What an amazing stay we had at the A.P. Acropolis View Apartments.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with the upmost care and professionalism that made our stay truly special.

The room was very spacious, clean and served all our requirments beyond measure. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent.

However, what really made our stay truly incredible was the little touches that we were not expecting. Being greeted with cake and wine when we arrived, to the breakfast baskets on the rooftop with the most breathtaking views of the Parthenon and the Acropolis.

If we ever return to Athens, we will definitely make sure we would stay here again.

Please let me take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the A.P. Acropolis View for making our stay an unforgettable experience.

Our stay at A P Acropolis Hotel was absolutely fantastic and truly made our trip to Athens unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

One of the standout highlights was the amazing rooftop breakfast—a wonderful way to start each day with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere above the city. The quality and variety were excellent and felt like a real treat every morning.

The staff were exceptional, warm, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Sonya, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this hotel apart and made us feel at home.

The hotel and rooms were spotless, clearly maintained to a very high standard, which added greatly to our comfort. We stayed in a room with a private hot tub/jacuzzi, which was a huge hit with the whole family—perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.

Finally, the location was superb. We were within easy walking distance of countless local eating spots, cafés, and authentic Greek restaurants, making it effortless to enjoy the local food scene.

Overall, this hotel offers outstanding service, comfort, and location. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

I say the room are Esthetically stunning, clean and those extra cherry on top wine and chocolate truffles , nespreso coffee.

Stunning rooftop in breakfast like it’s a dream delicious and lots of option, overlooking the acropolis. And let’s talked about their spa, sauna and hammam.
Staff are fliendly and helpful and knowledgeable.and above all your expection to this hotel and people and amenities are beyond words. Lovely people

The locations are right spot on and quiet at night relaxing and close to tourist area , shops and restaurants.
I will recommend this place to anyone. I certainly recommend staying here and you’ll love and keep going back like I did.

The location is very convenient.

However the hotel itself feels a little dated and requires work. For example the toilet seat cover in the bathroom was broken and the floors in the room needed repair.

The place is lovely. The staff are also amazingly friendly and kind. The breakfast is lovely. Served at the top floor with a view, they give you so much food it also covers lunch as well! Really friendly service and unique experience.

The spa is also very lovely and a nice private experience.

It’s a very quiet hotel for a very busy and normally noisy area. Quiet street, wonderful views of the Acropolis from the rooftop breakfast room. Wonderful breakfast with many choices hot and cold. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful.

I had my laundry done for a small price of 10 euros per bag and I used the steam/sauna spa for 15 euros privately one evening which was great.

Very clean and safe street with all the restaurants around the corner.

My husband and I stayed at AP Acropolis, and we had a lovely time. The warmth and friendliness of the staff was probably what we enjoyed and will remember the most. They treat you like family and make sure that every little comfort is done to perfection. The free breakfast on the rooftop is quite luxurious and the room itself was very comfortable and spacious. I also enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi, which we soaked in after our long hike visiting the Acropolis. The jets perfectly massaged our tired feet. This hotel is situated in Psirri which is a wonderful location for nightlife and away from the hubbub of Plaka, but close enough for all your tourist needs while exploring Athens. Thanks so much for an amazing experience! My husband and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Athens in the future!

Incredible service from the beginning to the end.
We have been there for a quick visit of Athens. Arriving at 12:00 and leaving the next morning at 7:45.
They allow us to get air room at 12:00 even if the check in was a 3:00pm. They helped us get our luggages to the room, set-up us with a plan for our afternoon of visit and dinning options and took our car to the parking. Perfect service!!
They make sure to bring our wonderful breakfast at 7:00 in the morning because we were leaving early!

The room was clean and was well furnished. View of the Acropolis from the room and from the rooftop was great.

Only advice I would say to anyone who expect to stay there for a long period, the sofa bed is not comfortable, specially for an adult. You can feel the frame in the middle of your back.

Room was great. I got the suite with the two balconies. It’s a regular size room for we American types. Not the rooms that you can nearly turn around in.

Location was a little off putting given the graffiti and trash cans but felt safe and would have no problem sending my sister or nieces.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel! One of the absolute highlights was the homemade breakfast served on the rooftop each morning—enjoying delicious local dishes while taking in the stunning view of the Acropolis was an unforgettable experience.

The hospitality of the owners truly made us feel at home. They were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location was also perfect—within easy walking distance to great restaurants and the vibrant Monastiraki town centre, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful.

Our apartment was spacious and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed that made for restful nights after long days of exploring.

If we had one small suggestion, it would be to include conditioner in the bathroom amenities alongside the shampoo.

Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens!

The street in front of the property seemed questionable. However, once we went around the corner to the right there were quaint cafes and shops. It was about a 15-20 min walk to Acropolis. The front desk check in was easy. We were given a map of the area and suggestions. They arranged transport to cruise port for us the next day. Breakfast was wonderful on rooftop. Our transport from airport did not show up but it was easy to just get a taxi in the middle of the day. I would stay here again.

