We stay at Hawks Hostel for 4 nights, our room was large and comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped and clean.
The breakfast was cheap and filling. The common room was nicely laid out and a good place to meet people. The roof top bar had great views and a happy hour.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent, within walking distance to many restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is very suitable if you’re looking for an affordable stay with your own bathroom. I really enjoyed having a balcony in my room. They also allowed me to store my luggage for free. I didn't get a chance to check out the roof due to renovation, but the only downside was the noise level. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the best fit, as even late at night, people were laughing and shouted in the hallways.

Athens Hawks was decent for the price, around €35 a night. The room was overall clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s within walking distance of many Athens attractions, which was convenient, but the area definitely feels shady at night—I wouldn’t recommend it for solo female travelers. The bathroom shower overflowed into the rest of the bathroom, and although we put up the “make up room” sign, the room wasn’t serviced (we did receive fresh towels). We skipped the €5 breakfast, as the photos on the website were misleading, though this may have been due to visiting in the slower season.

The hostel is what I expected. I had a private room, but even so do not stay here if you are a sensitive sleeper. Noises from the hostel and the streets woke me up many times at night. The neighborhood the hostel is in is safe though very dirty.

We stayed at Athens Hawk hostile for a budget friendly room there's three of us with a private bathroom. The room was nice clean with a balcony and the bathroom was nice. The outside area seemed a little grungy, but you're only two blocks away from the touristy area. amenities were very good. The breakfast at the time of this was five euros the price of this hotel was much cheaper than other hotels and what you get. It is well worth it it was about a 10 minute walk to the train station monostraki and about 20 minute walk to stigmata station and the government building. It was very convenient.

The room was simple, but comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view from the rooftop at night. The location was very convenient for walking to the Psirri district and we enjoyed the restaurants, shops and nightlife there. It is a fairly easy walk to Monastiraki Square and the light rail station. They provide a good breakfast for a nominal price. Would recommend if you are looking for a budget stay in a convenient location.

Room and hotel is fine.. I booked a private room. The problem is the walls and doors are made of paper and the hotel is more a hostel. No quiet hours, constant shouting and partying. It’s fine if you want to join and have fun, but if you plan to try and sleep, no chance before 3am. And keep in mind this was on a Tuesday night. I can’t imagine a weekend.

I booked the AThens Hawks hostel based on price, location and reviews. I wasn’t expecting a lot for the price but was really impressed with the place. We arrived late due to Taxi strike, but someone was a reception and was very welcoming. Our room was big, modern, clean and better than anything we’ve stayed in so far, for a lot more money. The breakfast was great, loved the big room and selection. The location wasn’t perfect part of town,but close to downtown. We would stay there again! We stayed 2 nights and the reception was always very helpful. They get 5 stars from us.

Overall the twin share room was good. Decent bathroom for once. The only down side was a few cleanliness aspects. One of the sets of sheets on the bed had a few holes in it. The quilt on the bed also seemed like they could have been washed. The floor didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly. But overall was a decent stay. The lift is tiny, so be patient if you’re travelling with lots of bags and a few guests

Overall this is a pretty good hostel to stay in considering the price. The view from the rooftop bar is incredible and everything inside was super clean. All of doors to the rooms are keycard access so no one can wonder in. There’s also a nice social space on the 1st floor.
The area around the hostel is not the safest or cleanest place to stay in Athens; however, I never had any issues walking around by myself. There were some guys staying at another hostel (I believe it was north of this one) who saw multiple people at night shooting themselves up so be aware of that. My main complaint is that the bunk room I stayed in was extremely hot. I understand that there are AC regulations in the city and it was July but even when it was on it felt like it did nothing. I was constantly sweating through the whole night. I never went into anyone else’s room so I’m not sure if it was a hostel wide problem. I also did not ask the staff about it because I was not staying long. So be aware of that if you’re sensitive to temperature. Despite that, I would still stay here again but hopefully in room with better AC.

The staff were really great, the room was larger and more comfortable than I had expected which was great (I took a private room with a private shower). However the street the hostel is on was terrifying, filled with groups of immigrant men lurking around at all hours of the day and night. It was also incredibly noisy during the one night I stayed there as people filled the streets to celebrate some world-cup nonsense until 3AM, honking car horns, shouting and shooting fireworks.
The area just up the road towards the main square has a lot of police presence, so if you're traveling solo, it is worth spending a bit more on one of the larger hotels right on the square, especially if you are a woman solo traveler. I literally had to take a taxi for just 400 meters as it was too dangerous to walk to the hostel after sundown, the Greek taxi driver walked me to the door and told me not to come out alone at night. That says a lot

Total waste of my money.
They give you a complementary drink on the house that literally tastes like cough drops, not worth it.
I stayed because it was closer to an interview I had and this place was closer. 2 people decided to have sex in a room shared with outher 8 ppl and the hostel does absolutely nothing, despite I complained twice, they just looked and said 'oh sorry'. They have rules in their website, absolutely useless because obviously no one cares.
The street in which it's located is not safe fot women going alone.
Try to spend a little bit more money and go to some place that's in a better sector.

Totally renovated Hostel that feels more like a HOTEL! Amazing facilities and value! WE stayed in a double private ensuite room which had a balcony and it was amazing! Happy to return and stay! RE the neighbourhood - YES, there are some unsavoury characters that hang around on the streets close to the hotel HOWEVER, when leaving the hotel if you turn LEFT after exiting the building you do not need to pass through this area of town (the same goes when returning to the hostel - return from the PIREOS St end and you will have no problems. Wont hesitate to return next time I am in Athens.

위치: 모나스티라키 역에서 10분, 오모니아 역에서 7분거리. 좀 으슥한 골목에 위치하고 있고 파키스탄 계 외국인들이 좀 많았음. 너무 밤 늦게 안 돌아다니는 걸 추천.

장점: 방이 널찍하고, 냉장고도 있음. 방 바닥도 장판인데 딱히 더렵다고는 못 느낌.수건도 매일매일 갈아줘서 좋았음. 루프탑에서 아크로 폴리스도 잘 보임. 주변에 맛집 많음.

단점:밤 12시 넘어서도 진짜 시끄러움. 아크로폴리스까지 걸어서 25분 거리. 지하철 타기도 버스타기도 좀 애매함. 주변에 큰 마트까지 가려면 좀 걸어야 함.

둘 이상이라면 추천. 혼자 여행한다면 우범지대랑 가까워서 비추.
