This hotel is a nice clean hotel with easy access to the subway and metro buss. It is on the outscirts of the main tourist center but an easy walk or subway ride the the main area. Eventhough it was on the outskirts we never felt unsafe. The staf were very helpful and the room was very clean. The only downside I would say are the very small elevators but I would definitely stay again.

We had a bad experience with this hotel from the first day were we received a room different from the one we booked on expedia and the staff did not handlle this matter in the right way and blame expidia for the info mention on their web site in addition the room was terrible with a broken handle for bathroom and the window does not close on the main road in addition we didn't get to sleep the second night were in the room next to us there were more than 7 kids below the age of 18 making noise and loud music till 4 in the morning and the hotel staff didn't make any move to stop this and i don't know how such hotel pemit to be such number of people in one room and are all under 18

The area of the hotel was very unsafe we arrived via taxi and told we were staying in a bad area, we saw lots of drug users outside the hotel. Room was okay and clean. Breakfast was lacking not much choice for vegetarian, basic. When leaving to go to our next hotel we saw drug users outside in the day shooting up drug in needles in the middle of the street outside the hotel.

Paid for a room with a king bed, got a room with two single beds pushed together. Was traveling with my fiance. The bed was a problem. There was no hot water in the shower one morning and the A/C didn't always work properly, it seemed. But the property was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was good. Three stars out of five.

The only good thing about this hotel is the super sweet staff. The area is unsafe at all. Also, the hotel A/C is from the stone age. It doesn’t blow any cold air -that if it’s blowing air at all-. I stayed there for less than 24 hours and it was the most devastating experience I had in the past 20 years.

The hotel is located in a bad area of the city, surrounded with a lot of homeless people and graffiti everywhere. The lock on the door seems like it was kicked in, broke and put back together. Asked to change room, same issue with the new room. The breakfast buffet has very limited selections. And the restaurant manager keep eyeing what I had on my plate making me very uncomfortable while eating.

I had reserved in the hotel and when I arrived with my reservation printed with the confirmation they didn't find my booking at first. When they found my reservation they told me they had moved me to their sister hotel. The hotel that they transferred me to was great in the room being very clean but the sofas in the reception were dirty.

Area around hotel can be a little rough at night. Traveling in groups is good idea. Convient to subway and large variety of restaurants. A number of markets are also available. Definately a buxget option in a large city. Would stay again.

the hotel by itself was great with staff,i asked about usa power connetion or USB connecion for charging my phones they said there is no connection and i have to buy it,but on 2nd day i found connection in bathroom under the hair dryer.about the area i should be unest to say all athens was filling unsafe at night because of homeless & addicted all around,so i recommend this hotel with great breakfast and great price.cause its 10-15 min walk only to get to center.

Knowing it's in the heart of Athens, many non-kid friendly (adult activities) could be around, but it's safe to walk around and no one approaches you. The hotel itself is a bit older and needs renovations. The rooms were clean but they need some work. The best part was the breakfast buffet. Great food, clean area, and big variety.

The hotel is fine. The problem is the staff. They are very unhuman. I planned my vacations since months back and as I landed Athens I received the sad news of my mother's passing away. Immediately I went to the hotel organize my return home for the next day. I explained the front desk and contacted the reservations department, to see if I would get a partial refund or have a credit for my next stay. The were very unsympathetic. These emergencies happens and this hotel managers are only caring of making money.

OK...first the hotel was decent. The morning breakfast was great. The room was clean (however the bathroom door handle fell off). The hotel desk folks were not the warmest or welcoming. The elevators were kind of wonky-some times they worked sometimes they didn't. Now, when I booked the room I had not looked at the area around the hotel - when I finally got around to looking at the street view I was very dismayed. The area did not look safe. I also started to read reviews that solidified what I saw. I knew I couldn't get a refund so I kept the reservation. Here's the thing, not only is the area around Boss Boutique really bad, ALL of Athens is in the same state! I think anywhere you book a room will be in or very near a bad area. So, not the hotels fault. I overheard the hotel receptionist arguing with someone on the phone and she stated \"all of Athens is like this, it is a very poor city\". So hard to believe that a place that is a major tourist area could be so downtrodden. Sad.

