Room was clean and comfortable, nice view of the sea. There was weird smells coming through the vent in our room at times which was unpleasant. I was ment to get 10% of my food bill but i didnt, also couldnt sit at the bar and have a drink after 11.30 had to sit in lobby.

Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. There is not much around the hotel, you need to drive or have a long walk to reach anywhere. The hotel was lovely, the staff excellent we’d stay again. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

Unable to sleep due to banging noise outside our window.
Really poor service at breakfast. One member of staff who was getting breakfast for room service ! I had to ask several times to have dishes replenished. Very few tables were cleared after use.
At 10am two further staff appeared !
I mentioned this to the receptionist all she said to me was - I’ll mention this to management.

Excellent location and beautiful inside with very friendly helpful staff. First class breakfast for just 10 euro if booked at reception. Plenty of secure parking.
Slight criticism regarding room being cold which we reported but wasn't fixed but manager was very apologetic next day. Olga on reception was SO helpful.

Great two night stay. Didn’t experience the restaurant but did have drinks in the bar both evenings. Service was a little slow but nothing out of the ordinary.

We enjoyed the property very much. Only negative is room was too hot. Airconnturned off suring the night and we were told this was to save the planet.. meantime my husband woke up seating and made for a uncomfortable sleep. This was also the case with my daughter who stayed in another room. Aircon needs to be available throughout the entire stay please in the rooms.

What a pleasant surprise we had staying here. A fabulous hotel with friendly staff. The lobby and breakfast room were spacious, bright and airy. Great selection for breakfast.
The room itself was excellent with a very comfy bed and large tv. The view of the beach was stunning and most unexpected .
This hotel is certainly a hidden gem we will stay at again

It was one of my most horrible hotel experience and travel all the time. Room dated, very bad smell on corridors, overall an old and dated feel. But the worst was the quality of the breakfast and here I mean that all items served were under my standard and I think much bellow 4 star. Not to talk about the staff: at 4 star smile and kindness is not just a must but it is a demand in job description I think all over the world....

Hotel is extremely clean, with clear tidy open spaces and corridors. The rooms are very well kept and you can request to have your room serviced as required.
Beds are very comfortable, lovely pillows and duvets. Bathroom has shower and bathtub. The shower is simply amazing, wanted to take it home with us.
We ate in the restaurant on one evening. The food was tasty but the menu options were a little limited. Service was very friendly.
Breakfast was very nice and a lovely view from the top floor. The setup was very COVID friendly. Food was tasty and enjoyable.
Few negative:
-There was a very bad smell on our floor (8) and the room also had this smell when we arrived. We adjusted but each time we returned it was very obvious again.
There was a mini fridge in our room so we bought a small milk for tea to put into it. The fridge did not work, the milk was warm within an hour.
Although happy with breakfast- it wasn’t very child friendly. We have two young boys and there were no bread rolls, no white toast, the pancakes only came with maple syrup (which is not great for children).

Check in was quick and very welcoming. Annoying thing was the key cards for the doors needed to be used in the lifts and sometimes they didn't work so we could be stuck there for about 7-10 minutes using 3 different cards. Room was lovely, beds very comfortable. Tv very outdated and slow, most channels didn't work or wasn't tuned in properly. We had 3 guests in our room and it only had 2 tea/coffee cups but we got a disposable one from the bar down stairs which we also had lunch there and it was amazing, great service.Shower and bath facilities were great too. Fan/airconditiong very hard to manouever but we just left it off then. Another bad thing is theres no vent in the bathroom to get clean air or air it out after any use of the facilities etc. No plugs at bedside either which is annoying. Comes with hairdryer in drawer and iron, free safe which I thought was great for a stunning hotel. Overall a great 1 night stay. Thank you

Great weekend!

Lovely weekend with family - kids 8 and 7yrs. We had a family room and only thing I would suggest to improve would be king size beds instead of 2 doubles in the family room, just to give more sleeping space.

The rooftop restaurant was fantastic for breakfast and the Italian chef couldn't do enough for us and the kids - made them crepes specially and food was gorgeous. Really set us up for the day. Views amazing from the restaurant.

I arrived incredibly late (early hours of the morning), staff were accommodating, polite and as I kept them informed of my travel issues, they checked me in before I arrived, so that I didn’t lose the room. The staff at Crowne Plaza are fantastic and despite the fact that they were busy with Christmas parties and lots of high-spirited revellers, not once did I encounter any member of staff without a smile on their faces. IHG should be very proud of its Crown Plaza Dundalk staff. My room was beautiful, spacious, clean and the bed was difficult to get out of, it was so comfortable.
