Due to an internet malfunction our room was booked twice.After asking the manager for a refund, with a smirk on his face he told us to take it up with Hotels.Com even though he had pocketed the money. We had booked bed and breakfast then he asked us for an additional E.9.80 for an second breakfast. No mention of this in the booking itinerary and has never happened at any other hotel. After 30 minutes we received an e mail from reception offering us the additional breakfast FOC as compensation for booking the room twice. HOW INSULTING! after we had paid £67.45 twice. We also noted when booking that there was supposed to be a mini bar included in every room. After mentioning this to the girl on reception she told us that none of the rooms had a mini bar. It would appear this hotel is run on con tricks inspired by the manager .

First, the Hotel Chris'tel's location is excellent if you're touring Le Puy on Velay's old city streets, a short, pleasant walk away. You can walk through a nice park or straight down the street five minutes and you're there. The staff are very helpful with answers to any question you have. For us, it was necessary to change rooms because the TV in the first didn't work. All of this was accomplished quickly and easily. Our only challenge was the fact that we arrived in intense heat, and while the hotel staff supplied us with a fan on request, we were longing for air conditioning.

The property was several blocks out of the town center, but certainly very walkable to everything in town. We stayed two nights prior walking the chemin de st Jacque (Camino). The staff was very helpful with this non French speaking old couple. We'd return to this hotel.

We needed a hotel for one night near to the old town centre. This was within walking distance across a park and turned out to fit the bill at a very reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful. We also ate in the hotel restaurant, which was good.

We stayed in room #402 for two nights. It is a large room with twin beds. There is a refrigerator, desk, a luggage rack, closet for hanging and shelves, and two chairs. There is a separate toilet room, and there is a bathtub shower combination with room next to the sink for personal items. A hairdryer is also supplied in the bathroom. There is free parking on site and free WIFI. The hotel also has a restaurant. The hotel is located in the center of Puy-en-Velay and is walking distance to the major tourist sites.

L’hôtel est très bien situé et avec parking. On peut aller facilement dans la ville à pied. Le personnel est sympathique. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le lit est confortable. L’isolation phonique est correcte. Nous avons apprécié cet hôtel et avons prolongé facilement d’une nuit.

L'hôtel est bien situé et offre l'avantage d'un parking gratuit, ce qui est très pratique pour les voyageurs. Toutefois, l'isolation phonique, surtout au niveau des portes, laisse à désirer et peut affecter la qualité du séjour. Un autre point décevant concerne leur non-participation à l'ambiance du \"Roi de l'Oiseau\", un événement local. J'ai également remarqué un manque de cohérence en matière d'écologie : malgré les consignes affichées pour la réutilisation des serviettes dans le but de préserver l'environnement, celles-ci sont systématiquement changées.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr gut in Schuss und sauber. Das Frühstück verfügt über eine große Auswahl und hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Die Lage ist super - weniger als 10 Minuten bis zur Altstadt.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Nous étions venus pour visiter la ville. Le quartier où se trouve l'hôtel n'a rien d'extraordinaire, mais il n'est pas très éloigné du centre ville. Nous avons regretté également une robinetterie défaillante dans la salle de bain.

1 seule nuit sur place ne m'a paru suffisante pour profiter de cet hôtel plein de charme et de confort. Ne vous fiez pas à l'extérieur de l'hôtel, les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie très bonne. Très grande salle de bains.

Accueil agréable, chambre et sdb nickelles et modernes avec une entrée permettant d'être très isolé des éventuels bruits de couloir. Hotel calme et petit déjeuner avec du choix. Pas décu. Bonne adresse. Le personnel est très agréable, ce qui donne encore plus envie d'y revenir.

Bien dans l'ensemble, seulement très mauvaise isolation de l'hotel en interne. On peut entendre toutes les portes de l'étage se fermer, sachant que ces portes mènent dans un hall qui raisonne.

Bien mais manque climatisation
Bon hôtel très bien situé mais plus cher de 20 euros su place le jour même, donc que si nous n'avions pas réservé par le site! Il manque la climatisation, il faisait très chaud et il fut très difficile de dormir. Sinon tout est très bien.
