Ive been here quite a few times. the resort is stating to show its age due to sloppy maintenance. The people ding the repairs are no very good and repairs and maintenance shows it.this resort is beautiful, but is not being maintained as such. Once a tremendous jewel is very lackluster. Staff morale shows the same thing. Going to give it one more try and if things don't improve I just wont be going back

Everything was good. The security at the gate i wasn't pleased with them. I was ready to leave and my driver car shut down. They ask for help to get a jump start no help was given. A stranger had to help us get out of the property. Then they kept asking me the guess questions like if i am a guet here. Otherwise from that i had nothing elses Everything else was good. I booked another reservation hopefully nothing will turn me off. Always love this place

We spent 4 days for a family wedding. It would have been helpful to have a booklet explaining the options for food and activities because the app. Was hard to access on our phones. The rooms were comfortable but we felt they pushed too much alcohol, coming around with shots at the music venue and at the lobby area, in addition to having bars everywhere.

The room was very nice, though the doors did make a bit of noise opening and closing which was tricky in the middle of the night. There was also some noise from the street outside. We didn’t seem to have a choice in which Villa we got which meant we were a long walk from the main area. Food was decent, good array of options but they did run out of the best choices and they do start closing during later breakfast/lunch hours.

Overall we had a nice stay. Adults with tweens and teens. The staff was friendly. The rooms were decent nice property. I would say they need more pool space because when they’re at full capacity, the seating became a challenge. We did the bike tour that was fun. My friends enjoyed the spa. I wasn’t crazy about the food, but it was OK. I still had a relaxing time.

Enjoyed the coffee shop both in morning and evening.
The upper deck infinity bar with evening vocalist was both relaxing and entertaining.
Rooms were clean and well maintained.
My girls enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling in the cove.
The steak house and Japanese restaurant provided exceptional dining experience.
Good late-night burger at Sports bar.
All bartenders and wait staff very friendly.
Expedia staff very helpful and checked in on us a couple of times.

It was very clean. The food was amazing everywhere we want to eat. The food was 10 out of 10. The rooms were huge and beautiful. I gave an average rating for the hotel just because it was under a lot of construction, but it was very beautiful and the staff I feel could’ve been nicer and smiled more. Sometimes I would catch people rolling their eyes and just being very dry, but when we went on tours the staff on the tours and excursions were amazing very friendly very nice. I do have to say, though the stuff that I’m saying was very dry was in the buffet only everywhere else they were good and amazing and the energy was there

the room was clean and the staff were nice but we were dealing with power issues the whole entire time i was there. also, we had a issue with telling the waiter that we had allergies an not once but TWICE did they not listen to what we said and one of my friend consumed the food that had her allergy in it. the staff was apologetic but luckily for my friend she allergy is not severe.

If you want to be bombarded by timeshare sales this is your spot.
There was open electrical wires taped together under the pool bar.
Bartender on the first night was the unbelievable rude to another guest then another bartender came out and was the exact same to me when I questioned him about the drink he made.
Kids pool doesn’t open till after 9am…the adult pool is open sooner.

Note we have been to this property 3 times in the past 17 years since it opened. It has gone down hill dramatically.

1. Issues began right out of the gate at check in. Took 30 mins - hour where the staff seemed carefree on moving with urgency to get people checked in. (Common thread the entire trip)

2. Though some of the employees had a good attitude, the majority made us feel like we were a nuisance and unwanted there. Notably rude individuals were the pool bar by the kid pool especially Nicholas who was never friendly and constantly talking under his breath to his coworkers in their language with attitude.

3. “Engineer” came to fix the air that remained at 80+ degrees most of the time. He was a jerk and could have cared less.

4. My son’s wrist band was too tight so we cut it off. Went back to the front desk where the women working it was rude about it all, rolling eyes etc.

5. Common theme across 90% of the property was rude, unwanting to help and work. No one has sense of urgency whatsoever.

6. Place was run down. Lots of workers making very little headway on maintenance.

7. Pool music would sometimes come on. If it did it did not start until 2 PM fo a very short time.

8. Very little entertainment, especially for kids. Only good entertainment was by the pool on the 2nd floor above the Mexican restaurant at night and some shows. Need to have constant things going on like all other resorts, again especially for the kids. Go somewhere else.

