It was my second time at RH Ifach and definitely will come back more. The rooms have been refurbished and were clean with huge comfortable king beds :) there is a big balcony. Easy parking just outside the hotel, 5 mnt walk from restaurants and Fossa beach. I had full boars and the food was delicious :)

The pools (indoor and outdoor) are great, and so is the buffet breakfast. Rooms are quite spacious, with large balcony and bathroom. Very close to the beach and the famous Ifach rock.

Calpe one of the popular travel destination for local people as well for expats. This hotel absolutely the best option to chose: located few meters away from the beach , promenade with the best dining in Calpe and what's probably even more unique that it's located on the right and the best side of IFach. Modern design with beautiful entry, terrace in each room, pools, GYM and spa, next to flamingo lake also.

The room was a little dated but none the worse. Clen and fresh linen and bathroom. Free underground parking a bonus.
Dinner, food was from a buffet and OK. Selection of mains a bit thin. but at 30 euros for two inc. wine I won't grumble too much.
Breakfast, again a buffet, bacon not to our taste but a fair English plus lots of cold stuff and fruit. All inc so no grumble.

We booked RH Ifach thinking it was a nice resort-like hotel. The room and hotel itself felt quite aged. The pool area was closed during our stay which was disappointing, and in general the atmosphere advertised was not there. Overall, staff, views from the room and hikes around the area were nice. FYI, we did stay at the hotel in off season (November), but the average age of our fellow residents was much higher than expected.

We stayed at the hotel to go to the Motogp in Valencia, the location was good for the race. The hotel is really nice, spotlessly clean, nice staff and the breakfast is lovely. Calpe is a nice, quiet resort with lots of nice restaurants.

The hotel was large and spacious, the staff were very helpful. Feedback for the bar would be better with warmer tones, very plastic and white. Also the air con in the room wasn’t very cold, woke up roasting in the morning after it on full all night.

The hotel had very good facilities for all ages and entertainment. Staff were very friendly and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. Close to three beaches, restaurants and the main area of town. My only issue was that they have no rooms with walk in showers, which is important for my husband who is unable to get in and out of a bath. It meant he kept having to use the showers in the gym which was really not convenient.

Family Holiday in Calpe

Just spent a week at the RH Ifach with kids and grand-kids.

Firstly we were very lucky with the weather - most days the sun shone so we could spend a fair amount on the beach with the family.

The Hotel was very good as it catered for most ages (although 30 minutes of kids disco only, over weekend could have been improved on).

The more senior adults who i would assume were with Sage Holidays - seemed to enjoy their music and dancing most nights although I am not sure if 'ballroom style dancing' and our grand kids doing the 'Floss' to the same songs quite worked lol!

Hotel was spotless - staff friendly, pool was lovely although a little cold but there was the option of the indoor pool - rooms comfortable and clean and wi fi good.
Food: There was a very good choice and as a help yourself service, if some things were not to your taste buds then you could always go back for something else.
There was a couple of evenings (We were half board x 14) where we felt food was a little bland but guess that sometimes happens when your catering for so many guests.

Overall the 14 of us aged 5 to 61 all had a really good family holiday at the RH Ifach and with its superb location would have no problem returning again in the future.

6 Days at the RH Ifach

To be fair, this is a 3.5 star not a 4 star hotel. We had issues where we could not use our room toilet for first 3 days. Several attempts were made to fix and we had to escalalate to senior managemenet. This was eventually addressed and a complimentary bottle of cava and fruit was sent to our room as an apology for the inconvenience.

BIG Issue with buffet. They DONT supply any drinks (including water) during luncg and dinner which forces customers to buy any fluids at inflated rates.Buffet itself I would rate as OK. Our advice, Don't go for the buffet if you plan to stay more than 3> days. YOU will tire of it and its medecrocity.

Calpe is a great place to visit and stay, it has fabulous clean beaches and great restaurants and bars. We found the hotel ideally located, with a 5 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants, easy access to the port where you can catch the tourist train or boat trip. Although it’s not in the main shopping district there are still lots to do, including fairs for the kids and some great restaurants in the port. The main town is only a short 10 minute taxi, or bus trip away which provided all our shopping needs.

