I have spent several trips at property and it is a hidden gem amongst a commercial and mobile home neighborhood. They provide a shuttle into city that works for clients seeking dinner, offshore daily trips etc. Pools are nicely built each on backside of building, quiet, comfortable and surrounding a beautiful marina. There is a nice walkway along ocean on east side. The only issue I dealt with this time was condition of my room. 1st floor unit overlooking middle pool and marina. The carpet had a 6”x 6” wear hole, the window curtains were stained in several areas and bathroom plumbing was a challenge. Place seems, since my first visit, to be in need of upgrade and maintenance. Great staff all around, keep eye on tips for eatery it includes 18%? I usually leave 20% or more?

In a review from the hotel asking about the same thing you’re asking. I did put in a suggestion, but not a complaint that I felt the showers were somewhat dangerous. There were no handrails or the title was not a slip free. There weren’t tubs so little children and families would be in there and I felt that they needed to do something with that. I’m in the medical profession and I felt that this should be looked into. I would definitely go back to this hotel. I won’t eat at the restaurant. The prices are obnoxious.

Our once-in-a-lifetime family trip was deeply disappointing because of our experience with the restaurant staff at Oceans Edge Resort & Marina Key West. Their rude and unprofessional behavior had a major negative impact on what should have been a special vacation.

We chose to eat most of our meals at the resort for convenience, but unfortunately, each interaction left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. We did our best not to let it ruin our trip, but it was hard to overlook given how often we had to deal with the restaurant staff.

The property itself has potential, but management needs to take a serious look at the employees representing the dining experience. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this property on our next trip to Key West. If I could rate the restaurant staff lower, I would.

Loved the hotel. Room bright and fresh. Liked the pool area and the games provided. Watching the boats come into the marina each day was fun too. The restaurant was perfect for lunch. Great service all around. The shuttle works very well. One blip when it left early and we had to wait an hour for the next one.

The hotel’s location is its biggest strength—far enough from the noise and crowds of Duval Street, which made for a much more peaceful stay. The property itself is clean overall, and the ocean views from the room (sailboats and catamarans) are truly beautiful.

That said, there were some drawbacks. My bathroom had a noticeable sewer smell, and I even saw a sewer fly, which should have been addressed prior to arrival. While staff did respond and attempt to fix it, this shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. The gym is very small, and pool service was lacking, as attendants were not very attentive.

The hotel restaurant was good, and staff were generally responsive when concerns were raised. There is also a shuttle available, but it would be much more convenient if it ran more frequently in the evenings (every 30 minutes rather than hourly), as it gets crowded with guests heading downtown.

Overall, the hotel itself is clean, well-located, and has a lot of positives. However, I likely wouldn’t return to Key West—not because of the hotel, but simply because the overall vibe isn’t my scene.

We loved Ocean's Edge! The pools were beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were nice and spacious although I wish there was more space for clothing. The amenities were awesome- we took advantage of the free kayaking but also did the mangrove Kayak tour with Andy and it was great- he was so informative and took us through a lot of amazing mangroves. Highly recommend that tour! The food was really good, definitely pricey but we did not see one place in Key West that wasn't pricey. We had 5 kids with us, and they loved all the activities including the sand art and coconut painting. We rented golf carts to take to downtown Key West and that was fun- highly recommend! I also recommend going to Smathers Beach- we spent two days at this gorgeous beach and it was only a 10 minute golf cart ride, there is lots of parking on the street near the beach. Overall if you are looking for a nice family vacation in Key West, I would 100% recommend staying here. It is quiet, kid friendly with lots to do.

Hotel is OK but staff and management are the worst I’ve seen. They do charges at credit card they have on file without authorization and when asked the just yell at you. It’s too bad that there are 3 employees there that are the nicest. The concierge, one of the attendants at the restaurant and one of the security guards. Those 2 should be running that hotel and for sure would be better. I won’t come back there ever. By the way. When I got there my reservation was not possible to be seen due to a problem between Expedia and the hotel and when I told the “manager” about that the answer was that it’s not their problem. That is was MY problem and that was yelling at me

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Our room was a good size however there were some stains in the carpet and once we had to ask for washcloths that housekeeping forget to replace. although when we reach out to get more they brought them up to us
The water pressure in the shower was weak.
At times we had to go look for towels at the pool and the service at the pool was hit or miss for those reasons we give 4 stars vs 5 stars.
The shuttle to downtown Key West was great and the drivers were fantastic!

