A fabulous stop on the Camino for our family. Made use of the swimming pool (but remember to bring swim caps as they are 5 euros to purchase on site). Spacious rooms. Incredibly comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfast buffet.

I had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff I’ve encountered was always pleasant. The young lady that checked me in was very professional and extremely sweet, and she’s a great ambassador of yours. The food at the restaurant was delicious too, and the Spa circuit was nice. Viana is such a beautiful place. I loved going to the Monte of St. Luzia, which has breathtaking views of the river and the ocean; it’s fantastic! The only thing that needs attention is the carpets which are not bad by any means, but the normal wear and tear is noticeable. I want to come back to this property. My experience was fantastic! Thank you!

Everything was perfect and 4 Stars except one thing. I should not have to get up from the pool or outdoor patio to find a cocktail or snack. A server should be visible and available every 10/15 minutes. I am on business or vacation and should not have to work to spend money.

You must book this place for so many reasons...

All about this hotel is awesome! Spacious, modern and clean room and bathroom! All rooms have a wide wall-to-wall view either to the street or pool side. Internet works perfectly everywhere you use it around the hotel. They have a tasty and wide buffet at a very affordable price for breakfast, lunch and dinner with wine included. Bar are is also very nice to have a drink while watching a soccer game, tennis match or whatever you feel like to. People are extremely helpful and nice as well. The only thing I may mention to Manager would be pool's temperature, which was cold even when weather was around 33C. Also, it's very easy to get there from the train station, 28 minute walk! It was a great surprise finding this hotel at this Portugal's city! Ahhhhhh, and do I forget to mention their in-site SPA?

Nice hotel but a few niggles. Beds are REALLY hard. I had to double up the duvet and lie on it to soft it s little bit. Asked for an iron and board but was only able to have an iron and was told to iron on the floor.
No room service menu left in room, no channel list plus there never seemed to be anyone manning the bar in reception so it was difficult to get a water or a coffee. I'm sure they were losing out on a bit of money here.

The hotel was pretty quiet when I stayed. The internet wasn't working for the night I was there and only became available around 9:30 the following day. This is a big problem for a business hotel. It's about 1km from the centre of town, so quite a walk if you want to

There was only a buffet dinner available at the hotel (no a la carte), with only 2 main courses to choose from, which was a bit limiting. Reasonable choice of starters and desserts, plus a soup It was, however, quite good value, as it included wine (refilled when required).

Overall, the hotel was fine for my purposes, although the lack of internet for the evening was a bit of an issue.

Decor is very minimalist. Lighting in the rooms was too dark. An option of brighter lighting in the bedroom would be good. Limited tv channels. Room was comfortable and bathroom spacious. More suited to business than holiday. Didn't use the bar, as we never saw anyone there. Plenty of space around a good outdoor pool. Spa was good but take a swimming hat. Didn't use the gym but this had plenty of equipment and was well staffed. Hotel was just about walking distance to the centre and restaurants but a taxi is better. Breakfast good although same every day. No choices which you would expect at the price. Would probably stay nearer the centre next time.

Für mich meine erste Wahl in Portugal. In Viana ist auch immer was los.
Das Axis Viana Personal ist höflich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch.
Fußläufig ist alles in Viana zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man auch innerhalb einer halben Stunde bei einem Wasserfall. Vigo Spanien ist in einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Atendimento em tudo precisa melhorar em tudo. A primeira palavra é sempre “não”. Quando um hotel não entende que uma pessoa sai da casa dela, e elege esse lugar para ser um lar temporário, o mínimo que necessita é ser acolhido. Infelizmente não ocorre nesse hotel. Atendimento péssimo em tudo, da recepção, restaurante, camareira… enfim… precisam de um bom treinamento para saber tratar um cliente. Um exemplo foi deixar as toalhas molhadas penduradas… ver que estavam sujas e ignorar.

El hotel tiene zonas de aparcamiento cercanas. Bien ubicado, atención exquisita por parte de todo el personal. El colchón y las almohadas son muy mejorables, hemos descansado bastante mal en general. La mampara de la bañera no evita que se moje casi todo a poco que le abras al grifo de la ducha. Una cortina hubiera sido ideal, así de simple. El lavabo es muy estrecho, sin muebles, estantes y bastante sencillos los grifos. Es muy amplio y parece medio vacío. La habitación es doble pero solo tiene una mesilla con cajones, sin escritorio que, aunque fuese pequeño, resultaría útil.
El desayuno en cambio es espectacular, así como el servicio, la limpieza y el gimnasio. El spa sencillo pero correcto. A poco que mejoren pequeños aspectos, será un gran hotel.

