Hotel was passable room's nice size and clean. The lifts were a nightmare sometimes, to many people for 3 lifts waiting to long, And as for the restaurant at breakfast what a complete shambles it was \"MANIC\" had a job finding a seat tables left full of dirty dishes not a pleasant experience we were rather let down. Food was OK but was always on the cold side. Think we would pay a bit extra for a better hotel next time.

The food is awful and dining room chaotic and tables left with dirty plates etc on. Found it difficult to find a clean table to sit at. The room was ok however the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and when asked reception about mattress we were told all the mattresses were the same. Rooftop pool area was lovely but pool was freezing cold. Would not rate this hotel 4 star

Excellent location. Lovely rooftop pool and bar, shame it closed at 8pm. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were friendly.
Disappointed to not be given clean towels during our three day stay, if we wanted a change of towel they charge € 7
The lounge bar is very small so many people were disappointed at not getting a seat.

Central-AC cooling and telephone not working, told staff about 1 hour after check in, came back around 10pm and issues not fixed, room still very hot. Contacted hotel staff and management thru Orbitz app and no response. I had to sleep at friend's house, didn't use hotel, told staff next morning and they shrug and said manager still not here... Worse hotel experience

Disappointed with tired appearance of room. It was very clean and the bed linen and towels were good.
No coffee or tea making facilities?
Television service very bad.
Breakfast was a nightmare . Dreadful service only two guys available to clear used tables! Breakfast food was good.
I am a property owner in Calpe and had to use the hotel whilst my family visited, other family members stayed in the hotel o will leave it to them to give there comments however it was not a great experience for my wife and I, as we will repeat large family gatherings in the future I will seek a different hotel

The receptionist was very friendly and really lovely. The first impression of our room with extra beds and a large terrace was also really good.
However, we were unable to lock the door to the terrace, the kettle leaked all over the tray it stood on and then over the floor.
It looked as though the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned as there were lots of stains and marks beside the sink.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice for those who preferred cooked breakfast or continental but the atmosphere and lay out was more “work canteen” then expected from a 4 *establishment.
We had to search out cutlery etc as none laid up on our table.
Really sad to say that it would never be our first choice again.

This is a lovely hotel in a great position overlooking the beach. It is meant to be dog friendly but other than being allowed in the room itself, we didn’t find it to be. Was told by reception staff that we could take our dog to the roof top bar but when we got there we were turned away. Not allowed at breakfast either and no alternatives provided. We are in reception area.

Good hotel but gym is terrible

This hotel cannot advertise that it has a gym. It was in very poor condition with almost no equipment - and the equipment that is there feels like it will break and injure me.
Also, I asked for late check-out the night before my check-out day (and was willing to pay, as is their policy), but was told I had to ask in the morning of the check-out day. This is the first time in years of hotel visits that it hasn’t been possible to request it the night before. It defeats the purpose of a late check-out, which is knowing in advance that you can have a relaxing morning. I suggest they revise this highly unusual policy.

Very well maintained hotel with lovely rooftop. The rooms with sea view are fantastic. The rooftop pool was a highlight as you can spend the day there, watching the sunrise and sunset, sunbathe and cool off with a swim; and the rooftop bar had great selection of food and drinks. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of variety and tasty bites.

Very nice hotel. Had a sea view on 6th floor with beautiful views. Very vlean and comfortable. Dont understand why Spanish hotels have such poor ventilation in bathrooms.
Just had B&b. Food was reasonably good but not a huge choice for breakfast

I enjoyed my stay at the Bahia but the only problem was the sound from chairs being dragged around out on the balconys late at night into early hours of the morning. The construction or the chairs make a lot of noise from all the levels. The staff were all great and if we could get over those chairs I would love to come back for another stay.

Property was clean & in an excellent location. The rooftop bar and pool view was also excellent. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and the food was nice enough, but not enough staff on in the morning, as the tables took ages to be cleared. Also, staff at rooftop bar could be a little friendlier!

Overall a pleasant stay, reception very helpful. Buffet breakfast included hot and cold food and plenty of it. Only criticism was the pillows felt like they were filled with rubber, hard to sleep comfortably on them. Everything else fine.

Although on the beach, the hotel is at the extreme end. So expect to walk for a few hours everyday if you want to see much of the frontline. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. All in all, nice hotel and could recommend.

