I was unable to make the trip to Athens in time to secure the room that I reserved due to work/sickness with my host family.
So, I can't say anything positive about my stay at this facility as I did not stay there.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience… Its more like a private dorm room than a hotel. There was no extra blanket in the room, I asked them in the chat to provide one and no one even responded. Shame really, location was great -and room walls were beautifully painted-

The rooms open into a large room that is an echo chamber any sound or voices are amplified you can even hear the front door open and close all through the night people are coming and going if you are a light sleeper you will not get any sleep here !!!

Perfect location for a city break to Athens. Check in is super easy, the instructions are so clear and easy to follow. We stayed in a room with internal window only and it was absolutely fine. Air con perfect and the rooms also faultless and super clean. Only thing that lets the hotel down is that the walls are a little thin so you hear the cleaners and other hotel occupants. It did not really affect our stay, was only a minor inconvenience, and I would definitely stay here again.

We had the suite with a balcony that offered an incredible view to the Parthenon but there was also another level which was accessible to all guests on top of our room and that was noisy late at night. The immediate surrounding comprised some empty buildings that were covered in graffitis. That being said, the location, once pass the graffitis on the small street is an ideal location, with nice restaurants around, shops, etc. and is of a walkable distance from all major attractions, tour buses and public transportation. I would go back any time. Note that there is a small fridge but no coffee machine in the rooms. But plenty of coffee shops around, some open 24h.

Was not as advertised, only stayed for a few hours of our two night. Ended up leaving a day early. The bottom floor when you walk in looks like an abandoned warehouse. No window in our room except to the hallway, which people weee tapping on as they walked by.

A solid choice.

My two night stay in the fourth floor Acropolis suite was pleasant. It was nice to have an entire deck to one’s self. It’s amazing to be able to wake up in bed and see the Parthenon before your very eyes. I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed in a hotel room with this much expanse of glass. There’s also a new-looking jacuzzi on the deck — though it has no water in it. The minus side of being on the roof with all that glass is that the room gets mighty hot. It AC struggles a bit to dissipate it.

If I was travelling with a girlfriend or wife she likely would have appreciated the huge bathtub immediately behind the bed. Personally I thought the placement a bit odd. The glass wall separating the bathroom from the room was also innovative, though I think a better solution would have been to have frosted glass from floor to ceiling. The shower is nice. A wall bracket for the shower head would be even nicer. There’s a nice amount of shelf space for laying out cosmetics, etc. Once again, I must grouse about the fact that the shower gel, shampoo and soap were made in China. Greek hotels should support Greek suppliers! Towels were absorbent.

The room itself has a mini fridge and a large electronic safe. A few drinking glasses, mugs and coffee-making supplies would also be nice.

Will close by saying that the unmanned aspect of the hotel is creepy. The lobby looks like an unkempt warehouse. There are three mini-markets virtually right outside the door.

All in all, it’s a solid choice.

The staff was very helpful. The help arranged for the taxi to the airport very early in the morning. When call or contact, they always address the issues. At night the property can be noisy (people having loud conversations on the corridors and the entrance). This property doesn't have a front desk assistance so this doesn't help with this issue.

There was no one on the property to talk to about any of our concerns. The window was left open and unable to be closed. It was noisy all hours of the night. They should warn you in your booking that you can't flush down toilet paper. We were happy to leave.

No one gave me code to property. A tenant let me in. It was dirty common space and I called number and no one answered. Had to pay for something else with my daughters. Bad experience. Waste of money.

Very basic. Shower was just a douche that you had to keep holding, as it wasn’t fixed on the wall. It made it hard to take an actual shower washing the head. Bed was comfortable but sofabed was extremely hard and with metal right in the back - very uncomfortable. Very noise street with people talking/yelling and partying all the time. Check in was easy and fast

Horrible experience I've ever experienced before. They adopt an auto-checkin system which doesn't work at all. When we try to check in, there is no room key even though we followed what they guide to get the key sent via email. They in the end asked us to use another room for no explanation. In addition to the unfunctional checkin system, the room inside is underwhelming. No hot water and towel exchange service. I strongly recommend to avoid booking this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, close to some major tourist attractions as well as almost countless excellent restaurants and bars.
As for the staff - if there was an Olympic event for providing excellent performance - the staff at Athensred would surely get the Gold!

Our stay at Athensred.com has been rather disappointing, the room didn't have proper ventilation and natural light, it was like a capsule hotel (but more expensive). On arrival, no toilet paper was provided and we contacted the property and fixed it quickly. The housekeeping service has to be on request (opposite than advertised) and even after asking for it, it didn't happen until we complained again. The smell of the bathroom was awful. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED

Rummet har allt man behöver för en bekväm vistelse, inkl. kylskåp/litet frysfack, safe, lagom möblerat. Rent, prydligt, känns nyrenoverat. Fungerade bra. Saknade en vattenkokare så ta med en resekokare om önskas sådan. Ok avstånd till tunnelbanestation som kan ta dig direkt till/från flygplatsen. Läget centralt med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter. Inget att klaga på.

Logement minimaliste (pas de bouilloire ni des tasses pour se préparer une boisson chaude), très propre, proche d’un arrêt de métro (Monastiraki), beaucoup de cafés, restaurants et bar à proximité.

La ruelle où il est situé est un peu glauque mais il ne faut pas avoir peur.

Le distributeur de boissons ne fonctionne pas.

i've read some negative reviews before booking. But i really can say that it's worth staying here. We stayed in a room on the third floor. Everything was fine. There was everything that you need in a standard hotel room. Silent, clean. Comfortable bed. Automated and very easy check-in. Location is perfect. You can reach all the popular places by walking. There are lots of places to eat or drink near the hotel. Briefly, i love this hotel.

Cet hébergements n est rien d autre qy'une auberge de jeunesse avec sale de bain privee.
Pas de fenetre dans la chambre donc pas d aeration . Le matelas etais posé sur le sol. Le canapé lit minuscule. Personnel inexistant. Cles remis dans boite a clefs et au depart pareil. Quelqu'un est entré dans la chambre a 8h30 pendant que je dormais alors que je devais quitter les lieux a 11h30.

なんといっても立地が良く、部屋はシンプルで最低限のものがあります。深夜の騒音は事前に口コミで知っていたので、想定内でした。ベッドサイドに耳栓がありました。
ホテル内は今も工事中（？）のようでした。また、フロントがなく、ホテルとコンタクトを取りたいときは部屋内の赤い電話をつかうことになっていますが、私の部屋の電話は何度かけてもつながらず、困りました。1階に自販機がありますが、商品は少ないです。

Hatten kein Zimmer mit Fenster und war zu klein für 3 Personen. Ganz anders wie auf den Abbildungen.
Obwohl uns versprochen wurde das wir anderes Zimmer mit Fenster und ein wenig größer, haben wir es nicht bekommen. Wir wurden Tag täglich vertröstet das wir es angeblich am nächsten Tag bekommen. Am Schluß hieß es sie wären überfüllt, obwohl wir öfters mal ein freies Zimmer gesehen haben.
Für das Zimmer wsren die Kosten etwas hoch.