The staff at the hotel where very friendly and happy to oblige and the kids club and mini disco entertainment was great, our five year old loved it.

We had a great time and would definitely have no problem staying at this hotel again.

Lovely weekend trip

The location was lovely and staying on the 11th floor we got a wonderful view of the rock. We only stayed one night but i was very happy with my time spent.
Staff were smiley and attentive, my wife is pregnant and wanted more pillows in the middle of the night and they brought them immediately.
Room was big, nice balcony, comfy beds, not many English channels but we didn't really come no holiday to watch English TV, plus we are in Spain! Really spacious bathroom too.
Breakfast was average, not a lot of choice but it was alright. We didn't opt for dinner as there are many wonderful restaurants in Calpe (i recommend La Vina de Calpe)
Excellent gym and indoor pool at no extra cost (i saw on a review someone said you have to pay but you don't, you only pay for extras like spa treatments etc etc, be aware you need a swimming cap to use in the indoor pool)
Good strong WIFI.
Parking is 11 euros but there was plenty of (free) street parking in the area so that was great for us.
Outdoor pool was clean and plenty of sun beds (we went in May so not high season). Reasonably priced drinks, overall a great little weekend and I would stay again.

Reception and restaurant staff were cheerful and very helpful. The bedroom was very large and clean as was the bathroom. The fridge was extremely useful. Having read previous reviews I took my own kettle and coffee. Breakfast was varied and tasty. All in all a very pleasant visit and stay. Previous reviews also mentioned the hard beds. They were but the cotton sheets were very soft!!! The only slight negative was the lack of onsite parking. We parked in a makeshift car park at the back of the hotel (for free)

We had a 1 night stay here just to see what it was like before moving on to the apt we had booked.

The hotel is well kept with nice pool area.

Friendly staff

I asked for an iron and ironing board which was brought up within minutes and the ladynamic even set it all up for me ready to use.

The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Breakfast: lots of choice and even bottles of champagne ready and waiting to be drank. You certainly won't go hungry.

Wish we had booked more than one night.

Nice Hotel with good facilities. The Hotel has a lovely outdoor pool although it was just a bit too cold to brave when we were there. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi were lovely. Drinks are reasonably priced at the bar. We were half board, Breakfast was great plenty of choice and drinks were included. Evening time the drinks had to be paid for and the food was nicely presented, I'm not an adventurous eater so I tended to stick to the basic food which was pretty good. I would say there was a decent choice and something for everyone.

The stay was ok big if a hotel is having UK tv make sure it work or don't bother and as stated in hotel website Mini bar not just an empty fridge also states toiletries when it was only shampoo in the shower, no hand soap apart from that nice hotel or and if you drive ìts 12 euros a day parking

I was in Calpe for business in January and stayed one week at the SH Ifach with a great deal that included breakfast and dinner. The price/quality ratio couldn't be better since it was low season. The rooms are large with a big bathroom and terrace. The breakfast buffet was good and I was happy to find gluten free bread and rolls. The dinner buffet quality was so so to my taste. In the winter the hotel caters a lot to the elderly crowd and the guests were predominantly British. Overall the hotel lives up to its 4 star status. There is an indoor pool and a nice gym. Calpe in the winter is relatively deserted so it's great to take a package that includes dinner (although it's a buffet). Otherwise you'll be walking or driving a long way to find restaurants. I'm sure the hotel is totally different in the summer when the outdoor areas are open and the crowd is younger. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely return if I were to go back in the winter.

This was a quiet hotel great for families even though out of season. The indoor swimming pool was very welcoming given the temperature of the outdoor pool at this time of year.
Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and of a high standard. We requested a view of the pool and got this. The view from the tenth floor was good.
The breakfast included in our package was of excellent quality.

A truly excellent hotel friendly staff. Plenty of sunbeds.breakfasts were good loads of choice. We were only on bed and breakfast so cannot comment on other meals. The entertainment was superb. The only small gripe I would have is that the coffee was never hot enough from the ground floor bar.The bedrooms were quite large and they were kept really clean beds were changed almost every two days. Would definitely go back and recommend to all.

