Friendly, helpful staff in this small 3 star but 'wannabe' 4 star hotel. Everything is clean but a little old-fashioned. The rooms are small and basic but quite acceptable. In the bathroom - or in mine at least - it is all modern but very small: I am a small guy but banged my elbows every time I turned around in the shower. The hotel has a small bar which is fairly pleasant, although I never saw anyone using this facility. Breakfast was OK too. In terms of location: ideally situated for Omonia Square, bus and Metro connections, etc. Be aware, later at night the area becomes fairly seedy: Omonia Square itself feels fairly intimidating and the area around the hotel is filled with prostitutes on every corner (male and female). Overall, this hotel is good value for money, clean, safe and well-located in central Athens and I enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel was close to the station about two minutes away there is a lot of restaurants and shops around the area very safety and very easy to travel from or to the airport. The breakfast was good buffet breakfast. The only things I didn’t like the room were I was sleeping there is a noise coming from the window because of the air condition engineer machine was installed there and the room was very small.

This is a great hotel with great staff, very helpful and friendly. I had a good time. However, It is located in a part of Athens that is not very clean, or safe. one of the nights not 50 meters away from the hotel, I was chased by a gang of goons because it is isolated, dark, and unsafe, I must also note that the room and the bathrooms are tiny. The shower stall is less than 1.5‘ x 1.5‘. The elevator is about the same size. The thermostat is kept locked, and the guest has no control other than to call the reception each time they are hot or cold.

Pros: The Athens Mirabello was very close to a lot of great sites, it was about a 10 minute walk to the Monastiraki and 30 minutes to the Acropolis. The room was clean and met my needs. There is a free breakfast in the mornings.

Because of its location on a side street, none of the tours I went on would pick up from this hotel. The surrounding area is a bit dodgy, with a large abandoned building directly behind the hotel. I was warned not to venture around at dark because of this.

The hotel is a walking distance (15-45 min. away) from all major points of interest, and a few steps away from Omonia metro station. My room (601) was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast included was tasty and plentiful. The staff was friendly, polite and professional.
Overall, the hotel is probably the best value-proposition in the Omonia area, and an excellent accommodation choice when in Athens. Highly recommended.

Nicely located hotel withing easy walking distance of the metro with very friendly and obliging staff. I would definitely stay here again if in Athens. Every request was handled professionally and promptly. Stairs at the entrance would make disabled access very difficult, and hey should consider installing a ramp.

Great value for money. Clean, spacious enough for a short stay. Breakfast was good, decent variety for a continental breakfast. Service was outstanding both at check in and check out. We were worried about the area from other reviews but actually found it quiet and relatively safe, even returning to the hotel from bars after midnight, though you obviously have to keep your wits about you. Hotel felt secure too, reception staff tend to the doors during evening hours, and confirm whether you are a guest, to avoid strangers wandering in.

Nice sized room. Breakfast was included with some decent choices on offer. Easy to get to( get metro line from the airport to syntagma square then metro to Omonia. Special thanks to the man who worked on the desk in the evening (sorry I don’t have the name but he was tall with black hair) he was very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion for the hotel would be to use shampoo/shower gel dispensers in the bathroom, instead of using those small shampoo bottles that would run out very quickly.

Front desk staff was impatient with questions we had. They did us a 'favor' by letting us \"check in early\" at 2pm, however my reservation said check in was at 1pm? They did let us store our luggage while we went to sight see. Sometimes friendly, but very brush offish, almost rude at times. Breakfast was delightful, with a nice variety of selections to choose from. The room was clean and quaint, but the beds were HORRIBLY hard and uncomfortable. It actually felt like sleeping on the box spring instead of a mattress.

Location is excellent, close to the metro. So it's easy to go there from the airport. Close to restaurants, bakeries and tourist attractions. Breakfast is really good with a lot of options. Staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel location is easy to find and the people at the reception are so nice and welcoming. I like Hotel Mirabello although I was a bit upset of the noise of the others occupants since my room was near the elevator and stairs. I happened to check-in together with a group of students in a tour who were so noisy and mindless of where they are.

This is a decent hotel that I would use again. The area (Omonia Square) is rundown with some good cheap restaurants but little else. If the weather is good there is a lot to see within half an hours walk. The metro is nearby and very good.

I was a bit disappointed for the price $99 per night. The room was big and clean, but not very well appointed...and I felt that the blankets were not so clean with no bedspread. Biggest issue was AC which basically had to be managed by front desk - first time I had such a hotel experience!

Very nice hotel with a comfortable stay. The staff was helpful and very friendly and we had a late arrival too! The area surrounding the hotel is centrally located so be sure and check that it is close to where you need to be.The hotel has a very nice breakfast that I must mention-The staff had coffee waiting for us at 3:00 am and some cookies and toast which I thought was very considerate of the staff because the restaurant was closed at this time.The hotel room was large with a balcony--it was comfortable except for the small shower. It was very quiet during our 3 day stay and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The place is clean. The area was recently populated by asian immigrants. It feel more like New York than Greece there now. 20 min walk to the National garden. The Athens is coverd in ugly atfreet art. The staff of the hotel is very nice! Close buses and metro.

This hotel is located in a dangerous part of Athens. The ceiling in the bathroom had a hole and leak stains. I have bug bites on my hands after sleeping in the bed. You should not leave the hotel after dark as it is not safe. People down the street are standing across the street injecting themselves with drugs. The only good thing about this hotel is the receptionist Filippa who was great help to us in answering our questions.

Everything was really good about the stay. Wifi worked really well. The only problem was that you weren't allowed eating food in the room which doesn't make much sense because smoking is allowed. If they fixed that problem they would be seeing me again for sure.
