While this hotel is in a great location, the room itself needs some improvement. First the bathroom - it is impossible to shower without flooding. We had to use several towels to keep the water contained. The drain is slow and not placed in an efficient spot, so the water pools and eventually runs out of the shower. The toilet was also a problem, as the lid would close on your back when sitting on it. Small issues but annoying nonetheless. The bed was fairly comfortable, but only had a flat sheet draped on the mattress. Every movement caused that sheet to shift leaving the mattress exposed. I know the mattress is there, but seeing it exposed is very distasteful. For blankets we were provided with another flat sheet, which was fine, and a thin cotton blanket. The problem with the cotton blanket is that it was not queen sized, leaving two people trying to fit under a double blanket, which didn't work well. We were only here for two nights, so these issues were tolerable, as the location really was fantastic. This would have been a terrible stay had we been there for longer.

I am providing 1 star rating just for the disappointing service. The airline we booked with cancelled all flights and we were unable to make the trip. I contacted the hotel requesting an exception to refund the stay for 2 rooms considering the unexpected circumstances. The hotel said they would call me back but I never heard from them. No consideration was given. We actually had to return to Athens and had they been more accommodating, I would have booked at this hotel but the poor service left a bad taste in my mouth.

I stayed at the loft and it’s smaller than it appeared and the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. But the staff were very nice and accommodating, they resolved our issues right away. The location is great, walking distance from the market, Acropolis and lots of food. There’s even a cafe steps away from the hotel. Overall, I had a good experience and would book again!

Hot tub and sauna were both not in service, looked like they were never used and were simply there for show. Other than that, check in was easy, room was clean but small. Area was good. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a family. It gets superloud at night, we could not sleep at all ! There is a lor of people drinking and partying on the streets (there is a bar next door). You can hear everything ! (Earplugs don’t work for that). Also the sofa-beds are VERY uncomfortable !! The way at the front desk was super helpful though bit again not a good place for a family !

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in a loft, and the only negative thing is that the loft doesn’t get cool. So we moved the mattresses to the first floor. And it was more comfortable that way, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would return given the opportunity.

Easy check in. Good shower in the ensuite bathroom. Strong wifi/internet and there was a desk in the room for my laptop. There’s no kettle on the room but there is a kitchen and lounge in the basement. No tea though only coffee.

I was able to use the lounge once I’d checked out. Just a shame that it was full of luggage as it’s their storage area also.

The staff was not as friendly as others described. My taxis driver struggled to find the entrance of the hotel and when we called the number, no one answered. I also did not like how the entrance of the hotel was wide open at 5:00 in such a populated and touristy area.

The room was small and very clean. They provide you with ear plugs since the surrounding area is a tourist hot spot but I did not use them. The 24-hour shuttle service is very convenience and one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. It's a bit pricey for what is offered so I don't think I would re-visit.

Location was the best thing, the room was average. Ground level double room was like sleeping in a shop front, except we slept on a mezzanine. Incredibly noisy so that just comes as part of the location. We booked this one cos it had an electric jug in the pictures, but there was none in the room. There were four in the common area but we were not allowed one. The staff agreed the images needed upgrading. Great location but buyer beware.

This was an exciting urban experience. I'm old, but this location made me feel cool and hip. The record store across the street pumped out great tunes all day. The graffiti wasn't so intimidating once I got to know the friendly shopkeepers nearby. There was a bit of noise at night but we slept well in our little cocoon. I wish I'd taken the loft bed because I discovered too late it was the better mattress.

The location is great because it is right next to the metro that goes directly to the metro. I was only staying one night in between flights and that is why I picked the hotel. I am not new to Athens, I have stayed many other places before. I also booked this because my usual go-to were booked. I don't believe the ranking is correct. I would give it a 3 stars, top. There is no breakfast, no 24 hour front desk (after midnight you have a key to enter the building). The area is nice, but the hotel itself is tucked in a closed alley so... safety isn't the best. it is right infant of a bar: very loud too. I don't know what is the deal with the \"pool\" (which is an average size jacuzzi, in the rooftop). When I went up it was closed. Maybe you have to ask ahead of time? My room was on the small side, which is fine, and clean. Bathroom super small and had a window in the shower. Certainly a \"no frills\" room: there was barely soap. Now, if it were a 3 star, with a 3 star price, I wouldn't be saying anything. But for the price I paid I was expecting a little better. Three stars in the area or in Omonia provide very similar accommodation and they provide breakfast.

