We love this motel because their property is clean. We have stayed here a few times the ladt couple of years and rooms are clean. Staff are pleasant. Parking is right at the motel and easy to access. We did not use the pool this time but it did look clean as it usualy does.

We loved our stay at Surf House! We did not have to get in the car at all from the day we got there to when we left because of how walkable the area is! We got everywhere on foot. Staff was friendly, room was clean, simple, and modern. Not huge rooms, but you’re there to be outside so who cares. The only thing I will note is the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you and above or below you. From snoring to yelling. If that bothers you, just consider it. Otherwise, we are going back next summer!

Beautiful rims and pool very friendly staff my only complaint is that the rugs in my room were stained and pretty unsightly both under the bed and in the bathroom. Also there was a mop bucket in the outdoor shower filled with gross dirty water the entire duration of my stay (Thursday-Sunday)

Young man working in the lobby was very pleasant and helpful. Went out of his way to recommend a great restaurant and give us directions. Room was updated with a “beachy” motif. I would have given 5 stars for cleanliness if it weren’t for the spider web/spider in the window and handful of insects we had to kill. The bed was very comfortable and the pool area was very clean and shielded from the street with plants. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was decent and you could walk to all the restaurants and the casino. The room was not sound proof and we could hear the people in the room next to us talking and vice versa. Also, little kids were running in front of our room and it sounded like they were running inside our room. The cleaners did not clean the shower or the sink well because there was mold in the shower and the sink handle was dirty. I was not impressed for the price.

This was our first time staying since the renovations were finished. The pool was clean and exactly what we needed. The rooms were up to date and clean. The bed was literally SO comfortable. Only thing they were missing was a few BBQ’s and you wouldn’t need to leave. The lounge chairs at the pool were nice and there was actually enough for everyone unlike other places. We can’t wait to go back.

Exceptional quality in Hampton Beach
Surf House was a great last minute find, and perfect for our needs. Our 2 bedroom suite was beautifully renovated with nice finishes. Mattresses were very comfortable. Just a few small critiques. The glass shower door in one bedroom was off the hinge and not functional upon arrival, but was fixed promptly the next day when we reported it. The pull out sofa had crumbs in it and popcorn on the floor below. And the blanket for use with the pull out needed to be laundered (there were obvious food stains on it). The metal bar under the mattress also made it uncomfortable for my 19 year old, but probably would be fine for younger kids. The beautiful wood floors made for a lot of noise - the group below us woke us early our first morning. They were VERY noisy. Sounded like a herd of elephants was doing an Irish step dance. Maybe add some throw rugs to dampen the noise. All in all minor issues .

I go up a few times a year and this is the only place I stay at. The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and cozy. You are walking distance to everything. Walk to the beach in the morning, set up your stuff and then go about your day. The pool is nice to have to relax and cool off after the beach. Always an outstanding trip!

Was surprised at how small the room was. The pool pictures online make it look much bigger and more well-appointed than it is. Likely good if you have small kids and don’t care about atmosphere. Everything is a big parking lot. It is a block from the beach. So it is convenient, but it is also loud. Seems like large groups tend to come. I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Surf House is a wonderful little gem in a fantastic location. The property is beautiful, the staff is kind and attentive, and the rooms are clean and efficient. Having the pool to enjoy before and after a day at the beach was a major plus. My family looks forward to staying here on our future trips to Hampton Beach.
