i booked a king sized suite. they gave me two doubles. went back to show them my booking information and said it was booked wrong but they wouldn't charge me extra for the hotel. whatever fine. go back and fine out my ac is broken. also the \"breakfast\" was fruit loops and frosted flakes. thats it.

Door could be opened even when locked. Wouldn’t give us a new room. Said the door shrinks due to cold temperatures. Nice try I said, I’m from Minnesota. Didn’t care about our safety or security.

I ended up buying the suite with the jet tub. Nice sized room. Very clean. Very good lighting. This stay is alot better than many others. Dont expect a nice breakfast at the hotel but one of my favorite places which is the waffe house....is literally near the hotel. There are many nearby places for food as well. This place has very easy access to the highway which i like about it as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

We pulled into the hotel, and it was raining outside. I got a weird feeling when we pulled up to our room, but said nothing . The place was spotless and incredibly nice. I had to sage our room because my kid was freaked out and wouldn't go in the bathroom. I rarely use it, but pulled up my ghost hunter app out of curiosity. I said \"if anyone is here, who are you? \"Colton\", \"numbers\" and \"Technician\" read on the screen. We had a small conversation and I thanked him.
Awhile later, I went out to the car, and heard a child's footsteps running towards me. Thinking it was my child, I stuck my head up out of the car and there was no one in sight. Anywhere..
My kid went out to the car, and thought she saw a plague doctor or something.
I was far too tired to worry about a ghosty or two.
I heard some weird stuff last night and a gust of wind blew the bathroom door shut IN the room around 3am.
I looked it up and apparently Terrell is the most haunted downtown in Texas. Who knew? I don't think it's considered downtown but interesting, nonetheless. Creepy as heck though it was well lit.
If you're into paranormal stuff, you might want to check it out. If not, perhaps another hotel...
Also,.comfy beds and a really nice TV. .

The stay was fine. However the A/C sounded like an electric can opener everytime the compressor cycled on. The breakfast consisted of pastries and cereal no actual hot food such as eggs or sausage for waffles or pancakes.

I rented a room for Saturday and Sunday nights. I arrived about 3 am Sunday morning and was told I couldn’t check in until 3 pm despite the fact that I’d rented the room for Saturday night as well, and check in time would have been 3 pm that previous afternoon. The person at the front desk kept insisting she was “still on Friday night’s books”. I literally had to pull up the calendar on my phone and prove what day it was. There was no acknowledgement that she was wrong or apology, just a “give me your ID and credit card and I’ll see what I can do”. I finally did get checked in. Later that day the AC stopped working but I was close enough to checking out that I just dealt with it as it would have made no sense to get another room at that point.

Get what you paid for!

Hotel room was not cleaned. Cat food on the floor, toliet seat had dried urine!!!!! When I brought to front desk attention she complained about housekeeping as well! was offered to switch rooms the next day, I bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned by this time. I asked for a discount and was not offered as well. Stay next door at red roof!! Good thing about this hotel is there is a Starbucks and Waffle House walking distance!!!

First room, smelled moldy and smoky. Also, the fire alarm was chirping. The staff were kind enough to move us to a room on the lower level. When we walked in, it reeked of smoke. Both rooms claimed to be smoke free but both rooms had ash trays in them. We tried to suck it up and deal with it, but after we got back from the hotel from the wedding we attended around 11:00pm, we walked into the room and the smell was just unbearable. So we packed up and drove back home for 4 hours in the middle of the night because the smell was that bad. It made our eyes burn and sinuses rage. When we got home, ALL of our stuff that was in the hotel room REEKED of that smoky, moldy smell. It was awful. I washed our duffle bag and everything.

None of this would have bothered us EXCEPT that the room advertised and claimed to be “smoke free” even with the little smoke free symbol on the door. But it’s clearly not smoke free. There were even burn marks on the edge of the bathtub; like someone took a warm bath with their cigarette resting in the ashtray but it feel off onto the edge and left its mark.

The receptionist at the hotel was lovely. But the hotel was a gross disappointment.