Th hurricane did affect them. There is a lot under construction. They make you use an app, but it doesn’t always work. You have to call the property to book reservations fo everything. Not a big night life, you are in a very remote area. Getting to another town round trip is going to cost 200$

The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa was a very good value for the money. It truly was all inclusive and offered many, many specialty restaurant as well as several buffet restaurants. They also had a sports bar that served food about 20 hours a day. Entertainment options at night were plentiful and if you like late night dancing that option was open every night into the wee hours of the morning. The pool and beach areas had plenty of seating no matter what time you arrive but of course in the morning was the best time for prime locations.
My adult daughter and I had a great vacation!

Pro : spacious , above average food and lot of selections, friendly staff , best beach with corals and fishes so far that i have seen in Jamaica .
Cons : take forever to check in , if you missed a reservation for restaurant dine in it will be hard to walked in on a busy day. A bit outdated on room and amenities. You must carry 30$ cash if you want to do all those water sports activities. Far away from Mbj airport (1hr plus drive)
In conclusion, this is the best one so far in our opinion. Strongly recommended

The room set up was great with the pool and sofa outside right on the ocean, amazing! Outside of that, I was not impressed. I asked for extra pillows and blanket, never came. Asked the second night, never came. We had a long day of outside excursions and came back to no clean wash clothes. The beds do not have a mattress protector or fitted sheet. Just a flat sheet I had to keep adjusting. We ordered hookah at the pool, the server never came back to check on us to add more coal or anything. HUGE POOL, very little seating pool adjacent to enjoy the music or view. The location was also very far and adds $100 to excursion prices for pick up. You must make reservations each night or eat the buffet. You wouldn’t know this until check in. And if I had not called guest services, there would not have been any reservations available for our entire stay. Room service is an additional fee of $18 each time.

I would not recommend or rebook.

First, the room was really far. We had to walk so much and every time I go for a ride, nobody shows up my kids got all swollen and hurting because of walking too much to the pool. We got no help second the food was garbage. I am so sorry to say that, but we did not enjoy the food at all, and I have pictures and improvers Plus they made me lose one night with no refund.

Our room backed onto the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise. We watched a police roadblock with machine guns from our balcony!

There was no elevator anywhere in the hotel, neither in the room buildings nor in the main building. This made our stay much more difficult, especially since we were travelling with a baby and a stroller. This information was never mentioned on the website, in emails, or during the reservation process, which was very disappointing considering this hotel is part of the Grand Palladium brand.
In addition, several beach activities advertised on the website and in the hotel app were not available. There were no sailboats or windsurfing, which were activities I was really looking forward to during our trip. This felt like misleading advertising and was very frustrating.

Staff was slow to answer, shuttle rides across the property was none existent if you weren’t getting a ride at the lobby as they took forever to answer the phones. Checkout day we called onsite 3 times before they answered, waited for 15min and because they hadn’t shown we just decide to walk with all of our luggage to the other side of the property which was another 10-15min to walk. The food was very disappointing and lacked flavor… On our first night, we encountered a room leak. We reported the issue to the front desk the next morning, but maintenance arrived five to six hours later and failed to resolve the problem. Frustrated, we requested a room change, but the front desk staff acted as if it was an insurmountable task. They asked us to return as they prepared a new room. We arrived back at the front desk an hour and fifteen minutes later, but the issue was still unresolved. It took another two to two and a half hours for us to finally be moved to a new room as again this is a daunting task. After moving, we discovered that the new room was not cooling off. We had to rush to dinner reservations and thought maybe we needed to give it some time since we had just arrived in the room. So, we reported this issue to guest services at 6 AM the next morning. We reported the issue to the front desk 3-4 additional times before we could get help but in the end the air never got fixed and we ended up staying an additional 2 nights in the heat.

