It is a very nicely remodeled hotel, simple and well thought out. I did not use the hot tub. I wish coffee would be available earlier than 7:30 (Maybe even 6am), and I would have appreciated fresh fruit as a breakfast option.

We would absolutely stay here again! We had a late check-in that they were gracious to accommodate and were very responsive. The place is a vibe with all design and decor decisions were all made with purpose from the property to our Pee-Wee Airstream. There were no surprises and the bathrooms for the campers were immaculate. When I finally had a chance to meet a staff member in the morning, she was very kind and helpful. We can’t wait to come back again!

Cute little motel with completely upgraded bathroom. Price was great, check in was easy. My only complaint was that the heat wouldn't go above 65. I turned it up to 70 on the thermostat, but it never went above 65. I was pretty cold when I was trying to fall asleep.(it was snowing) I didn't reach out to the staff to fix because it was late- so they may have been able to fix. Just stunk to be cold.

Our biggest concern was feeling cold during the night, but it ended up being warm, so definitely not complaining. Lastly, we weren’t sure how the restroom and shower facilities were going to work as they were outside, but it was SUPER clean and private.

Hot tub water was warm and hot tub was clean. Need a Keurig in the room for coffee. That’d be the only thing I’d suggest.

I liked the platform style bed because it was comfortable and staff can easily vacuum under them. Kudos to the tile setter. FYI on the go breakfast is a choice of B’fast bars and fresh hot coffee.

Really nice upgrade of a classic motel along the Rainbow Highway in Salida. The room was super comfortable with really nice touches. The bathroom was super clean with a nice tub and good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows are terrible and need to be replaced (not to mention that they are too small for a king bed). Also, the A/C is far too small for the room, and the room was very warm, so if you need a cool room to sleep, I recommend opening the window, even in the winter. I do wish that they had the top-down, bottom-up shades so you can have privacy with an open window, but I do like the shades they have as they let in a nice, diffuse light. The common area for playing games and just chilling is wonderful, and is great for groups staying in different rooms. The service was awesome and the staff super friendly.

Love this place. They have just the right amount of style, funk, and sass—super fun boutique motel. We stayed in one of the Airstreams. Although you don't have running water, the shared bathrooms were super clean and had everything you needed. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple. I wish they had a bit more, but not a deal breaker, since there are a ton of great restaurants in Salida to pick from. Great location too!

Great service!! Super unique. Very clean. You can park your car right next to your room or Airstream. The Airstream Diana had a TV in it and was a very short walk to the very clean and private restrooms. Even on Thanksgiving break we never had to wait for the restrooms. Each one has a toilet and a shower that is private. Salida is such a cute and quaint town. My kid and I took a cool hike on the Sand Dunes trailhead only 10 min. away. They offer water and coffee plus grabbable breakfast. Definitely a hidden gem!!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. We stayed in the Merle Airstream and it was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, etc. We sat in the lobby in the hanging chairs and relaxed for a long time.

I travel for work. Always stay with a major chain. That chain isn’t here so rolled the dice at the Amigo. Couldn’t be happier. Clean. That’s first for me. Spacious room. Comfortable. Easy parking. Great staff. Kate is the best. And to top it off as needed grab when you want glass water bottles from the lobby fridge. I’d stay longer but the word is out and no availability for my stay in Salida. I stayed here with my family for a one night stop over on our way to another destination in Colorado. I wanted to stay int he Airstream but it was a bit tight so the front desk let us move to a standard motel room with 2 queen beds.

Great for a Couple's Getaway!
This was such a unique and fun stay! Check in was super easy and quick. The Velma was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities. I was initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but encountered no issues of waiting or sharing. They were clean and available!

Amigo Motor Lodge in Salida delivers on style, comfort, and hospitality. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room was spotless, and the décor felt thoughtfully curated. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the shared spaces (hot tub, lounge areas, etc.) made it easy to unwind. Even without on-site dining, the quality of the stay and attention to detail make this a place I’d gladly return to.

Our stay at the Amigo was lovely. We were in Salida for two nights and absolutely loved the Amigo. Our room was clean and in perfect condition. I love that we had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths. There was always someone available to help with anything we needed. Love the fridge and fan in the room too. Sheets could have been better. Bamboo sheets on Amazon are fab!

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in an airstream room. They had a hot tub available. Breakfast was muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal, grab and go style. Everyone was very friendly.