Terrible. Had to go back to office to get keys that didn't work 3 times ac/heater didn't not work service counter worker was very irritated and accused us of putting the key next to our phone causing it to not work. TV had maybe 5 channels all digital. For the 80 bux I paid this room and hotel was junk. Will not be back

Hotel wasn’t very good. Room was dirty and the comforter didn’t appear to be very clean. Bathroom door didn’t close at all. You had to really lean into it to get it to close. My mom and my wife never could close it. Also got a phone call around 10 pm saying we need to pay for our dog. Apparently there is a $20 charge for pets even though it says pet friendly on the website and doesn’t mention any extra cost. They wouldn’t let us pay before we left or charge my card so I had to go pay right then and there. The man on the phone was pretty rude about it. He was nowhere to be seen when I went up front. Just his wife. Figures.

It was not good because Super 8 bought one of the worst hotels in town. If I had known that this location had my reservation, I would never have confirmed. I paid way too much, checked in, had no TV, and was not given a refund. So a 5 minute stay cost me $75 of my hard earned money.

I will not make this mistake again!

I didn't care for the smokey room but you get what you can when you book late for canton. I was fine with our stay until I realized I left my favorite pillow at the hotel. I called within an hour of checking out and was assured they would take care of it. When I came back through town that evening. The man at the desk said he didn't know anything about a pillow. I asked to speak to a manager and he tried to call some one. They didn't answer. He said he couldn't help me and didn't seem to care at all even though there wasn't a sole in the place. I explained that I had talked to a nice lady that morning who said she would take of it. He said she didn't leave a not and would t help with anything. I had to persuade him to look in the back for pillow. It took me 15 minutes to get get him to look for 20 seconds and find my pillow. I strongly feel like he wanted to keep it. It is a sleep number pillow I paid almost $200 for. The pillow was worth more than my stay. I will never stay at another days inn. They clearly don't value thier customers.

The hotel was disgusting and dirty. The carpet was absolutely filthy. The tub didn't drain from showers the night before. My daughter is undergoing chemo and I was truly worried about her health. We cancelled the 2nd night and stayed elsewhere. Would have done for both nights if there would have been availability anywhere!
The gentlemen at check-in couldn't have cared less. NEVER stay with a Days Inn chain again.

The room was non smoking, but it smelled like cigarette. Called front desk and clerk said it could be the other people in the other rooms. Okay, not good. Then breakfast seemed like left overs. I was ther soon after it opened and it was not filled fresh. Pancake was sour. Was batter old? Ice machine broken. Told the clerk and there was no care to fix it or offer me ice. Poor customer service. Bad quality. The sign could not be seen from the road. The location was difficult to navigate. It was an intersection accidents were bound to happen. Anyway, choosing a different hotel next time.

Just Awful!

My kids and I had driven in from El Paso and we were tired. This hotel was enough for us to rest up to continue our journey. The next morning we went into the lobby for breakfast. The milk was sour, the ceral was stale, the muffins and bread were stale as well. I know the hotel was cheap but to serve customers unedible food was appalling! I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else!

Upon arrival, the room appeared to be clean.
As we got ready for bed and turned back the covers, the sheet was COVERED in dark PUBlIC HAIRS.
Upon attempting to call the front office, the phones did not work.
I went to the office and woke the owner/manager up and told him of the condition of the bedding.
The owner brought a new set of sheets and left them for us to re-make the bed.
The lamps switches were inoperative, had to screw the bulb in.
All in all, a very poor stay.

Not what i asked for.

I signed up for a non-smoking room and when we got there they gave us a smoking room that stunk so bad you would almost pass out from the smell when you opened the door. Then desk person said only had one non-smoking room for one night only. Had to change to another hotel, and they still charged me for one night stay. They Days Inn at Terrell, Tx is a rip off.

Bed Bugs!!!

This hotel has bed bugs. We saw one crawling on the wall so we pulled the covers back and there they were. Disgusting!! The manager was quick to offer a refund which tells me they probably knew about the problem.
