There’s no tissue papers or any paper towels, also no water bottles and the microwave wasn’t in a working condition.
Although property is very clean gives you authentic and ancient feel in the suite.
There can be more plugging points as well nearby the bed.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at this property but I was pleasantly surprised. There was very little interaction with staff, but everything worked out well. The room was very charming and full of antique character. The location was excellent and within walking distance of historic downtown Charlottetown. Very quiet and clean.

The wntire building is so charming. I also love that the building has solar pannels. I do love eco friendly businesses. The owner is very nice and helpful. My room was nice and spacious. I love that there was a little kitchenette. A nice sink with dishes. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and even pots ans pans under the sink with a toaster oven ans a hot plate/portable electric stove top. That is very convienient if you want to bring some groceries and cook. Also the bathroom was nice and spacious. I love old arcituecture. Its very beautiful. And it has a very old feel to it with some modern touch ups whithout being to modern and taking away the charm of the building. The parking lot was pretty easy to get in. Also I do love that there is a laundry room located in the basement. I would definetly come back. And recomend to my friends. It was so charming and quaint.

Todd is great and easy to get a hold of. He communicated with me before and through the stay, easy self check in, hotel located downtown with great location, rooms are equipped with everything you need and has an old style feel that reminds you we are in Charlottetown. Back desk is beautiful, parking is perfect. There was a big storm and he couldn’t get to the hotel to plow us out so he called and offered a comp night. Got to us in the afternoon, which really was quicker than I thought. Exceptional service and very clean rooms. Will def be back. Thanks Todd 👏

The sheets perhaps could have been cleaner. We didn’t enjoy having to go through a cloud of second hand smoke caused by a couple of people smoking right outside the front door every time we went in or out.
The bed was comfortable enough though, although the wife did find a couple of hairs that did not belong to either of us.

I was excited to go to this hotel looked so cute on the pictures.
There wasn’t much parking for customers
When you first came in there was a strong odor.
Our bed was awful the mattress was basically lopsided and wasn’t appropriate for customers. There was a dirty knife in the sink. A nail coming out of the floor and the bathroom was disgusting. There were used a-tips and tiles looked like they were about to come off. The shower was disgusting and not useable.
The first night we were there the toilet was clogged, I asked fir a plunger and was told to
Move rooms for one night. The second room was much bigger but the same issues with the bathroom. There were old coffee stains and the floors were dusty (in both rooms). There were also dirty used hair elastics in both rooms.

Tours Day July 10th, We arrivés at the room and thé smell of cat urine was very intense and unbearable.
We were therefore unable to occupy Thais room as the situation.
We contacted thé owner, who came to the location and shock our hand, confirming that he would refund our money without any problem since we were not going to occupy it.
This man is very dishonest because even today,after twi months, he still won’t refund us.
We had to rent another room nearby. Nobody can sleep in such a noxious odor !

This is a boutique hotel meaning there is no staff on site (but Todd was very responsive to my questions) and the building is quite old. Parking is free but there are few spots which are very tricky to maneuver - you have to slot the vehicle into a tiny space under a pergola or line up along the building. The main hallway smelled strongly of wet soccer cleats but the unit itself smelled fine.

We stayed in Unit 3 on the main floor and I would not recommend it if you like a firm bed. The middle of the mattress was like a bowl and my husband and I kept rolling toward the centre. The door frame for the bathroom and deck were both quite warped and very difficult to open/close without putting your shoulder into it. The ceiling fan blades were in dire need of cleaning and were so dusty, there was no way I would turn it on! There is a kitchenette with a small fridge, toaster, coffee maker, dish ware, etc which was a nice bonus. The deck with seating area was nice.

The location of the hotel is great and within a short walking distance to the Confederation Centre for the Arts, waterfront, downtown shopping, restaurants, etc.

The entrance for starter was a maze no front desk the door bell was hard to locate.
The bed was a whole story on it own. Noisy, you can feel all the metal of the bed when you lie in it.

We choose the heritage boutique hotel but found the suite neglected and need of renovation. Bathroom had a dip soft spot on the floor, 3 holes on the wall, moldy caulking on the shower, door sticking. Kitchen had hot plate, plates and cutlery but no pots and frying pans to cook. Bed frame was broken and leaning towards headboard with terrible squeaking. Owner/manager repaired bed frame the next day but bed still had terrible squeak making it very difficult to sleep. The property common area and suite had a musty, old smell.

We were in Suite 2, which was very small but we expected that for the price.

Pros: Great location, shared 3-story patio out back, free parking. Fairly quiet. Cute and historic decor. Portable air conditioner worked well. Large closet. Dishware, mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and sink in room.

Cons: Cleanliness (there was hair and grime in the shower, hair all over the bedding, and the box spring of the bed wasn't enclosed—it just had a top sheet draped over it). No staff (we spoke to someone over the phone to get access instructions). Hallway smelled like cat pee. Bathroom isn't fully enclosed, there's a large gap between the top of the door and the ceiling. Trash and recycling cans out back were full so we couldn't empty our room waste.

