We were delighted to get an upgrade to a room with a balcony which was lovely especially as the weather turned out beautiful. We ate in the hotel both nights, once in the restaurant and once in the bar the food was absolutely delicious on both occasions. Some parts of the hotel have got a wee bit tired looking ie bathroom door was all scuffed and marked.

The grounds and old building at the rear were beautiful and the trail to the Proleek Dolmen was beautiful to walk and experience.

As ever Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort was excellent with the highest standard of food and accommodation and a welcome and attention to detail from a highly professional but very friendly staff. My wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. We visited the health suite and gym a couple of times and all was great. Room was spacious and warm. Could do with bar entertainment in the evening. We ended up going to a local bar for that.

I cannot compliment this hotel enough!! I did not want to leave!! The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazing. There was a 5000 year old stone tomb on the property down a path. Great breakfast. Everything you need on site and gorgeous!!
