Lovely guesthouse in Yeosu

I absolutely love this place! It’s run by the owner and his mum, who are so kind and helpful. It’s very quiet and clean, but there’s a social scene if you want it (the owners run a bar across the street). Highly recommended!

This is such a lovely guesthouse in Yeosu! The owners (a man and his mother) are super friendly and there to help you with whatever you need. The room was clean and had everything you need amenities-wise, plus the guesthouse has things like a kitchen and washing machine available. It was quiet enough to get a quality night’s sleep, but there’s a bar across the street from the hostel if you want to hang out with other guests. I thoroughly recommend this place for any travellers who want a peaceful stay but with the warm feeling of a kind welcome.

게스트하우스는 처음 가 봤는데 좋은 기억 가득 담고 왔어요 :) 사장님 두 분 완전 친절하시고 건물 입구부터 넘 예뻐서 기분도 더 좋았어요! 숙소도 깔끔하고 공간 충분하고 쾌적해서 편히 머물다 왔습니다~ 추천해요!

Great location, with the Yeosu expo and the Big-O only a few minutes walk away! They have a great lounge area as well and I didn’t feel like breakfast was too crowded, which sometimes happens at hostels. I met two wonderful girls and we went around the town together, it was such a great experience of a far corner of the country that I was hesitant to explore. Thanks for making it possible backpackers! :)

Close to Hero Street

I loved the stay, about 10 to 15 minute walk to Hero Street and maybe another 5 to the river front. The only thing I didn't like was the curfew at 11 AM and the quiet plea to be back by 1 AM. I didn't see this information on the hostels.com, but it didn't really effected me because I came back by 1 AM. Still, I like the option to not worry about being back for a time. I don't think the curfew is taken seriously, but there it is.

Best guesthouse I stayed.

Having trouble to get to the guesthouse as their no train available in Yeosu but it walkable from Yeosu-Expo (about 15 min walk). It's not hard to find as the guesthouse is so well decorated and they even have a bar right opp them (you get a discount if you are staying in the guesthouse).

Comfortable place to stay

My friend and I were the only foreigner in the guest home as I think. Luckily, I know some Korean and speak little because 99% of them spoke Korean to us.. A host was trying to speak our language to make us understand..Even other guests thought we were Korean and asked us some question on the morning in the kitchen..It was so funny. I think this place is easy find and convenient to go to other attraction.

My stay in Backpackers Yeosu when I was in kOREA.

My stay at backpackers hostel was really worth the price that I paid for. The host family was very accommodating, although a bit hard up in speaking non-Korean language. Over-all my stay was very fruitful especially having to deal with many Koreans during breakfast time, telling stories about their culture and everyday happenings around Yeosu and other parts of Korea. I was able to meet also a Filipino friend who is working at the hostel. She was kind and helped me further understand the Korean culture and how to deal with these people in just a short time. She drove me around Yeosu and tried to let me meet other Filipino friends who now reside in Korea. I will recommend to my other friends who are visiting Korea to stay in Backpackers Yeosu for a comfortable and cheap stay.

I had a super convenient, clean, and comfortable stay.
There's a bus stop right behind the hostel, making it easy to get around. You can reach popular destinations like Hyangiram Hermitage, Odongdo Island, Yeosu Expo Station, and Yeosu Airport directly by bus.
Jinnamgwan Hall and Yi Sunsin Square are also accessible—just a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride away.
Right across the street, there’s a supermarket where you can buy food, fresh vegetables, and daily essentials. Highly recommended for backpackers or solo travelers.

Très joli hostel .coin calme . Bus à proximité Le propio est sympa et parle anglais . La chambre/dortoir est un peu petite pour 4 ,pas de rangement pour les valises . La sdb est assez grande dommage qu'il n'y ai pas d'étagère pour poser nos affaires .

평범하게 괜찮았던 숙소.

가족여행으로 묵었는데 청결했고, 서비스도 평범했어요. 다만 룸 들어가자마자 곱등이,,,가 반겨줘서 때려잡느라 고생을 좀 했네요.. 아마 반지하를 터서 만든 방이라 창문이나 문틈으로 들어온 게 아닐까 싶어요. 룸이 꽤 넓었고, 화장실도 깨끗해서 그것 말고는 정말 괜찮았던 숙소에요. 체크인을 늦게까지 받으시는 것도 좋았고요.

사진상으로 본거에 비해 협소하고, 무엇보다 주차장이 작아
주차가 불가능함

그리고 객실 방음도 잘되지 않아 , 옆 객실 소음이 다 들림
아침 조식이라고 하기에도 창피할 정도임.

서비스도 그닥.. 친절하지 않고, 응대하는 직원인지 대표인지는 모르겠지만 말투가 다소 건방짐(반말투)

Really nice place. Everything was perfect! The place is really clean, tidy and well kept. The bed was very confy with everything you need for yohr stay. They also have a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. They also provide a nice breakfast

KTX를 이용하여 여행하기에는 역에서 걸어서 충분한거리였으며 주변 식당 이용도 용이함..
침대매트리스가 넘 불편해서 덮는 이불을 깔고 잠을 잠 매트리스가 교체 돤다면 다시 이용 할 의향 있음

백팩커스라는 이름에 맞지않게(?) 시설이 잘 되어있고 깨끗합니다. 엘리베이터있고 주방도 넓어요~ 더블룸 방이 그리 크진 않았지만 하루 쉬고가기 좋았어요.

시설이 굉장히 깔끔하고 쾌적합니다.사장님께서도 매우 친절하셨어요.고양이도 키우시는데 고먐미 개냥이입니다.아니 그냥 개에요. 티비도 크고 잘나와서 밤에 영화도 봤네요.. 수압도 쎄서 샤워할때 편하구 샤워용품 구비해주셔서 샴푸 바디워시 린스 해결됩니다.수건도 많이 놔주셔서 수건사치좀 부려봤네요. 이불도 매우 깨끗합니다.다만 침대는 좀 딱딱합니다. 저는 평소 집에서 바닥에서 잠자서 상관없었지만요.예민하신분들은 뒤척이실듯.이런분들은 한방에 잠들수있게 하루종일 걸어다니세요.
앞건물에서 펍을 운영하셔서 여행오신분들과 이야기도 나눌수있어요. 저는 나누지 않았지만 펍 내부도 이뻐서 갬성 돋는것같네염..
아침도 식빵2개 ,버터,케찹,딸기잼,계란1개,우유,오렌지주스 무료제공해주십니당. 먹고나서 설거지는 본인이 해야해요.
방안에 미니냉장고가 있긴한데 시원찮아서 중앙 냉장고 이용하세용

젊은 친구들끼리 갔다면 모를까, 아이와 같이 있으신 분들은 거리가 애매합니다. 차타고 가려니 주차가 힘들것 같고 걸어 돌아다니는건 애가 힘들어했습니다. 냉장고가 고장나 있었는데, 직원 친절하고 나름 괜찮았습니다. 아침은 오렌지쥬스.유유. 식빵. 계란.쨈.이 있었고 셀프서비스입니다. 계란 직접 굽고 설거지 직접하고. 점수를 많이 깎은 이유는, 급하게 예매를 했고 성수기여서 그런가 지금 보이는 가격보다 두배 가까이 비싸게 주고 예약을 했네요. 8.1원에 침대 2개 개인룸.
