The property has a good center location, close to subway and taxi stop and all necessary stores. The entrance has a very strong bad odor look like sewer pipe broken in the entrance. I doubt that the change the pillows cover or changed the beds sheets. Wifi was weak signal and the breakfast was ok. I rather to pay $20-$30 more for a better hotel.

Very nice staff
Welcomed by the concierge who was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent and room clean . The area is at the edge where the safe town limits meets the unsafe neighborhood.

Miserable old receptionists whom also manage the hotel. So rude and brash they belong more on a school playground as prefects. I understand it is not their fault that Omonia is in a such a dodgy state however they should balance this by being welcoming their guests instead.
Breakfast was terrible and a reminder of soviet times.
Only good thing was that the bathroom was surprisingly clean.

Noise all night from dealers , working girls , and horrendous traffic , i was awake more time than i was asleep.

Good hotel in bad area

Accommodation is great. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms are decent, clean, comfy. The breakfast is very very basic so don't expect much.

And sadly the area is very dodgy. Lots of drug use in plain sight and solicitation.

Friendly staff. Room spotless and comfy. Breakfast was good. Neighborhood was fine during the day but a bit sketchy at night as all the businesses boarded up. Only two blocks from the metro and about 15 minute walk from all the sites.

The room smelled odd and like cigarettes
The shower curtain was hung by PVC pipe and wire. The shower curtain didn’t even hit the bottom causing a puddle.
The beds looked dirty. All blankets and furniture look like they are from 1995 old and grungy.
The view from the window was hookers and trash. Not a pretty site. Really rough area. Def did not leave in the evening by foot.

Good hotel for a normal stay. Very close to Omonia metro station and at foot distance to Monastiraki and Syntagma square. Neighborhood not the maximum at night, but if you move between Omonia plaza and the center is ok.
There has been only one problem with a false fire alarm sounding at 6.10 in one morning.

Itchy bed in sketchy neighborhood. I got mini hives as soon as we walked in and my throat got itchy. Keep in mind that I do not suffer from the normal spring /fall allergies. Room phone only calls to front desk so you have to go through them for everything! No Wi-Fi either. Tried to get a refund even though we decided to not stay there because it was just so uncomfortable. Pay a little more for a better location that is safe and free of bed bugs and whatever vermin is lurking around.

Very noisy area, very dirty streets and some strange people walking around including some women at the corner of the street ( every evening for the 5 evenings we were there).
Though all the above are not in the hotel’s control, I guess it is important for people to know this.

The area simply is not good

The area of the hotel is not good for a family stay, I've seen \" night girls\" at every corner of that street.
My son found a needle under his bed.
The room had a smell.
One AC unit is not enough if you are sleeping on the pull out sofa outside the bed room.
Not recommended.

Rundown area of the city.

My granddaughter immediately had trouble with her allergies as soon as we walked into the room. The beds were basically cots set up in the room. The entire area was rundown with streetwalkers on the corner. They did offer a breakfast if you could find something you liked.

Shocked with 8.0 review

Very shocked that this had 8.0 review. My kids and I got chased by a drug addict just as we are getting to the hotel . Prostitution and oversized garbage in front of the hotel . We were scared of walking out of hotel . While the location is great for access to different parts of down town I do not at all recommend it . We left our baggage with the hotel to come and find them unattended . Anyone could have walked In and taken them. It also seems the rooms use a low prices detergent as you can tell from the strong smell. Other than location in next to ominous square this hotel has nothing going for it .

Nice hotel, great service, bad neighborhood!

The hotel itself is newly renovated. We enjoyed the room except the safe was not usable. Also, it was almost impossible to shower without flooding the rest of the bathroom. The wall attachment holding the hand sprayer was loose and wobbled.

As Athens is not a huge city, being right behind Omonia is convenient with access to transports and shops.
You will be in a popular district so do expect a bit of dirty roads and noisy surrounding before you enter the hotel.
The hotel seems to be recently refurbished to a nice standard. Despite its lively location, the hotel is very calm and very clean. Definitely positive.
The staff at the reception is very kind, fluent in English and helpful.

This hotel is not a luxury hotel nor is in a classy neighborhood. As a matter of fact the street were the hotel is located is kind of sketchy however is within walking distance from restaurants and bars. At first we were hesitant to go out but once we saw how busy the streets near the hotel are we felt so much better. Definitely a good hotel for the price, rooms are outdated but clean, water is hot and good heating system. The breakfast was more than we expected and it was very satisfying. The downside for us was when we wanted to leave our luggage while we were out, they keep it for you for free but in a room that is not locked and within reach of anybody that can pass by, didn't feel very confortable under this condition. However, they assured it would be safe and we ended up leaving it for a couple of hours and returned and efectively nothing was missing. In general, good hotel to stay if you are in a budget , definitely for couples or solo travellers.

A place with plenty of character

Stuff was very friendly and helpful. We loved walking around the neighborhood, got some exercise walking up the hill her the stairs. Breakfast on the roof was a great bonus. The area is not fancy but has the character of a young artsi neighborhood. It is quite noisy at night so make sure you close every thing before you go to sleep.