Excellent service. Nice little touches to make the guest feel take care of, like a complimentary bottle of wine and an offer of a boxed breakfast when I had to check out very early. They kindly arranged a taxi airport transfer and were very pleasant. Also appreciated high-tech convenience such as buttons inside the suite to indicate DND.

The room was spacious, very clean, with toothbrushes, several bars of soap and bottles of shampoo available along with slippers. Ironically, they do not stock any boxes of tissues, so you have to use toilet paper if you need a tissue. Nancy at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful with our questions. Large waiting area in case you arrive early and your room is not ready. Would definitely book again if we go back to Greece. I should also mention very close to bus and train transportation, shopping, and eateries. There are some homeless people in the area, but from what we saw of Greece, there is a very large homeless population everywhere we went. So sad.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Boss Boutique in June of 2023. The staff were very helpful, especially Demtrios, who looked after everyone coming and going, coordinating taxi's, helping with luggage, giving directions, recommendations, etc. The rooms and facility were spotless, the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazingly delicious with many wonderful choices. The price was very good. Location was a quick 1 block up, 3 block over walk to Ommonia Station where you could catch a bus or take the subway to all the sites of Athens. Taxi's also available. Restaurants within walking distance, staff able to make recommendations. Some room's window views were of the back, which was adjacent to the back sides of other buildings (concrete), so if you are counting on a beautiful view from your window, that is not necessarily the case, but the other positives of the hotel make up for it. The neighborhood is inner city, so some of the usual that comes with inner city but we felt safe walking after dark in a group of 2 or more. Other people, tourists out walking as well. Overall, very pleased with our stay at Boss Boutique, Athens!

The neighborhood is sketchy. Be sure to ask the front desk staff where not to walk, one block away and you'll come across druggies and the red light district. Room is run down, white walls are dirty, and sheets do not necessarily feel clean.

Good location within a metro stop away from Monasteraki or a 15 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The property is very new and clean. The breakfast was very busy in the morning with the many large groups. Good breakfast offering. The checkout at 12pm is very convenient giving you sufficient time to not feel so rushed at check out time. Good price for the location.

The area around the hotel is something that might be an issue for many tourists but I enjoyed the breakfast, service and cleanliness. Coming from Victoria BC I am somewhat hardened to the drug, alcohol and craziness associated with the homeless issue as we just came from 2 months of travel of which a large portion was in Turkey. Quite a different landing as I felt I was North America. I am used to this bizarre street theatre and saddened to see it in Athens. Hotel was worth it to me as we are not ones to venture out late at night so we enjoyed the hotel and staff as they were excellent.

My room has to be changed on arrival. I had to be moved to three different rooms during my 5 nights stay due to noisy surroundings.

Located in the Arab district, but two streets up the road is Omonia Square with access to the very precise running Metro. Airport is 1h by metro, EUR9 one way.

Do not book! We were not able to check in due to the hotel being used as a Covid hotel. We were told by a member of staff at our transferred hotel that it had been taken over the day we arrived but the fact it was boarded up in places suggested otherwise. The hotel failed to notify us of this problem and it was only when we got there that a local police officer told us that we could not stay here and was baffled by a booking. Eventually someone came and told us that our reservation had been moved to a 3 star hotel instead of the original 5 star booking. No sign yet of getting hold of the property for a refund or mention from our new hotel.

Difficile malheureusement, mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel. Suite au vol de mon portefeuille je n'avais absolument plus rien et mon séjour s'est quasiment résumé a courir au consulat et à essayer de joindre ma banque et Visa.
Heureusement j'ai pu compter sur l'aide de Vasiliki qui a fait beaucoup pour moi, jusqu'à me nourrir.

I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and greeted us with a sweet touch of Greek hospitality, offering traditional Greek candy and a small bottle of Ouzo upon arrival. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, with quick access to local attractions and dining options.

It’s worth noting that there are some homeless individuals in the area outside the hotel. While they did not bother me during my stay, it’s something future guests might want to know when arriving or walking in the neighborhood. Inside the hotel, however, I always felt safe and well taken care of.

I would recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfort, and value, while keeping in mind the urban setting.