Overall a great place to stay, just couple of critiscms - the hotel lobby bar closed at 5pm and you had to go down to the pool bar if you wanted pre dinner drinks (you don't always want to sit in chairs that people have been in all day with suntan lotion on when you are dressed for dinner). The same at night coming in for a night cap.
Very slow lifts especially in the morning around breakfast time.

A nice enough hotel, but expensive if you are not on an all inclusive deal. It seemed better suited to an older clientele than a family. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and there are additional charges for the indoor pool, sauna, etc., so not all that relaxing, but it is clean and pleasant.

Room was clean and abundance of toiletries and essentials, good large towels.
Twin Beds quite large but very firm. Pillows comfortable.
Fridge in the room, free room safe, English channels on room TV.
Shower pretty poor and bath needs updated but very clean.
Evening Meal variety of hot and cold foods, soup, fruit, desserts.
Entertainment was excellent in fact first class.
Breakfast cooked or Continental with different fruit and also Cava, very nice.
Used the under hotel garage facilities.
Checkout good 1200 noon and allowed to leave car parked until 6.00pm with no extra charge.
All in really enjoyed.

Very nice hotel with great rooms and nice spacious balconies. The food was excellent and the bar prices extremely reasonable for a hotel of the calibre. The only negatives I found was that the hotel offers wi-fi but it is very hit and miss and not very reliable at all. I would stay here again though as it is in a great location and very clean and comfortable. Definitely need to sort out internet connection though.

We have stayed here a couple of times and probably will look for an alternative next time. Breakfast not as good as it used to be. Made the mistake of paying €17 per head for dinner and it was Horrid fried bland awful food. Worst meal we have ever had in Calpe. Rooms are nice and the hotel is very clean.

Speak No English or even try !

A nice hotel in a good location in Calpe. Now for the bad - breakfast, chaos, Spanish rude with no manners yet get them in the overcrowded lifts they will speak ! We had 5 children with us who love childrens clubs, no such look here as it is only Spanish. THis is a requirement when advertising by anyone. Booking with Hotels.com did not show this and to be fair has made me very cautious about using them again as this is a must for family holidays. Children were ignored most of the time when they go to the bar for ice creams or drinks, oh and somehow the waitress on one occasion did not know the change from 5 euros for a single ice lolly and sent my daughter back with nothing, suprise suprise when I confronted her she supplied the change - I smell a rat. - A very expensive break with hugely disappointing experiences.

Okay hotel near the beach.

check in was okay and reasonably fast. the room was a bit of a disappointment. right next to elevators and internet connection spotty inside the room, actually had to leave the room before the Ipad caught the signal, and then be in certain places inside the room or the connection was not there. maybe the elevators played into that. beds were very hard, tv programmes not impressive either. we got the view of other buildings and in the shadow so there was not much using the balcony for anything. the elevators are a disaster, 4 of them and very small which means a huge traffic jam around breakfast time. i had to walk down from 6th floor with the family both days because we got tired of waiting for an elevator to come. breakfast okay but nothing special. staff there were nice. my car was parked at public parking right outside the hotel, and during the night both sideview mirrors were robbed from it, so watch out for thieves. contrary to last year we visited calpe, then this year the boardwalk was full of Street vendors, which is probably who also robbed the car. incredible nothing is done to make them leave, but we saw no pólice at all.

Rubbish!

No tea/coffee facilities in the room, the toiletries were not replaced throughout my stay, food was mediocre, everything was \"extra charge\" even though we had booked all inclusive, the reception staff just said \"no\" to everything and this wasn't due to a language barrier as I speak and understand Spanish! There was nothing to keep the children occupied unless we wanted to use the indoor pool all day everyday at €5 per person per use of the pool. The snacks were non existent, overall I would not recommend this hotel mainly due to the lack of accommodating service as we were not made to feel welcome at all. Luckily I have family in Spain so I checked out three days early!

Nice hotel, , easy to find, great location, only problem we had was the cooked breakfast it was buffet type and was cold if i stayed again would eat the omelette which was cooked fresh for you but would still recommend

Nice Hotel

Just stayed the 1 night at the end of our 17 day tour around Spain. Like the location, balcony and free parking. Did not like the 50 Euro charge for a late check-out - thought that was rip-off !