Double charged for same hotel, dates, 1 room

It was ok except that I don't understand how come the hotel charged me double. Once on behalf of hotel.Com and once on behalf of Expedia.Com, two reservations at the same time? I called hotel.com and one of your representative said I need to cancel one reservation from the hotel itself. They refused and charged double. Are hotel.com and expedia.com working together? I have tried many times to call hotel.com to clear the matter but they some how can't hear me.

Nice hotel once you are inside.

This hotel has only been in operation for a few months, so the decor and amenities are all brand new. The staff was top-notch and the breakfast buffet was excellent. However, like a few other decent hotels in the neighbourhood, the hotel is great, but the neighbourhood is very sketchy. Drug and sex trade transactions were being conducted on the corner outside the hotel. That being said, we never felt physically threatened ourselves or unsafe in any way as we travelled to and from the hotel.

While the hotel front is slightly hidden, once you step inside it is magnificent- looks quite luxurious with much more affordable pricing than actual luxury hotels. The room was great- consisted of a large living room type area and comfy bedroom which came off it. 2 minute walk to omonia square!

　立地は評判の良くない地域の南島端にあるけれど特に危険は感じない、むしろ庶民的で良いと思う。
　朝食は欧州の基本食材のみで何日いても変わらない。
　なので欲しいものがあれば買ってくると良い。
　部屋に冷蔵庫も電気ボットもあり、ロビー（１階）には電子レンジもある。
　昔ながらのホテルなのＥメールの問い合わせには返事がない。
　部屋のエアコンし非常によく効く、ＷｉＦｉは場所によって異なる。３階の奥の部屋はＵＬＤＬともに５ＭＢＰＳ程度度で動画は難しい。
　ロビーに行くと５０ＭＢＰＳ以上になる。

El hotel esta muy limpio y para lo que vale está bien, sin embargo esta en una muy mala zona de Atenas, en frente del hotel es un punto caliente de prostitución, venta de drogas y drogradictos. Aconsejaría otra zona más céntrica.

Hjerteligt og hjælpsomt personale

Hotellet er flot indrettet med store lyse værelser med køleskab og minikøkken. Værelserne er rene, og rengøringen på hotellet er i top. Morgenmaden er god og tilstrækkelig varieret.

Hotellet ligger 5 minutters gang fra metrostop (Omonia pladsen), der er forbundet med Athens internationale lufthavn. Det meget hjertelige, venlige og hjælpsomme personale i receptionen satte prikken på i'et: Et fremragende hotel. Vi kommer igen!

To już mój drugi pobyt w tym hotelu. Stan obiektu się poprawił, pokój i łazienka były w bardzo dobrym stanie. Przez pandemię śniadania były serwowane bezpośrednio do pokoju. Nie były one tak smaczne i obfite jak poprzednim razem. Nie można też było porozmawiać z przyjaciółmi podczas śniadania. Internet działał wyjątkowo słabo. Okolica też wydała mi się mniej przyjazna. Wokół hotelu można spotkać bezdomnych i narkomanów.

Bien situé à deux pas de la place Ommonia, avec l'avantage de visiter les sites intéressants à pied.
L'hôtel est d'une grande propreté.
Accueil agréable qui laisse augurer un séjour réussi. Les chambres et les suites (pour les avoir testées) sont confortables, propres, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Wifi-Fi impeccable, télévision en français, frigo, climatisation et belle salle de bain.
Le petit-déjeuner est plus que correct. Bien sûr, Athènes est une grande ville, avec son lot de SDF et migrant, mais contrairement à ce qui est dit dans certains commentaires, aucune insécurité dans ce quartier.
A certains je répondrais qu'un palace dans les beaux quartiers n'est pas dans les mêmes tarifs, peut-être au dessus de leurs moyens..

Hotel simples.Bem localizado,quarto grande com cozinha americana,chaleira elétrica,geladeira grande. Dá para fazer tudo de metrô.Inclusive ir para o Aeroporto.Bom café da manhã.Bom custo-benefício.Perto do hotel têm 2 cafés muito bons,inclusive um com refeições.

La atención del servicio y el desayuno es increíble. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y las camas cómodas. El único inconveniente es la zona donde se encuentra ya que, por la noche, sí que es verdad que se escucha la gente de la calle.
Pero, por lo general, la estancia fue muy buena para mis amigos y para mí.

Ε.... όχι και ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων

Το κατάλυμα αυτό και στο site και στην είσοδο δήλωνε ότι είναι τετράστερο αλλά όλα τα στοιχεία του : δωμάτιο, έπιπλα, πρωινό, έλλειψη κοινόχρηστων χώρων ήταν μάλλον 2-3 αστέρων. Προσωπικά δεν θα ξαναπάω.

Goed voor enkele dagen.

Verkregen kamer bij aankomst was ondermaats, zeker niet naar verwachting zoals op de foto's. Nieuwe kamer gevraagd en gekregen. Deze was wel zoals de foto's , proper en goed. Ligging iets verder van de toeristische plekken en dus ook in een minder goed onderhouden buurt. Alles wel op wandelafstand van +- 15 min. Ontbijt was niet uitgebreid, maar voldoende.

Gutes Stadthotel

Vermutlich zum Hotel umgebautes Wohnhaus. Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Altstadt haben wir stets zu Fuß erreicht, je ca. 10-20 Minuten. Wer nicht Luxus sucht ist dort gut aufgehoben.

Unterkunft war sauber, Zimmer war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Frühstücksbüffet könnte besser sein.