Don’t rent a car! The limo service they recommend was excellent. It is in the beating heart of the Plaka with a fantastic coffee shop/drinks establishment just across the alley that was a nice quiet way to start and end the day. People are enjoying themselves after my bedtime so my noise canceling earbuds were perfect. The loft was very compact but suited us. Bring your own soaps and shampoos as the provided ones are so so. We walked to every tour and got to the entrance of the acropolis faster than a taxi could drive. Just around the corner from train and bus for day trips too! It is urban utilitarian, not luxury so no snobs allowed!

Close to monasteraki metro, good pricing and close by all attractions making everything walkable, but comes at the cost of loud noise throughout the night, bars ran into 4am. They give you ear plugs near your bed side. Friendly receptionists, more or less clean overall. Leaky shower head making the overhead shower useless. Wine option provides not to my liking but was part of the vip package. Did not use the fitness/sauna wellness that was extra. Would stay again despite flaws.

Check in was very friendly as well as check out. I had a smaller room which was good enough for sleeping, did get a bit loud at night as there are bars and restaurants just below. Overall despite that for the convenience and location and price would highly recommend.

The location was amazing! Steps away from the metro station, walking distance to Monisteraki and Syntagma square. Very affordable basic accommodation with many great amenities that I didn’t have a chance to use. The main night clerk was especially helpful with anything we needed. Only downside was the neighborhood gets a little noisy late night on the weekends, but it’s in a lively neighborhood so that was expected.We ended up extending 3 nights because we enjoyed staying there and it was so affordable.

The location is perfect. However, I’m afraid this is the only merit of this place.

The shower is poorly designed and there’s no separation in levels between the shower and the main room. After we shower, water gets everywhere in the bedroom - yes not just the bathroom but the entire room. Needless to say, it’s a mess.

Then the fuse went off in the morning. The safe had no instructions so we got our stuff locked in there. They also didn’t give you any blanket unless you asked for it.

That said, it’s an inexpensive place so I guess it is what it is.

Hotel is in an amazing position for Athens city centre.good price BUT!
First impression of street extremely unsure due to graffiti everywhere but soon realised the next day why.
No one to meet and great us a passing gentleman let us in with his key card.
Waiting a while until someone answered phone then came over.
We arrived late at night and proceeded to our room .
Unfortunately no water in fridge and no refreshments for the morning (tea,coffee, water.)
Absolutely shocking.
Its in the hotel information about unlimited refreshments but when i ask was told had to go down two flights of stairs or lift to basement , where there was plenty of sugar ,no coffee no milk and no water.
What a joke.plus good luck carrying them up stairs or the lift.
Finally did not get room cleaned .
Two nights , remembering you can not but your toilet paper down bin.

First of all, the is NOT a 4 star hotel. At best it is just above a hostel. I booked this hotel over others in the area because I am a Hotel's.com gold member, but I was not offered, or received any Gold Exculsive items. That being said, the hotel is in a great location close to everything in Athens. The room had a strange (left over body oder) smell. We opened the windows to air it out. The bathroom had a see through door, which was uncomfortalbe due to lack of privacy.

I booked a twin room. And I found bugs!!! 😱😱
The bug was dead on the pillow and bedsheet, and one was alive on the wall!!
My friends said it looks like bed-bug. Anyway It doesn't matter what kind of bug it is. I can never sleep in a hotel that neglects dead insect bodies.
But receptionist said ‘It came from the window. So it's non-refundable with that reason’
I was disgusted by the bed where the bug died, so I just came out and booked another hotel.
And also the free wine listed in the details is false! Delete it!

This hotel was OK. Not bad but definitely not great. It has a great location in the middle of the Athens center. Steps away from Minasteraki square, close to all the souvenir stores, and around 13 minutes walking to the acropolis. Room was very small but in good and clean condition. Bathroom also small and doesn't have a lot of privacy for toilet and shower. Location area looks pretty rough with all the graffiti and it doesn't make you feel safe, but it was Ok after all. Make sure you use the earplugs. Very noisy at night, a lot of bars next door.

Great WiFi! In the central part of Athens close to everything. It’s a loud area but the rooms are sound proof when you close the windows and I had no problem sleeping! A lot of extras to enjoy including a rooftop lounging area! The staff was helpful and very friendly! Overall I plan to stay here again when I return to Athens!