Our patio door wouldn’t close , stayed on the first floor so it was a little uncomfortable.
Room service forgot to leave fresh towels, never refills Kcup coffee, when asked receptionist they gave us tea.
Nice and comfortable room without even a spoon, so why have a kitchen?
They had a rib cook off on Sunday then a wedding on Thursday so not for people trying to enjoy the resort and rest.

We booked this property not knowing that its about 20 minutes ourside of Key West. They do have a shuttle running every hour, which is nice, but I would not stay there again due to the distance from Key West and some other reasons, which have to do with customer service of the manager Claudia. We had a 3rd floor water view. The room was nice, but the shower water was trickling and there was some mold in the shower. Not too pleasant, especially when paying $600 per night. What was really unpleasant is the way the manager Claudia handled a bill discrepancy when we were checking out. We thought we paid in full with Expedia booking, but apparently Expedia did not charge and it was a property pay. Claudia was very dismissive and had a smirk on her face all the while we tried to contact Expedia to avoid a double charge. Really did not appreciate the attitude. We will not be returning to this property. Also located in an industrial area. Marina water is dirty.

It was a very beautiful hotel with a marina. There were 6 pools and they were great! All were heated and they were very attentive with the food, towels, drinks etc. The restaurant was good too but limited. I wish that their hours were a bit longer. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the keys. Wish that there was a lock on the bathroom and a mirror in the bedroom area. Staff was friendly and the maid staff was exceptional. We would definitely come back.

The air conditioning was broken and when we asked for a discount on the room they said they couldn't because we booked it through Expedia, but did discount the daily resort fee and parking. They gave us temporary air conditioning units but the sliding door was unhinged and hurt my hand opening it because it was disconnected. The temp air conditioning unit was super janky, loud and didn't cover the living space. Really disappointed with their customer service. Also, the water pressure in the shower is so low it's hard to get the conditioner out of your hair. And the restaurant staff all seemed to be having a bad day. The good stuff...views were amazing. Vibe is very calm and peaceful. The staff at the tiki hut with the kayaks and paddle boards were the best! Paddle boarding in the bay was super fun. The beds were cozy and the bath robes were the most comfortable we've ever worn. Overall okay due to beautiful location but wouldn't recommend based on attitude of customer service.

Beautiful clean rooms. Relaxing vibe. Great views. Very kid friendly from our 12 year old to our 5 year old. Nice that it is close to all the hot spots yet tucked away from the hussel and bussel as well. Definitely will be visiting again!

Room was spotless, light airy feel throughout the space. The view out our balcony elevated our entire stay! Attention to details upon arrival, soft music playing on the tv with a personalized welcome greeting. Resort was beautiful and well maintained, their landscaping was eye candy for this Ohio girl. We look forward to our next visit, thanks for the hospitality Oceans Edge!

The resort is absolutely amazing and impeccably clean. There are many amenities, cold water at the pool, plenty of towels, padded lounge chairs and covered cabanas. Hang out at the pool was great, they had a great mix of music playing as well. The staff from our welcome until checkout we’re outstanding! All the people there are very caring and are helpful with whatever your needs may be. The yellowfin restaurant on site is very good, highly recommend the salad and catch of the day. So accommodating and there are a few restaurants within a mile walking distance from the resort. The shuttle which brings you to downtown is very helpful and runs on the hour. Very pleased with our stay and hopefully we’ll be back soon.

The room was spotless. The resort was quiet and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. Check in and check out went very smoothly.

My only complaints were that I was unable to order in-room breakfast as the phone was never answered. Also, the edges of the mattress were pretty soft.

The room was very nice and homey feeling. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed breakfast lunch and diner at the restaurant the Waite staff was very friendly and food was good. We enjoyed the shuttle that is offered the drivers were knowledgeable about the island and history. Jeffery was the best. We would definitely stay there again.

Oceans Edge Resort was a dream place to stay. I was shocked at the size of our room. It spanned from one side of the building to the other with a living room, coffee bar & sink, huge bathroom, massive bedroom, balcony overlooking the pools and marina & even fluffy robes. It couldn't have been any better. We were just steps from the restaurant and coffee bar. We loved being just a little removed from Key West but able to get their in just a few minutes. There were numerous pools which was both beautiful and made me feel like we had our own private pool. We loved sitting on our balcony and reading. This resort definitely enhanced our trip.