Upon check in we were informed that our room wasn’t available for one night and we’d be moved the next day. They gave us a Lobster Dinner for that. We went the next day and asked what time we would be moved and the front desk told us late afternoon and a bell man would be by to get our things. The weather was horrible that day, so we hung out in our room until 5:15 and went to the front desk before dinner to ask when we were going to be moved. The lady said, I’m going to get the manager. The manager then informed us that we were actually not going to get our room. I was already upset due to the fact that our luggage didn’t make it to Jamaica and the room we were so excited to get was now not going to happen. The resort knew that they weren’t going to give us our room. No email from them before we arrived stating any of this. They thought they were going to smooth it over with a Lobster dinner. Only then, when I was visibly upset, did the manager offer a 25 minute massage. I told her, how bout you start with refunding us our money that we paid extra for the upgrade. WE had to demand it! When we went the next night for our complimentary Lobster Dinner, our waitress asked us, which one of you wants the Lobster? Excuse me? Only one of us gets the Lobster Dinner? I guess we’ll split it. There’s more, but I don’t have the room to type it all.

My first day of checking in they gave me a room that the TV fan or AC. He wasn't working. I called and went down. They gave us another room.They actually upgraded their room to a studio but the TV in there didn't work. We had mold growing out the closet. The weather wasn't the best. I think that resort needs to have activities so when people come to the resort, they could have things to do if they can't sit out in the beach. we had to go off the resort to enjoy the vacation to do things because it wasn't nothing to do at the resort but to sit on the beach and drink. so we couldn't do that because it was windy and rainy a couple of days so we just sit in the room. I won't be coming back there until they get some type of activity for adults to do to enjoy yourself on the resort and not have to go off the resort, but the staff was wonderful. They did the best. I really enjoyed them.

First of all… part of the problem was on me. I inadvertently checked “one traveler” when I made my reservation when my wife would be traveling with me. Ok, I guess I expected that might cost me something but initially they asked me to pay more than 100% of the room charge to add her onto the reservation. Really? I complained and they took 20% off the initial ask. This was for one night on the property, knowing it was going to be chilly and windy. So almost $500 for a bed, a dinner and a minimal breakfast for her. They wouldn’t budge on this and a really had no choice. Once on the property we were hungry. The only option was the “sports bar” which had an essentially empty buffet/hot bar.
We finally made it to dinner…server was nice but food was really pretty BAD!!
In the room, the main lights had to be on for the bathroom lights to work. Restful, right??
Breakfast buffet not much better. Nice servers but lousy food. The fruit? Barely edible.
When I tried to complain about the charge for my wife on checkout, all the clerk could tell me was that I had an outstanding $4.00 charge for room tax.
This is a beautiful property with potential and nice staff, and I get that there was a major storm here a few months ago, but your hard earned $ would be better spent elsewhere.

Long wait to check in and no map was shown of the property or any info regarding our stay- just download the app. The Expedia rep did guide us thankfully. No one new where the fitness classes were, mini bar was not stocked on arrival or restocked unless requested (three times before it was). The second day housekeeping took all our used wash cloths and any form of towels and didn't replace them so when we got back from our day we had to call and wait 30 minutes before receiving fresh ones delivered by a kind person happy to help! Both dinners we waited over 45 minutes after ordering for our food and the time in between courses was loooong too! No cups by the coffee machine, no cups by the juice. The beach - beautiful. The staff friendly.

For the first 3 days, the initial room had a bad ceiling water leak that they attempted to fix twice with no luck. Finally we were moved to a different room that was also in need of update, but it was ok. Some of the staff members were nice, others were rude, and almost all of them highly inappropriate asking personal questions, and obviously, not trained to deal with diversity and inclusion. We are a 2 female couple and everyone asked if we were daughter and mom. We did not enjoy the food; most options were very greasy. The a la carte restaurant options were ok overall, but would not recommend the Asian one (very loud, servers are slow, food is horrible). The drinks were as bad as they can be and staff could use a better bartender training to differentiate between a margarita, mojito, or perhaps, any other drink. However, the area we enjoyed the most was Las Brisas bar. Although all the mix drinks taste bad, and the beer was not ice cold as we expected, the staff was amazing and welcoming.
Unfortunately the hotel failed to meet our expectations for this very special milestone celebration (10 year marriage anniversary) and we are not sure if it is a placed that we would either visit again or recommend to friends or family. We understand that culturally our marriage might look different to the people of Jamaica, but the hotel could use the investment to train their personnel...i mean, come on people, it is 2026.