Very nice property. Reception staff was friendly. The pool and sauna were nice. Breakfast was top notch and the guy who was the breakfast server was very approachable. Will need to do something about the annoying birds and pigeons that try to steal the food. I didn't know I had to switch rooms after 2 days for a 4-day trip, but they did good and tried to make it up to me.

This is the best place in Athens! The location is perfect - right in the most beautiful part of the city. You can walk to everything, and the restaurants are so beautiful in this area. Our room was really unique - 3 levels with 2 bedroom areas and then the bottom level was a private pool! We weren’t expecting that! The hotel is in a good area - easy to walk everywhere. And the breakfast was amazing! Sat on the rooftop and enjoyed a basket full of goodies, plus they brought eggs, pancakes, coffee. We only stayed one night in Athens - but the experience was wonderful!

It’s an amazing location! Tania was so kind and friendly at the front desk. The entire team was great. Breakfast was HUGE and delicious and great variety. We got sandwiches, eggs, crepes, yogurt, and other goodies. The AC in the rooms worked well. The rooftop was beautiful view of the acropolis. Only downfal is that the elevator is for one person and luggage (and squished with an adult and large luggage) but try to coordinate with someone and send luggage in the elevator while you run the stairs and you’re fine.

We stayed 4 nights and as others have mentioned, the neighborhood appears run down with lots of graffiti. We felt safe, so no issues there. This is a small hotel, 3 rooms per floor, tiny elevator and spacious rooms for Europe (we stayed in rm 303). The breakfast was included and very hearty, kept you full til lunch. Walkable to all the tourist sites, shops and restaurants. Staff friendly, accommodating, attentive, and addressed any issues immediately. Would stay here again.

Not what I was expecting

Staff were great and couldn’t fault them but what I expected from the photos was not what it was like at all. It’s in a very run down area and the hot tub that looked like it had a view of the acropolis just overlooked the neighbouring run down building. Spa was very small and not worth it tbh and don’t ever stay in the room on the ground floor! The noise was awful from the pool on the lower floor, the street noise, guests in reception area and staff in the morning. Rooms also not very dark so basically did not sleep at all well.

They have done the best they can with the property but it wasn’t for me. If you are a heavy sleeper though, may not be as bad for you. Location for getting around was really good and can’t fault staff or cleanliness, just wasn’t for me.

Delightful hotel with delicious breakfast basket & kind customer service! Very convenient location. Beautiful rooms. One of the best showers in terms of water pressure & heating up quickly. Lovely view of Acropolis from the rooftop area. My husband & I and our 12-years old stayed here. It was supposed to be for 2 nights but we ended up staying a whole day & night at JFK airport due to NORSE airlines delaying a flight for 10+ hours before canceling finally at midnight. (Note to self: never book with them again). But, this hotel arranged and rearranged transportation for us directly from the airport and brought us our breakfasts in the room right away so we could eat and rest. I really appreciated their kind service. They also granted us a late checkout for the next day — we had paid for 2 nights but only got to enjoy the one night. Wish we could stay longer!

The hotel is very close to all Athens attractions.
The room was clean and pretty comfort.
Elevator fits to 2 small persons, meaning a big issue for guests on the highest floor, and getting to the rooftop for breakfast.
Breakfast not recommended.
It is served in a basket, and the products are not selected by the guests.
Hot drinks are served in a metal bottle, which most of the times it was already cold when arrived.
One morning , we left after waiting 30 min for the food that didn't arrive.

If you have no problem with using the stairs, eating breakfast outside wich is not a problem, there are plenty options.
The place is perfect as it is clean comfort and close to everything.

Having a pool in the room was a real luxury, unfortunately half the time we were there we couldn’t use it because the water was having a problem heating. My wife and I stayed in A.P Acropolis View Apartments located in the Psyrri neighborhood during the last portion of our trip to Athens, Greece. For reference, the 1st and middle portions of our trip included stays in the Esse hotel (Plaka neighborhood in Athens) and in the Ira hotel & Spa (Firostefani neighborhood in Santorini). Pros: Psyrri location; Luxurious appearance of rooms; Great hot tub; Great water pressure & hot water in bathroom, Good views; Spacious bathroom; balcony. Cons: Terrible internet Wi-Fi (not working for our floor at all during our 3 night stay and we had to use Wi-Fi from other floors which was spotty at best). No staff available for help after 4pm (we arrived at 5pm and hadn't been informed on how to enter the building so we had to wait for another guest who was entering to let us in. We then found our room key on the reception desk w/a letter). No smart tv. Many, little issues with the room like a loud filtration system under the bathroom sink with doors that would not shut, loose towel rod, missing shower valve control knob, sauna-like hallway temperature that could not be adjusted, drywall damage in bathroom ceiling, no power to tv for 1st night and half of day 2, partially broken safe, etc. The hotel mgr. Wasn't there during our stay so the person at reception tried his very best to help us with our many issues but he was new so he was constantly calling his 2 mgrs for answers. Thankfully our bill was adjusted to compensate for the shortcomings.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars across the board, I would. I was traveling with my husband and his mother and sister. Everyone loved the rooms. Bright, clean, modern, comfy - and amazing A/C. And the staff was the sweetest. They were genuinely kind and helpful. For example, when they found out we had to check out super early for our flight, they made us a basket of Greek breakfast treats (including a vegetarian sandwich for me), and delivered it to the room that evening. By the way, highly recommend doing breakfast (also delicious and included) on the rooftop for stunning views of the Acropolis. Oh, and there’s a sauna and a steam room you can reserve for free.

