The standard rooms, which we had, face a very busy road intersection and is very noisy. The air-conditioning which you need is controlled only by reception, not as advertised, individually. Therefore the room was 27°, so we turned it off and suffered the road noise. The bathroom sink was blocked and the jacuzzi bath jets let out brown 'scum' when just using the bath so not great.

We had the most beautiful time there. The staff were very accommodating with regards to my dad needs he had a wheelchair so hotel room was very spacious and the lift was neat breakfast restaurant room. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Really nice hotel. Has the ‘solid marble feel’ of a high end hotel. That said I almost gave it a 4 star as the location isn’t great, the beach is just stones, and the hotel can seem almost empty. The spa is amazing but the gym could be improved and larger. Food was very good.

A nice hotel maybe not the greatest location as it's located at the far end of Altea. Taxis took on average 20 to 30 minutes wait time's to and from the old city. Hotel staff was friendly. Pool area was nice except the 3 days of filming with drones flying over you and the film crew were annoying. Buffet for breakfast and dinner had a nice selection.

We have stayed in this hotel 5 times so obviously enjoy the facilities abd location. However this time checkout was very slow and I was in line for 20 minutes. I had to eventually ask a member of staff standing in the background to check me out, not good customer service. Express checkout or better training of staff would help.

We have stayed several times and always enjoyed our stay. Your staff are exceptionally good - efficient, professional, courteous and excellent english skills. Communication before our stay was very helpful and secured our very comfortable transfers to and from the airport. Our room was exactly what we hoped for. We enjoyed breakfast in our room on 2 occasions and found room service to be excellent. Our only concerns were the haphazard local taxi service. After booking with reception and told we were number 2 or 3, others took the taxis saying they were number 2 or 3. This was quite irritating. Also Kitsume restaurant was disappointing and we were given a limited choice of dishes as everything we chose

The housekeeping at this place is amazing!!! The room was thouroughly cleaned every single day. The brekfast was great with so many options, the staff is nice. The only minor thing is the enforcement of the pool policies. Apperently, neither the jumping, nor the valleyballi in the pool are allowed, but some guests were consistently doing it without any objections from the pool staff. I guess, some guests are treated differentlly.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean and is very well appointed. Rooms and bathroom are spacious. Everything is clean and well maintained. There were ample pool chairs. It’s about a 10 euro cab ride into the little town of Altea nearby where there are little shops and restaurants. Also near the town is an ocean promenade with amazing restaurants. It’s a great place to experience resort-like atmosphere in Spain.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff always answered our questions the housekeeping very good. The only problems we had was people smoking on the next balcony so we couldn't keep our terrace door open at times and the sauna area needs some attention.

This was a lovely hotel, our room (1201) had lovely views over the pool and the sea and was also spacious. Even thought it was next to the lift you could not hear it. As it was out of season there was not a lot guests and that was nice. Bar staff were lovely as were the breakfast staff. Reception staff were also very helpful and the cleaners were also very friendly. Hot and cold buffet breakfast was a huge selection and also included cava and wine if you wanted it. The pool was cold and very refreshing, however the indoor pool was great. You can walk to Altea town via the sea walkway or use the tram which is a 10 min walk away. Definitely would recommend and will visit again.

This was an amazingly beautiful property! It is stunning from the very moment you pull onto the property. We have never been to Spain so we didn't know what to expect. We felt very safe getting around. We used taxis, the tram and walked everywhere we needed to go.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was so kind. The food was great and would highly recommend all the restaurants on the property. But definitely walk off the property and see the town. So many wonderful restaurants and little towns to see and experience! We had a great stay!

Great staff, lovely resort however disappointed that although advertised as a Spa hotel, you have to pay to use the Spa which is not great. The Japanese restaurant had no sushi available on the whole weekend we were there and the Buffet restaurant in the evening is not great with poor choice. This is not a 5 star hotel.

Great as always decor been updated since our last visit and looks great. Pool area fantastic as is the bars. Service as always is spot on, views in room are spectacular. One slight issue was the over charge on mini bar, didn’t touch it yet €40 was on the bill. It was quickly removed when pointed out. First class hotel for the area we will be back in July.

Lovely hotel, room was a great size, with lovely pool/sea view. Bathroom was well appointed with huge shower and spa bath. Unfortunately spa bath on balcony did not work properly. Spa was lovely and girls very professional. All staff in hotel were great and very helpful.
Breakfast was typical buffet style, something for everyone, some choices a little limited. Evening meal was again typical buffet fair, standard not great, which lets hotel down.
Lunch in poolside restaurant was of a much higher standard, very enjoyable.

It was a 5 day family break birthday trip and SH Villa Gadea made the break truly memorable. We were upgraded to a lovely seaview terrace on arrival, the view is AMAZING, and I would totally book it next time. Ive also got a surprise bottle of bubbly plus selection of cakes on the birthday- thank you so much Team Villa Gadea, that was lovely!
Besides that, would like to highlight how fantastic everyone on the receltion team is, particularly Surin ( might be misspelling the name here),nothing is too much and are very helpful. We loved the pool, especially the indoor one, as the trip was end of October, and it's a very unusual set up with all the walls and ceiling made of glass so you can swim in the indoor pool while still enjoying the palms swalying outside.
We had a rental car to explore the area, which was the right choice for us, but it's pretty walkalble to the old town should you choose to do so.

This was a very nice stay for us, from the moment we were greeted at reception, Adrian was very nice and made us feel welcome from the start, to enjoying a nice glass of cava in the pool bar, this was all almost flawless.
Only negative thing was that the cleaning lady did a lot a noise in the next room at 9 AM in the morning, you would expect a 5 star hotel has a occupancy chart and know were to deploy cleaning crews without disturbing customers.
Free parking was a huge plus.
We will be back there none the less.

i liked very much the pool and beach area, though it would have been perfect if it had been a little warmer...too cold for my taste. They should consider add a water heater for the pool.
I also have a lot of problems with the internet and the WIFI- it does not make sense to me such a beautiful hotel with such a poor internet service....after much pressure, i had to more 3 times and get their IT person to install a special router in my room, after which problems solved....but it took 3 days to solve.
