Location is in shady area. Whole hotel centrally air conditioned so no control whatsoever on ropm temperature. Room was like oven. When complained, they said no control over it. I had to wet the towels to wrap myself around. Whole noght no sleep.

We traveled a family of four (2 adults & 2 teenagers) The room we received had a king size bed and two single beds, one on each side of the main bed what didn’t leave too much space to walk between them. Having said that, there was enough space in the room for the trolleys and personal bags (we had 4 of each). The down side in the room was that the wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom was a thick not see through glass and there was no real privacy when taking a shower and when the light was turned on in the bathroom it lit the bedroom as well. There was a mini bar in the room which was very convenient to store food. A big bottle of water was replaced daily when the room was cleaned. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful.
The area is pretty good. Public transportation within three blocks, shops and restaurants near by. 15 minute walk to Monastiraki Square. At night we felt a bit uncomfortable walking around near the hotel though.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The Breeze Boutique was a lifesaver for our last-minute booking in Athens. The property's location is very convenient for metro usage, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. We found our room to be quite comfortable and truly appreciated the small amenities provided to guests. The neighborhood is a little gritty, but the Boutique keeps their space neat and tidy and graciously accommodated our requests for baggage storage.

Air cond either on or off and temperature cannot be adjusted. Elevators are so tiny and run so slowly, sometimes only one is operating, waiting for elevators takes forever. Bed made of foam, not mattress and not comfortable. Sink drains slowly. TV screen size not big enough for distance from bed. Carpet runs down.

There was a guy with with gray/silver hair at the reception who was very rude to us and made our stay very uncomfortable and awkward. But honestly, the rest of the staff were not that bad. Another point is that really, really do not expect this hotel to be a 4 star hotel. You know, it was at best 2 or 3 star hotel, because the quality of their amenities and cleanness were really not a 4 star hotel quality and we got really disappointed.

The check in at the Breeze was quick & Easy. George was most helpful with info about eating facilities nearby, especially for the Souvalki.

The lifts were very small but certainly better than dragging suitcases up flights of steep stairs.

The reception staff on all occasions were most helpful with tickets for the hop on/hop off bus and taxis.

The crowning glory however was the breakfast. Every morning in the pleasant breakfast room there was a copious amount of fruits fresh & preserved, cereals, breads, spreads, cold meats, cheeses, bacon, boiled eggs, poached eggs, coffees, teas, fruit juices and more, A great way to start the day.

We would go to the Breeze Boutique Hotel again. Close to Omonia and the Metro it was very convenient.

My family and I had a great stsy. The staff is friendly/kind and breakfast very good. Everything was better than expected and you couldnt tell much from the outside. Also, there is a resturante and cafe/pastry spot around the cirner in a alley way the food was very deliscious

Four nights in Athens

The customer service at the reception was exceptional. Everyone was trying their best. We arrived very late on the day of our booking. The staff made sure we won't go back to sleep hungry. They left plates full of food for us to enjoy plus bottle of wine to help us relax. Food was simple but tasty. The beds were not very comfortable, also the noise from outside was annoying during the night time.

Due sono stati i problemo NON risolti: essendo un hotel tipicamente cittadino e quidi con le finestre che si aprono molto ma molto poco e avendo l'aria condizionata completamente non funzionante , abbiamo dormito con una media di 26/27 gradi. I found this hotel to be rather nice.
Only 2 minutes walk from Omonia main square.
My room was just fantastic.
The all hotel was very clean .
The breakfast was overwhelming with so much good staff to eat each day.
The hotel staff was very polite and professional at all times.

The hotel itself was very nice, with clean and large rooms. Breakfast had a fairly good variety. The front desk staff were not always helpful, laid back and rather happy for you to wait. The area the hotel is in isn’t very pleasant, and I always felt unsafe and as if I had to be on my guard when returning in the evening. I’m pretty sure there was streetwalker standing on the corner opposite the hotel on one of the evenings.

Fantastic, but with a footnote!

