5 mins and then turns freezing cold. (No Bueno in the Winter) But the property was clean, the receptionists were friendly and the communication prior to arrival and during the stay was clear.
