We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and honestly, that was enough. The hotel felt quite outdated — the building was old and had an unpleasant smell. Our room was also very basic and lacked amenities such as a hot water kettle or tea maker.

The only positive aspect was the breakfast, which was decent and fresh. The location is walkable to most major attractions, but considering the price, there are definitely better and more modern options available nearby.

The hotel itself was OK, the rooms were clear. The area is a bit sketchy.

During the weekend they have some other lady in charge for breakfast and a lot of the breakfast items were missing as opposed to the breakfast served on Monday when someone else is in charge.

We only stayed one night, but would stay again. Room was spotless. Very quiet at night. Area near hotel is a little rough looking, but didn’t feel unsafe. The lobby could use updated decor. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Hotel has roof bar that overlooks Acropolis. Distance to Plaka area and Acropolis is about 1/2 mile walking. Overall, highly recommend.

Our room was very modern, comfortable and clean with a huge balcony, with views of the Acropolis. The breakfast room was also good with a fair choice of food for a breakfast included in the room rate. The reception area could do with being updated as didn’t create the best impression, but as the room was so good this was not an issue. Very close to good bars and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was compact but very comfortable. The views from the bar/cafe were fantastic. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Evripedes Hotel is a real gem. We had a balcony room with a view of the Acropolis. The room was equipped with all essential needs and very clean. The rainfall showerhead was great.
So much choice at breakfast and all was of good quality. The breakfast room was on the higher floor with all glass windowss showcasing the views of Athens. There is also a rooftop area where guests can sit and enjoy a cocktail or 2.
I would definitely recommend this hotel yo friends and family.

We were in a room that had not been renovated and found the comforters to be very old and \"tired\" and the bathroom very small.
Area is a bit scuzzy but was close to most tourist places.

Front desk agent was courteous. Breakfast on the top very good, clean and great view. But be aware that the facility is old, depressing and DANGEROUS. Not a safe area, surrounded by drug addicts using needles in the street. It just felt like a horror movie, you did not want to leave the hotel and did not want to stay either. So we switched hotels, definitely not a pleasant.

This hotel is an our home away from home. Great location: we can walk most of the attractions in Athens, and yet still be able to sleep at night without noise around. Breakfast was great with many variety to choose and all the fruit and vegetables are very fresh and tasty. Roof top view of the Acropolis is unbelievably beautiful. Will be a place we always want to come back again!!

This hotel was amazing! The area might have graffiti, but it felt completely safe, and the location is unbeatable—close to the metro, restaurants, and shopping. Definitely spend a bit more for the balcony; we had a magnificent view of the Acropolis, and enjoying it lit up at night with a glass of wine was pure magic. The bed was super comfortable, adding to a great experience overall. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet memorable stay! Also a good buffet breakfast.

Brilliant location.

We were very happy with the good size of the room, cleanliness was excellent. Rooms were serviced well. The balcony was very skinny but it did have 2 chairs and a table and most importantly a brilliant view of Acropolis hill. Although, the area itself has a lot of graffiti, I think they are trying to turn that around to include more wall art. We did feel perfectly safe. The Psirri area where all the restaurants are, was just a 1 minute walk down the road and around the corner. Also a little corner store. Very easy walking to Monastiraki and Plaka districts and easy walking to the Acropolis too. Breakfast with a view of the Acropolis plus a roof top bar with the same view. We loved this be place. The location was brilliant.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful and informative about Athens. The breakfast was lovely and the rooftop bar overlooking The Acropolis was fantastic. Our room was ok, very clean and a decent size. The location is excellent just a short walk away from the metro and the bars, shops and restaurants of Plaka. Everything is reachable from the location. Very reasonably priced and wouldn't hesitate in staying again

The staff were incredibly. You can see the Acropolis from your balcony, which is amazing. The surrounding area is a little rough. Transportation was terrible as well. But the staff had lots of amazing facilities to use, such as a gym and a sauna. They also let me use their printer, which was amazing.

The property is very nice. Even though the surrounding area is cluttered it is an oasis inside and at the edge of a trendy neighborhood. The room was pleasant. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected but they gave us a balcony room which we didn’t expect! The room and hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was lovely, especially with the views of the acropolis!
The only downside was that it was very noisy. Our room was directly beneath the restaurant and next to the stairs that led to the restaurant with no doors in between to block noise, so had very loud noises from early hours due to the breakfast preparation and guests dragging chairs on the floor and late in the evening until the bar closed. Slept fine throughout the night but had a very disturbed sleep during these hours

Wow! What a great hotel! We loved our stay. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Every member of the staff we interacted with was helpful, courteous, and genuinely interested in making our stay in Athens as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are nicely updated and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The view from the breakfast area was a nice surprise and a definite highlight. Great hotel! So glad we stayed here.

A word about location: It is super convenient to all the major attractions in central Athens. We walked from the hotel everywhere we wanted to go. The immediate surroundings are not a pristine country club. If that is your expectation you will be disappointed. There is street art (nicer and more intentional than graffiti) on all the surrounding buildings, the streets are narrow and dark without sidewalks, and there is usually some trash in the street. However, we never felt unsafe or threatened at all and actually appreciated the \"gritty\" character of the area.