This was a really fantastic place, especially for the price. Clean, comfortable, The neighborhood is a bit rough, but it’s very conveniently located, just down a Main Street from the square and the train, although the rest of the streets are a confusing maze. Not a good place if you have an early flight the next day as a cab is the only way to the airport between midnight and 6 am, and a cab will cost you 60+E.

This hotel was a quick train stop from the centre of the action in Athens . From the moment we entered the air conditioned spotless lobby to our room - we were comfortable and enjoyed the reprieve from the 36 heat . The bed was super comfortable and the free breakfast buffet had outstanding choices. The short walk from the train and metro station was fine and there was less foot traffic than staying closer to the Acropolis but we did see some homeless people but were not approached by them .
The great price -( and bonus we were lucky to have also been upgraded to a junior suite) - and comfort of the hotel made this a great hotel for us !

How is it that this hotel can change the original reservation date because their was nothing available for the date I wanted and not refund? I went in person and spoke to them and was told that the computer changed the date but will not refund. I can understand me making the changes but why should they keep the full amount when it’s their fault? NOT RECOMMEND!!

Shower had black mold & in the shower threshold; it was chipped and mold is growing in the chipped area. The only furniture in the room to sit on was one chair, which had worn through Uphostery. The towels were frayed with strings hanging. Last, but not least is an active prostitution business with about four or five ladies walking around and in front and their pimp looking menacingly around them. We did not feel safe and I’m sure it was not a safe place to be especially at night.

Staff were nice.
Room carpet never saw a vacuum cleaner
The room ceiling shows marks of water infiltration and mould. Curtains were never washed.
The bathroom is disgusting with mould everywhere and there is no worktop to put cosmetics. There is only a sink.
The cleaner changed the towel daily but mixed floor tower with face towel. So we had our body towel with floor towel to be used as a face towel.
We got half board but the hotel does not serve dinner and sent us to another hotel across the road. The restaurant manager in the other hotel (Boss Boutique Hotel) was very rude and a couple of nights there was no dinner to serve. The food was horrible.
The area were the hotel is located is full of street prostitutes and drug dealers and they operate throughout the day.
Breakfast is ok. No variety of things and the cakes are old and dry.
The hotel is central, close the to the main attractions and underground (Omonia station).

Starting with likes, the staff was polite and accommodating. The daily breakfast was good.
With the dislikes, there was 4 tour buses that check-in the hotel. And the guests were super noisy at 3AM in the morning. The would be talking and running down the halls being inconsiderate. We were there for 3 nights, we didn't get much sleep because the walls were so thin.
The street area was very sketchy. Would not recommend walking at night in this area. Be very cautious.

The hotel is right on the border of a bad neighborhood. We had no problems walking as a group at night but 2 of our taxis even reminded us that it’s really close to a rough area and you can tell.

Staff are helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is really good. It takes care of vegetarian too. Mask and gloves are provided in the dining room. Both guests and staff wear masks. Room is clean and new. Bed is memory foam. There is no ventilation in the bathroom but the room has window. The air-conditioning (and heater) operates periodically. It turns on for about 10 sec and then stops. After a while, it turns on again for 10 sec and stops. Interesting! I've never seen such an operating mode. However, it's all right to me because the room will never get too cold or too hot. Health and safety need improvement. By this, I mean the stairways smell because of lack of ventilation. Since there is no windows on the stairways and the corridors, the hotel should leave the entrance door opened for 10 minutes every hour. Ventilation is crucial especially during this period of pandemic. The lifts are used frequently, so buttons in the lift should be disinfected every hour. Also, something spilled on the staircase and the stain was left uncleaned. At least I still saw the stain the next day. Overall speaking, this is a good hotel.

A wonderful surprise! Good location in Omonia close to the National Archeological Museum. The Breeze is a modern, chic, immaculately clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a terrific staff. A super breakfast buffet just adds to the warm hospitality of the Breeze. I would absolutely stay again.

Overall fine hotel, but not in the best neighborhood for people who care about that. They charged me an extra person fee for my friend to leave his bags in my room while we got dinner (he only had 4 hours in the city before his flight. Even the girl at the desk was clearly surprised...felt like I was being bullied for being a tourist...not cool.
