It certainly was not a $350 a night hotel, the rooms were dated, fan didnt work in bathroom, wasnt overly clean. Entire hotel looked like it needed a cleaning. Pool area was ok, but the maintenance guy was doing his \"cleanup\" testing of water etc an hour before the pool closed. Nothing like a relaxing stint in the hottub with the mechanical room open and someone working in there. Rails going into the pool and the hot tub were loose. Hotel in general is in need of a major reno. Looks like a cheap hotel, certainly not one worth the money they charge, especially during the \"off\" season and mid-week. Parking underground was very sketchy, and extra cost even though there was no other parking available.. $25 was way too much.

The staff was very courteous and accommodated us nicely. However, even though this listing said there was a hot tub available for use (which is why we booked this hotel versus other options), it was closed for renovations. We were disappointed. But the room was fine and we had a nice stay.

Ther only problem I had with the stay was there was some mold around the sprinkler head in the bathroom. I do find the wood millwork in the common areas is a little dated, but it would be a major undertaking to change it, so they have done a nice job to update the look of the space as much as possible. Still looks high end. The beds were great, the room was modern and decorated nicely, perfect location, terrific view and the pool area is as nice as any. I really have a soft spot for this place and throughly enjoyed my stay.

Overall this is a decent hotel. Where it falls apart is the price for a night. At over $600.00 with tax, this property has no redeeming qualities that separate it from any other standard two queen bed hotel room in the $200 or so range.
The details that I notice that lower my appreciation in the room are, a low end tub and faucet. The main door leaking light as it doesn't close tight and therefore allows sound to enter. Only two creamers for the coffee. Paper coffee cups that don't fit the machine very well. Our coffee machine didn't work properly. No bar fridge. No Delta bathroom toiletries for us just bottles on the wall, no slippers or robes etc etc. For $600 plus dollars...
Breakfast was not included and we didn't know that. Cost $25.00 each for a mid level breakfast. Decent but again for $600.00 plus per night should have been included and much nicer.
So overall, nice place, good staff but way overpriced.

I loved staying at this hotel in Charlottetown. It was near the water where there was COWS icecream and little shops. The parking was convenient as well and the staff were so friendly.

I had one unfortunate thing happen where my room wasn’t cleaned by 4pm. I could tell a staff visited because the $10 tip I left behind was gone. My family and I couldn’t rest after a long day. Luckily, the front desk took care of it right away. This is the first time this happened to me and I’ve stayed at Marriott chain my whole life (over 25 years).

For $700 a night, to say “disappointed” is an understatement. First we tried to book TWO rooms, both said they were available, once we put the credit card info in only 1 of the rooms were actually available and my group were split up. Then one of the receptionists were horribly rude. They gave us a key to SOMEONE elses room!! We walked in on a couple and when we went downstairs the staff said they “didnt know” how that happened. once we finally got into our appropriate room their was a message in the fridge with a bottle of champagne for a different guest. Overall I’m disgusted with this hotel. From the outdated rooms, to rude staff, to overall experience. Do yourself the favour and never stay here!!!

We enjoyed a lovely two nights stay at this hotel. It was so close to the waterfront and all the great attractions and shops. We also used it as a base to drive one day to Cavendish Beach and had a green Gables. The breakfast was great, and staff were super friendly and attentive to our needs.

The team at the Delta in Charlottetown is incredibly friendly. They were able to help my family with a few minor concerns we had with ease. The location of the hotel makes everything we needed a short walk away. The workout and pool areas were very nice and well maintained. We've stayed there a few times and plan on going back!

Not worth the price tag.

Hotel is in dire need of an upgrade and a good scrub. The lobby and hallways felt like I walked back into 1992. The room was ok other than the carpets and walls were dirty. I had to put towels down in front of the door to block the 1” gap that was letting in light and noise from the hallway. The pillows were super lumpy. Not worth the price. I’ve stayed at way nicer hotels for a lot cheaper. The only thing going for the hotel is the prime location.

As explained by other reviewers this place is old and outdated. The ambiance in the lobby is more damp and dark which is opposed to the lighting in the picture. Some room ceilings have openings and overall the carpet in the whole hotel is stained and smells.

First of all, the check in is at 4 pm. We arrived a bit early, they could have accommodated us because they were checking if we were a member. Also they told they would call us if was available. Till 6 pm, no one bothered to call us.

Check in was 5 star. Special mention re Angie. She was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Disappointing, as we stayed in this Delta Marriott Prince Edward hotel a few years ago and it was lovely back then. So we felt safe to book it again. However, now the rooms are run down and shabby, e.g., the upholstery on the window seat was extremely stained and dirty in general. We used towels to sit on it. There was one end table in the middle of 2 queen beds, so no other table in the room for drinks. One office chair so no other seating option. For the most part the housekeeping was good but inconsistent, e.g., forgetting to replace dirty glasses, towels, toilet rolls, complimentary water, plastic liners for ice bucket. Frustrating to have to make repeat requests. The tub was difficult to enter and exit as there was no grab bar, very scary. In general the hotel is very run down. Efforts to improve it have been commenced as they have renovated the bar and dining areas. The bar is lovely and the bartenders (Nadia, Brandon and Tyler) made our stay brighter. Our dining experience was not great as breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive. Considering the present condition of the rooms, the price was high. We feel the cost should be lowered while under renovations. On the positive side, we were granted and early check in and a late check out. Bonus!

A very nice hotel in beautiful Charlottetown. The wind was so wicked we could not walk downtown or to dinner, had to drive, so we did not get to enjoy the town as much as we expected, which is regrettable. The parking garage is tight. Neither of us found the bed particularly comfy, but the room was a nice size.

It would have been nice to know that there were renovations going on, and maybe that should’ve been reflected in the room rate. Also, the floor in the men’s change room at the pool is absolutely filthy, according to the bottom of my feet. Wear flip-flops or something. Other than that, the property is excellent. Great bed, great room, great breakfast, excellent sleep, not dry and good temperature.

I walked in. They told me the room was clean, but it needed to be inspected. I waited 20 minutes then when I got to the room, it was the wrong room queen size bed not a king size bed what I paid for small then started watching TV and realized it was adjoining room And she told us to turn the TV down so I left at 1 o’clock in the morning with no refund

The Delta has always been one of my favourite hotels in Charlottetown. It always smells nice. Staff are so friendly. I love the parking option especially in winter since it’s indoor. Three elevators so they are quick. Rooms are a good size. Beds are comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and harbour view from room was nice. This said, the first room we were given had construction materials and tools in the washroom and drywall dust over everything. Moved immediately to a room with harbour view.

The second room had a nice view, but several inconvenices made for less than an ideal stay. The heat fan was so loud that it woke me up everytime it came on and it was too cold to turn off. The room was located directly across from the elevator and conversations could be heard clearly as guests waited. Little inconveniences like the toilet paper handle was broken and hair in the shower.

Location was convenient as the event we attended was in the same hotel. In hindsight, I would have booked with a different hotel in the area, offering significantly better prices and probably would have provided a better overall experience

It is in a great spot, on the harbour, walking distance for even older persons, like myself to restaurants & cafes , pubs etc. Furniture is well used, our traveling companions had a bed that had dirty/bloody stained sheets. Staff immediately put them in another room, where they would have bee fine with just remaking the bed. All staff we had contact with were, very friendly & helpful.
