The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The view and amenities were incredible, the breakfast was great and made each morning memorable. The staff were amazing and very helpful planning transportation. They even offered us late check out for no charge and held our luggage and let us relax on the property balcony until we headed to airport. View is breathtaking, the room was huge and clean. Best experience I’ve had at a hotel

Chic Hotel was an experience in itself. The location was absolutely stunning. Possibly the best views in all of Santorini. Licated in Firostafani, it is clise to everything, but just far enough away to not have to worry about the masses of crowds. The staff were friendly and so helpful, always giving hints and tips on the best places to see on the island. Endless dining and shopping options are at you doorstep. We hired a buggy for 5 days during our stay. Chic hotel is licated very close to a free carpark space where we could park our buggy when not in use. We loved every second of our visit to Santorini and staying at Chic hotel was a highlight in itself

We ended up missing both days of our 2-day stay: the 1st day because of a ferry workers' strike and the 2nd because my wife injured herself on the ferry to Santorini, and we had to get off at one of the earlier stops. The hotel sent us an email expressing its sympathy, but they were adamant about keeping our money. I would rather have had at least a partial refund and no condolences.

Even before we step in to the reception the view was already breathtaking! Upon arrival Dimitry welcomed us and informed us with everything needed. He assisted us with everything we asked for great customer service! In the morning we met Jona (mgr) accommodated us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast attendants were very on point and on time (wish we got their names) everyone is always smiling and attentive to every request we had. Amazing staff is what brought out stay more enjoyable! The hotel alone is perfect, very clean room, cant find the exact word to describe the view, sunset 100% this is the only trip we had where we were able to relax and sometimes wished we could just stay in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The employees were friendly. This is a great town to visit in Santorini. It is a lot less crowded than Oia and Fira, but the views are still great. The only negative was the pool. The pool is beautiful, but the water is freezing. It would be great if the pool was heated.

We chose this property specifically for the private Jacuzzi on the balcony, which we paid for. However, upon arrival, we found that the Jacuzzi was not functioning, the water was dirty, and the hotel stated it could only be repaired in March 2025. Additionally, the hotel staff was unaware that my airport transfer was included, which I found unprofessional. While they attempted to resolve the issue by offering another room with an indoor Jacuzzi, it was over-chlorinated, and the water did not heat properly.

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views, remarkable rooms, and a spendid staff. Customed breakfasts personally served on the spacious terraced balconies made for most memorable starts to each day. A variety of hot tubs on the terraces and in some of the rooms made for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. All of the staff were friendly, gracious, and accommodating. The Chic Hotel is just like all the famous pictures you see when describing rooms that are built down the side of a mountain in Santorini. This hotel is closer to the main town, Fira, than Oia (the other famous place). Service and breakfast were great. Only criticism is, if you stay here, avoid room 4. The hot tub in the bathroom was not manageable and over heated the entire room. A cover for the hot tub would solve that problem. Beautiful place and incredible views.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Chic Hotel. Starting from the very polite and prompt communication prior to our arrival to kind and hospital front desk staff . Maya and Thanasis, aside from outstanding work ethic, have warm and caring touch to the service. We enjoyed our room with the amazing jacuzzi overlooking Caldera. Unforgettable sunset with a glass of wine was a nice touch . One little encounter was the temperature of the water in the shower had a mind of its own, magically , without a warning was changing from very hot to a freezing cold . However, it did not spoil our amazing experience. If you are looking for a 5 star accommodations with the view of a breathtaking sunset and sunrise in the Beautiful and quite Firostefani village in close proximity to Fira and a breathtaking hike along the Aegean sea to Oia, the Chic hotel is definitely should be your choice !

Our stay at the Chic Hotel was amazing. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. It was peaceful with great views of caldera and sunset. I highly recommend watching sunset from hotel verses going to Oia. Sunset at Oia was full of people and it was stressful trying to find a spot to stand. Hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. We had our best dinner at Onar Restaurant which is just above hotel.

We love this hotel! Beautiful views and helpful staff. It’s also really clean. They provided transportation for a fee and even transportation to the port which we needed at 1 AM. This is honestly the best location. It is right by all the restaurants and some shops if you don’t want to walk far. We booked a boat ride and the pickup was only a few steps away which we loved. A lot of people staying at other properties were coming down just to take photos because the view is just that amazing. There’s a lot to see in Santorini but this was our last stop on our honeymoon so we stayed close. I would definitely recommend.

I would have given this property 5 stars since the view, the room and the service of Fay and most of the staff was beyond our expectations, if I did not have to experience the rudeness of the maintenance guy at the property. This gentleman not only threw our breakfast on the table because he was asked a question but also was rude to the girl at the front desk when questioned about the paint that was coming of at the pool (which I have pictures of the paint in my body). These types of scenarios are not what expected when you are on vacation.

Managers Kostas and Fey were exceptional. Our views were Amazing! It must be listed on Instagram or another site as a great place for pictures because a LOT of people took pictures on the stairs between the Chic and the next hotel. Everywhere you look the view is Spectacular! You do not need to stay in OIA to have beautiful sunsets.
The only complaint would be that the rooms have NO drawers so you have to live out of your suitcase.