Big disappointment! Very outdated hotel with old and super used furniture, an ultra-small size TV (better-called PC monitor), and low-end mattresses. 3 elevators that can't keep up with people's demands. Waiting for elevator time from the 6th floor might take even 20 minutes. Breakfast was not big enough for the number of people in the hotel. Overall not recommended!!

From the glossy exterior, it was a bit of a disappointment when we got to the room which we upgraded to a sea view on the 7th floor. The room was tired and showed signs of wear, but it was clean. As this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, I expected better.

Outdated, rooms not in good condition, terrible front desk staff, feels like a tourist trap holiday inn with no class or redeeming qualities other than the beach it is in front off.

Shower didn’t work. Parking was ok once we were given instructions to use the underground car park. DO NOT go there with a large vehicle. It was built for tiny little Fiats. Not todays SUV’s. Food was way below par for the money. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s a shame the food was not good or I’d go there again.

Great value for a perfect location

Hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating from start to finish. Good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast everyday. Loved being up at the roof top bar. Didn't use the other pool.

Calpe is a wonderful place. The hotel is very close to the beach and boardwalk. The staff were friendly. Nice to be able to park in the hotel parking garage in that part of town. The air containing and WiFi were mediocre which was a little frustrating.

The hotel was clean and well situated being only moments walk from the town and the beach.
The staff were friendly The pools looked beautiful but were unheated so were far too cold to use in March
My husband tried a cooked breakfast which he said was dire. The maids knock on your door between 8 and 8.30am unless you put the do not disturb sign on your door.
Overall at the time of year we went there was just no atmosphere in the hotel. We met with friends in their hotel which was buzzing as were plenty of the bars and restaurants. I guess this is a nice hotel if you want somewhere quiet.
The view from our balcony was only a partial sea view, you had to be right up against the balcony to see the sea.

The location is great. The ocean view was wonderful to wake up to. Very good value for money. Very clean. Spent time by the roof top pool where the food was good. Only tip to future guests- bring double adapters if you can as there are not many sockets in the room. But would definitely stay again.

We had an Ocean View room which was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful and the response to any any queries was dealt with almost immediately.
Our chambermaid was very efficient and friendly. The beach was a few yards away from the hotel entrance. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that. Overall it is very good value for money and we would recommend the hotel.

Lovely location but little things let it down

Nice looking hotel, excellent location and comfortable beds. Hard to get sea view rooms cool for our October stay as although room is in full sun all day, the air conditioning in rooms had already been switched to heating only for the winter. Service was slow in all areas. Dining room and the lobby bar lacked atmospphere and food quite bssic buffet - so wouldn't recommend full board or all inclusive. One of the best features is the rooftop pool and bar - stunning views. Also dont know why there is no information given to guests zbout the hotel and facilities-apart from meal times. Had to ask for everyghing.

Brilliant hotel roof top pool and bar amazing.. Room clean and cleaners came every day to be fair.. Wouldn't recommend for older children as not much entertainment but OK for toddlers.

Negatives the spa isn't included thought 25 euro was a bit steep on top probably would of paid around 8 each did look nice.. Was a deal for two one day which included massages for 60 euro which did temp us.. Apparently its a seperate business.. Only had food on roof top and was nice.. We ate out in nights was close to beach, main shopping street and the old town perfect location..

This hotel is in a prime location with a beautiful view. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided and toilettries. We enjoyed the vast selection of hot and cold breakfast items. It was so refreshing to stay in such a quiet hotel, all the occupants in the hotel were families or couples with no noisy groups. It was such a pleasure to have returned here for our second visit and we hope to return again some day!

Hotel has an excellent location for beach, restaurant and shops. Good choice for breakfast although cereal choice was poor. Rooms would benefit from an update but were comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was excellent, rooms spotlessly clean and staff very pleasant and helpful. We had a room with a sea view balcony on the 7th floor which was very good. Roof top bar (8th floor) directly above us but didnt affect our stay. Actually loved having a late night drink in the bar prior to going to bed and were entertained by a Jazz duo on the Saturday night.. only minor criticism of the hotel is the lifts - when arriving we had to wait 10 minutes for an empty lift from the car parking. We were staying on accommodation only basis so can’t comment on the food. There are however many good restaurants to choose from and would recommend walking up to the old town with its numerous bars restaurants and cafes.
