The front desk man was super nice when we checked in.
Only reason I’m giving a 1 is our room STUNK! It smelt like pee. It was something in the bathroom. The smell got worse once we took a shower. I had surgery the next morning so we had to get up at 5 to leave so we needed to just go to sleep or else we would’ve asked to change rooms.

Our room wasn’t cleaned until the last day we were there and only because I complained. Also even after they “cleaned” it , they didn’t leave towels and I had to call for some.

The front desk staff was very nice but we were not happy with housekeeping.

Was told by host 1 hour before check in, no rooms were available, without looking, asked host if I can be notified if room becomes available before hour, she answered no and began discussion shouldn’t expect available until 3pm at 2pm. While waiting in car saw two couples go in and returned to car and picked up bags go back in, the couples were White, I asked one if they were able to check in, they said yes, this was 5 - 6 minutes after I left the same host. So as the shift changed for host, I brought to attention, 2 White couples were able to check in before 3pm, but I being Black wasn’t able to check in and couldn’t be contacted like serval other hotels have done during my travels, at least make an effort to look if a room was available. I expressed the execution and behavior was rude and discriminatory. Then assigned a room under construction. Would not recommend this hotel, especially poorly treated and assigned room under construction, of course the room was paid in full, no refund. Don’t recommend.

Completely Unprofessional Manager - No Options

Worst check-in experience ever. Arrived at 6pm. Went into room and it only had a very thin see-through shade covering the entire window, no curtains or privacy shade. We called front desk and asked to change rooms as we needed something more than a see-through window shade. We were told they were fully booked and no other rooms were available. I asked if a privacy shade could be added. I was told they could put in a work-order but it would not be fixed today, and we were only staying for one night. I understood they were fully booked but since it was only 6pm had every room been checked into already since this room did not have what was advertised and needed? We were told since we had already gone into the room it was contaminated and we could not change rooms since they could not give that room to anyone else now. I'm not sure how you can see what's wrong with a room without going in? We were told the only other option was to not stay there and request a refund. Then try to find a room on a Saturday night at another hotel with no notice, and during a busy holiday weekend.

While discussing my frustration with the manager he was rude and offered no help. He accused me of calling him a name in front of the front desk lady. Which the front desk lady had to tell him I never did. Then he tried to apologize for falsely accusing me of it. All of this at the front desk check-in area. Completely unprofessional. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. DO NO RECOMMEND.

Room service needs to be tentative to running out soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. Also, there were no hand soaps to wash hands, if needed. Facility needs to be prepared for fully booked reservation to be able to provide towels and other amenities.

Nice sized room and amenities ..We were disappointed with the fact that due to the cleaning schedule (every other day and not on Sundays)...our room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay. We arrived on Friday to a clean space but it was not cleaned during our stay at all & the towels were not replaced until Sunday. We asked about the desk associate during breakfast about fresh towels and though she said she would have them replaced, we had to go back down to request them from management when we returned late that night to dirty towels and no replacements. Breakfast options were just ok. Refrigerator did not stay cool.

Room was clean, common areas clean. My only complaint is the ac shuts off while you’re gone or asleep. It’s really annoying having to walk around to keep the ac from shutting off. Saves the company money but punishes the consumer in the process. Will not ever stay here again due to the inconvenience as a guest. They care more about their money than they do the comfort of their guests. I hope they shut off their ac while they are gone or asleep since they do that to their guests. But I guarantee you they have all their amenities on, even at homes they aren’t staying in at the moment. Greed at its finest.

Overall, a nice facility. The front desk staff were very accommodating, as we had a family emergency that did not allow one of us to stay in the room. They allowed me to take a to-go breakfast each morning for them...until the dining room staff intervened after being RUDE and not understanding of the situation. The last day, the dining room magically 'ran out' of to-go containers when the front desk went to get one for me. Needless to say, I found a way to take food with me that morning. As stated, the front desk staff were very nice and understanding...the dining room staff needs some compassion education as pertaining to the customer service delivery expected of a hotel/motel establishment

the place was spotless, the staff were sweet and helpful, but there werent enough of them. Seems to me for a hotel of this size there should be two people at the desk So if one of them has to help with an emergency, the desk is not empty for long with a note
As soon as I checked in I was informed the card reader was not working. I asked what about cash but was told since the register isnt working, No.
So no snacks, not even water.I was told there is no restaurant due to this. It was never open excpet for the breakfast.
then I was told there were two restaurants walking distance , yes but they were up a steep hill lol

I was very disappointed to find out the AC in your room only comes on when you are in it and \"moving\" around. everyday we came back into the room it was off and hot then would come in with us in the room. When we were sleeping it got hot, I guess because we were not moving around. the hallways and elevators were very hot. I understand it's the heat of the summer, but when you have the AC set at a certain temp in your room, it should stay cool for when you get back and certainly while sleeping.

I find soap piece smashed in the tub. Is a double bed and sofa bed. Meaning at lease 6 people will be there. We were 4 and only 3 wash cloths, hair in the tub and floors. And in a 4th of July weekend I needed a getaway I liked the pool here in the pictures because I had booked at the Hilton across the street but wanted quiet location so because pool I choose this hotel but it was out of service no notice until I got to the hotel after driving two hours on 4th of July I didn’t expect that. Kids disappointed, had to drive to a water park. So nope I didn’t had a good experience

This Hyatt Place is in a great location. Loads of dining options, shopping options,and easy access. They serve a good breakfast with a lot of food options. But most importantly, the entire staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The front desk staff was always welcoming and helpful. I give them 10 stars!

I have stayed at many Hyatts and this one was the worst. When we first got to our room, the room was hot. It wasn’t cool down until the next day, but it did get hot again in the room. The whole hotel was hot. We left our room Saturday morning around 10 o’clock and when we walked out, we saw the housekeeping ladies. When we returned at 3:00 PM, our room hadn’t been cleaned. I called front desk and they said it was because they were only two cleaning people and that they were gone for the day. We didn’t have towels in our room was dirty. We didn’t get towels until that night. That was very inconvenient, especially since I was traveling with three young kids. When I talked to the front desk person Sunday morning at checkout about my concerns, they gave me the number to the general manager. They also said they didn’t know why the other people told me they were only two cleaning people. He told me that they clean the rooms every other day. This was not told to me when I checked in. I would have booked something else. Also, we couldn’t use the pool because it was closed.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean. However the AC in the Hotel was way too hot in the hallways, the gym and the room. It took a lot of work to get the AC to an acceptable standard in the room. Also the bed was not very comfortable. It did not meet the standard I'm normally used to at a Hyatt Place. Next time I'm going to choose a different hotel.

Staff was friendly, professional. Only thing seems like night crew need more help had to stand and wait for someone to come to counter to check us in. U seats d they were checking floors and making sure accommodations were met for others.