Good location for walkability to Town. Lovely old building with character. However, needs TLC. Apt 10 - basement, has two dehumidifiers, one in the main living area the other in the bathroom and the noise is deafening. But needed as it has damp smell. Bed is comfy, with ok bedding, just the bed frame being metal, rattles considerably. Not just our bed, the one directly upstairs was also the same!
Limited parking (maybe 5 spaces) if all 10 apartments booked. Signage indicates OK to park in front of basement egress window! The entrance door to the apt had large gap all around, so you can see the lighting in the communal hallway leading to the washer/dryer machines. The vb behind the gyproc also showing, and gaps around the smoke detector so limited sealing on penetrations. I did find ‘the’ fire extinguisher, unfortunately out of date - last insp 2023. We met the owner a couple of days in, when he knocked to advise plumbing work was being carried out in the building, so he would need access to the apt - as they were coming in, we asked if he would mind installing the clothing rail that was sitting in the cupboard. We only had a couple of clothes hooks on a door, & this was done when we go back that evening.
The apt can take 4-persons, but that would be so tight - two beds, & one small patio table with 2 chairs. 6 desert bowls, 3 large plates, 2 odd wine glasses and a few other bits. It could be so good with just a little effort.

Suites of Euston is a beautiful European style accommodation. The location is walking distance to the water and many restaurants. The room we had was not large but had everything you need including a mini kitchen. I marked four stars on facilities only because the bathroom ceiling is a little low. My husband and I are above average height so anyone above six feet may be concerned. If you are a large person I would avoid this suite as there is not much room for the toilet between the wall & sink and it’s a tight shower. There are stairs only but if you’re okay with that then you’re going to love the multi tiered decks out back. Fully equipped with lighting, furniture and music. There’s even a barbecue and a few coffee spots (bistro tables/stools) set up. Overall, would definitely return.

The entry way had a terrible odour of cat urine. The room we had was number 7. They must keep this unit for booking on discount sites because the bathroom shower was full of black mold and around the sink was missing drywall and in need of repair. A towel bath mat was on the floor and under it was an extreme soft spot in the floor, it felt like we were going to fall through.

Worst property I’ve ever stayed at. As soon as you walk in it smells of mold. In the room, the wooden floorboards are really badly put together and have bigspaces between them. In the bathroom, the wooden floor is rotten and bends as you walk over it. It is covered by vinyl but every step make you feel like you will pass through the floor. The cupboard was broken. The microwave/stove was all rusted and disgusting. On our last night there, my wife was in the shower and the neighbour from under came banging on our door to say that the ceiling had broken and that the shower water was leaking on his bed. For the inconvenience of it all, you would think that we would have gotten an upgraded room as well as the poor guy that his room was flooded. We were given a room that was in worst condition than our previous room. The owner asked us to change to an other room that was smaller, had a worst bathroom floor than the last and a really uncomfortable bed with a bed frame that would squeak just from breathing. He kept trying to put the blame on us for “possibly” leaving the curtain fall over the shower edge and let the water leak on the floor. From the way that the floor is so soft and mouldy under the vinyl, I would think this is an ongoing problem and nothing to do with us. Especially that we were being so careful not to let any water fall over because the floor was already in such a bad condition. I would not recommend this place for a wild animal to spend the night.

Due to a booking error on our part at our choice B & B we were forced to take this as a second space for my mother at the last minute as there was few options remaining in the area. There is no one on site to assist which wasnt the end of the world. The entry door handle is literally missing, the place had a horrible old and musty smell. The room is designed to be antique feeling but it went so far as to just let the place get run down. The flooring is likely original with sections missing, a string pull light over head that she could not reach without climbing on the bed and a bathroom with absolutely no where to put your toiletries. The bed was unstable and rickety and banged against the wall...good thing she is single!
She was so scared of the creepy noises, irrtitated by the barking dog next door amd the overall creepiness of this place that I literally cried dropping her off at this run down shanty.
Considering it cost $200 a night is appalling for the absolute lack of amenities and run down conditions.

The first night's accommodation was quite unsatisfactory, up two flights of stairs, one without a handrail, an unsightly shower stall and three (live) wasps sharing the space. The owner accommodatingly changed our room for the second night...and it made a world of difference. No stairs, elegantly appointed quarters, mildew - and wasp - free.

Bonus: there’s a rooftop terrace with a BBQ.
Only small negative point: the suite is a half basement unit with exposed bricks. They’re beautiful but it’s a bit humid. You just need to run the dehumidifier which is in the room

Heat was by window air conditioner, so hot you couldn't breathe, foundation is shifting, wall is crooked going up the stairs, pictures are deceiving to conditions at the hotel.
We booked for three people and they can only accommodate 2 per room. The owner blamed expedia for booking it, he said it was set, i had to forward him my booking, refused to refund even though we could not stay.

A unique heritage suite! If you don’t like character, this is not for you! We loved the outdoor common deck - perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We were in the John A. McDonald suite, and loved it. Just a note - it IS up a steep staircase, so mobility challenged folk may have trouble getting luggage up there. We would be very happy to stay there again.

House was filled with mold smell. Huge cracks in wooden floor. Boutique hotel does not mean so old doors do not shut securely, bed mattress worn out and so uncomfortable. Never saw any property person. Only good thing was location to old Charlottetown. Could hear everyone else in hotel including barking dogs.