The staff (Adriana & others) went above and beyond to serve us. The breakfast brought to our room early, so we could make our Acropolis Tour, made our day. As well as the help with our luggage.
We also loved the Rooftop view open to all in the hotel!

A great stay

We had a great stay at the apartment. Location and hospitality was exceptional. The reception ladies were extremely nice and welcoming. It felt very nice staying there due to the exceptional service. However, the accomodation was a bit tight for a family of 5 and although AC was working fine, the humidifier systems or structure of the rooms made the AC a bit less effective on a hot summer day. We really enjoyed our stay overall.

What an amazing experience. This is a must stay. The staff here went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had a busy itinerary and were going to miss breakfast. They made a breakfast basket and delivered it the night before for us to enjoy. They helped us with reservations at some amazing restaurants, arranged transfers from the airport and to the cruise port. Probably the best customer service we have had internationally with a hotel/apartment. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the views breath taking. I recommend booking the suit with the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and great water pressure. A/C was very nice on the hottest days. We spent early mornings and late nights relaxing in the hot tub on the large balcony which was the cherry on top. All in all an amazing experience. You will not be disappointed with this choice. We can’t wait to visit them again.

The staffs are amazing. They were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was way above expectation. The location is great as it is close to major attractions and close to many awesome restaurants and super market. The area where the property located is surprisingly quiet. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

A.P. Acropolis View Appartments is a diamond in the rough. Don't let first impressions turn you off. The neighborhood is covered with graffiti, but it's safe and one of thenl best locations in the city. Literally a short block from the most authentic Athens neighborhood, Psyri, where Greeks go to dine and drink and party! You cant find a bad restaurant. And it's only a short walk to the Acropolis, Thesia, Plaka, Little Kook, the central market, and other neighborhoods and sites to explore.

The hotel is small, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds are really nice.

The staff is extrodinary - always helpful, informative, and courteous. They were knowledgable and proactively recommended and book excursions and transfers (taxis) for us, all of which were excellent. They really did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing experience in Athens.

The included breakfasts, served on the rooftop with a great view of the Acropolis, are a cornucopia of delicious Greek delicacies. We had an early morning excursion and the staff went way out of their way and delivered to our room a basket of Greek pasteries, fruit, coffee, juice, and sandwiches so we \"would not go without.\"

This is a great place to anchor any trip to Athens! Highly recommeded!!!

Good base to explore Athens

This is in a great area to stay in Athens and ideal for joining tours of Acropolis. We were supposed to have hot tub but did not which was not a big deal. But the pool being closed after 4pm on a 37C day was a big deal and not ideal when we planned our morning out around a swim when we came back! So my overall score reduced based on this.

Great rooftop view of Acropolis

Really nice boutique hotel. Close walking distance (10 mins) to Acropolis and main square. Very cool underground small pool and sauna area. Rooftop is teeny tiny for breakfast but great views of acropolis.

The location is close to many restaurants, bars, la plaka, monasteraki and 20 minute walk to the acropolis. Staff were very kind and made sure to answer any questions even suggesting places to visit. The breakfast was great especially on the roof top where the views of the acropolis are amazing. I’m glad our family chose to stay here while visiting Athens.

location in the heart of Athens, v close to all top attractions, nice view from the roof top to the Acropolis, very kind front desk service, all girls were very helpful and kind, very clean bed and rooms, however rooms and elevators very small, made for one person not more, no where to put our second bag, manager never responded to our concern regardless we have been told he is available 24/7, breakfast brought to us in basket, more of cold choices that are not very healthy and not our favorite to eat, it could be better

Fantastic and personal service. Staff remember you, as it is a small property. Very close to nightlife and dining options. Air conditioning is a wall unit which struggles in the very hot Athenian summer, but everything else is exceptional.

It’s a small boutique hotel so the staff will get to know you and provide you with very personalized and friendly service with attention to detail. A room was huge, beds were so comfortable/plush and everything was very modern/clean. A location is fantastic. A walking distance to most of the major tourist attractions and restaurants/cafes. The staff will be happy to help you getting around and providing you with recommendations. A rooftop had a fantastic view of Acropolis. There is no restaurant or bar on rooftop but a breakfast is served there. At night, we took a bottle of wine to enjoy the view of Acropolis (and staff brought up some small finger food). A pool is more like a hot tub/jacuzzi but we were not expecting a pool so it was fine. I thought the hotel provided an excellent value based on the level and quality of the service we received, a great location and the size/comfort of our room. Highly recommend if.
