This is a lovely hotel and my room was so cute, however I have a sensitivity to scents and this hotel has quite a variety of scented accessories. From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps. My room was in the basement level and besides it having a bit of a damp smell I was literally overcome with the power of the scented candles in my room, it was so bad I had to ask the desk clerk if she could remove which she graciously did, all 7 or 8 of them…wow. The next morning when I woke I was in full on asthma stage and my throat super raspy. If any of the marketing mentioned that this is a scented hotel I would not have booked. I feel bad mentioning this as the hotel is super sweet and the location is perfect, however anyone with a scent sensitivity should be aware. It’s two days later and I am still having an issue with my lungs and voice, again I hate to complain out loud but it was quite an issue.

Small and perfectly formed

Lovely charming hotel, with well considered décor. A welcome change from \"big brand\" hotels - DO NOT be put off by the cheap price. This is a hidden gem full or personal touches, if you like quaint / quirky / considerate, in a great location. I would happily stay here again, and recommend to all friends.

Little Gem

This little gem was just what we wanted for our stay in Calpe. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Yes, it was up a hill but we enjoyed the walk everyday. Breakfast was served in a roof top dining area and we looked forward to the lovely breakfast every morning. We like small hotels and this one I would recommend.

A wonderful hotel in the beautiful old town of Calpe. Staff were amazing and so helpful. The hotel is really quirky and beautifully decorated. The roof terrace was perfect for breakfast or a drink in the evening. Surrounded by great traditional restaurants and the beach is a short walk away. We had an amazing week.

Fabulous greeting by Roman. Fabulous boutique room with a cute balcony. We only stayed for one night but it was perfect,clean, welcoming, unique, complimentary coffee, water and afternoon terrace treat. Great restaurants and bars close by and the beach is 5 minutes away.
Roman is a huge benefit to this hotel, she was professional, friendly and subtly promoted the other hotel/rental properties to us. I would offer her employment!
Book this hotel and request a balcony room, you wont be disappointed.

Enjoyed our break at the Terra da Mar. Ideally located for fabulous restaurants in the old town. 5 minutes to the beach. Lovely fresh breakfast provided. Friendly Staff.

Too small for comfort

The price was good. The room was smaller than those typical in Manhattan. No place to set luggage or any thing in the bathroom. Hydro massage shower not fully functional. No parking near hotel, nearest was a few blocks away and almost always only one space available.

Lovely little boutique hotel in Calpe Old Town

Our second stay here up in the old town in the midst of lovely restaurants and bars. Quiet, comfortable and clean with the rooms being cleaned every day. Great value for money and would use again. Not really suitable for children but great for couples, business, students etc

Lovely Hotel

This is a small hotel tucked away in the old district of Calpe. It is within walking distance of the town centre and the beach, and is surrounded by a number of high quality family hotels. The hotel was very clean, although some of the flooring could do with a retouch. The hotel kindly provided mini-fridge filled with a few bottles of water, and a few cans of soft drinks and beer. There was no onsite parking, however I was able to park onstreet free of charge within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We weren't able to check-in until 4pm, but we were able to check out at 2pm, so it evened out. We'll certainly be back

Very helpful staff

I came to Calpe for a wedding, and the location was perfect for where I needed to be. The staff was very friendly, sweet and helpful. I had to cancel my first night at the last minute, and they didn't charge me, thank God. The concierge was also very helpful in getting me to the bus station back to Madrid, she even booked my ticket for me. The breakfast on the patio was so nice and relaxing that I had it 3 of the 4 nights I stayed. I left an item behind, and they have agreed to graciously send it to back me in Madrid. I will definitely stay here again!

no room a the inn on a cold december night

Its a good place but if it hadn't been for the nice Russian staying there we would of been left with all our bags wondering the street . He used his Russian contact to find us a room . When I phoned the number on the door I was told to go away and stop bothering them ,They said they hadn't got our booking . Big thanks to the young man for helping us . It is a nice place so make sure the booking is ok or you might be left shivering on a December evening being grateful for the kindness of strangers.

fabulous and loving

Het kleine hotel is een oase van rust en sereniteit. Het is met veel smaak, liefde en oog voor detail en met veel aandacht voor welzijn ingericht en gemanaged. Het personeel is meer dan vriendelijk en behulpzaam en kwam bij een onverwachte calamiteit (wegslepen van auto) meteen in actie waardoor alles in een vloek en een zucht opgelost was.
Dit feit compenseert de doucheruimte die echt krap was. Verbeterpuntje is de omschrijving van het dakterras op deze site, dat niet over de stad maar over de daken van de straat uitkijkt.

Me encantó este alojamiento, desde las chicas que trabajan ahí que son demasiado simpáticas y apañas, en lo que necesites ahí están para ayudarte sin problema con muy buen trato. Destacó a Lourdes y a la chica rubia que nos puso el desayuno los dos días por la mañana, muy rico y muy bonito decorado me encantó. La terraza es súper bonita y tranquila desayunar ahí fue un verdadero encanto y más si lo haces en pareja jeje

El hotel ponia en la reserva parki g gratuito y no es correcto ya que tenias que aparcar en un sitio público donde hacian mercado y no podias dejar el coche en fin de semana.
La habitación estaba en un sótano con 1 ventana donde se veia passar la gente de la calle....a parte de esto todo correcto .
La recepcionista muy amable no tiene la culpa de la situación del hotel!!!!!!

