The most friendly and welcoming hotel we have ever stayed at. I would recommend this hotel. It is in a safe and quiet area easy access to airport, shops, restaurants, etc. room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we rebooked and stayed again

One of the best hotels to stay in Dhaka. It is located in the secure Banani residential area making it a very safe place. The staff were the best we met, always smiling and extremely helpful. The front reception staff were all exceptional, thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Very nice restaurant with good breakfast selection and ideal for lunch/dinner. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. This was our second stay at the hotel, we returned as we enjoyed our first stay so much and were so happy when we were offered a free upgrade of rooms when we checked in.

The staff was amazing, Rajesh at the front desk and two ladies that were also there were always attentive and helpful. Fahim assisted us at the airport and it felt like a breeze getting through the check points and check in counter.

The selection of food available for breakfast was awesome, and the staff from the restaurant were always attentive.

The location of the hotel was walkable to many shops and restaurants and it felt safe to do so at night.

The staff in every aspect of this hotel are amazing! Whether greeting at the door or hallway or completing a breakfast order, each staff member was friendly and quick-to-help. Breakfast was a great price and had a big variety of items to choose from, in addition to made-to-order omelettes, oatmeal, or pancakes. The airport shuttle service was a huge help for our group. The bed was comfortable and, though the air conditioner didn’t seem to change temperature levels, it kept the room a cool retreat to come back to. I would definitely stay here again, top choice!

It's conveniently close to Kemal Atatürk Ave, which has many coffee shops, places to hang out. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a small gym, with basic equipment - good for a quick workout.

The waterflow in the shower drainage wasn't great, often resulting in a pool of water that you're standing in, waiting to clear.

The staff was very kind and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning and shower worked well. Room service was prompt and tasty. The breakfast was adequate. The elevator broke while I was in it, and I had to be rescued and climb out! The spa was closed both times I went, and the gym was dark. It seemed like about half of the hotel wasn't being used.

This hotel is ideally located within close proximity to shopping areas, restaurants and the very beautiful Banani Jamia Masjid which was about a 10min walk. The area is very clean and safe.

The Hotel offer complementary airport pick-up and chargeable airport drop which was very handy. The staff go above and beyond to help and assist.

The room and bathroom was completely spotlessly clean and the complementary juice and sweets made me feel very welcomed.

The gym was overall quite well equipped, however, I would recommend they add a regular adjustable weight bench instead of the current one they have.

I would likely stay again in the near future.

This is a pretty good mid-level hotel for one or two nights in Dhaka. We are a family of 4 and were looking for one room. The problem is that most 5-star hotels don't have a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 7 yrs old). Interestingly, this hotel has a queen-queen room, which can accommodate our needs. The beds are actually queen bed size, which is a plus. The rooms are a bit dated and our bathroom was quite small. The biggest issue was air conditioning unit noise. The unit itself was very old.

The breakfast was reasonably ok with not much varieties.

On the real positives, the services from the hotel staffs along with the airport pickup and drop-off, were top-notch.

Overall, it was a positive experience.

Good place to stay if you are on a diet

If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay in a popular area, then look no further! The rooms are good and the staff is very nice and helpful. However, the food variety is limited. The food taste is okay, but the portion size is the smallest in the world - or maybe they just didn't serve me well! All in all, this is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in a popular area.

Being from the US, everything about being in Dhaka is unique and sometimes strange, but The Royal Park Residence Hotel was home away from home for the week and was wonderful. The room was clean and had all typical US amenities. While the hotel is not in a new building, the interiors appeared to have been updated and modernized fairly recently (as in the photos). The electrical outlets are 220 V, but had universal sockets, so adaptors were not required. Wifi worked, staff was welcoming, gracious, and knowledgeable. Security is robust with fulltime guard and door attendant etc., The restaurant was fantastic with an extensive menu. Everything we tried was delicious. While I didn't have a chance to swim, the pool area looked like a great place to relax and maybe cool off (as in the photos).

Need improvement in service level

The overall experience hasn’t been really at the level of my expectations. Due to the price and the higher star rating (4.5), I have chosen this hotel for the first time while I came to Bangladesh before.

The first impression was good, but we then have encountered several problems. I had to change the room after the first night as the aircon didn’t work. Internet also didn’t work for almost 14 hours and then has been cut again on the last day. The signal was pretty weak in the room anyway. The worst part of my stay there is probably when I have booked a car for bringing me to the airport and it came with 40 minutes delay adding a lot of stress to finally get my flight at the very last second.

I am a retired airline pilot and have stayed in many 5 star hotels worldwide and have stayed in several in Dhaka. I much prefer to stay in small hotels with good facilities and staff. The Royal Park Residence is an excellent place to stay. In a pleasant quiet area of Dhaka close to Gulshan. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and we were well looked after by helpful friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and gracious, and mitigated the demands of a difficult business trip.
The hotel is very informal and relaxed and a welcome relief from the traffic-blocked streets of Dhaka.
The hotel could really do with an update for its decor and facilities, but it was great value for money.

Comfortable hotel in quiet location

I stayed two nights and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room I stayed was nicely furnished- the European décor somewhat unusual in Dhaka. The place appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. Although my room was on the second floor facing the street no noise was noted. The only disadvantage was the fact that there are very few eating places in immediate walking distance- 10 minutes walk does take you to a major street but this is more commercial shops. Overall happy to recommend this place and will stay again if I return to Dhaka.

Hotel car was there even when my flight was delayed then changed at the last minute to another airline they were there!!! The staff assisted me in the airport the next morning to secure another ticket for my journey home , I was really glad I opted to stay here , they know how important there guests are UNLIKE OTHER HOTELS IN DHAKA.

Exceptional quality, service, and value

Exceptional quality stay, excellent staff, meals and facilities. Have used a variety of hotels in Dhaka when looking for short break, and this one came highly recommended from a friend. I was NOT disappointed, and although it was a 'discounted booking' it proved excellent value for money with room upgrade included. Attentive professional staff team, high quality accommodation and good food at value for money prices. Run by a Sri Lankan family who clearly know what expatriates need and value, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. Will now definitely consider making this my preferred hotel on future trips.

Ieri sera Appena rientrato dal lavoro mi accorgo che avevano tolto la tv dalla mia camera dicendo che era guasta, cosa non vera perche la mattina funzionava