Words cannot describe our immense happiness with Chic Hotel Santorini. Fay and Kostas, are just the most fabulous hospitality specialists. They were both so personable and accommodating, assisting us with anything we needed. They were always cheerful and eager to ensure we had the best experience possible. The staff and service were just impeccable, with a delectable breakfast served to our personal outdoor eating area each morning.
As for the location of the resort, it is situated at the perfect point in the caldera, at just the right height. There are spellbinding views of the layers and layers of white canvas suites to the left and to the right of the resort as soon as you exit your room. And wait until the evening when the sun goes down and all the lights turn on. You will experience a sense of nirvana. On top of this, the volcano and the island of Thirassia and all the cruise ships are visible to you as soon as you step out of your door. And the sunsets directly opposite the resort were unbelievably stunning and unobstructed.
The main walkway outside of the resort has that festive old time charm with remarkable views of the caldera, and best of all, without the hustle and bustle of Fira or Oia. Also along this walkway are fine dining and the most amazing gyro shop in Santorini. Long lines queue every day. In summary, the resort had everything we desired. We cannot imagine a more relaxing place to stay in Santorini than the Chic Hotel Santorini.

Beautiful setting but avoid indoor whirlpool rooms

The 10 rooms of the Chic Hotel are nestled into the exclusive cliff tops in Firostefani, a short distance walk to the restaurants and bars of the main town Fira and the bus station from which you can travel around the island. The hotel staff are friendly and breakfast tasty.
The main issue with our stay was our room... \"A Junior Suite with Caldera View and Indoor Whirlpool\". Our room (room 9) was not a traditional suite as it was only a bedroom and a bathroom. It had no windows (only a small window in the door which we had to keep covered by the blind in order to have any privacy) and no private outdoor space. The 'caldera view' was only visible from the small shared areas around the hotel. The room was minimally decorated with no wardrobe (only a hanging rail in the bathroom) and one drawer. But the worst thing was the huge open whirlpool which took up half the bathroom (and a quarter of the entire suite space), had no lid, left the whole suite smelling of a health club and was kept hot so left the whole room steamy and humid. The only mirror was in the bathroom so was mostly steamed up.
We did not feel that our suite met any of our expectations (for space, basic amenities, luxury feel, privacy or caldera view) and informed the staff soon after arriving. They kept saying how much they wanted to help but were powerless to do anything. In the end we had to have the whirlpool switched off in order to be able to stay in the hotel (which would not refund us so we could move). :(

Absolutely stunning location. Just be aware the area has stairs so need to be comfortable with that. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast bit different but quality of food excellent.
Outside pool small and very cold. Like getting into a plunge pool but once in was actually quite nice. There is only one sun lounger next to the pool and 2 chairs. It is not really a laying round the pool holiday.
These are caves so don’t expect pristine walls etc. very quirky. But we had an indoor jacuzzi which was nice and meant we had a big room. Not much storage space but we were only there 4 days so didn’t matter to us. I kept mine in the suitcase and other half put his above the bed.
The indoor jacuzzi probably caused the do as there was mould in places so you have to keep air con on.

Very disappointing for my honeymoon. Spent an hour on the phone with you to resolve and you provided a $250 credit which didn't included taxes. How dare collorate and overcharge consumers.

I expect a voucher to coimpensate my terrible ordeal that doesn't include taxes as well WOW! you make at least $300-500 extra off me for the same room. Lets get thiis resolved before I lodge ACCC and consumer affairs reportl.

We had an amazing stay here in December. My room (executive suite) had a private balcony with a pool and a stunning, unobstructed view of the caldera, sunset, and the surrounding landscape. The room was also close to reception so fewer stairs. The breakfast delivered each morning was wonderful - the food was delicious (eggs, fruit, amazing yogurt, cake, croissant, toast sandwiches, etc.) and the presentation was top-notch. The staff were also super friendly and helpful! The location was perfect - quiet area just a short walk to the center of Fira. Finally, the hotel had six adorable cats that roamed the property. They were so cute, friendly and well-behaved and cared for, they really added a special touch to the experience!

This is my 3rd time at this location. The people there will make you feel very comfortable. They explain everything to you. Jacuzzi in most rooms to relax. 2 or 3 rooms the jacuzzi outside your room or balcony. Keep in mind Santorini is not very easy for people with luck of moving ability. Lots of stairs due to its location, on a volcano crater. The next best thing for folks with moving disability is a nice cruise !!!

Okay, Santorini lives up to the hype and we loced our stay at Chic Hotel. The staff, especially including Fay and Kostas were amazing. Couldnt have been more helpful. The room was amazing. Beatiful, modern (yet authentic), with a super bathroom. Not big, but great shower, all concrete...really cool. The outdoor area was over the top with a private hottub and breakfast table overlooking the caldera. The location in Firostefani was nice. Could have been a bit closer to Fira, but we only had to walk 10-15 minutes (and it was an incredible walk) and it was probably a bit quieter.