As únicas coisas a apontar são apenas: a porta do quarto que estava perra e não fechava bem, era preciso fazer força para a fechar; e a outra coisa é a temperatura da água das piscinas interiores, tanto na piscina interior (para uso geral dos hóspedes), bem como na piscina do spa (que é pago), a água estava MUITO mais fria do que aquilo que se espera de uma piscina aquecida.

Quarto muito confortável, com várias amenidades e muito silencioso, apesar de o hotel ficar em uma rua muito movimentada. O quarto poderia ser melhor iluminado, mas reflete bem a decoração moderna que se vê atualmente. Café da manhã bem servido, com muitas opções. Funcionários atenciosos. Não utilizamos os serviços de spa nem de ginásio, portanto não podemos avaliar estes itens. Fica a uma distância de 20 minutos à pé do centro histórico de Viana do Castelo.

Achei um pouco longe do centro, pra ir a pé.
Com poucos funcionários no pequeno almoço (apenas 2), o serviço ficou lento. Em razão da pandemia, deixou de haver serviço de buffet e passou-se a servir os hóspedes. Tudo certo, só sugiro que haja mais pessoas para tanto, pois apenas dois para arrumar as mesas e entregar a comida, ficou pouco.

on a du oublier la notion de client ! tout est compliqué ! chambre bof pour un hôtel de cette classe ! et très bruyant, hôtel cerné par deux routes très passantes et mal isolé du bruit, traces sales sur les murs, sièges craquelés, livret d'accueil en chambre d'un état déplorable une honte! pour un 4 étoiles qui pour moi n'en est pas du tout un !
le spa et la piscine ouvert à la population et très compliqué aussi, n'oubliez pas de prendre (sinon vous êtes refoulé d'une manière expéditive) bonnet de bain + peignoir + sandales de bain. serviette de bain a quémander à l'accueil et à rendre aussi à l'accueil, les casiers pour mettre vos affaires à la piscine n'ont pas de clefs (prévoir un cadenas!) . Pour la chambre il n'y a rien ! même pas une boite de mouchoirs en salle de bain, produits douche fixé au mur ! peignoirs usés et de petite taille ! nous sommes resté deux jours, la chambre n' a pas été faite pour le deuxième jour et nous avons du réclamer. petit dej bien mais si vous voulez un café type expresso il faut le demander.Le parking payant 3.50euros et là aussi il faut rendre le ticket à l'accueil et on vous en donne un autre pour sortir ! bref c'est pas le luxe chez axis ! revoir le parcours client, et se remettre en question ! j'en suis désolé , axis devrait faire passer des clients mystères ! à disposition si vous voulez !!!!!!

Para um hotel de 4 estrelas, fica muito aquém. Passo a citar; 1- recepção muito fraca, não existe a simpatia que se deseja, parece que estão a fazer um favor, 2- limpeza, mediana muito aquém, restaurante, bar, funcionários que sobressaem, muito atenciosos, simpatia q.b., refeições com muito qualidade. Hotel que não prevelifia a família, pois estão servidos de uma boa piscina para adultos, no que diz respeito à crianças não tem rigorosamente nada, tornando-se aborrecidos para elas. Sugestão: piscina para crianças, melhor atendimento, mais rigor na limpeza e passará a ser um hotel merecedor de 4 estrelas.

Flotte SPA og treningsfasiliteter.

Siste natt virket ikke air condition på rommet, og det ble uutholdelig varmt. Måtte sove med døren åpen. Nattevakt var hyggelig og prøvde å ordne problem, men uten hell. Fikk ikke snakket med ansvarlig person (leder/manager) neste dag, de som var der ikke villig til å kompensere for ubehag.

lo único que no nos ha gustado ha sido la zona de spa ya que es pequeño para lo grande que es el hotel, y tiene un pequeño inconveniente, los pulsadores para activar los chorros de agua están muy alejados de los chorros y hay que casi salir medio cuerpo del agua.
También deja mucho que desear la iluminación de la habitación que parece que estamos en penumbra

O SPA tem limite de utilização de 1 hora, o que não faz qualquer sentido para um hotel que se auto intitula de SPA, tem inclusive um funcionário a indicar-nos que terminou o tempo!... Por isso se quiserem usufruir de SPA não escolham este hotel...