Kleines Hotel mit viel Charme

Das kleine Hotel inmitten der Altstadt von Calpe hat sehr viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr klein, aber trotzdem würde ich wieder dieses Hotel buchen - warum?
Die Lage ist perfekt, zum Strand ist es nicht weit, viele gemütliche Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die liebevolle Gestaltung aller Räumlichkeiten im indischen / asiatischen Stil hat uns gefallen, auf der Terrasse ganz oben haben wird jeden Tagesausklang genossen. Wer sich nicht an Kleinigkeiten stört und lieber abseits von Tourismus und Trubel im Altstadtflair bewegen möchte, ist hier in sehr guter Obhut.

Redelijk hotel

Hotel in een autoluw gedeelte, wat lastig te vinden was via de navigatie. De navigatie stuurde oms via eem wirwar van eenrichtingstraatjes, waarbij de navi af en toe de verkeerde rijrichting aangaf. Bij het parkeren drie straten verderop bleek dat we de auto op een betaaldparkerenplaats hadden neergezet en hadden bij terugkomst twee bekeuringen. De kamer zelf was erg klein, maar schoon. Wel wordt er kwistig gestrooid met geurkaarse, geurende bloemen en wierook, net een beetje té sterk ruikend naar onze zin. Het bed was aan de zachte kant. De (uitsluitend Spaanstalige) receptioniste was wel bijzonder vriendelijk.

It's the second time I enjoy this hotel and still believe it offers price, services and good location. Maybe this time the only problem was the trash truck stoping bellow our room every morning at 3am. Generally I like it and will go back again for sure... Enjoy

Geschmackvolles Hotel in Altstadtlage

Das Hotel ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Unser Doppelzimmer verfügte über jeglichen Komfort. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die gemütliche Dachterasse mit Kerzenschein am Abend. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und man kann in wenigen Gehminuten die Einkaufsstraße und den Strand erreichen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Very nice hotel, cozy and unconventional, friendly staff. Daily cleaning and change of towels, in-room kettle, bottled water, tea, coffee, mini - bar, safe, decent linens. The only disadvantage that we were unable once to redirect air conditioning. Located in the centre of the old town, where you could have a dinner and take a walk as well as close to the bus station (10 min walk). But because of the specific acoustics guests can hear conversations from the street, which subside by midnight. Overall we are very pleased with our stay here and recommend this place.

personalet snakket helst spansk... Det ble problematisk. Det ble mye fingerspråk.
Å spise frokost på terrassen kan være flott når det er varmt og fint vær, men ikke når det er kaldt, regnfullt og blåsete slik vårt opphold var. Vi satt i ull og vindjakke og ønsket oss inderlig frokost innendørs. Det var bare mulig ved å flytte frokosten inn på rommet. Vi vurderte å bytte hotell på grunn av dette. Frokosten var god, men altfor \" søt\" og usunn for oss. Lunken kaffe er heller ikke godt. Terrassen med sitt østen preg var et flott skue, spesielt om kvelden da det ble tent levende lys. Da koste vi oss, godt påkledde. Rommet var fint og sengen god. Kunne vært bedre renhold.
Noen irritasjonsmomenter: vasken var tett, aircondition virket ikke, safen så fin ut men vi fikk den ikke til å virke, og det manglet lyspære i en lampe. Et både og opphold for vår del.

Me gusto mucho el hostal y su decoración, limpieza y servicio muy bueno. La única pega, la habitación un poco pequeña y la insonorización. Quizás un poco elevado el precio por noche teniendo en cuenta las dimensiones de la habitación.

Mysig takterass och överdådig frukost

Hotellet är mysigt inrett med många små utsmyckningar, ljus i lyktor lite här och där en vacker terass med en liten springbrunn och ofta mycket tyst fin klassisk musik. Jätteskönt att bara sitta där och koppla av. Vi hade inte tänkt äta frukost där men ångrade oss snabbt, när vi fick se de uppdukade borden på terassen. Vi måste dock varna för att frukosten inte är helt hälsovänlig, dvs att det finns många sorters söta croassanter där. Frukosten innehåller dock även kokt ägg, youghurt och annat. Personalen är mycket vänlig och tillmötesgående men om ni vill ha ett hotell med ständig betjäning har ni kommit fel. Ägaren till detta hotell lägger pengarna på annat, atmosfär, bra boende och frukost. Det innebär att hotellet inte har personal på plats alltid. Däremot är det inte svårt att få telefonkontakt och hjälp därefter.

Emplacement exceptionnel au coeur du vieux Calpé

Accueil très chaleureux, personnel très agréable et souriant. Les chambres, bien que joliment décorées par thème, sont un peu petites, dommage ! Terrasse très agréable où l'on peut prendre son petit déjeuner avec vue sur la vieille ville. Lits confortables. Propreté impeccable !

CON MUCHO ENCANTO UN LUGAR MUY ESPECIAL

Tiene un encanto especial, decoración, velas, olores, canciones escritas en las paredes, poemas, frases... Esta tematizado en paises del mundo, la habitación que me asignaron estaba ambientada en Marruecos, preciosa con todos los detalles: te y cafe gratuito, wifi gratuito, cabina hidromasaje, muy bonita, esta en una zona con mucho encanto, calles pequeñas, rodeado de restaurantes del casco antiguo, ideal para pasear, la terraza en la que sirven el desayuno buffet preciosa con vistas a la muralla antigua, muy cerca del mar, realmente es para una escapada romantica, disponen de un spa a 300 . y tienen una amplia oferta de actividades: buceo, paseo en barco, escalada....espero regresar muy pronto. El personal muy atento te hacian sentir como en casa.
