Falta comunicación, entre los de la oficina con el personal de seguridad, ellos son atentos pero la primera noche no tuvieron buena comunicación y tuvimos que Dormir fuera de el Hotel por que habíamos hablado con el que nos hizo la revisión que llegaríamos tarde ya que nuestro vuelo tardaba más de lo normal y no nos abrieron el portón hablamos con ceguridad y ellos no estaban enterados de lo sucedido, la ducha está mal no tira agua , el restaurante 1800 no sirve la comida todo el tiempo llegó fría la comida, el lugar si está hermoso lo recomiendo, pero si tuvieran el acceso a la puerta de el parque más tardes sería mejor.

The location is phenomenal. I would stay here again just for the beautiful views and spacious rooms with patio. However, there was no hot water in our rooms and when I inquired the staff instructed me to play with the electrical panel breakers in the room closets. The water never heated despite following their instructions. The TVs didn’t work which we wanted to use since everything shuts down at 8pm and you’re trapped on site without comfortable common areas to hang out after dinner. Also, the food in the restaurant is not very good and the service during breakfast the morning we checked out was pretty awful. It took 45mins to get our basic breakfast after ordering even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

My stay at Casa 1800 Cerro Verde was absolutely unforgettable. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the volcanoes and surrounding nature that make you feel completely at peace. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and dining with such incredible views was a highlight of the trip. If you’re looking for a unique getaway surrounded by nature and amazing scenery, I highly recommend Casa 1800 Cerro Verde. I can’t wait to visit again!

This property was incredible and surpassed all our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and our room was immaculate. Upon checking in, we were able to be added to a guided tour/hike of the Santa Ana volcano the next day, which we highly recommend. The restaurant had an amazing view and the food was some of the best we had on our entire trip. All the employees were so hospitable and kind. I have nothing but good things to say about Casa 1800!

The staff was incredibly helpful. They helped us organize our hike to Santa Ana volcano. The hotel was inside the national park and was very convenient. The free breakfast was great. The room was very spacious, included comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was very spacious and modern as well. I would easily stay here again if I visit Santa Ana.

Only issue is the television in the bedroom, it should be in the living room. Especially if more than one guest. Also, there should be written instructions on how to use the television. We had to settle for what we could find.

Wow!! What a gorgeous property. We had a volcano view room but really you couldn’t see the volcano. First of all it was foggy most of the time but also you would have to go to the end of your “yard” to look over the hedges. Not sure if our yard was nicer than the forest view. Perhaps, as it is stunning!!
It is very cold up there but so refreshing.
The biggest advantage of Casa 1800 is that you can start your hikes before anyone else. We did both Santa Ana and Izalco. Both were amazing.

Non attentive staff hotel and restaurant.
We thought we booked for 3 people but they only had 2 for reservations. The clerk said it would be $15 a night then changed it to $25 a night then when I pulled out cash she changed it to $50 per night.
Laundry service is $2 per garment. Would have cost us $30 for a load of laundry.
No AC during the day
No heater for night
No hot water in shower, hotel provided soaps had broken handles, now weary that they will charge us for them.
Constant Gurgling sounds from plumbing that can be heard from our beds.
Nickel and dime you for everything including Having to pay to watch tv.
When you sign in there’s a list of possible charges like $400 wine spills, $50 stained towel fee, $50 stained pillowcase fee, on and on. We were hesitant to touch or use anything so they could up charge us.
Bed too soft for back support, Sagging in the middle
Loud music in dining room and could not enjoy an intimate dinner or have a conversation. “Silverware was absolutely cheapest metal utensils I’ve ever used. Great plates and bowls but cheap utensils.
Random wild dogs wandering in and out of the restaurant begging for food.
No privacy, large windows without curtains or blinds, people in parking lot looking into our room.
No swimming pool or hot tubs.
I would not stay here again.

The rooms are clean and nicely maintained, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. However, the only downside is that there isn't much to do at night. Two nights are sufficient if you're planning to do some hiking, as there's nothing much beyond the view from the restaurant and hiking trails up the hill. The property doesn't have a pool for children, so my kids had little to do; they weren't particularly interested in the view. If you're bringing kids, be aware that there aren't many activities suitable for them. There's a small park nearby, but it caters only to children aged 2 to 6.

The hotel looks good, but it was mostly just an aesthetic place. My room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was really bad, the hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best, and I had a big beautiful porch with no furniture outside. The restaurant staff ignored me until another guest asked them to give me service. The views were phenomenal.

The view of Cerro Verde National Park is amazing. The best view ever.The property is well maintained Make it sure to have jacket because it is cold at night and early morning. The restaurant food is mediocre. The room is a bit outdated, lots of things missing in the room. No lotion, no kleenex or tissue, the room has only one side table, the pillows look like 10 years old, please invest a new pillows or a nicer one. I thinknthey have problem with water heater, shampoo, conditioner and handwash pump are broken, no face cloth. Toilet tank need to open everytime after you flush the water is not running. There was a strong moldy smell the moment we enter the room. Outside patio is not clean. We stayed at room 102. I'm glad we only book for 1 night. We checked out right after breakfast nothing to do anymore. Overall the view of the volcano is fantastic.

Food and staff at the restaurant were awful. They are the only restaurant if you’re staying at the hotel. Staff was rude at the restaurant and the food was absolutely atrocious multiple times thinking it would get better so much that we left a night early could not eat there again.
House cleaning was amazing hotel staff was OK, but I’ll informed of events on their mountain. I would say they were not super friendly, but courteous.

My experience was underwhelming. I stayed at three different hotels while on my tour of El Salvador. The hotel itself has magnificent views of the volcano, but thats all they have to offer. I stayed here two nights with the expectation to hike santa ana volcano. Unfortunately, the staff was not knowledgeable and I received misinformation the entire trip. Every staff member said something different, I had to go and speak to the Santa Ana volcano workers to receive some honesty. Apparently the volcano was closed for some ceremony and the hotel knew well in advanced. The staff at casa 1800 still made it appear that it was closed for weather related purposes by telling us that was the reason. They told us all tours and the volcano was closed the entire day of 01/20. Upon speaking to the santa ana staff, they informed us that the volcano open and groups did make it to the top that morning. We feel lied to and disappointed because we spent money on two nights there for the purpose of hiking the volcano. If the hotel staff would of been transparent/ knowledgeable from the beginning we would of been able to do the hike. Other notes: the restaurant is mid tier and there are no amenities on the property. If you don’t hike there is not a single thing for you to do.

No view of the volcano from our room #109 and the restaurant food came out cold, except for the greasy soup it was hot. I definitely would not return to this hotel. -water pressure very very low in the shower
- WiFi spotty
- no local TV you need to connect to Netflix if you wish to watch something.
-shampoo and body wash do not foam at all.

Food was ok - the selection is not great lots of American dishes when you go there to try more salvadorean food. Husband got sick after one dinner unsure if it was the meat or the beans.

This hotel is modern and initially has the wow factor. It’s in a peaceful and lovely location. The bed was comfortable and the staff are friendly. But there are quite a few things that could be improved. The shower was weak, hot water unreliable, Wi-Fi poor, no hooks to hang towels, only 2 clothes hangers provided and only one bedside table and parking was a bit of an afterthought. The food in the restaurant was ok but came to the table warm at best.

We loved the view! The room's safe wasn't working and was removed from the wall unfortunately. There was also nowhere to hang clothes, towels or other fabrics in the room. The volcano view was stunning and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was good. We did have to wait a bit for our food and we did have to remind the waiter a couple times for certain things. We didn't have anyone check to see if we wanted a second beverage during our meals. The typical breakfast and French toast were our favourites!
